    Will Hagee Have A Rapture?
    By Brother Nathanael Kapner
    Copyright 2015

“Pray up, pack up, look up, we’re going up!” shouts John Hagee.

He’s preaching “The Rapture.” But there’s not a shred of evidence for it in the Bible.

[Clip: “Neighbors are going to be standing in the streets and they’re going to be having conversations like this: ‘I was standing here talking to Mr Jones and suddenly he started rising into the air, over the house past the tree tops, gone, Gone, GONE! He’s vanished in the clouds right before my eyes.’

“What is this earth shattering event? This earth shattering event is the literal rapture of the church of Jesus Christ. It’s going to happen in the twinkling of an eye. I’m saying to you, pray up, Pack up, LOOK up, we’re going up!” (Applause).]

But the word “rapture” and its system was actually invented as late as 1830 by the Protestant preacher, John Darby, popularized by Cyrus Scofield, and today hyped by Hal Lindsay in his dubious Late Great Planet Earth.

Hagee now gives the rapture a whole new spin. It’s “The Great Escape.”

[Clip: “Headlines will be screaming, ‘Millions Are Missing Without A Trace!’ Cars are going to be parked out here beside Loop 1604 and every highway in the world, the motors are still running, with the drivers and the occupants of the car sailing for mansions on high.”]

But does Hagee care if those driver-less cars smash into a family of five while he watches from his “mansion on high?” Hagee’s rapture turns God into a callous murderer.

Now watch him turn the “friendly skies” into a horror show.

[Clip: “I tell you if you’re not a christian, don’t you dare fly with a christian pilot. He’s going up and you’re going down.”]

Hagee’s ‘rapture’ is nothing less than a vendetta against all those “sinners” who don’t buy into his money-making preaching of a ‘jesus’ the apostles never taught.

Christ Himself said there’d be only ONE arising, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting damnation. And that ONE arising would be “on the last day.”

When Jesus said that there’d be one “taken” but one “left behind,” He was pointing to the coming destruction of the Temple by the Romans in 70 AD out of which “tribulation” his followers would be “taken” when fleeing to Pella beyond the Jordan, but the unbelieving Jews would be “left behind.”

St Paul then comforts the Church in Thessalonica that at Christ’s “Coming”— (not one followed by a ‘Great Tribulation’)—their loved ones who died in Christ would be first to rise, then those who remain alive.

Now, why does St Paul say “we” which are alive and “we” shall be with the Lord?

It’s to strengthen Christ’s warning that the day of His SECOND Coming, no man knows, and could happen any time, even when St Paul was still alive.

But Hagee’s fixed on “signs” of a rapture that will happen in his own time.

[Clip: “The sixth prophetic sign that we’re the terminal generation happened when Jerusalem was no longer under the control of the Gentile people. And I want you to know that right now Jerusalem is being built to be the glory of the ages. GAWD gets emotional about Jerusalem. From this moment forward, for the rest of our lives, until Christ comes, Jerusalem is the center of the universe.”]

Jerusalem the “center of the universe?” Then everything would revolve around the murder of God by Jews.

In Revelations, God calls Jerusalem “where Christ was crucified” and “Sodom and Egypt,” equating the Old Testament enemies of the Israel of God—The Church—with the New Testament enemies of the Church: Jews, who “crucified Christ.”

God does NOT get “emotional” over this Christ-hating Jerusalem.

But Hagee and his deluded followers do.

John Hagee and his deluded followers are nothing more than the next Millerites.

Who is up for a Great Disappointment, when all his heretical bruhaha is proven to be nothing more than hogwash?

He (and all protestants under his and other apostate preachers) are treading on thin ice, but Hagee (and the other holy roller types) is most definitely under the anathema in Galatians 1:8-9.

They teach another Gospel, that is worshiping Christ-hating Jews, whom Saint Paul refers to as dogs (Philippians 3:2).

This bloated apostate leads his energetic cult-like following to the Synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9-3:9).

In Saint John’s letters, Jews are referred to as antichrist, also the first letter of John links the passage John 8:44, when Christ refers to the Jews as “of the their father the Devil” to the entire Jewish race, not just to the ancient Pharisees as Hagee and Co. want us to believe.

The rapture heresy also relies on the older heresy of chiliasm, or “the thousand year reign of Christ.” This was popularized by many heretics and anathematized after the Second Ecumenical Council.

The Orthodox Church rightly teaches what is referred to as amillenialism, by which the 1,000 years are symbolic, referring to the current age of the Church.

The 144,000 are as discussed numerous times symbolic (the tribe of Dan is left out) for the first fruits of the New Testament Church, not a Jewish nationalist ideal as the evangelicals would try to have you think.

Anathema upon John Hagee, Hal Lindsay, Stanley, and others who preach another gospel and lead others astray.

    Great Video, dear +BN.

I’m not sure if Hagee is having a Rapture, or a rupture.

The Jewish Jerusalem is Hagee’s “center of the universe”?

The nation of Israhell is Hagee’s “Gaaaawd.” His Jewish Jerusalem is the heart-pounding, terrifying, cyclonic epicenter of Hell on earth.

It is the Palestinians who have been struggling for over 65 years to keep the gates of Hell shut with their blood, sweat, tears and bare hands, to keep Hagee’s malicious chaos-god of disorder, devastation and ruin and his demons from being fully unleashed in the world.

It is true that nowadays America is a bedlam in plain air.

  9. Al Guricko January 4, 2015 @ 11:26 pm

    John Hagee -

Are their really people out there who believe the shit that spews out of the mouth of this religious fraud?

Are there actually people out there who are followers of this pathetic clown?

Really. How about that. Isn’t that interesting.

Well. Well. Well. The three wells.

    Bye for now.

    Al Guricko

  10. KathJuliane January 4, 2015 @ 11:49 pm

    Dear Al Guricko,

John Hagee Ministries is the tip of the iceberg of the evangelical Judeo-Christian interlocking network of pre-trib rapture Zio-christian preachers and televangelists in which billions of charitable dollars go to support Israeli Jews and their pariah state.

