What is “thanksgiving”? Taking into consideration that everyone in America who is a believer, and everyone who recognizes God as Creator, today turns to God with hymns of praise, it follows that Thanksgiving Day has a religious character.
For us Orthodox Christians, thanksgiving is our testimony to God’s presence in the life of the world and of human beings.
Thanksgiving is the profoundly religious response of our hearts, testifying with reverent joy and trembling that the Lord participates in our personal lives through His majesty, glory, and love.
Thanksgiving is our response to God’s gift. It is our joyful recognition of the mercy and goodness that God has shown to us in our lives.
Finally, thanksgiving – a feeling of gratitude – is the foundation of our continuously renewed life in Jesus Christ, our Lord.
The great Apostle Paul teaches us: Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks [1 Thessalonians 5:17-18].
This feeling of thanksgiving to God is the primary, basic feeling in which a child should be brought up from the earliest age, in order to become an emotionally healthy person who is inclined towards, and capable of, spiritual development.
It is with these feelings and these wishes that we turn today to the Almighty with hymns of praise. Amen.

Israel adding 600 graves to military cemetery, Army Radio reports

The Israeli occupation army will add 600 new graves for soldiers in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, Army Radio has reported.
The station continued: “An area of 7.7 dunams on Mount Herzl will be transferred to the Ministry of Defence in order to provide a place to bury the army’s dead.”
Yesterday, Channel 14 reported that within 48 hours, 11 Israeli officers and soldiers were killed and more than ten others were injured in battles in Gaza and Lebanon.
Nearly 800 Israeli occupation forces have been killed since October last year, according to figures released by Israel. Military experts believe the apartheid state is covering up the true soldier death toll.

Military and strategic expert, Brigadier General Elias Hanna, has stressed that Israel is concealing the true death toll among its soldiers as well as the circumstances surrounding how, where and when they died.
In his analysis of military developments in southern Lebanon, Hanna noted that the strategy employed by the Israeli occupation army accounts for the discrepancies between its reported figures and those claimed by Lebanese Hezbollah.
He pointed out that numerous Israeli special forces and infantry personnel have been killed in southern Lebanon, indicating that the Israeli army typically conducts reconnaissance missions before deploying armoured units.
Yesterday, Israeli media reported that seven soldiers were killed after a building collapsed in a village in southern Lebanon.
He emphasised that changes in the geographical landscape necessitate a shift in combat strategy, explaining that the Israeli 36th Division is currently engaged in advancing the battle against Hezbollah into the second line of Lebanese villages.
Hanna indicated that Aitaroun, Bint Jbeil and Ainata are pivotal points of interest and suggested that if the occupation army successfully reaches these areas, it would signify a transition to the second phase of its military operation in southern Lebanon, although control over the region would not be guaranteed.

If Hezbollah withdraws back to the Litani River, as the treaty demands, they will have lost all their borderline tunnels and all the advantages they currently have and have developed over the years.

The offensive against Aleppo initiated by Turkish-allied Islamists from Hayat Tahir Al-Sham (a re-branded Al Qaeda that has made common cause with ISIS) and the US-allied Syrian National Army is the consequence of a strategic plan between the Israelis and Turks, backed by the US, to cut off the supply route from Iran to Lebanon for Hezbollah, and threaten to destabilize/topple the Assad government, forcing Russia to divert resources from Ukraine to salvage their position in Syria.
Ukraine has provided advisors to the anti-Assad militants on drone warfare. Israel has apparently extended its explosive pager/radio scheme into Syria as well, disrupting Syrian tactical command and control at a critical moment in the fighting.
Syria had largely demobilized, and Hezbollah had mostly returned to Lebanon. Iranian-backed Iraqi militias are ill prepared to contain this assault.
It is highly likely Aleppo will fall to the pro-Turkish Islamist forces. There will most likely be a concerted effort, led by Russia and Iran, to salvage the situation in Syria.
This will take time.
This offensive may threaten the ceasefire in Lebanon.
The biggest loser in all of this is Turkey and its President, Recep Erdogan.
This offensive could not have been carried out without close cooperation and coordination with Israel and the US.
Erdogan’s critical words against Israel have been exposed as empty rhetoric.
Erdogan has once again betrayed Russia.
And his support for Palestine has beed exposed as fraudulent in every way.
Russia and Iran will stabilize Syria.
This will take months.
Syria and its allies will destroy the Islamist stronghold in Idlib.
This will take years.
The Iran-Hezbollah supply line will be restored/maintained.
Israel will be defeated.
And the US will withdraw from Syria, probably in mid-2025.
And Turkey will continue to betray everyone it does business with, because Erdogan stands only for Turkey.

Israel wanted a ceasefire because Hezbollah defeaed them on the ground. They are now going to their 2011 plan to overthrow Assad and defeat Hezbollah by shutting off the weapons flow to the resistance from Iran through Syria.
Hezbollah knows this; that’s why it is once again moving into Syria to fight the proxy terrorists. Russia knows too. The ceasefire in Lebanon will not hold for long if Hezbollah feels its existence is threatened.

