The good thing about Trump taking a 4-year-long vacation or sabattical from the presidency is that it has given him time to figure out who the Deep State is, who the bad guys and bad institutions, like the CIA and FBI, really are, and to make a plan.

Like most other popular social media sites, the Powers That Be at Twitter possess grossly inflated opinions of themselves, especially as it relates to what they feel is their supposed “duty” to keep their platform as free from so-called “disinformation” as they possibly can, most notably in election years.
“Twitter plays a critical role in empowering democratic conversations, facilitating meaningful political debate, and providing information on civic participation – not only in the US, but around the world. People deserve to trust the election conversations and content they encounter on Twitter,” the company proclaimed Thursday.
In reality, what they’re doing behind the scenes when they think no one is paying attention is acting as information gatekeepers for Democrats by way of penalizing conservative accounts for WrongThink and for daring to publish or promote unflattering stories and/or asking uncomfortable questions about candidates for higher office along with other high-profile public figures who have the potential to influence public policy.
One of the more notorious examples of this tactic in action was in their deliberate suppression of the New York Post’s blockbuster Hunter Biden laptop emails story in October 2020, just a few weeks out from the presidential election. Not only did they lock down the Post’s main Twitter account for about two weeks, but they also suppressed the story when other Twitter users attempted to share it, something Facebook admitted to doing as well.
Here we are nearly two years later, and Twitter has officially announced yet again in so many words that they are answering Joe Biden’s “special appeal” from January and are, in a nutshell, getting ready to start trying to stack the deck against Republicans ahead of the 2022 midterm elections:

“Nuclear Documents” appears to be lining up as the new Russia Hoax.
So we can assume the narrative will now be that Trump leaked, or could have leaked, nuclear secrets to Putin – which justified “authorities to try to move as quickly as possible to recover sensitive documents” in the name of national security, even though Trump has been out of office for 18 months, and his boxes of papers and stuff that the National Archives are claiming belong to them have been in his possession all that time.

Garland has not authorized the release of the affidavit, either, only two very limited specific parts of the entire document.
In a telling exclusive for Newsweek, a reliable left wing outlet for authorized leaks from anonymous Government officials to help knit more of a Democrat narrative, “a senior Justice Department official who is a 30-year veteran of the FBI” and “a senior intelligence official who was briefed on the investigation and the operation” revealed that a “confidential informant” helped provide the basis for the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago.
So, FBI is claiming they had a spy close to Trump “who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents”.
Why should we believe you after all the crap you Feebs lied about and planted as fraudulent evidence during the 5+ years of your “Crossfire Hurricane” operation, aka “Russiagate” partnering with the Democrat Party and certain members of Congress to attempt to destroy Trump from the start?
WaPo, another official government leak outlet reports, citing ‘people familiar with the investigation’, that the FBI was looking for ‘classified documents relating to nuclear weapons,’ among other things, during its Monday raid. The leakers did not offer additional details.
Now Trump was supposed to have removed highly classified nuclear documents? So, Garland, are your Feebs now cobbling together a bogus ex post facto affidavit for search warrant to include “nuclear documents”? This strikes me as an attempt at fear-mongering.

White House documents that former President Donald Trump brought with him to Mar-a-Lago had been declassified, Trump allies said.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said Thursday that he had “personally approved” the search of Trump’s Florida home, which was raided by FBI agents on Monday. Multiple reports said the raid was related to the handling of presidential records, including classified documents, after leaving office.
The Justice Department has prosecuted cases involving the mishandling of classified information, but no such case has been brought against a former president — the one government official who can declassify information at will.
Ric Grenell, who was Trump’s acting director of national intelligence, told NBC News that documents can be declassified if the president simply says they are.
“There is no approval process for the president of the United States to declassify intelligence,” Grenell told NBC News. “There is this phony idea that he must provide notification for declassification, but that’s just silly. Who is he supposed to notify? I think it’s the height of swampism to think the president should seek bureaucrats’ approval.”
Kash Patel, a Pentagon chief of staff during the Trump administration, in May said that documents previously recovered from Mar-a-Lago had been declassified by Trump, but their markings were not updated.
“Trump declassified whole sets of materials in anticipation of leaving government that he thought the American public should have the right to read themselves,” Patel told Breitbart News.
“The White House counsel failed to generate the paperwork to change the classification markings, but that doesn’t mean the information wasn’t declassified. I was there with President Trump when he said, ‘We are declassifying this information.'”
At the time, Patel did not specify what the earlier documents were, but added, “it’s information that Trump felt spoke to matters regarding everything from Russiagate to the Ukraine impeachment fiasco to major national security matters of great public importance — anything the president felt the American people had a right to know is in there and more. We are declassifying this information.”
The 1978 Presidential Records Act requires presidents to turn over documents to the National Archives at the end of their administration. Although the law does not specify enforcement, there are multiple federal laws regarding the handling of classified documents.
“As the facts stand now, his [Trump’s] defense would be, ‘I declassified those documents. I am not therefore in possession of classified documents now,'” Charles Stimson, a senior fellow with the Heritage Foundation and a former federal prosecutor, told NBC News.
Trump foes, however, reject the notion a president can declassify documents so easily.
“He can’t just wave a wand and say it’s declassified,” Richard Immerman, a historian and former assistant deputy director of national intelligence under former President Barack Obama, told NBC News. “There has to be a formal process. That’s the only way the system can work.
“I’ve seen thousands of declassified documents. They’re all marked ‘declassified’ with the date they were declassified.”
One source told NBC News that Trump as president wasn’t concerned with formal protocol.
“We’ve told him there’s a process and not following it could be a problem but he didn’t care because he thinks this stuff is dumb,” the source said of declassifying documents. “His attitude is that he is the president. He is in charge of the country and therefore national security. So he decides.”

Classified documents are usually declassified after a period of time or they can be declassified by the classification authority.
There are classification guides that specify what type of information should get stamped as classified: Confidential, Secret, Top Secret, etc…
Much of the classified is generated by DoD and stamped by people who are not the classification authority. So a lot of stuff gets labelled incorrectly anyway.
Trump, as head of DoD was over all classification authorities and could have declassified whatever. With few exceptions.

Putin attended Davos every year until this year when Davos froze him out and the world’s leaders shunned him over Ukraine.
Last year Putin was the keynote speaker at WEF.
Putin is also very involved with the “Russian Davos” competitor to the WEF which the Kremlin launched in 1997 — the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) to attract foreign investment, discuss economic policy and project an image it was open for business after the demise of Soviet rule.
It was at SPIEF in June of this year that Putin gave a speech that the Unipolar World Order was over.
I recall that you asked about the Central Bank of Russia. Forgive me for not answering until now.
It is entirely a state reserve bank which also operates as the national treasury, it controls the national sovereign funds which are derived from foreign trade in tangible export products, there is no private ownership in the central bank and no fiat money.