And that doesn’t even count his separate political lobbying organization — Christians United For Israel (CUFI), and more networking with the Zionist Jewish organization networks.

He’s just one of the biggest name Judeo-christian hucksters pandering for the Jews and twisting Scripture so that evangelical ‘Christians’ can feel good about belonging to the Halo Club of the Golden Fleeced.

Here’s a sample of his pitch from his “Exodus II” programs donation campaign, one of 10 of his “Giving Opportunities”:

“World history is literally forming before our very eyes. It is clear that Israel is in the gravest danger that she has been in since the six Arab armies tried to strangle her at birth in 1948.

“We want the world and the Jewish people to know that millions of evangelical Christians in America and around the world have a biblical belief to love Israel, to speak up and support her not only with prayer, but financially as well.

“At time when Israel feels more alone than ever, I want us to let them know “YOU ARE NOT ALONE!” You are God’s Chosen people and have an eternal covenant with God that will stand forever.

“Friends and partners, I am awed at what you have done the past and what I know you will continue to do in the future with your generous donations through our Exodus II programs with John Hagee Ministries.

“To date, you have given $48,127,240.60 to various causes that support the Jewish people. Now that is an Awesome God!

“Your gifts go for many causes, such as education, helping orphans, the end gathering of exiles from around the world who wish to relocate to Israel and many other humanitarian causes.

“ALL of our efforts directly benefit Israel and her people. You are the reason we have made such a difference in the lives of so many of God’s people.

“As Christians, it is our duty to minister to the Jewish people in material things.

“’It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things,” Romans 15:27.

“If you want God’s favor then I challenge you to make the finest contribution you can to Exodus II.

“I ask that you join me in praying daily for the peace of Jerusalem, and ask that you let your voice heard, “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.” - Isaiah 62:1. Together – let’s bless Israel and the Jewish people!”

    http://www.jhm.org/Donation/Exodus_II

Sigh. There are something like 90-100 million evangelicals in the US, and a large percentage of these are Zionist Judeo-Christians.

It is very refreshing and encouraging to have some one take to the Internet with such a wide audience to preach the veritable truth as to the Second Coming of Christ.

It is indeed ‘the’ truth. There is no other manner of the appearance of the Lord in glory with saints who ’sleep’ above and for the saints still remaining.

In ways unknown to us, there will be the fulfillment as stated by Brother Nathanael, and as is exemplified also in ‘when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, bringing vengeance to those who do not know God and to pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his power, when he comes to be glorified in his holy ones’. Translation by the Eastern-Greek Orthodox Church.

Oh, I do love Brother Nathanael for who he is and for how he is teaching so many of us all about these things.

One cannot see how Hagee would ever make it up to glory, at any time, because of his idolatrous stance for Israel. As such is not part of the gospel, he obviously has ‘another Jesus’ and ‘another Spirit’.

We following the King James Bible were taught that Jehovah, introduced around AD1200, was what the ‘LORD’ represented. The Septuagint of the Ancient Church used ‘the Lord’ as His name.

Many were as many today are, the true believers in Christ but who have followed some of Hagee’s end-time teaching, even the rapture, Darby’s fallacious Jewish myth. It was and is a prevalent teaching. The big question that one dares not provoke is: ‘What will be their condition when Jesus does come’?

Yes, indeed, here is ‘Bedlam’ in the churches as Seraphim above, suggests. The nations have been made mad by what the Jews do and continue in doing, from the days of Babylon.

Hopefully Christians in the churches of Christendom will leave the Bedlam that has issued out of hell.

  12. Saved by grace January 5, 2015 @ 2:59 am

Does anyone have proof Hagee is a Freemason?

Recently I am shocked by the realization that Khazars those who call themselves Jewish, are Gog Magog (Turkic), even though Zio-christians claim modern Russia is Gog and going to attack false Israel.

They are unaware Putin’s Russia is Christian born from above. Talk about dumb sheeple.

And do not make the mistake to believe the word Zion (TzIVN) belongs to the Jews.

Don’t let them have it for themselves, and their duped quackchristians. Its the old word for the Court of God, and it is not anchored to Jerusalem. It just once was there. Its a spiritual reality manifesting where the fervent endeavours of prayers are heard and recognized by the Just God.

When and if the right and sincere people are using this word with will, God’s Court will start to manifest upon Earth and God will suddenly have his faithful men acting upon this demonridden Earth.

Stein is a first name as it use to be here around, and never a last name.

John Hagee has been the mouthpiece for Jewish confusion for years.

His son follows in his footsteps. Its a way to drum up financial support for the illegal occupation of Palestinian land by a group that claims to be none other than “God’s Chosen.”

Common sense for any Christian can see the murderous ways these self appointed “God’s Chosen” violate on a daily basis the 10 Commandments. Titus said in the New Testament “Not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”

    Hagee is preaching fables!

    God Bless Brother Nathanael!

Republicans in the US believe that the “end of days” is upon us and would (in their own twisted and sick way) love to start a nuclear war in order to preempt the “second coming.”

I’m not joking, there are more of them in Washington than you might think.

As America crumbles it will only get more tempting for them to try and end it all…

  22. Danielsan January 5, 2015 @ 8:20 am

Does anyone else believe John Hagee is most likely a good friend of the Rothschilds clan?

He has to have their ‘$tamp of approval’ for the fame and fortune he receives, by preaching the gospel of “Christian Zionism” (is there a wolf hidden in sheep’s clothing)?

  23. jim January 5, 2015 @ 8:48 am

That disgusting fat swine Hagee is not the problem, the folks who are stupid and cowardly enough to listen and give money to him are the problem.

If you get approached by me, with an offer to purchase a bridge in NYC for $200, so that you can charge tolls, and you give me your money, who exactly is to blame here?