The terror offensive in Syria by Al Nusra and Al Qaeda factions are proof that Hezbollah defeated Israel the past two months. Israel knows it cannot defeat Hezbollah so it is attempting to cut off all arms to Lebanon, as Syria is the land bridge by which Iran arms Hezbollah.
This is a continuation of zionist/neocon policy that began after Hezbollah soundly whipped israel in 2006. The decision was made then to overthrow the Assad government using militant terror proxies. It failed. This current battle is a continuation of that conflict.

It’s probably best not to antagonize Rabbi Glickman, Ken. Rabbis… they’re a tricky lot. Trust me.
I can tell you a story from my younger days. In the mid 70’s I was living in Miami. Things were going pretty good for me, but I had trouble finding a girlfriend. A buddy of mine gave me the number of a rabbi he knew who could give me a “blessing” – for $199.99. That’s like $1500 today. He said the guy had blessed him and it worked out great.
So, I called the rabbi and told him I’d like a blessing that would make women want me. He said, “no problem” and I made an appointment to see him in a few days.
So, I went to see him at the appointed time and place. We shook hands, I and I handed him the $199.99. And told him to keep the change. I remember he looked at me kinda’ funny. Then he said it’d only take a couple of minutes to bless me and that he guaranteed women would want me.
He then began chanting in some weird language and waved what looked like a chicken over my head. After a couple of minutes of doing that he said the blessing had been imparted and promised me again that women would want me. And gave me that funny look again. But I didn’t feel any different than when I walked in.
That very night though a girl I knew from work called me and said she needed me and could I come over to her apartment. Of course, I said yes.
But it turned out she didn’t need me the way I thought she would. She needed me to jump her car so she could go out and meet some friends at a restaurant. She didn’t even offer to pay me for my time.
When I called the rabbi up to tell him that wasn’t the kind of blessing I wanted I got a “this number has been disconnected” message.

Lebanon has very complicated factional politics aligned between the three main religions and their ethnic enclaves — Sunni & Shia Islam, and Catholic-Maronite and Orthodox Christian communities and their historical animosities, complicated further by pro-West Zionism & pro-Syrian Resistance Axis sympathies, which Hezbollah has to navigate within and around, for they, too, are chiefly a parliamentary political party with government “portfolios” and functions of their own on the national level.
The armed paramilitary wing of Hezbollah, inclusive of its military-security special operations al-Hajj Radwan Force, is not an unusual party formation in that the other political party factions also have their (officially unarmed) self-defense militias, particularly those traditionally derived from the Lebanese Front, which was a coalition of mainly right-wing Lebanese Nationalist parties formed in 1976 by majority Christian groups during the Lebanese Civil War.
It was intended to act as a reaction force to the Lebanese National Movement (LNM) of Kamal Jumblatt and other left-wing allies. The Lebanese Front was largely driven by the ultra-nationalist Maronite Christians, once allied to Israel and Ariel Sharon’s stooges who conducted the 1982 Sabra & Shatilla Camp Massacres of several thousand innocent Palestinian refugee women, children, and the elderly under the watchful eyes of the supervising IDF, after the PLO agreed to set down arms and leave Lebanon.
In 2000, when Israel finally withdrew from their occupation of Lebanon, rather than surrender to the amnesty conditions offered by Shi’ite Hezbollah, a portion of the Maronite Christians of the Lebanese Front retreated to Israhell, resettled, and became Israeli citizens, where they and their children still are today, nursing dreams of their own Lebanese ethno-state promised to them by their Zionist allies as far back as the 1940s.
There are still hard feelings between the Lebanese factions and sects, particularly Lebanese Front and Hezbollah, there are still committed Christian nationalists, and as said, Lebanese politics are complicated. However, with the younger generations, much has begun to change, and Israel will find fewer and few fractures to find hoping to widen the fissures in Lebanese political politics, hoping for a new civil war to exploit.
More and more among Lebanon’s Gen Z and younger Millennials, there is a growing attitude that Lebanon’s problems are for the Lebanese to fix, and that despite the political factions and infighting, the Lebanese people are one people, one nation, one blood, one soil.
This ideology was no more clearly displayed and symbolically expressed than when the Maronites of the Lebanese Force party turned out by the hundreds, perhaps thousands, and donated blood to their Hezbollah compatriots after Israel’s vile and disgusting pager and radio terrorist attack in September, virtually all of them non-combatants in such political and social roles as politicians, administrators, hospital physicians, nurses, technocrats, community workers, etc.
The leader of one of the Maronite parties defiantly declared to Israel a week or two ago after Israhell’s attacks on Southern Lebanon in the effort to destroy Hezbollah that the Jews could no longer divide and manipulate the Lebanese people, and despite political differences, his group of younger Maronites would stand up for Hezbollah.
And that’s when I learned that these Maronites had massively turned out to make blood donations to their brutally injured and maimed Hezbollah ‘enemies’ (no more) because they, the Christians and the Shia, were in solidarity, in one Lebanese blood.
I forget the name of the group, but they are a very committed Maronite Christian party who now pursues unarmed community crime prevention like the Guardian Angels of New York, and other social programs in the Lebanese Front portfolio.
From the tenor of this leader’s speech, it appears, at least, that this faction of the Lebanese Front realized the folly of trying to form their own Maronite Christian micro-ethnostate from a slice of Lebanon, and that is leverage that Israhell can no longer use for their own Greater Israhell project.
But the point to all this meandering is that Israel was put on notice that Lebanon was unifying against them and becoming harder to set against each other, and that everything that Israel does at this point just hardens the peoples around them, and around the world for that matter, against them.
The Jew cannot understand why his own lunatic, evil, selfish and self-centered criminal behavior and blood-thirsty avarice and greed is the reason the world grows to hate him and treats him with contempt and then kicks him out of its midst.
Conventional wisdom would have it that if you’ve dug a hole so deep you can’t climb out of it, it’s time to stop digging.