This indicates they are a prudent, disciplined manufacturing and producer nation (as in industrial capitalism — the state will partner public-private corporations for strategic industries, and the state’s share of the profits flow into the sovereign funds which are then used for the government’s business, industrial, military, medical and science research, the Armed Forces, infrastructure, economic development investment, disaster recovery, social welfare programs, etc) with $300-$600 billion in gold reserves not locked up by sanctions, and abundant resources.
And it is an unexpectedly huge bumper year for both Russian energy and wheat.
The US’ is 123% debt to GDP. America is a consumer nation invested in finance capitalism, and the only thing we produce anymore is debt on top of more debt, which is then peddled to foreign nations for investment.
The Russian Central Bank is governed by Elvira Nabiullina, Putin’s trusted and talented protege he’s known and worked with for decades.
Nabiullina graduated from Moscow State University in 1986.
Over the next twelve years, she worked her way up through the USSR Science and Industry Union and its successor, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and then through the ministry for economic development and trade.
She worked for a bank for a couple of years, and then it was back to the ministry in 2000 as first deputy, after Vladimir Putin became prime minister the previous year.
From then on, Nabiullina would remain close to Putin. When he became president, later in 2000, Putin appointed Nabiullina minister of economic development and trade.
When he was elected president for a third term, in 2012, he brought her into the Kremlin, and made her his advisor on economic affairs. The next year, Putin made her governor of the central bank of Russia. He nominated her to a third term as governor on March 18 of this year.
At one time, the appointed Governor of the Central Bank of Russia was completely independent of the government, and had more or less sovereign discretion over central bank management and operations and polices of the banking industry, answerable only to the president.
But within the past year or two (or maybe more), Putin and his economic advisors did some Kremlin restructuring and formed an economic security council similar to a national security council, and now the Central Bank is under its authority.
I can’t find the formal name of this Kremlin economic security council, now, but some of the Russian economic expert heavyweights sit on the council, as do Putin and Nabiullina. I noticed it one day when I was browsing the Kremlin.ru English site.
The bank governor is still manages the day-to-day operations, but any big economic and financial decisions of strategic or national security importance is now backstopped or handled by this economic security council. And while I do believe that a central bank should have a high degree of independence and not subject to political pressure, complete autonomy of our own highly secretive Federal Reserve is ridiculous, too.
In Russia, the two-house parliament handles the affairs of economy, led by the prime minister. The Russian Central Bank regulates banking and currency, as well as initiates actions for banking and financial crimes.
Here, we currently have Janet Yellin managing our own economy behind closed doors, not answerable to anybody, and the only way to parse what the Fed is doing is to read a crystal ball. .
Nabiullina did a brilliant job with the Central Bank keeping Russia afloat and balancing and stabilizing the ruble when all the sanctions hit.
No one expected the viciousness and swiftness of US sanctions on Russia’s foreign gold reserves followed by other Western states, and Nabiullina tendered her resignation for not being quick enough to withdraw those reserves before they were seized.
Putin refused it, and a couple of months later, recommended her for third term as banking governor.
She must have done something consistently right, because she actually received high praise from other bankers and economists (in Europe), and even from the US ambassador to Russia, a true diplomat of the old school, congratulating her on a job well done saving Russia.
At times she attends the Putin’s national security council, too. These are the top secret, closed door meetings that the Kremlin website in daily events merely states that “Putin met with the national security council,” who was in attendance, and nothing more.

(a) military plans, weapons systems, or operations;

(c) intelligence activities (including covert action), intelligence sources or methods, or cryptology;
(d) foreign relations or foreign activities of the United States, including confidential sources;
(e) scientific, technological, or economic matters relating to the national security;

(g) vulnerabilities or capabilities of systems, installations, infrastructures, projects, plans, or protection services relating to the national security; or

Sec. 1.7. Classification Prohibitions and Limitations. (a) In no case shall information be classified, continue to be maintained as classified, or fail to be declassified in order to:
(1) conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error;
(2) prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency;
(3) restrain competition; or
(4) prevent or delay the release of information that does not require protection in the interest of the national security.

Sec. 3.1. Authority for Declassification. (a) Information shall be declassified as soon as it no longer meets the standards for classification under this order.

(2) the originator’s current successor in function, if that individual has original classification authority;
(3) a supervisory official of either the originator or his or her successor in function, if the supervisory official has original classification authority; or (4) officials delegated declassification authority in writing by the agency head or the senior agency official of the originating agency.
(c) The Director of National Intelligence (or, if delegated by the Director of National Intelligence, the Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence) may, with respect to the Intelligence Community, after consultation with the head of the originating Intelligence Community element or department, declassify, downgrade, or direct the declassification or downgrading of information or intelligence relating to intelligence sources, methods, or activities.
(d) It is presumed that information that continues to meet the classification requirements under this order requires continued protection. In some exceptional cases, however, the need to protect such information may be outweighed by the public interest in disclosure of the information, and in these cases the information should be declassified.
When such questions arise, they shall be referred to the agency head or the senior agency official. That official will determine, as an exercise of discretion, whether the public interest in disclosure outweighs the damage to the national security that might reasonably be expected from disclosure.
I want to draw your attention specifically to Section 1.7–In no case shall information be classified, continue to be maintained as classified, or fail to be declassified in order to: (1) conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error; (2) prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency . . .
I think a case can be made that the FBI and the Department of Justice are violating Obama’s Executive Order by trying to keep the documentary evidence of their lawless behavior classified. The material that Garland and Wray want classified “conceals violations of law.”

One other point of clarification for most readers. There are only a small number of organizations in the United States Government that produce original intelligence where the members of those organizations have originating authority to classify a document or image or electronic communication. These agencies are:
The Central Intelligence Agency (human source information)
The Defense Intelligence Agency (human source information)
The National Security Agency (NSA)
National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA),
National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
Other entities, such as the FBI, DEA, Coast Guard and Department of Energy are nominally part of the intelligence community, but spend more time consuming intelligence product than producing intelligence product.
The FBI and DEA in particular try not to produce intelligence from information (aka evidence) they collect in the course of an investigation because they want to be able to use that information in a prosecution. This is not to say that the FBI and DEA never produce intelligence, but it is not their primary task or focus.