You do not need book smarts in order to punch me in the nose or kick Hagee in whatever nads he may or may not have, so once again who is at fault here?

Unless you go to an expensive magician’s show, or are standing close to a nuclear bomb when it detonates, you will never see anyone disappear. The transformation of our ordinary selves into Christ Consciousness is completely internal, so only you are the witness.

When it eventually happens, no one but you will be aware that it occurred, like when you solve a really difficult math or science problem, nobody can feel your elation but you.

Spiritual growth has nothing to do with physical transformation at all, although proper meditation requires a strong body and mind. In fact, often times it requires great physical and mental pain for Life to push someone enough to seek out the Lord Almighty.

Physical comfort is not the friend of the mystic, because happy people lose track of what gave them consciousness and Free Will in the first place.

Anyone who charges you money to hypothetically illuminate you is one of the very lowest forms of life, and everything that comes from their mouth is fecal matter from Hell.

As Christ stated, cast ye not seeds upon rocks, and Hagee’s disciples are rocks and he has no seed anyway.

  24. Nick January 5, 2015 @ 8:58 am

I try to refrain from name-calling but “Boss Hog” Hagee is a deceiver of incredible proportions.

He preaches that Armageddon is a certainty but him and his kind will be miraculously taken up, while the rest of us suffer horrendously. How Christian of him.

He lies spectacularly here with his examples. He says two will be talking and then one will slowly float into the air until they disappear. The next moment he claims this happens in the twinkling of an eye.

This is trickster deceit that none of his sheep even hear.

  25. Santiago January 5, 2015 @ 9:21 am

    HAGEE = CHARLATAN

A charlatan (also called swindler or mountebank) is a person practising quackery or some similar confidence trick in order to obtain money.

Quackery is the promotion of fraudulent or ignorant medical practices.

Random House Dictionary describes a “quack” as a “fraudulent or ignorant pretender.

  26. Ken Kannady January 5, 2015 @ 9:25 am

So we can take it with us?

  27. jim January 5, 2015 @ 10:03 am

Just to conclude the argument, who is guilty, the Devil or the idiot he tricks?

The self chosen vampires (SCV) have made it plain and simple what their approach to Life is, having afflicted the West (White folks) for over 2000 years, but the vast majority of the goyim keep falling for the same old dirty tricks.

Who can blame the SCV for continually pulling the magical rabbit out of their hat (or their anus if they are from Hollywierd)?

Seriously, one of the regimen courses they should teach in every grade school is “common sense,” which is the opposite of any form of commie political correctness.

If it barks, sniffs butts, craps on the floor and has fleas, it is a dog. If it is Godless, lies to you, steals your money, murders and rapes you both physically and spiritually, then it is either an SCV or one of their Hell bent goyim minions.

The fact that the SCV make up 2% of the US population, and completely control the other 98% is remarkable, particularly since they even wrote a bloody book about it and had it published (Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion) over 100 years ago.

Holy Christ, how gullible are the goyim? Stupid people do not deserve to live quite frankly, and the goyim are pretty darn retarded.

  28. Jean January 5, 2015 @ 11:30 am

The people of the 12 tribes from Jacob have taken anything to their account, as for the blessings.

What is not so common told is that the citizens of Sodom and Gomorra are waiting to judge the 12 tribes for their sins and all other short comings.

Only one quarter from the people will be left behind. Let it be the right ones.

    Bobby Fischer speaks his mind:

“First of all, we have to understand what communism is. I mean, to me, real communism, the Soviet communism, is basically a mask for Bolshevism, which is a mask for Judaism.” — Press Conference, September 1, 1992

“What is going on is I am being persecuted night and day by the Jews, for telling it like it is. They want to put me in jail, they’re robbing me of everything I have, they’re continuously lying about me. I’ve had enough of this shit.

“The latest thing they’ve done is I had some stuff in storage back in Pasadena for 12 years, spent a fortune on storage fees, a fortune on safes… and these God-damn Jews in America have just gone and grabbed it all.” — Radio Interview, January 13, 1999

“They’re lying bastards. Jews were always lying bastards throughout their history. They’re a filthy, dirty, disgusting, vile, criminal people.” — Radio Interview, March 10, 1999

“My main interest right now is to expose the Jews. This is a lot bigger than me. They’re not just persecuting me. This is not just my struggle, I’m not just doing this for myself… This is life and death for the world. These God-damn Jews have to be stopped. They’re a menace to the whole world.” — Radio Interview, March 10, 1999

“I have a crazy quirk, Eugene. I like to say what I think. And if you’re gonna work for the Jews, you can no longer say what you think. You can’t say the holocaust never happened, for example. That is an absolute no-no. You can’t say that circumcision is a crime.

“There are so many things you cannot say once you get on the Jewish bandwagon. … There used to be a lot of people like me, but little by little the Jewish spirit seems to be conquering all….

“I would rather be free in my mind, and be locked up in a prison cell, than to be a coward and not be able to say what I want.

“The Jews have been hardened against Christ, against decency for thousands of years. They’re gonna have to be annihilated, Eugene.

“America is totally under control of the Jews, you know. I mean, look what they’re doing in Yugoslavia! The Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense are dirty Jews.” — Speaking to Eugene Torre on Bombo Radyo Philippines, May 24, 1999

“The United States is supposed to be a government of laws, not people. But that’s a lot of shit. The United States is totally controlled by dirty Jews. And these are ruthless, lawless, criminal people.

“They’ve been mutilating their kids for thousands of years, cutting off a piece of their penis. That’s illegal too, but that never stopped the dirty Jews.” — Radio Interview, June 27, 1999

“I’m very concerned because I think the Jews want to drive the elephants to extinction because the trunk of an elephant reminds them of an uncircumcised penis. I’m absolutely serious about that… Jews are sick, they’re mental cases.” — Radio Interview, July 6, 2001

“They are subhuman. They are the scum of the Earth. When you talk about Jews, you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel of humanity.” — Radio Interview, October 16, 1999

“I was going to do a book about the first prearranged Karpov-Kasparov match, ‘84-’85. But the God-damn Jews have stolen my entire file on that.” — Radio Interview, January 27, 2002

“Jews hate nature and the natural order, because it’s pure and beautiful, and also because it’s bigger and stronger than they are, and they feel that they can not fully control it.