Here at Identity Dixie, we try not to get involved in ecclesiastical squabbles. We are very ecumenical among our Christian brothers; it is our purpose to join hands with brothers and sisters across denominational lines.
However, when we see our brothers on the Right being slandered and treated as unbelievers by the standards of modern-day Judaizers (men which had come from Jerusalem to demand conformity to Jewish customs), we have to speak up.
Let it be noted, an accusation against an ordained minister – one in good standing with his denomination – is not a light thing. I take no pleasure in addressing the issues surrounding The Antioch Declaration. You can read it here and make your own decision on its merits.
Recently, several prominent online ministers, with big media presences, have become self-appointed “Nazi hunters” among their brethren. They have doxxed good men and gotten them fired from their jobs for what they consider “wrong speak.”
They’ve even demanded another pastor excommunicate a parishioner for sharing unsavory memes, and when he would not comply, they proceeded to defame and slander him.
On this issue, they are no better than the communist and other leftists. Even worse, these once good men have become untrustworthy, squealers, tattle tellers, and weak. They are guilty of the same “sins” that the woke have been accusing everyone on the Right for a decade.
These men would rather choose their foreign pet class of pagans over their rightwing Christian brothers.
Comedically, they are the Three Stooges of the Christian reformed community. One has never met a Muslim he didn’t like, preferring Mohammedans over Christians.
Another is so petrified that Jewish power and influence will deplatform his now hemorrhaging media and publication fiefdom, he has banished those who were once his students to the ranks of unbelievers. Why? Because they will not bow to his anti-Christ idols.
The pitiful last of the Stooges is the worst offender for defamation. But, in his defense, he resides in a country in which you can be thrown in prison for not defending the post-World War II consensus.
Denial of that consensus is at the heart of the fracture. As Southerners, we are well acquainted with post-war narratives that rewrite the actual history of conflicts in favor of the victor. Our people have been defamed, adding insult to the injury after being conquered (temporarily).
We have been made the villain for defending our people, our way of life, and our Christian faith. And now there is another Reconstruction underway. But be assured, we are rising.
Perhaps, because of our sorrows, we have a soft spot in our hearts for the German people. They have been totally defamed over atrocities that occurred in a global war, a conflict that killed over fifty million people, with many atrocities on every side.
As a result, Germans have been totally deracinated and unwilling to defend their people. Thankfully, the rise of rightwing political parties, especially in the southern regions and areas spared from diversity and Western liberalism by the Soviet occupation, are giving Germans a real chance for survival.
Make no mistake, The Antioch Declaration is an attempt to destroy a masculine uprising in Christ’s Church militant. It is an attempt to decelerate the rise of serious rightwing ministers and their followers.
We are witnessing a revival of aggressive crusader-like faith among young men, discarding the passive elders that allowed Christ’s Church to be infiltrated by communists, belligerent feminists, and the sexually degenerate. God is raising up a new guard for His bride.
The irony of this declaration is its name, Antioch, a city in which Paul withstood Peter to his face for conforming to the wishes of Judaizers (Acts 15, Galatians 2).
The entire statement is meant to stop the rise of perceived antisemitism in the confessional churches, its writers hoping to gain favor among those with political power.
Several of Trump’s nominees have connections with one of these ministers, and this document is meant to deflect any criticism toward those persons. However, in the process, they are denying Christ His proper place in the affairs of men.
As Southerners, we look to our Lord Jesus Christ alone as the one who raises governments up or brings them down. In no way are we to diminish His authority, or bow to another for political advantage. We do not cotton to those who betray their brothers! Our work is bearing much fruit for Christ’s Kingdom and a Free Dixie. Press on!