Donald Trump’s office told Just the News on Friday that the classified materials the FBI seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate were declassified under a “standing order” while he was president that allowed him to take sensitive materials to the White House residence at night to keep working.
The official statement is likely to become the focus of the president’s legal defense as the FBI and Biden Justice Department investigate whether he stole records covered under the Presidential Records Act or mishandled classified materials under the Espionage Act, allegations included in a search warrant released by a federal court in Florida on Friday.
The president’s defense is rooted in the legal principal that the president and vice president are the ultimate declassifying authority of the U.S. government and through executive orders most recently issued in 2003 by George W. Bush and Barack Obama in 2009 that specifically exempt the president and vice president from having to follow the stringent declassification procedures every other federal agency and official must follow.
Trump has maintained for weeks that any documents still containing classified markings in his possession after he left office were previously declassified. On Friday night, the statement issued to Just the News explained exactly how that declassification occurred in his mind.
The very fact that these documents were present at Mar-a-Lago means they couldn’t have been classified,” the former president’s office stated. “As we can all relate to, everyone ends up having to bring home their work from time to time. American presidents are no different. President Trump, in order to prepare for work the next day, often took documents including classified documents from the Oval Office to the residence.
“He had a standing order that documents removed from the Oval Office and taken into the residence were deemed to be declassified,” the statement added. “The power to classify and declassify documents rests solely with the President of the United States. The idea that some paper-pushing bureaucrat, with classification authority delegated BY THE PRESIDENT, needs to approve of declassification is absurd.”
Two former senior aides who worked for Trump in the latter half of his term said they were aware that Trump routinely took documents to the residence rather than return them to the Staff Secretary or the intelligence official who provided them. Asked whether there was a standing order, one former official “I don’t know anyone or anything that disputes that.”
Ordinarily, documents declassified by a president are later retrieved and marked declassified, usually by crossing a line through the prior classification markings. But former top aides to prior presidents acknowledged the president’s power to declassify was absolute and at times resulted in instant declassification decisions.

Former President Donald Trump on Friday pointedly denied still possessing classified documents about nuclear weapons after a Washington Post article suggested that was what FBI agents were searching for in his home.
He compared the article to leaks during the 2016 election of the now-discredited Steele dossier.
Trump wrote on his social media app Truth Social, “Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more.”
“Same sleazy people involved,” he added, referring to some of the top appointees at the DOJ and FBI. “Why wouldn’t the FBI allow the inspection of areas at Mar-a-Lago with our lawyer’s [sic], or others present. Made them wait outside in the heat, wouldn’t let them get even close — said ‘ABSOLUTELY NOT.'”
Trump further suggested that information may have been leaked to the media in order to portray him in a negative light following the raid.

Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy told Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan Friday that he believes there are “seven chances in ten” the Department of Justice (DOJ) indicts former President Donald Trump on federal charges.
On Monday, the FBI removed 11 sets of classified information from Trump’s home in southern Florida, reportedly taking some documents marked “top secret” that were supposed to be stored in government facilities. McCarthy told Klavan he believes the FBI searched Trump’s property with a “closet agenda” to look for information regarding the president’s role in the events of January 6, and that there is a good chance the DOJ will indict the former president.
“I would say that seven chances in ten he’s going to be indicted,” the National Review contributing editor told a surprised Klavan. “They may add classified information charges now that they’ve done this, but they are gunning to get him … on January 6.”
McCarthy added that he suspects the FBI had a “closet agenda” behind the search warrant that gave agents access to Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. He said that the bureau was really looking for evidence that Trump conspired to prevent the certification of the 2020 election on January 6, 2021.
“I think they are mainly trying to make a case on Trump related to January 6, and I think that if you look at the timeline of what they’ve done in the six weeks in which this Mar-a-Lago search is included, that becomes clear,” McCarthy said.
The former federal prosecutor explained that just because he believes the FBI had a “closet agenda” in its search, that doesn’t mean the bureau lied to the court or that it doesn’t care about the reported classified documents at Trump’s home.
“I just think they wanted a reason to get into Trump’s residence and root around for things that might be helpful to them while they’re frenetically trying to make a January 6 case,” McCarthy commented.
According to a Washington Post report Thursday, FBI agents were seeking nuclear weapons secrets that Trump had allegedly taken with him after leaving the White House in January 2021. However, unsealed copies of the warrant showed no specific mention of classified nuclear documents.
Klavan asked McCarthy if Americans are justified in their concern about the FBI abusing its authority following the Trump raid.
The FBI has “lost the benefit of the doubt,” McCarthy responded. “I’ve argued that I think the national security mission should be taken away from them … because I think it’s changed the culture of the bureau.”
The FBI, according to McCarthy, has become more like an intelligence agency than a police force after the U.S. government focused on stopping terrorism in the 1990s and then following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Overall, the bureau has accepted a culture of “saving the country” over a dedication to following the rules that limit its scope and authority, McCarthy argued. He then suggested that the DOJ as a whole is being influenced by Democratic talking points, explaining that Attorney General Merrick Garland has changed since he knew him in the 1990s because McCarthy believes the attorney general is under pressure from the Democratic base.
“I keep hoping that a lot of this stuff that Garland is doing, as bad as it is, is mainly theatrical, and that when push comes to shove they won’t actually file these charges.”

Jury Orders Democrat PAC to Pay Republican Roy Moore $8.2 Million in Defamation Case

A federal jury has ordered a Democrat-aligned super PAC to pay Republican Roy Moore $8.2 million in damages.
On Friday, the court ruled that Senate Majority PAC defamed Moore in a TV ad when he was running for Senate in Alabama in 2017.
Moore lost the race amid accusations of sexual misconduct.
Jurors found the Senate Majority PAC made false and defamatory statements against Moore in one television ad.
“We’re very thankful to God for an opportunity to help restore my reputation which was severely damaged by the 2017 election,” Moore said.
“In their ad, they strung quotes together to make a single statement,” Jeffrey Scott Wittenbrink Moore’s lawyer said.
“That’s what the jury found offensive.
“They got up and lied and said they didn’t intend that.”
The advertisement said:
“What do people who know Roy Moore say?…
“Moore was actually banned from the Gadsden mall for soliciting sex from young girls.
“One he approached was 14 and working as Santa’s helper.”
Ben Stafford, an attorney representing Senate Majority PAC, said he will appeal the verdict.
Stafford said:
“No amount of deflection or distraction from Roy Moore will change the fact that multiple individuals testified under oath to corroborate credible accusations against him.
“Many others have come forward to make their allegations public, at serious personal cost.
“We do not think this verdict is the right decision, but we believe the facts are clear and this ruling will be overturned on appeal,” Stafford said.