“Nature’s beauty and harmony stands in stark contrast to their squalidness and ugliness, and that makes them hate it all the more. Jews are destroyers. They are anti-humans.” — Radio Interview, February 19, 2005

“I grew up with the concept of freedom of speech. So I’m too old, it’s too late for me to adjust to the new world, the new world order.” — Interview en-route to Iceland, March 24, 2005

“The United States is evil. There’s this axis of evil. What about the allies of evil – the United States, England, Japan, Australia? These are the evildoers.” — Press conference in Iceland, March 25, 2005

“Yeah, there are too many Jews in chess. They seem to have taken away the class of the game….”

    “Good day to you.

Can you clarify for me what the book of Revelation says, when it speaks of the second death?”

    Thanks

    Tom
    —–

@Tom In case you do not get a response, I felt it warranted to let you know. I assume you speak of Rev 20:14.

The first death is of our fleshly bodies. The second death is in reference to the destruction of our souls, as that will be the consequences for those names not found written in the book of life.

    Great question.

Also, Don’t forget to buy his latest book goyim.

The NYT, Jewry, and Oprah too love Rock Star preacher boy Joel Olsteen.

Why will there be NO “negative” talk about nation wrecking, Christ-hating Juden from Joey O. and John “Porky” Hagee who have the rapture rangers and kosher kommandos eating out of their manicured sissy boy hands?

There are no sheckles involved in telling the truth.

This rapture is based on Matthew 24:40-41, but Hagee missed Matthew 13:30.

This is his down fall, for it is his gathering.

Here is an interesting Bible study I would hope you listen to entitled “rapture of the wicked.”

People seeking God in their way.

Even when they are misled, you gotta love ‘em.

A “stupid ass” indeed! But where would he be without his stupid ass followers?

Their ears must ache for lies - and then more lies. Hagee’s, Lindsey’s and other’s rapture bs is just one of countless avenues we could explore.

Rather than fearing God’s justice, and His dislike for even little sins, the rapture simpletons always presume upon His mercy - foolishly counting themselves among the saved.

St. Paul saw it over 1900 years ago: “For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.”

But Jesus and countless saints warned: “For many are called but few are chosen.” - St. Mark 20:16

Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it! - St. Matthew 7:13-14

Lord, are there few that are saved? But he said to them: Strive to enter by the narrow gate; for many, I tell you, shall seek to enter, and shall not be able. - St. Luke 13:23-24

Indeed, a great multitude shall see salvation; but they will seem to be only a few compared to the great multitude that is damned. - Catholic St. John Mary Vianney

“What do you think? How many of the inhabitants of this city (Constantinople, which at the time was the most populous city on the planet) will be saved?

“What I am about to tell you is very terrible, yet I will not conceal it from you: out of this thickly populated city with its many (approximately 500,000) inhabitants, not one hundred people will be saved. I truly doubt whether there will even be as many as that!” - Orthodox Catholic St. John Chrysostom

Take care not to resemble the multitude whose knowledge of God’s will only condemns them to even more severe punishment. - Catholic St. John of Avila

“St. Macarius was living among some ruins when one day he found a skull and turning it over with his staff, asked it who it had been. “I was the high priest of the pagans of this place.” it answered. “And where are you now?” he asked. “In Hell!” came the reply.

“Macarius then asked the skull if its place was very deep in Hell. “As far down as the earth is lower than Heaven.” “Are there any souls lower than you?” “Yes, the souls of the Jews.” “And are there any souls lower than the Jews?” “Yes, the souls of bad Christians - who were redeemed by the blood of Christ but valued their salvation cheaply.”

The number of the saved is as few as the number of grapes left after the vineyard-pickers have passed. - Catholic St. John Mary Vianney

Be one of the small number who find the way to life, and enter by the narrow gate into Heaven. Take care not to follow the majority and the common herd, so many of whom are lost. Do not be deceived; there are only two roads: one that leads to life and is narrow; the other that leads to death and is wide. There is no middle way. - Catholic St. Louis Marie de Montfort

So many souls leave the road to glory and go to hell! - Catholic St. Francis Xavier

Behold how many there are who are called, and how few who are chosen! And behold, if you have no care for yourself, your perdition is more certain than your amendment, especially since the way that leads to eternal life is so narrow. - Catholic St. John of the Cross

There are many who arrive at the faith, but few who are led into the heavenly kingdom. Behold how many are gathered here for today’s Feast-Day: we fill the church from wall to wall. Yet who knows how few they are who shall be numbered in that chosen company of the Elect? - Orthodox Catholic Pope St. Gregory the Great

“The greater number of men still say to God: Lord we will not serve Thee; we would rather be slaves of the devil, and condemned to Hell, than be Thy servants. Alas! The greatest number, my Jesus - we may say nearly all - not only do not love Thee, but offend Thee and despise Thee.