The strange tale of Oliver Cromwell’s unlikely partnership with a Jew
The story of the historic relationship between the Lord Protector and Menasseh ben Israel should be better known

In February 1906, members of the Anglo-Jewish Historical Society gathered to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the readmission of Jews into England during the Protectorate of Oliver Cromwell.
The historian Lucien Wolf, the society’s founder, remarked that the gathering honoured two men: Cromwell, the “great-hearted Protector”, and Menasseh ben Israel, a “devoted Jew”.
These “twin champions of a wronged people” had formed an unlikely partnership of profound historical importance and consequence. The story should be better known.
Jews had been expelled from England and Wales in 1290 by Edward I, the culmination of decades of prejudice and hate. A small Jewish presence came and went over the following centuries: merchants and traders in the City of London, a tiny outpost in the port of Bristol, but they would not reside legally for more than 350 years.
Cromwell’s desire to see the return of Jews to England was not humanitarian but theological. According to the millenarian worldview of Cromwell and his circle, the mission of the English, an elect nation, was to convert the Jews, another chosen people, to Protestant Christianity and, in doing so, bring Christ’s return ever closer.
The Reformation had led to a renewed interest in Judaism among Protestants. One passage from the book of Romans — “and all Israel shall be saved” — inspired a great deal of speculative scholarship.
Many of England’s radical sects identified with Jews, a people who had, like them, suffered persecution and exile. And it was in England — “the only place”, in Cromwell’s words, “where religion was taught in its full purity” — that Jews would be most likely to convert to Christianity, the prerequisite of Christ’s second coming.
In 1649, soon after the execution of Charles I, Cromwell wrote to a fellow cavalry officer, Robert Hammond: “I have waited for the day to see union and right understanding between the godly people.” Cromwell then listed those who came under this banner: “Scots, English, Jews, Gentiles, Presbyterians, Independents, Anabaptists, and all.”
It is a capacious list, at least by the standards of mid-17th-century Europe, then emerging from the sectarian slaughter of the Thirty Years’ War.
Cromwell’s unlikely ally, Menasseh ben Israel, born in Lisbon in 1604, had fled the persecutions of the Inquisition to settle in Amsterdam. In his early twenties, he established a printing press.
Increasingly wealthy and influential, he became preoccupied with finding a haven for Jews enduring a new round of persecution in Eastern Europe. In 1650, he published his own work, Hope of Israel, in Latin, English and Spanish.
Its millenarian musings appealed to English Puritans, and the following year he came into contact with John Thurloe, Cromwell’s future spymaster, who was on a diplomatic mission to the United Provinces.
In October 1654, with Cromwell as Lord Protector, a Jewish delegation from Amsterdam (including Israel’s son, Samuel) arrived in London. They had two petitions which were met with approval by John Sadler, Cromwell’s private secretary and a leading Hebraic scholar.
One requested that Jews be given the opportunity to settle in England with the same rights as other residents. Menasseh came to England himself in September 1655, accompanied by Samuel and other colleagues from the Jewish community in Amsterdam. He was welcomed by Cromwell, who offered him rooms on the Strand, near the centre of government in Whitehall.
A fortnight after his arrival, Cromwell took a petition from him to his Council of State, in which he sought “graces and favours by which the re-admission of the Jews should be effected”.
The community sought protection, rights of worship, burial grounds and the freedom to trade as equals. Cromwell demanded immediate consideration of the matter.
Here was the opportunity to accelerate history. England, in its efforts to teach the true religion, would be the land most able to reveal the true faith to Jews.
Cromwell was especially well disposed to such a request because of the help given to his regime by another Jew, Simon de Caceres, who had helped the Protectorate salvage something — Jamaica — from the failed invasion of the Spanish-held island of Hispaniola.
A conference was convened at Whitehall in December and was documented by Henry Jessey, another distinguished Hebraist and preacher, who quoted Exodus 23.8 in recognition of the need to aid the Jewish people: “It is God’s will there be dealing courteously with strangers and persons in affliction.”
Emphasis was placed on persecutions in Poland, Lithuania and Prussia, and recognition was made, too, of the injustices perpetrated on Jews throughout English history: “Many cruel and inhumane injuries have formerly been done in our Nation against the Jews.”
[At the same time the Jews were crying poor mouth “affliction” to the English, they were reveling in the Paradisus Judaeorum in the Kingdom of Poland & Grand Duchy of Lithuania under their own autonomous rabbinic Council of the Four Lands and Talmudic law as a nation-within-a-nation, even accepted into the Polish nobility without even having to nominally convert to Catholicism. -Kj]
Much of the clergy maintained its opposition to readmission, so Cromwell introduced Hugh Peters to the fray, a fierce Puritan divine who had argued for the readmission of Jews as early as 1643. His arguments emphasised a shared patriarchal descent, a common humanity and the suitability of England as a base for conversion.

On December 18, the debate was opened to the public, when it became evident that prejudice ran deep. The most significant opposition came from merchants fearful of competition from the business skills, experience and networks of Jewish traders.