From what I’d followed of Judge Moore through the several controversies that hit him back in the Aughts, he generally was on the higher moral ground standing by his Christian morals and ethics, and was penalized for it, such as being forced by the ACLU gang and the Jew Separation of Church & State thugs to remove his Ten Commandments monument from the courthouse.
It was no crime back in the ’70s for an unmarried man in his 20’s or ’30s, and a biblically minded man looking for a mate, to be attracted to teenage girls as long as they were the age of consent for sexual intercourse to avoid charges of statutory rape, which is 16 in Alabama. Parental consent is needed in Alabama at age 14 for underage teenage marriage or “child marriage”.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ hubby went whole hog at a Whole Foods Market in California — where his motorcade blocked several handicapped parking spaces while he shopped.
The piggish behavior took place outside the upscale supermarket in Brentwood as second gentleman Doug Emhoff strolled the aisles for about 20 minutes before emerging with two bags of groceries.
New photos show two Secret Service vehicles positioned diagonally over the specially designated spots during Emhoff’s trip to the market on Wednesday.
Pursuant to California Vehicle Code, “it is unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any vehicle in a stall or space designated for disabled persons and disabled veterans” unless they are displaying a special identification license plate or placard.
Neither vehicle was seen displaying the necessary identification.
Instead, the black Chevrolet suburbans donned Department of Homeland Security license plates that read “US Government…For Official Use Only.”
The same day, Emhoff was seen picking up dry cleaning near the grocery store.
A witness said that as the motorcade left the parking lot for Whole Foods, one of the vehicles briefly turned on its lights and sirens.
The Brentwood Whole Foods did not immediately respond to The Post’s inquiry regarding the incident.
It was not immediately clear why the second gentleman’s detail decided to block the parking spaces – which are placed closest to the store to provide easy access for disabled shoppers.
A US Secret Service spokesman declined to provide any details when asked for comment by The Post saying, “Due to the need to maintain operational security, the U.S. Secret Service does not comment on the means or methods used to conduct our protective operations.”

Atlantic contributor Daniel Panneton declared that the Catholic rosary has become a “symbol” of religious radicalism.
The rosary is a string of beads or knots used by Catholics as they pray a sequence of prayers, but one writer warned they have taken on a far darker meaning in modern times.
“Just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or ‘rad trad’) Catholics,” Panneton claimed in the Sunday piece titled, “How the Rosary Became an Extremist Symbol.”
He added, “On this extremist fringe, rosary beads have been woven into a conspiratorial politics and absolutist gun culture.
“These armed radical traditionalists have taken up a spiritual notion that the rosary can be a weapon in the fight against evil and turned it into something dangerously literal.”
Panneton slammed an entire online ecosystem for disseminating imagery featuring Christian warriors both historical and modern, suggesting that “social-media pages are saturated with images of rosaries draped over firearms, warriors in prayer, Deus Vult (‘God wills it’) crusader memes, and exhortations for men to rise up and become Church Militants.”

He observed that rosary beads “provide an aide-mémoire for a sequence of devotional prayers, are a widely recognized symbol of Catholicism and a source of strength. And many take genuine sustenance from Catholic theology’s concept of the Church Militant and the tradition of regarding the rosary as a weapon against Satan.”
The Atlantic contributor gave a wide variety of examples of how the modern association between rosaries and fighting men has become marketable to a niche audience, noting that “radical-traditional Catholics sustain their own cottage industry of goods and services,” such as one store that “sells replicas of the rosaries issued to American soldiers during the First World War as ‘combat rosaries.'”
The Swiss Guard, who have been protecting the Vatican in their iconic 16th-century armor and uniforms for centuries, were also addressed, as Panneton recounted: “In 2016, the pontifical Swiss Guard accepted a donation of combat rosaries; during a ceremony at the Vatican, their commander described the gift as ‘the most powerful weapon that exists on the market.'”
He also called out a member of the clergy, stating that “Bishop Thomas Olmsted of Phoenix issued an apostolic exhortation calling for a renewal of traditional conceptions of Catholic masculinity titled ‘Into the Breach,’ which led the Knights of Columbus, an influential fraternal order, to produce a video series promoting Olmsted’s ideas.”
Warning that Catholics are a “growing contingent of Christian nationalism,” Panneton commented that “Catholic imagery now blends freely with staple alt-right memes that romanticize ancient Rome or idealize the traditional patriarchal family.”
He also commented that as the divide between American Catholics and Protestants has waned, they have become “cemented in common causes such as hostility toward abortion-rights advocates.”

I can sum up the Trump documents very succinctly–the documents show that there was a coordinated effort by the CIA, the FBI and DOD starting in the summer of 2015 to interfere in the 2016 election. Part of this effort involved using NSA produced intelligence. Oliver Stone’s movie, Snowden, has a scene that accurately describes what NSA was collecting and how it could be used:

When the conspiracy started in the summer of 2015 to interfere in the 2016 election on behalf of Hillary Clinton by the leadership of the CIA, the FBI and DOD, Donald Trump was not the only target.
Few believed at the time that Trump had a snowball’s chance in the raging inferno of Hell to win the nomination, much less the Presidency. There were active searches for compromising intel on all of the leading Republican candidates, including Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and on Bernie Sanders.
The CIA, with the knowledge of the Director of National Intelligence, worked with British counterparts starting in the summer of 2015 to collect intelligence on Republican and at least one Democrat candidate. John Brennan was probably hoping that his proactive steps to help the Hillary Clinton campaign would ensure him taking over as DNI in the new Clinton Administration.
Regardless of motives, the CIA enlisted the British intelligence community to start gathering intelligence on most major Republican candidates and on Bernie Sanders. This initial phase of intelligence gathering goes beyond opposition research. The information being gathered identified the key personnel in each campaign and identified the people outside the United States receiving their calls, texts and emails.
This information was turned into intelligence reports that then were passed back to the United States intel community as “liaison reporting.” This was not put into normal classified channels. This intelligence was put into a SAP, i.e. a Special Access Program.
This initial phase of intelligence collection produced a great volume of intelligence that allowed analysts to identify key personnel and the people they were communicating with overseas. You don’t have to have access to intelligence information to understand this.
Let me give you one example of how intelligence intercepts were used to target specific individuals. Ask yourself, “how did George Papadopoulos get on the radar?”
Papadopoulos was living in London and communicating with Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s campaign manager at the time. Those communications were intercepted by the UK’s GCHQ and passed, through liaison channels, to the NSA.
That information was used in turn by the CIA and the FBI, working with British Intelligence, to ensnare Popadopoulos. He was offered a job, for example, at a firm tied to British Intelligence and subsequently introduced to Joseph Mifsud.
I am confident that some of the documents Trump has show that George Papadopoulos was identified as a possible target by the fall of 2015. Initially, his name was “masked.” But we now know that many people on the Trump campaign had their names “unmasked.” You cannot unmask someone unless their name is in an intelligence report.
Here is another example, we also know that Felix Sater–a longtime business associate of Donald Trump and an FBI informant since December 1998 (he was signed up by Andrew Weismann)–initiated the proposal to do a Trump Tower in Moscow. Don’t take my word for it, that’s what Robert Mueller reported:
[quote] In the late summer of 2015, the Trump Organization received a new inquiry about pursuing a Trump Tower project in Moscow. In approximately September 2015, Felix Sater . . . contacted Cohen (i.e., Michael Cohen) on behalf of I.C. Expert Investment Company (I.C. Expert), a Russian real-estate development corporation controlled by Andrei Vladimirovich Rozov.
Sater had known Rozov since approximately 2007 and, in 2014, had served as an agent on behalf of Rozov during Rozov’s purchase of a building in New York City.
Sater later contacted Rozov and proposed that I.C. Expert pursue a Trump Tower Moscow project in which I.C. Expert would license the name and brand from the Trump Organization but construct the building on its own. Sater worked on the deal with Rozov and another employee of I.C. Expert. (see page 69 of the Mueller Report). [end quote]
Sater’s communication with Rozov were intercepted by western intelligence agencies–GCHQ and NSA. I do not know which agency put it into an intel report, but it was put into the system.
The Sater FD-1023 will tell us whether or not Sater did this at the direction of the FBI or acted on his own initiative. The key point is that the “bait” to do something with the Russians came from a registered FBI informant.
By December of 2015, the Hillary Campaign decided to use the Russian angle on Donald Trump. Thanks to Wikileaks we have Campaign Manager John Podesta’s email exchange in December 2015 with Democratic operative Brent Budowsky:
“That’s good, sooner it’s clarified the better, and the stronger the better,” Budowski replies, later adding: “Best approach is to slaughter Donald for his bromance with Putin, but not go too far betting on Putin re Syria.”
By late December, the intelligence/law enforcement operation targeted Donald Trump as it became clear that he was likely to win the Republican nomination.
I believe Donald Trump is holding trump cards that irrefutably show that the CIA, the FBI and DOD were communicating in Top Secret channels about these activities and that the coordination also included foreign intelligence personnel in at least the UK and Australia.
I hope this helps you understand the desperation of the U.S. national security agencies to keep this stuff hidden. The revelations, if they come, will be devastating.