“How many countries there are in which there are scarcely any Catholics, and all the rest either infidels or heretics! And all of them are certainly on the way to being lost.” Catholic St. - Alphonsus Maria Liguori

A multitude of souls fall into the depths of Hell, and it is of the faith that all who die in mortal sin are condemned for ever and ever. According to statistics, approximately 80,000 persons die every day. How many of these will die in mortal sin, and how many will be condemned! For, as their lives have been, so also will be their end. - Catholic St. Anthony Mary Claret

As a man lives, so shall he die. - Orthodox Catholic St. Augustine

Ah! A great many persons live constantly in the state of damnation! - Catholic St. Vincent de Paul

“The Lord called the world a “field” and all the faithful who draw near to him “wheat.” All through the field, and around the threshing-floor, there is both wheat and chaff. But the greater part is chaff; the lesser part is wheat, for which is prepared a barn not a fire. […]

“The good also are many, but in comparison with the wicked the good are few. Many are the grains of wheat, but compared with the chaff, the grains are few.” - Orthodox Catholic St. Augustine

The more the wicked abound, so much the more must we suffer with them in patience; for on the threshing floor few are the grains carried into the barns, but high are the piles of chaff burned with fire. - Orthodox Catholic Pope St. Gregory the Great

Taking into account the behavior of mankind, only a small part of the human race will be saved. - Catholic Lucy of Fatima

So many people are going to die, and almost all of them are going to Hell! So many people falling into hell! - Catholic Bl. Jacinta of Fatima

Countless hosts have fallen into Hell. - Catholic Venerable Mary of Agreda

Not all, nor even a majority, are saved. They are indeed many - if regarded by themselves, but they are small in comparison with the far greater number of those who shall be punished with the devil. - Orthodox Catholic St. Augustine

The perverse are hard to be corrected, and the number of fools is infinite. - Ecclesiastes 1:15

“Our chronicles relate an even more dreadful happening. One of our brothers, well-known for his doctrine and holiness, was preaching in Germany. He represented the ugliness of the sin of impurity so forcefully that a woman fell dead of sorrow in front of everyone.

“Then, coming back to life, she said, “When I was presented before the Tribunal of God, sixty thousand people arrived at the same time from all parts of the world; out of that number, three were saved by going to Purgatory, and all the rest were damned.” - Catholic St. Leonard of Port Maurice

The greater part of men choose to be damned rather than to love Almighty God. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

“The number of the elect is so small - so small - that were we to know how small it is, we should faint away with grief.

“The number of the elect is so small that were God to assemble them together, He would cry to them, as He did of old, by the mouth of His prophet, “Gather yourselves together, one by one” - one from this province, one from that kingdom. - Catholic St. Louis Marie de Montfort

The number of the damned is incalculable. - Catholic St. Veronica Giuliani

“What is the number of those who love Thee, O God? How few they are! The Elect are much fewer than the damned! Alas! The greater portion of mankind lives in sin unto the devil, and not unto Jesus Christ.

“O Saviour of the world, I thank Thee for having called and permitted us to live in the true faith which the Holy Roman Catholic Church teaches. […] But alas, O my Jesus! How small is the number of those who live in this holy faith! Oh, God! The greater number of men lie buried in the darkness of infidelity and heresy.

“Thou hast humbled Thyself to death, to the death of the cross, for the salvation of men, and these ungrateful men are unwilling even to know Thee. Ah, I pray Thee, O omnipotent God, O sovereign and infinite Good, make all men know and love Thee! - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

“I see around me a multitude of those who, blindly persevering in error, despise the true God; but I am a Christian nevertheless, and I follow the instruction of the Apostles. If this deserves chastisement, reward it; for I am determined to suffer every torture rather then become the slave of the devil.

“Others may do as they please since they are […] reckless of the future life which is to be obtained only by sufferings.

“Scripture tells us that “narrow is the way that leads to life” […] because it is one of affliction and of persecutions suffered for the sake of justice; but it is wide enough for those who walk upon it, because their faith and the hope of an eternal reward make it so for them. […] On the contrary, the road of vice is in reality narrow, and it leads to an eternal precipice.” - Catholic St. Leo of Patara

I was watching souls going down into the abyss as thick and fast as snowflakes falling in the winter mist. - Catholic St. Benedict Joseph Labre

The majority of men shall not see God, excepting those who live justly, purified by righteousness and by every other virtue. - Orthodox Catholic St. Justin the Martyr

The majority of souls appear before the Judgment empty-handed. They did nothing worthy of a good eternity. - Catholic Venerable Mary of Agreda

“All infidels and heretics are surely on the way to being lost. What an obligation we owe God! for causing us to be born not only after the coming of Jesus Christ, but also in countries where the true faith reigns!

“I thank Thee, O Lord, for this. Woe to me if, after so many transgressions, it had been my fate to live in the midst of infidels or heretics!” - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

Brethren, the just man shall scarcely be saved. What, then, will become of the sinner? - Orthodox Catholic St. Arsenius

If the just man shall scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly man and the sinner appear? - I St. Peter 1:18

I fear that Last Day, that day of tribulation and anguish, of calamity and misery, of mist and darkness, that Day on which, if the just have reason to fear, how much more should I, an impious, wretched, and ungrateful sinner! - Catholic Blessed Sebastian Valfre

Meditate on the horrors of Hell - which will last for eternity because of one easily committed mortal sin. Try hard to be among the few who are chosen. Think of the eternal flames of Hell, and how few there are that are saved. - Catholic St. Benedict Joseph Labre

The Ark, which in the midst of the Flood was a symbol of the Church, was wide below and narrow above; and, at the summit, measured only a single cubit. […] It was wide where the animals were, narrow where men lived: for the Holy Church is indeed wide in the number of those who are carnal-minded, narrow in the number of those who are spiritual. - Orthodox Catholic Pope St. Gregory the Great

In the Great Deluge in the days of Noah, nearly all mankind perished, eight persons alone being saved in the Ark. In our days a deluge, not of water but of sins, continually inundates the earth, and out of this deluge very few escape. Scarcely anyone is saved. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

Out of one hundred thousand sinners who continue in sin until death, scarcely one will be saved. - Orthodox Catholic St. Jerome

In the Great Deluge in the days of Noah, nearly all mankind perished, eight persons alone being saved in the Ark. In our days a deluge, not of water but of sins, continually inundates the earth, and out of this deluge very few escape. Scarcely anyone is saved. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

Get out of the filth of the horrible torrent of this world, the torrent of thorns that is whirling you into the abyss of eternal perdition. […] This torrent is the world, which resembles an impetuous torrent, full of garbage and evil odors, making a lot of noise but flowing swiftly passed, dragging the majority of men into the pit of perdition. - Catholic St. John Eudes