Crucially, there was a legal ruling that, because of the use of the royal prerogative in 1290, no law existed that forbade the return of Jews into England. Cromwell, insistent again, asked “if it be lawful, then upon what terms is it meet to receive them?”
By spring, there had been no advance on the matter. Menasseh, in despair, prayed that God would strengthen the “mind of the prince”, though there was a hopeful portent: 1656 was a millenarian date. The Flood, it was claimed, had taken place 1,656 years after Creation.
The Royalist John Evelyn writes of “an extraordinary event to happen in 1656… possibly to convert the Jews by our saviour’s visible appearance”.
It was the Protector who would prove to be the saviour. The 20 or so Jewish families in London received Cromwell’s personal assurance of their safety and that they could worship in private. Their leaders, along with Menasseh, made a formal request to Cromwell for a burial place and permission to create a synagogue.
Cromwell, frustrated by the indecision concerning the fate of the Jews, endorsed the petition on March 24 and confirmed it six months later. A burial ground was found for them in Mile End, in the grounds of what is now Queen Mary University of London, and a synagogue was created in a house on Creechurch Lane, near the Tower, which belonged to Magdalene College Cambridge, of which John Sadler was master.
The community would later establish the nearby Bevis Marks Synagogue, which still stands. The readmission of the Jews was Cromwell’s personal initiative. Sigmund Freud would not be alone among later beneficiaries in naming his son Oliver.
Menasseh died on November 20, 1657 at Middelburg, where he had returned to bury his son Samuel. Cromwell died on September 3, 1658 and there were concerns among the Jewish community at the death of the Protector — their protector.
A petition against the Jews was raised, predictably, by the City of London Corporation in 1660 soon after the Restoration of Charles II. But Jews were to be beneficiaries of a continuity between the Protectorate and the Restoration.
Charles had been aided by Jewish bankers during his exile and he preserved the Cromwellian policy. “They may enjoy the same favour as before”, he proclaimed, “as long as they demean themselves peacefully and obey the laws.” It was a rare and welcome moment of accord between Cavalier and Roundhead.

A commentator, I believe his name is Ken O’Keefe, on the Stew Peters documentary made an interesting point.
He said that people have been grabbing jews by the scruff of their necks and throwing jews out of their countries for hundreds of years.
The estimates vary from the hundreds to more than a thousand. He adds that Zionism is just a little over 100 years old.
That means the value system people cannot stand is the jewish value system, not simply the newly hatched zionist value system.
I greatly admire Scott Ritter and Colonel Macgregor and hang on their every word. They know what they are talking about.
However, it always sticks in my craw when they keep using euphemisms to refer to jews. Every time Ritter says “zionist” and Macgregor says “donor” it creeps me out. They mean jews.
It reminds me of Lyndon Johnson. He was obviously used to calling Blacks “niggers,” but in order to be politically correct he made an strained effort to call them Negroes, which did not come easily to him, and he ended up altering the English language by hatching a new hybrid word called “Nigeros.”
Its funny to hear him talk. He just can’t say Negroes. He was so racist.
Ritter needs to move on to Zieros and Macgregor ought to graduate to Doneros on their troubled path to finally calling jews, jews.
The Oxford Union debate over Israel hosted the most blistering yet calmly eviscerating, standout takedown of Israel and Zionism I’ve come across.
It is brilliant.
The speech was made by Palestinian author and life-long human rights activist Susan Abulhawa, the author of Mornings in Jenin, a story of her life set in the aftermath of the 1967 6-day War.
It’s now on my essential reading book list.
Susan Abulhawa’s speech was made at the recent Oxford Union debate, a debate which kicked out at least one Arab speaker, and actually descended into chaos as many students sought to leave the moment they became aware that a former IDF spy was present to speak on behalf of Israel in a debate where the motion presented was:
‘This House believes Israel is an apartheid state responsible for genocide’.
Jews & Zionists were apoplectic with rage when the vote came through, passing by 278 to 59 in favor. The British Zionist Jew media is appalled to the point of throwing up over the Oxford Union vote which emphatically passed the motion declaring, “This House believes Israel is an apartehied state responsible for genocide”.
Her speech is the most powerful statement I’ve ever read in response not just to the events of the last 15 months but long before that, too.
She was invited to speak in this debate at the Oxford Union and she absolutely did just that.