Americans angry about the FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Florida estate and insecurity at the southern border pose an increased risk of domestic terrorism, the Biden administration warned in a series of bulletins sent to federal and local law enforcement over the weekend.
The warnings from the Justice Department, the Homeland Security Department, the FBI and Customs and Border Protection used nearly identical language and were issued after one man tried to attack an FBI office in Cincinnati and a driver crashed into a barrier with his car on fire at the U.S. Capitol before committing suicide.
“Last night, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice issued a Joint Intelligence Bulletin, accessible via the Homeland Security Information Network, providing information on the potential for domestic violent extremists to carry out attacks on federal, state, and local law enforcement and government personnel or facilities,” CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus wrote in a memo to 60,000 employees.
The warnings were being “shared in light of an increase in threats and acts of violence, including armed encounters, against law enforcement, judiciary, and government personnel, in reaction to the FBI’s recent execution of a court authorized search warrant in Palm Beach, Florida,” Magnus wrote.
“Since the search, the FBI and DHS have observed an increase in violent threats posted on social media against federal officials and facilities.”
A senior law enforcement official told Just the News that some federal police agencies were asked last week to monitor social media accounts of known political influencers for signs of agitation and FBI officials reached out to some social media platforms frequented by conservatives in the aftermath of Cincinnati attack, in which the perpetrator was killed.
Most of the warnings cited the Aug. 8 FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound as a possible motivation for violence. Some, like Magnus’ memo, also mentioned concerns about illegal immigration, suggesting such concerns weren’t warranted even though scores of members of Congress have expressed concern about border security under President Biden, officials said.
“As described in the June 7 National Terrorism Advisory System Bulletin, some domestic violent extremists have expressed grievances related to the false perception that the U.S. government is not working to maintain security along the U.S.-Mexico border,” Magnus wrote.
“And there remains increased risk of domestic violent extremists relying on these grievances to justify violence against law enforcement officials involved in the enforcement of border security.”
The memos said they had no specific or credible threats [as usual-Kj] but urged federal and local law enforcement to use heightened awareness.
“Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our workforce and the security of federal facilities, we are encouraging you to remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings and to exercise caution as you go about your daily routine,” one memo said.

The search warrant for the raid on Mar A Lago called for a sweeping confiscation of every single scrap of paper that ever came into the White House between January 20, 2017 and January 20, 2021.
I understand from Andrew McCarthy that there were a total of 45 boxes hoovered by the Feebs from Mar A Lago, of which 11 were considered “classified” government documents, a point carefully avoided by the Mockingbird Media because such a broad, general search warrant like this certainly goes against the Fourth Amendment.

Trump Requests Return of Materials Seized in FBI Raid Via Social Media

Former President Donald Trump chastised the FBI Sunday morning for seizing “‘executive privileged material” in its raid of the Mar-a-Lago resort, and subsequently demanded the agency return his materials as soon as possible.
In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged ‘attorney-client’ material, and also ‘executive’ privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken.”
Trump continued, “By copy of this TRUTH, I respectfully request that these documents be immediately returned to the location from which they were taken. Thank you!”
Various reports have speculated on the items removed from Mar-a-Lago Monday — three days after the FBI/Department of Justice obtained a search warrant, signed by magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart — outside of the 11 sets of potentially classified materials.
The unsealed search warrant, which became public Friday night, revealed agents were authorized to seize any documents or records with classified markings or related to the “transmission of national defense information or classified material.”