Oh how much are the worldlings deceived that rejoice in the time of weeping, and make their place of imprisonment a palace of pleasure; that consider the examples of the saints as follies, and their end as dishonorable; that think to go to Heaven by the wide way that leadeth only to perdition! - Catholic St. John Southwell

Nor should we think that it is enough for salvation that we are no worse off than the mass of the careless and indifferent, or that in out faith we are, like so many others, uninstructed. - Orthodox Catholic St. Bede the Venerable

We owe God a deep regret of gratitude for the purely gratuitous gift of the true faith with which he has favoured us. How many are the infidels, heretics and schismatics who do not enjoy comparable happiness? The earth is full of them and they are all lost! - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

So many people are going to die, and almost all of them are going to Hell! So many people falling into hell! - Catholic Bl. Jacinta of Fatima

St. Teresa, as the Roman Rota attests, never fell into any mortal sin; but still Our Lord showed her the place prepared for her in Hell; not because she deserved Hell, but because, had she not risen from the state of lukewarmness in which she lived, she would in the end have lost the grace of God and been damned. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

They who are to be saved are saved as Saints; and they who wish to be saved as imperfect souls, shall not be saved. - Orthodox Catholic Pope St. Gregory the Great

They who are enlightened to walk in the way of perfection, and through lukewarmness wish to tread the ordinary path, shall be abandoned. - Catholic Blessed Angela of Foligno

If you want to be certain of being in the number of the Elect, strive to be one of the few, not one of the many. And if you would be quite sure of your salvation, strive to be among the fewest of the few; that is to say, do not follow the great majority of mankind, but follow those who enter upon the narrow way, who renounce the world, who give themselves to prayer, and who never relax their efforts by day or night, so that they may attain everlasting blessedness. - Catholic St. Anselm

Live with the few if you want to reign with the few. - Orthodox Catholic St. John Climacus

Many begin well, but there are few who persevere. - Orthodox Catholic St. Jerome

The saints are few, but we must live with the few if we would be saved with the few. O God, too few indeed they are; yet among those few I wish to be! - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

Those who are saved are in the minority. - Catholic St. Thomas Aquinas

If you wish to imitate the multitude, then you shall not be among the few who shall enter in by the narrow gate. - Orthodox Catholic St. Augustine

Notwithstanding assurances that God did not create any man for Hell, and that He wishes all men to be saved, it remains equally true that only few will be saved; that only few will go to Heaven; and that the greater part of mankind will be lost forever. - Catholic St. John Neumann

There are few, not many, who enter in at the narrow gate and find the strait way to eternal life. - Orthodox Catholic Origen

The path to Heaven is narrow, rough and full of wearisome and trying ascents, nor can it be trodden without great toil; and therefore wrong is their way, gross their error, and assured their ruin who, after the testimony of so many thousands of saints, will not learn where to settle their footing. - Catholic St. Robert Southwell

“So that you will better appreciate the meaning of Our Lord’s words, and perceive more clearly how few the Elect are, note that Christ did not say that those who walked in the path to Heaven are few in number, but that there were few who found that narrow way.

“It is as though the Saviour intended to say: The path leading to Heaven is so narrow and so rough, so overgrown, so dark and difficult to discern, that there are many who never find it their whole life long.

“And those who do find it are constantly exposed to the danger of deviating from it, of mistaking their way, and unwittingly wandering away from it, because it is so irregular and overgrown.” - Orthodox Catholic St. Jerome

It is granted to few to recognise the true Church amid the darkness of so many schisms and heresies, and to fewer still so to love the truth which they have seen as to fly to its embrace. - Catholic St. Robert Bellarmine

Ah! How very small is the kingdom of Jesus Christ! So many nations have never had the faith! - Catholic St. Peter Julian Eymard

“We were so fortunate to be born in the bosom of the Roman Church, in Christian and Catholic kingdoms, a grace that has not been granted to the greater part of men, who are born among idolaters, Mohammedans, or heretics. […] How thankful we ought to be, then, to Jesus Christ for the gift of faith!

“What would have become of us if we had been born in Asia, in Africa, in America, or in the midsts of heretics and schismatics? He who does not believe is lost. He who does not believe shall be condemned. And thus, probably, we also would have been lost. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

So vast a number of miserable souls perish, and so comparatively few are saved! - Catholic St. Philip Neri

For thus it shall be in the midst of the earth, in the midst of the people, as though a few olives that remain should be shaken out of the olive tree, or grapes when the vintage is ended. - Isaias 24:13

And it shall be as when a man gathers in the harvest which remains. […] And the fruit thereof that shall be left shall be as a single cluster of grapes; and as the shaking of the olive tree: two or three berries on the top of the bough, of four or five on the top of the tree, says the Lord, the God of Israel. - Isaias 17:5-6

“That those who walk in the way of salvation are the smaller number is due to the vice and depraved habits imbibed in youth and nourished in childhood.

“By these means Lucifer has hurled into Hell so great a number of souls, and continues thus to hurl them into Hell every day, casting so many nations from abyss to abyss of darkness and errors, such as are contained in the heresies and false sects of the infidels. - Catholic Venerable Mary of Agreda

Yes, indeed, many will be damned; few will be saved. - Catholic St. Benedict Joseph of Labre

The holy man is perished from off the earth, and there is no one upright amongst men: they all lie in wait for blood, every one. […] He who is best among them is like a brier, and he who is righteous as the thorn. - Micheas 7:2,4

But that which brings forth thorns and briers is reprobate, and very near unto a curse, whose end is to be burnt. - Hebrews 6:8

I do not speak rashly, but as I feel and think. I do not think that many priests are saved, but that those who perish are far more numerous. - Orthodox Catholic St. John Chrysostom

A great number of Christians are lost. - Catholic St. Leonard of Port Maurice

Bad confessions damned the majority of Christians. - Catholic St. Teresa of Avila