I will not take questions until I’m finished speaking; so please refrain from interrupting me.
Addressing the challenge of what to do about the indigenous inhabitants of the land Chaim Weizman, a Russian Jew, said to the World Zionist Congress in 1921 that Palestinians were akin to “the rocks of Judea, obstacles that had to be cleared on a difficult path.”
David Gruen, a Polish Jew, who changed his name to David Ben Gurion to sound relevant to the region, said. “We must expel Arabs and take their places”
There are thousands of such conversations among the early zionists who plotted and implemented the violent colonization of Palestine and the annihilation of her native people.
But they were only partially successful, murdering or ethnically cleansing 80% of Palestinians, which meant that 20% of us remained, an enduring obstacle to their colonial fantasies, which became the subject of their obsessions in the decades that followed, especially after conquering what remained of Palestine in 1967.
Zionists lamented our presence and they debated publicly in all circles—political, academic, social, cultural circles—regarding what do with us; what to do about the Palestinian birthrate, about our babies, which they dub a demographic threat.
Benny Morris, who was originally meant to be here, once expressed regret that Ben Gurion “did not finish the job” of getting rid of us all, which would have obviated what they refer to as the “Arab problem.”
Benjamin Netanyahu, a Polish Jew whose real name is Benjamin Mileikowsky, once bemoaned a missed opportunity during the 1989 Tiananmen Square uprising to expel large swaths of the Palestinian population “while world attention was focused on China.”
Some of their articulated solutions to the nuisance of our existence include a “break their bones” policy in the 80s and 90s, ordered by Yitzhak Rubitzov, Ukrainian Jew who changed his name to Yitzhak Rabin (for the same reasons).
That horrific policy that crippled generations of Palestinians did not succeed in making us leave. And frustrated by Palestinian resilience, a new discourse arose, especially after a massive natural gas field was discovered off the coast of Northern Gaza worth trillions of dollars.
This new discourse is echoed in the words of Colonel Efraim Eitan, who said in 2004, “we have to kill them all.”
Aaron Sofer, an Israeli so-called intellectual and political advisor, insisted in 2018 that “we have to kill and kill and kill. All day, every day.”
When I was in Gaza, I saw a little boy no more than 9 years whose hands and part of his face, had been blown off from a booby trapped can of food that soldiers had left behind for Gaza’s starving children. I later learned that they had also left poisoned food for people in Shujaiyya, and in the 1980s and 90s, Israeli soldiers had left booby trapped toys in southern Lebanon that exploded when excited children picked them up.
The harm they do is diabolical, and yet, they expect you to believe they are the victims. Invoking Europe’s holocaust and screaming antisemitism, they expect you to suspend fundamental human reason to believe that the daily sniping of children with so called “kill shots” and the bombing of entire neighborhoods that bury families alive and wipe out whole bloodlines is self-defense.
They want you to believe that a man who had not eaten a thing in over 72 hours, who kept fighting even when all he had was one functioning arm, that this man was motivated by some innate savagery and irrational hatred or jealousy of Jews, rather than the indominable yearning to see his people free in their own homeland.
It’s clear to me that we’re not here to debate whether Israel is an apartheid or genocidal state. This debate is ultimately about the worth of Palestinian lives; about the worth of our schools, research centers, books, art, and dreams; about the worth of the homes we worked all our lives to build and which contain the memories of generations; about the worth of our humanity and our agency; the worth of bodies and ambitions.
Because if the roles were reversed—if Palestinians had spent the last eight decade stealing Jewish homes, expelling, oppressing, imprisoning, poisoning, torturing, raping and killing them; if Palestinians had killed an estimated 300,000 Jews in one year, targeted their journalists, their thinkers, their healthcare workers, their athletes, their artists, bombed every Israeli hospital, university, library, museum, cultural center, synagogue, and simultaneously set up an observation platform where people came watch their slaughter as if a tourist attraction;
if Palestinians had corralled them by the hundreds of thousands into flimsy tents, bombed them in so called safe zones, burned them alive, cut off their food, water, and medicine;
if Palestinians made Jewish children wander barefoot with empty pots; made them gather the flesh of their parents into plastic bags; made them bury their siblings, cousins and friends; made them sneak out from their tents in the middle of the night to sleep on their parents’ graves; made them pray for death just to join their families and not be alone in this terrible world anymore, and terrorized them so utterly that their children lose their hair, lose their memory, lose their minds, and made those as young as 4 and 5 year old were die of heart attacks;
if we mercilessly forced their NICU babies to die, alone in hospital beds, crying until they could cry no more, died and decomposed in the same spot;
if Palestinians used wheat flour aid trucks to lure starving jews, then opened fire on them when they gathered to collect a day’s bread; if Palestinians finally allowed a food delivery into a shelter with hungry Jews, then set fire to the entire shelter and aid truck before anyone could taste the food;
if a Palestinian sniper bragged about blowing out 42 Jewish kneecaps in one day as one Israeli soldier did in 2019; if a Palestinian admitted to CNN that he ran over hundreds of Jews with his tank, their squished flesh lingering in the tank treads;
if Palestinians were systematically raping Jewish doctors, patients, and other captives with hot metal rods, jagged and electrified sticks, and fire extinguishers, sometimes raping to death, as happened with Dr Adnan alBursh and others;