As evidence surfaces about what FBI agents seized during the raid of former President Donald Trump’s estate in Mar-a-Lago, new questions about the real focus of the investigation and new avenues for legal challenges are bubbling to the surface.
The Justice Department informed Trump’s team Monday that agents gathered the former president’s passports and are obligated to return them, and that officials are also reviewing seized materials that may be covered by various privileges, multiple sources told Just the News.
DOJ has designated a process for separating materials that could be covered by executive privilege or attorney client privilege and hopes to return such memos to Trump within a couple of weeks, the sources said.
“Occasionally a warrant collection can grab things outside the scope authorized by the court and the department is now following a procedure we would for any person affected this way,” one official said Monday night. [After DOJ illegally copies every single piece of paper hauled out of Mar A Lago, especially if it relates somehow to January 6. – Kj]
Kevin Brock, who served as FBI assistant director for intelligence under former Director Robert Mueller, said the new revelations raise legitimate questions about over-collection of evidence that could lead to significant legal challenges.
Trump lawyers are weighing whether to ask a federal court to name a special master to review sensitive documents and protect the president’s 4th amendment, executive and attorney-client privileges.
“Trump’s attorneys could have a runway to argue the scope of the search is overly broad,” Brock told Just the News. “Search warrants normally require a level of specificity that seems to be missing in this warrant. Specificity is important in order to protect 4th Amendment rights from exuberant government overreach designed to find whatever they can.”
Brock said he was particularly troubled FBI agents felt comfortable seizing a record of Trump’s pardon of longtime friend Roger Stone, which the bureau disclosed in court documents.
He said it suggested the raid may have something more to do with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot probe, where Stone has been a figure of interest, than an investigation into classified records.
“The president’s authority to grant pardon and clemency is clear but what isn’t clear is why the retention of a clemency order would be considered illegal,” Brock said.
“The fact that it is highlighted on the receipt list, and that it has to do with Stone, will likely provide ammunition to Republicans who are asserting that the search was less about a document dispute and more about a hunt for derogatory Jan. 6 information.”
The revelations came on a day when DOJ also opposed requests to unseal the FBI affidavit explaining the motive for the search, arguing such a move could imperil this and other investigations.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, whose conservative watchdog regularly sues the government to release documents and is seeking to compel release of documents in the Trump search, said the government’s first court filings appear to describe an overly broad search that went far beyond classified records.
“They were engaged in a fishing expedition, and the warrant itself wasn’t about classified information, though it mentioned it,” Fitton told Just the News. “It talked about all sort of other documents. It basically gave the FBI carte blanche to anything they wanted from the Trump home.
“And the fact that a judge signed off on it is very troubling,” he added.
Brock agreed that the search warrant included a “stunningly broad scope” of targeted evidence and warned it could have a chilling effect on past and future presidents.
“This apparently makes a novel legal assertion that any presidential record kept by a former president is against the law,” he explained. “You have to wonder what the other living former presidents think about that. They have the right and, apparently, clear desire to remain silent.”

The rosary, of course, is a string of beads or knots that are used by Catholics as they do a series of prayers.
In the article titled, “How the Rosary Became an Extremist Symbol,” Panneton claimed that “just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or ‘rad trad’) Catholics.”
Panneton claimed that “on this extremist fringe, rosary beads have been woven into a conspiratorial politics and absolutist gun culture. These armed radical traditionalists have taken up a spiritual notion that the rosary can be a weapon in the fight against evil and turned it into something dangerously literal.”
The writer claimed that the “the rosary—in these hands—is anything but holy.”

In the document, the DHS warns of a heightened security risk for federal agents, specifically FBI agents, because of the Mar-a-Lago raid.
In addition to listing potential warning signs for Domestic Violent Extremists [DVEs], the DHS predicts that violent threats may continue to escalate this year.
“The threats we have observed, to date, underscore that DVEs [Domestic Violent Extremists] may view the 2022 midterm election as an additional flashpoint around which to escalate threats against perceived ideological opponents, including federal law enforcement personnel,” the document reads.
The document also appears to state that DVE ideology tends to be aligned with the ideas that “government overreach” and “election fraud” are a threat to the country.

“As a result of recent activities, we assess that potential targets of DVE violence moving forward could include law enforcement, judicial officials, individuals implicated in conspiracy theories, and perceived ideological opponents who challenge their worldview.”
The leaked material concludes with a warning to agents that the public should not know this information.

Pennsylvania man arrested after allegedly making online threats against FBI agents
Authorities have arrested a Pennsylvania man for making violent threats against FBI agents online.
The Blaze
The Department of Justice announced that Adam Bies, 46, was arrested late Friday in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Bies has been charged with influencing, impeding, or retaliating against federal law enforcement officers.
FBI agents said Bies allegedly made multiple violent threats against law enforcement on the social media website Gab in the days after the FBI raid at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, according to court documents.
In social media posts, Bies allegedly stated: “My only goal is to kill more of them before I drop” and “If You Work For The FBI Then You Deserve To Die”.
“Every single piece of [expletive] who works for the FBI in any capacity, from the director down to the janitor who cleans their [expletive] toilets deserves to die. You’ve declared war on us and now it’s open season on YOU,” Bies allegedly wrote in an August 10 post.
“HEY FEDS. We the people cannot WAIT to water the trees of liberty with your blood. I’ll be waiting for you to kick down my door,” he allegedly wrote in another post.
If convicted, Bies faces a maximum of 10 years in prison, the Justice Department said.
The arrest comes after Attorney General Merrick Garland said last week that law enforcement officials were monitoring violent threats made against top DOJ officials in the wake of the FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago.
The FBI and Department of Homeland Security also reportedly circulated a joint intelligence bulletin warning of a spike in threats against federal law enforcement officials, NBC News reported Friday.
Recent posts made online included “a threat to place a so-called dirty bomb in front of FBI Headquarters and issuing general calls for ‘civil war’ and ‘armed rebellion,'” according to the bulletin.
Users on pro-Trump internet forums erupted with outrage after Trump confirmed the FBI executed a search at his home on Aug. 8 and seized materials, including alleged classified documents, that he allegedly took with him from the White House when he left office in 2021.
An Ohio man was killed in a shootout with police Thursday after he fired a nail gun into the FBI Cincinnati headquarters. The man, Ricky Walter Shiffer, had attended the Jan. 6, 2021, protest at the U.S. Capitol, officials said.
Officials fear the online threats may escalate into real-world violence. FBI Director Christopher Wray has criticized the words used to attack agents, saying, “Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re upset with.”
Trump told Fox News in an interview Monday that the “temperature has to be brought down.”
“People are so angry at what is taking place,” Trump said, adding that his aides offered the Department of Justice “whatever we can do to help” their investigation into his handling of classified materials.
“There has never been a time like this where law enforcement has been used to break into the house of a former president of the United States, and there is tremendous anger in the country — at a level that has never been seen before, other than during very perilous times,” Trump said.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe decided the best way to deal with this was to bring on former FBI agent Peter Strzok, best known for texts about the “insurance policy” that was supposed to keep Trump from assuming office in 2016.