Christ’s flock is called “little” (Luke 12:32) in comparison with the greater number of the reprobates. - Orthodox Catholic St. Bede the Venerable

The greater number of Christians today are damned. The destiny of those dying on one day is that very few - not as many as ten - went strait to Heaven; many remained in Purgatory; and those cast into Hell were as numerous as snowflakes in mid-winter. - Catholic Blessed Anna Maria Taigi

The common opinion is that the greater part of adults is lost. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

Among adults there are few saved because of sins of the flesh. […] With the exception of those who die in childhood, most men will be damned. - Orthodox Catholic St. Remigius of Rheims

It is as though Jesus said: “O My Father, I am indeed going to clothe myself with human flesh, but the greater part of the world will set no value on my blood!” - Orthodox Catholic St. Isidore of Seville

Nothing afflicts the heart of Jesus so much as to see all His sufferings of no avail to so many. - Catholic St. John Mary Vianney

O Jesus! Remember the sadness that Thou didst experience when, contemplating in the light of Thy divinity the predestination of those who would be saved by the merits of Thy sacred passion, thou didst see at the same time the great multitude of reprobates who would be damned for their sins, and Thou didst complain bitterly of those hopeless, lost, and unfortunate sinners. - Catholic St. Bridget of Sweden

The greater part of men will set no value on the blood of Christ, and will go on offending Him. - Orthodox Catholic St. Isidore of Seville

Take care not to resemble the multitude whose knowledge of God’s will only condemns them to more severe punishment. - Catholic Blessed John of Avila

If you wish to imitate the multitude, you shall then not be among the few who shall enter in by the narrow way. - Orthodox Catholic St. Augustine

The multitude was cast out. - St. Matthew 9:25

How few the Elect are may be understood from the multitude being cast out. - Orthodox Catholic St. Hilary of Poitiers

Taking into account the present development of humanity, only a limited number of the human race will be saved […] many will be lost. - Catholic Lucy of Fatima

All persons desire to be saved, but the greater part, because they will not adopt the means of being saved, fall into sin and are lost. […] In fact, the Elect are much fewer than the damned, for the reprobate are much more numerous than the Elect. - Catholic St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori

Shall we all be saved? Shall we go to Heaven? Alas, my children, we do not know at all! But I tremble when I see so many souls lost these days. See, they fall into Hell as leaves fall from the trees at the approach of winter. - Catholic St. John Mary Vianney

Behold how many there are who are called, and how few who are chosen! And behold, if you have no care for yourself, your perdition is more certain than your amendment, especially since the way that leads to eternal life is so narrow. - Catholic St. John of the Cross

“The first death is of our fleshly bodies. The second death is in reference to the destruction of our souls, as that will be the consequences for those names not found written in the book of life.”

The second death refers the death of the souls, and bodies, of sinners in hell.

Something for the John Hagee Ministry’s Halo Club of the Golden Fleeced

Where does a “Prayer Shawl” come from? Hagee explains the “mystery of the prayer shawl…designed by Gawd Himself.”

Over the past 30 years, Hagee has sold (”presented to the nations of the world”) tens of thousands of prayer shawls made in Israel by a “pious family of Jews” who finish the “tzitzits, which spells ‘our God is one’” with handknots.

These “prayer shawls” are not unique to the Hageeites. Many Judaizing Zio-christian charismatic evangelical ministries sell them, along with other items of Judaica including kippas and shofars (rams’ horns).

“It’s Hebrew gematria signifies the 613 laws that the observant Jews of Israel keep to this day.” “Joseph is an observant Jew, and he’s tying the knots by hand so that all of the gematria, and all the knots and coils, are exactly right.”

“We have this expression of praise and worship that God has given us, because whenever a Jewish person wore it, a Jewish man wore it, he was immediately in his own place of prayer and worship.

“Tens of thousands of you have purchased these for the last 30 years, and we just wanted you to see today how authentic they are, how dedicated this family is, to make sure what you have is exactly the kind of prayer shawl that Jesus wore as an observant Jew. Blessings to you and all who have purchased one of these beautiful prayer shawls.”

Does this sound like a snake oil pitch? Never mind that the tassels are only supposed to be on the four corners, if I recall the Bible instructions. It didn’t say anything about gold embroidery, either.

Closes with the JHM sales pitch.

Send $499.99 if you want the mantle of the Holy Ghost and $999.99 if you don’t.

Pardon the sarcasm. Actually these “prayer shawls” sell online for only $80.00.

And “pious Joseph,” being paid ridiculously well for tying knots on camera, is surely laughing at the gullible John Hagee Ministry Goyim. Pious, observant Jews would never sell “real” sacred items to the unclean Goyim.

    Awesome word, Bro Nathanael.

You are definitely on the right track here.

    Quite the horde.

I did not know there were so many mindless morons, blind followers of the blind, incapable of thinking for themselves, incapable of seeking out better quality individuals, not to follow, but by whom to be inspired as they live their own individual lives.

    That is good to know.

    Thank you for the information.

The Rapture that John Hagee is talking about is the disappearing act he and his followers will make in the last days with all the money.

  44. Dave Phillips January 5, 2015 @ 8:21 pm

    Greetings Brother

I so much appreciate your stance on educating us “dogs” on the Jewish scurge, and have learned much from you. I wonder how you are still alive, and thank God for your ministry.

However, I must disagree on your latest video about the Rapture of the Church. Although I completely disagree with Hagee’s boot-licking of the Jews and Israel, I am in agreement with him about the Rapture, at least in general. Maybe not all of the histrionics, either!

The Apostle Paul was revealed a mystery (he said this at least seven times) by the Lord Jesus Christ, which was hidden since the foundation of the world.

In fact, the overarching purpose of Christ’s death on the cross for All (Christ’s earthly ministry was to the JEWS only) wasn’t revealed until Paul becoming an apostle. This mystery contains, and explains, the rapture. Sure, the word “rapture” is not in the Bible, but neither is the word Bible.