if Jewish women were forced to give birth in filth, get C-sections or leg amputations without anesthesia; if we destroyed their children then decorated our tanks with their toys; if we killed or displaced their women then posed with their lingerie…
if the world were watching the livestreamed systematic annihilation of Jews in real time, there would be no debating whether that constituted terrorism or genocide.
And yet two Palestinians—myself and Mohammad el-Kurd— showed up here to do just that, enduring the indignity of debating those who think our only life choices should be to leave our homeland, submit to their supremacy, or die politely and quietly.
But you would be wrong to think that I came to convince you of anything.
The house resolution, though well-meaning and appreciated, is of little consequence in the midst of this holocaust of our time.
I came in the spirit of Malcolm X and Jimmy Baldwin, both of whom stood here and in Cambridge before I was born, facing finely dressed well-spoken monsters who harbored the same supremacist ideologies as Zionism—these notions of entitlement and privilege, of being divinely favored, blessed, or chosen.
I’m here for the sake of history. To speak to generations not yet born and for the chronicles of this extraordinary time where the carpet bombing of defenseless indigenous societies is legitimized.
I’m here for my grandmothers, both of whom died as penniless refugees while foreign Jews lived in their stolen homes.
And I also came to speak directly to zionists here and everywhere.
We let you into our homes when your own countries tried to murder you and everyone else turned you away. We fed, clothed, gave you shelter, and we shared the bounty of our land with you, and when the time was ripe, you kicked us out of our own homes and homeland, then you killed and robbed and burned and looted our lives.
You carved out our hearts because it is clear you do not know how to live in the world without dominating others.
You have crossed all lines and nurtured the most vile of human impulses, but the world is finally glimpsing the terror we have endured at your hands for so long, and they are seeing the reality of who you are, who you’ve always been.
They watch in utter astonishment the sadism, the glee, the joy, and pleasure with which you conduct, watch, and cheer the daily details of breaking our bodies, our minds, our future, our past.
But no matter what happens from here, no matter what fairytales you tell yourself and tell the world, you will never truly belong to that land. You will never understand the sacredness of the olives trees, which you’ve been cutting down and burning for decades just to spite us and to break our hearts a little more.
No one native to that land would dare do such a thing to the olives. No one who belongs to that region would ever bomb or destroy such ancient heritage as Baalbak or Bittir, or destroy ancient cemeteries as you destroy ours, like the Anglican cemetery in Jerusalem or the resting place of ancient Muslim scholars and warriors in Maamanillah.
Those who come from that land do not desecrate the dead; that’s why my family for centuries were the caretakers of the Jewish cemetery in the Mount of Olives, as labors of faith and care for what we know is part of our ancestry and story.
Your ancestors will always be buried in your actual homelands of Poland, Ukraine, and elsewhere around the world from whence you came. The mythos and folklore of the land will always be alien to you.
You will never be literate in the sartorial language of the thobes we wear, that sprang from the land through our foremothers over centuries—every motif, design, and pattern speaking to the secrets of local lore, flora, birds, rivers, and wildlife.
What your real estate agents call in their high-priced listings “old Arab home” will always hold in their stones the stories and memories of our ancestors who built them. The ancient photos and paintings of the land will never contain you.
You will never know how it feels to be loved and supported by those who have nothing to gain from you, and in fact, everything to lose.
You will never know the feeling of masses all over the world pouring into the streets and stadiums to chant and sing for your freedom; and it is not because you are Jewish, as you try to make the world believe, but because you are depraved violent colonizers who think your Jewishness entitles you to the home my grandfather and his brothers built with their own hands on lands that had been in our family for centuries.
It is because Zionism is a blight onto Judaism and indeed onto humanity.
You can change your names to sound more relevant to the region and you can pretend falafel and hummus and zaatar are your ancient cuisines, but in the recesses of your being, you will always feel the sting of this epic forgery and theft, that’s why even the drawings of our children pasted hung on walls at the UN or in a hospital ward send your leaders and lawyers into hysteric meltdowns.
You will not erase us, no matter how many of us you kill and kill and kill, all day every day.
We are not the rocks Chaim Weizmann thought you could clear from the land. We are its very soil.
We are her rivers and her trees and her stories, because all of that was nurtured by our bodies and our lives over millennia of continuous, uninterrupted habitation of that patch of earth between the Jordan and Mediterranean waters, from our Canaanite, our Hebrew, our Philistine, and our Phoenician ancestors, to every conqueror or pilgrim who came and went, who married or raped, loved, enslaved, converted between religions, settled or prayed in our land, leaving pieces of themselves in our bodies and our heritage.
The fabled, tumultuous stories of that land are quite literally in our DNA. You cannot kill or propagandize that away, no matter what death technology you use or what Hollywood and corporate media arsenals you deploy.
Someday, your impunity and arrogance will end. Palestine will be free; she will be restored to her multi-religious, multi-ethnic pluralistic glory; we will restore and expand the trains that run from Cairo to Gaza to Jerusalem, Haifa, Tripoli, Beirut, Damascus, Amman, Kuwait, Sanaa, and so on; we will put an end to the zionist American war machine of domination, expansion, extraction, pollution, and looting.
..and you will either leave, or you will finally learn to live with others as equals.