Clinton’s correspondence at the State Department came under scrutiny because of her use of a private email server for official governmental communications.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation says that the threat of a civil war is increasing. A bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security and FBI was sent to law enforcement agencies warning of increased threats following the FBI’s execution of the search warrant at former President Trump’s Florida estate.
The DHS and FBI also said that a threat involved a “dirty bomb” that would be placed in front of FBI headquarters.
In the days since the warrant at Mar-a-Lago was executed, the FBI and DHS have allegedly seen an increase in “violent threats” against law enforcement, judiciary, and government personnel, including a particular threat to “place a so-called Dirty Bomb in front of FBI headquarters,” according to the bulletin.
This could be a glaring red warning that there could be a false flag event coming to set up a civil war. If the rulers cannot and do not succeed, they will invent a civil war and commit any number of false flags to make sure people believe it’s happening.
According to Fox News, the bulletin states that many of the threats include references to the claim that the 2020 election was stolen, in addition to other perceived claims of government overreach.
Fox News: “The bulletin also cites an incident on August 11 when an individual “attempted to forcibly enter the FBI Cincinnati field office.” The individual, Ricky Shiffer Jr., allegedly fled from the scene when officers responded and then entered a standoff with law enforcement officers and FBI agents. This feels very much like the U.S. is being set up for a civil war. Mike Adams of Natural News is also warning to be aware of all of this:

When it comes to the National Archives, history has a funny way of repeating itself. And legal experts say a decade-old case over audio tapes that Bill Clinton once kept in his sock drawer may have significant impact over the FBI search of Melania Trump’s closet and Donald Trump’s personal office.
The case in question is titled Judicial Watch v. National Archives and Records Administration and it involved an effort by the conservative watchdog to compel the Archives to forcibly seize hours of audio recordings that Clinton made during his presidency with historian Taylor Branch.
For pop culture, the case is most memorable for the revelation that the 42nd president for a time stored the audio tapes in his sock drawer at the White House. The tapes became the focal point of a 2009 book that Branch wrote.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington D.C. ultimately rejected Judicial Watch’s suit by concluding there was no provision in the Presidential Records Act to force the National Archives to seize records from a former president.
But Jackson’s ruling — along with the Justice Department’s arguments that preceded it — made some other sweeping declarations that have more direct relevance to the FBI’s decision to seize handwritten notes and files Trump took with him to Mar-a-Lago.
The most relevant is that a president’s discretion on what are personal vs. official records is far-reaching and solely his, as is his ability to declassify or destroy records at will.
“Under the statutory scheme established by the PRA, the decision to segregate personal materials from Presidential records is made by the President, during the President’s term and in his sole discretion,” Jackson wrote in her March 2012 decision, which was never appealed.
“Since the President is completely entrusted with the management and even the disposal of Presidential records during his time in office, it would be difficult for this Court to conclude that Congress intended that he would have less authority to do what he pleases with what he considers to be his personal records,” she added.

The judge noted a president could destroy any record he wanted during his tenure and his only responsibility was to inform the Archives.
As to whether records a president concluded were personal can be forcibly seized after he leaves office, the court concluded it was unreasonable to force NARA to go get the tapes
“Because the audiotapes are not physically in the government’s possession, defendant submits that it would be required to seize them directly from President Clinton in order to assume custody and control over them,” Jackson noted.
“Defendant considers this to be an ‘extraordinary request’ that is unfounded, contrary to the PRA’s express terms, and contrary to traditional principles of administrative law. The Court agrees.”

Jackson also concluded that a decision to challenge a president’s decision lies solely with the National Archives and can’t be reviewed by a court. If the Archives wants to challenge a decision, that agency and the attorney general can initiate an enforcement mechanism under the law, but it is a civil procedure and has no criminal penalty, she noted.
The search warrant the FBI enforced sought two types of records: classified materials and records created during the Trump presidency. Trump has been adamant the records he took to Mar-a-Lago were both declassified and deemed personal by him.
Some government lawyers reached out privately to Just the News in recent days questioning the use of the FBI to collect presidential records, citing Jackson’s ruling and suggesting it was a civil and not criminal matter where deference to Trump is required by law.
On the classification issue, both Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama signed executive orders — which remain in force to this day — declaring that presidents have sweeping authority to declassify secrets and do not have to follow the mandatory declassification procedures all other government officials do.
The Jackson ruling and the declassification powers have left some experts worried the FBI raid was heavy-handed under the current laws.
Kevin Brock, former assistant FBI director for intelligence, told Just the News the bureau’s search warrant was overly broad and went beyond what the FBI manual for agents recommended. “Specificity is important in order to protect fourth amendment rights from exuberant government overreach designed to find whatever they can,” he told Just the News.
Brock added he did not believe DOJ and FBI had authority to criminalize the retention of presidential records.
The warrant “apparently makes a novel legal assertion that any presidential record kept by a former president is against the law,” Brock said. “You have to wonder what the other living former presidents think about that. They have the right and, apparently, clear desire to remain silent.”
Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch who was on the losing end of the Clinton sock drawer case, said he believes Jackson’s ruling could have a profound impact on the coming legal battles over the Trump search.
“The government, the lawyer for the Archives, said, ‘You know what? If documents are in the former President’s hands, where they’re presumptively personal, we just, you know, we presume they’re personal,'” Fitton said.
“The Justice Department previously had told us in response to a question about Bill Clinton: ‘Tough luck, it’s his.’ But they changed their mind for Donald Trump?” he asked. “… The law and court decision suggests that Trump is right. And frankly, based on this analysis, Trump should get every single document they took from him back. It’s all personal records.”