When I read you saying above “A commentator, I believe his name is Ken O’Keefe” it reminded me of a scene in the famous movie Taxi Driver when the pimp in the doorway says to Robert DiNiro, “You don’t look so hip, lol”.
Ken O’Keefe is a former US Marine and one of the bravest most outspoken opponents of Zionist Israel and their weak cowardly subservient puppets in America.
He was on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla relief ship MV Mavi Marmara many years ago, and single-handedly disarmed three jew Israeli commandos who stormed the ship from a helicopter.
Susan Abulhawa’s speech to the Oxford crowd was certainly authentic, as a consequence, the excruciating, Heart-wrenching detailing leaves no doubt those fiends conducting the Genocide are the “Most Loathsome” of tribes.
For the “Judge” to come around together with his cohorts and acknowledge the validity of Palestinian attestations by referencing “The jew” could still be “A Bridge Too Far”.

On November 12th I received a sudden visit at my home from two FBI agents. As I posted in a tweet.
FBI agents suddenly showed up at my home recently. They asked me about a person whose name I didn’t recognize. I asked to have a family member present and ascertained from the agents that one of their offices had asked them to check in with certain people in regard to something to do with Press TV.
This is an Iranian outlet that has interviewed me on various occasions over the years. (During my 20+ years writing and speaking about Palestine, I have taken as many opportunities as humanly possible to get the facts out via any traditional and alternative, domestic and international media outlets available. I don’t attempt to vet media outlets and try to reach as many audiences in the U.S. and around the world as I can with the facts about Palestine.)
I have since found out that other individuals who have a history of working for a just peace for Palestinians and Israelis have also been visited by the FBI. I understand the agency has been weaponized in the past to try to silence groups and people that some members of government oppose.
It would appear someone is now trying to set the stage to silence dissent on Israel-Palestine in the United States by trumping up “connections with Iran.”
Since my tweet, there have been several articles on the incident. These also pointed out the Palestinian connection.
(It’s important to keep in mind that this is in the context of over a year of Israel starving and slaughtering Palestinians; seventy percent of those killed have been women and children. Even a growing number of mainstream American commentators such as Ambassador Chas Freeman, Professor John Mearsheimer, Col. Douglas Macregor, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and Col. Daniel Davis have spoken out about the situation.)
Press TV published a report saying that the FBI visit to my home was “seen as part of a broader pattern of opposing voices that shed light on the Gaza genocide and US backing of Israel.”

Events during the Obama administration probably point to the way things will work out again, if the attack on Syrian forces continues for more than a few weeks.
A day after Israel agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon last week the long dormant war in Syria reignited as jihadist forces seized the city of Aleppo and advanced virtually unhindered in its quest to overthrow the Syrian government until finally meeting resistance from the Syrian Army backed up by Russia. This is the last chance for neocons in the United States to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad before Donald Trump, who tried to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria, resumes the presidency in 49 days.

On the neocon list of ways to make the world safer for Israel, Iran originally occupied pride of place. “Real men go to Tehran!” was the muscular brag. But Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was persuaded to acquiesce in a less ambitious plan — to “do Iraq” and remove the “evil dictator” in Baghdad first.
As the invaders/occupiers got bogged down in Iraq, it seemed more sensible to “do Syria” next. With the help of “friendly services,” the neocons mounted a false-flag chemical attack outside Damascus in late August 2013, blaming it on President Bashar al-Assad, whom U.S. President Barack Obama had earlier said, “had to go.”
Obama had called such a chemical attack a red line but, mirabile dictu, chose to honor the U.S. Constitution by asking Congress first. Worse still for the neocons, during the first days of September, Russian President Vladimir Putin pulled Obama’s chestnuts out of the fire by persuading Syria to destroy its chemical weapons under U.N. supervision.
Obama later admitted that virtually all of his advisers had wanted him to order Tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria.
Morose at CNN
I was lucky enough to observe, up-close and personal, the angry reaction of some of Israel’s top American supporters on Sept. 9, 2013, when the Russian-brokered deal for Syria to destroy its chemical weapons was announced.
After doing an interview in Washington on CNN International, I opened the studio door and almost knocked over a small fellow named Paul Wolfowitz, President George W. Bush’s former under-secretary of defense who in 2002-2003 had helped craft the fraudulent case for invading Iraq.
And there standing next to him was former Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Connecticut neocon who was a leading advocate for the Iraq War and pretty much every other potential war in the Middle East.
On the tube earlier, Anderson Cooper sought counsel from Ari Fleischer, former spokesman for Bush, and David Gergen, long-time White House PR guru.

President-elect Trump has threatened Hamas – release the hostages or we will hit you “harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied history of the United States of America.”
What? Harder than nukes on Hiroshima or Nagasaki? And that would kill the hostages too – as well as lots of Israelis.
So no nukes. But it’s still a stupid threat. And, for those who believe Trump knows the connection between the “forever wars” and MAGA, very disappointing to hear.
It’s a stupid threat because there is no thing that America can do that Israel hasn’t already done much more of. Ground troops? Done and failed – red triangle videos, desertions, PTSD. Bomb everything? Done, more than done, and the hostages not killed by the bombing are still unreleased.
Yell louder? Couldn’t be louder. More threats? Done and overdone. Attack Hezbollah in Lebanon? Done and failed. America has some intelligence that it hasn’t given Israel on where the hostages are are? No. Aircraft carriers? B52s? Start a shooting war against Iran?
So what is the big hard hit that only America can provide?
To exaggerate (but not all that much) America has already sent all the ground warfare stuff it can spare to be burnt up in Ukraine. And now all the bombs it can spare to Israel.
America can drain more of its reserves but how much more? And what difference will it make anyway? What’s left to blow up in Gaza?
It’s sad and frightening to see that Trump has not learned the Big Lesson of the 21st Century – the West is not as powerful and not as frightening as people used to believe.
The optimist can hope that it’s negotiating theater – gaseous emissions to cover an actual deal in which Hamas releases the hostages, Israel does a victory dance and the aerial slaughter stops. Maybe.
But it’s still a childishly empty threat that Hamas can laugh at.