3 Previous Presidential Records Act Controversies

Although an FBI raid on the home of a former president had been unprecedented until this month, clashes over compliance with a law called the Presidential Records Act are nothing new.
The 1978 law, signed by President Jimmy Carter, was in response to fallout from the Watergate scandal, when former President Richard Nixon tried to claim that all his White House records belonged to him.
The law specifies that “the United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of presidential records.”
Long before enactment of the Presidential Records Act, President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s records were the first to go to the National Archives and Records Administration for safekeeping. Before that, presidents took their records with them when leaving the White House.
It’s not likely President Donald Trump could be prosecuted for a violation of the Presidential Records Act, presidential historian Craig Shirley told The Daily Signal in an interview.
“Before FDR, every president just took their records home; some kept them around the house, others used [them] for the fireplace,” Shirley said. “Let’s face it, keeping papers that are supposed to be in presidential archives is akin to not returning an overdue library book.”
Here are three past controversies involving presidents’ records.
1. Obama Foundation Supplants Archives
When President Barack Obama left office in January 2017, some 30 million pages of documents from his administration were moved to a warehouse near Chicago that previously was the site of a furniture store.
The Obama Foundation announced a plan to digitize all of the records ahead of building a $500 million Obama Presidential Center.
The major difference between the Obama center and previous presidential libraries is that it would be run by the Obama Foundation, a nonprofit established by the former president and former first lady Michelle Obama.
Going back to Herbert Hoover, the National Archives and Records Administration has maintained presidential libraries and records.
Obama’s plan caused some angst among historians, The New York Times reported.
“The absence of a true Obama presidential library will have the effect of discouraging serious and potentially critical research into the Obama presidency,” David Garrow, a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and Obama biographer, told the Times.
Timothy Naftali, a former director of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, said the Obama move “opens the door to a truly terrible Trump library.”
The day after the FBI’s raid on his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, Trump publicly brought up the documents held by Obama.
“President Barack Hussein Obama kept 33 million pages of documents, much of them classified. How many of them pertained to nuclear? Word is, lots!” Trump said in an Aug. 9 post on Truth Social, the social media platform launched early this year created by Trump Media & Technology Group.
This message prompted the National Archives to issue a statement Aug. 12 in response to Trump that says:
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama presidential records when President Barack Obama left office in 2017, in accordance with the Presidential Records Act (PRA).
NARA moved approximately 30 million pages of unclassified records to a NARA facility in the Chicago area where they are maintained exclusively by NARA. Additionally, NARA maintains the classified Obama presidential records in a NARA facility in the Washington, D.C., area. As required by the [Presidential Records Act], former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores the presidential records of his administration.
2. Clinton’s Presidential Library
Former President Bill Clinton’s presidential library in Little Rock, Arkansas, delayed the release of tens of thousands of pages of records in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential race in which Hillary Clinton was the expected Democrat front-runner.
The delay by the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum came with the help of Obama White House lawyers, Politico reported in February 2014.
The episode led to Congress’ passing a law that year to curb White House prerogatives on secrecy, which Obama signed.
The legislation specifically updated the Presidential Records Act to direct that no one use personal email to conduct White House business.
3. Bush and Post-9/11 Action
In November 2001, in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President George W. Bush issued an executive order to limit access to presidential records going back to the Reagan administration. The order included the records of his father, Ronald Reagan’s successor as president.
The 12-year shield under the Presidential Records Act protecting records from going public after a president leaves office had expired for the Reagan administration.
But Bush’s order resealed the presidential records maintained by the National Archives and required a “demonstrated, specific need” for documents to overcome a past president’s assertion of executive privilege to prevent their release.

Judicial Watch on Wednesday filed its counterargument to the DOJ’s request that a judge keep sealed the warrant affidavit from the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida estate.
The non-profit watchdog group filed a motion earlier this month asking that Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who issued the warrant, unseal it and the related documents. Reinhart ordered the DOJ to respond to the motion, which it did, asking that he keep the affidavit sealed, arguing that its release would undercut the ongoing investigation.
Judicial Watch then issued its reply, saying “[t]he public interest in the contents of the affidavit cannot be understated.”
“The secrecy surrounding the search warrant, and the affidavit that led to its issuance, has caused the nation to convulse with intrigue and harmful speculation that will only increase the longer the truth is kept from the public,” the group continued.
“The heat must be replaced with light, and soon. Maintaining the seal will only fuel more speculation, uncertainty, leaks, and political intrigue and it will also serve to undermine public confidence in the fair administration of justice and equal protection of the law.”
“Considering the gravity of this unprecedented action by the government, at a minimum, the Court should review the affidavit line-by-line to determine what information may be disclosed and what information may be redacted to balance the competing concerns at issue,” it went on.
In the filing, Judicial Watch further highlighted that former President Donald Trump himself has called for the release of the affidavit and its related documents.
“There is no way to justify the unannounced RAID of Mar-a-Lago, the home of the 45th President of the United States … by a very large number of gun toting FBI Agents, and the Department of ‘Justice’ but, in the interest of TRANSPARENCY, I call for the immediate release of the completely Unredacted Affidavit pertaining to this horrible and shocking BREAK-IN,” Trump posted Monday on Truth Social.
Reinhart declined to render an immediate judgment on the affidavit’s release on Tuesday, instead scheduling a hearing for Thursday in which both sides will present in-person arguments.

The Biden Department of Justice must release part of the affidavit that provided probable cause for the federal ransacking of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on August 8. Katie had the story earlier this afternoon.
It’s a little shocking since most were probably expecting the judge to side with the federal government, who moved to block its full release citing damage to the investigation’s integrity and potential risk to the witnesses involved.
Every update about this raid has done nothing to cast off the stench that this wasn’t a politically motivated hit job. Spencer has written extensively about the judge, Bruce Reinhart. The latter issued this ruling regarding his anti-Trump leanings and connections to the deceased financier, Democratic Party pal, and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Yet, one phrase should cause concern and raise many red flags. Judge Reinhart said he would afford the government “a full and fair opportunity” to make redactions. We all know where this is going, and Mike Davis, a former law clerk to Justice Neil Gorsuch, did not hold back with how the redaction process will be handled.
It will hide “the fact that Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Biden Justice Department obtained—from a clearly biased judge—an unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful home-raid warrant of, then did a fishing expedition on, their boss’s political enemy.”
Where’s the lie? Expect a sea of black ink to be plastered all over the pages that have been ordered to be released.

German Official Trashes Cost of Living Protesters as “Enemies of the State”

A top German official has trashed people who may be planning to protest against energy blackouts as “enemies of the state” and “extremists” who want to overthrow the government.
The interior minister of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Herbert Reul (CDU), says that anti-mandatory vaxx and anti-lockdown demonstrators have found a new cause – the energy crisis.
In an interview with German news outlet NT, Reul revealed that German security services were keeping an eye on “extremists” who plan to infiltrate the protests and stage violence, with the unrest being planned via the Telegram messenger app, which German authorities have previously tried to ban.
“You can already tell from those who are out there,” said Reul. “The protesters no longer talk about coronavirus or vaccination. But they are now misusing people’s worries and fears in other fields. (…) It’s almost something like new enemies of the state that are establishing themselves.”
Despite the very real threat of potential blackouts, power grid failures and gas shortages, Reul claimed such issues were feeding “conspiracy theory narratives.”
However, it’s no “conspiracy theory” that Germans across the country have been panic buying stoves, firewood and electric heaters as the government tells them thermostats will be limited to 19C in public buildings and that sports arenas and exhibition halls will be used as ‘warm up spaces’ this winter to help freezing citizens who are unable to afford skyrocketing energy bills.
As Remix News reports, blaming right-wing conspiracy theorists for a crisis caused by Germany’s sanctions on Russia and its suicidal dependence on green energy is pretty rich.
“Reul, like the country’s federal interior minister, Nancy Faeser, is attempting to tie right-wing ideology and protests against Covid-19 policies to any potential protests in the winter.”

Indeed, energy shortages and the cost of living crisis are issues that are of major concern to everyone, no matter where they are on the political spectrum.
To claim that people worried about heating their homes and putting food on the table this winter are all “enemies of the state” is an utter outrage.
As we highlighted last week, the president of the Thuringian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Stephan Kramer, said energy crisis riots would make anti-lockdown unrest look like a “children’s birthday party.”
“Mass protests and riots are just as conceivable as concrete acts of violence against things and people, as well as classic terrorism to overthrow it,” Kramer told ZDF.