We are told to compare scripture with scripture, as the Bereans did. “Consider what I say, and God will give you understanding,” said Paul.

Compare the Rapture events with Christ’s Second coming, and you will see two completely different events happening.

I believe the Rapture will bring to an immediate end the dispensation of Grace, and usher in, but not immediately, the dispensation of Tribulation, or Wrath. “We (the Church, the Body of Christ) are not appointed unto wrath” said Paul.

Paul told us to “be ye followers of me (Paul)”, as he was the first to be saved by Grace. Who gave him this authority to say this? Was he wrong in saying that? If he was wrong, or usurped his authority, then we should completely disregard Romans through Philemon and cast it aside.

    In Christ,
    Brother Dave Phillips

  45. Brother Nathanael January 5, 2015 @ 9:02 pm

    @Dave Phillips

One component of the “mystery” that St Paul discloses in its myriad aspects is the same “mystery” that Christ revealed to the 12 Apostles during his sojourn on earth and subsequent sending of the Holy Spirit as displayed and played out in the Book of Acts.

That “mystery” was that the Gentiles would be partakers of the promises given to the “Israel of God,” that is, The Church.

Christ informed His 12 disciples at the very beginning of His ministry that “Many shall come from the east and west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but the children of the Kingdom (Jews) would be cast out.”

Thus, your argument that St Paul was the ‘first” to be revealed this, is INCORRECT. Sorry about that.

As regards “wrath,” the “DAY OF WRATH” is ALWAYS the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.

St Paul makes this very clear in his Epistles to the Church in Thessalonica that Christ “delivered us from the wrath to come,” which would be Christ “coming with his holy angels in FLAMING FIRE to destroy those who are disobey the Gospel.”

As St Paul said in another place, “anyone who does not love the Lord Jesus let him be anathema.”

Your “Great Tribulation” never happened. But the “tribulation” that occured in 70 AD was predicted by Christ in the Gospels of St Matthew, chapter 24 and St Mark, 13.

The Jewish historian, Josephus, recorded the HORRORS of that “tribulation” in his “Jewish Wars.”

When Christ said (and St Peter reiterated the same in Acts 2), “the sun shall be darkened, etc.” this is apocalyptic language signifying a radical change in God’s dealings with the world.

Christ’s “coming” in apocalyptic passages most often refers to a “visitation” of His overturning of the status quo. It sometimes refers to an actual “appearance” in various forms, signs, and symbols, confirming a radical alteration of the world’s order.

Bottom Line: If you want to “prove” your rapture theory dear Dave Phillips, (you certainly did not do that by any stretch of the imagination in your comment above), you’re going to have to come up with some more cogent “comparisons” of Scripture with Scripture.

I do not give my “own” opinions (as you apparently do) with regard to the interpretation of Holy Writ, but rely on the Fathers of the Orthodox Church:

Holy men who purified their hearts so as to be competent to teach such as St John Chrysostom, St Cyril of Alexandria, St Cyril of Jerusalem, St Andrew of Crete, FOR the CORRECT interpretation of Scripture and how to “compare” Scripture with Scripture.

Nowhere do they teach a “rapture” of which teaching did not appear until 1827 via a “revelation” of the deranged Plymouth Brethren Protestant preacher John Nelson Darby, confirmed 3 years laters in another “revelation” in a feverish dream of a Protestant teen age girl.

I began my studies of the Fathers of the Orthodox Church ever since my Baptism in 1987.

I began reading the Bible from cover to cover, Old and New Testaments, in 1971 ever since I said the “sinners prayer” in a Messianic (’Jews for Jesus’) congregation.

I began reading the Old Testament when I was 6 years old as a Jewish child (I heard it being read in Sabbath Services prior to that young age) up through my early adult years.

    +Brother Nathanael Kapner

PS I highly recommend that you begin your own study of the Fathers of the Church @ http://www.christianbook.com/early-church-fathers-nicene-post-vols/9781565630949/pd/30947

PPS Please do not argue your point any further. Your knowledge of Holy Scriptures is obviously very shallow and incomplete.

  46. Dave Phillips January 6, 2015 @ 5:51 am

I put my trust in no man, but the Word of God.

Knowledge puffeth up. Was Origen a Father of the Church?

  47. Brother Nathanael January 6, 2015 @ 6:35 am

    @Dave Phillips

You say you “put your trust in no man” but “only in the Word of God.”

But, the Ethiopian eunuch, a “man of great authority,” demonstrated manly humility by acknowledging that he could not understand the Scriptures unless “some man should guide me.” Act Chapter 8

It was the same later (Acts 15) with regard to the question if the Gentile believers should be circumcised and be obligated to keep the law of Moses. This came about because “self-appointed teachers” misinterpreted the new polity under the New Covenant.

A Church Council was held (the FIRST Ecumenical Council to be sure) in Jerusalem to decide this question and to put forth the correct understanding of the New Covenant.

“It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us,” concluded St James, “that the Gentiles be not burden to be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment.”

St Paul taught that “God has set some in the Church, pastors, teachers, etc.”

St Paul instructed the Churches to ordain “bishops and deacons” and he laid hands on St Timothy to “guard the deposit/tradition,” that is, the correct doctrine handed down both written and verbally.

Thus, we continue to this day with the Apostolic succession of the Orthodox Church whereby “pastors and teachers” of all generations have given to us the CORRECT interpretation of Holy Writ.

The Seven Ecumenical Councils, following the first in Jerusalem, ferreted out the “errors” of men who spread their “own opinions” to the injury of the Church…and gave us the correct understanding of God in Three Persons, the Divinity of Christ, and the specifics of Christ in two natures, divine and human.

Your way of “only in the Word of God” is why the world has hundreds of Protestant sects where self-appointed “teachers” put forth that which is right IN THEIR OWN EYES.

    +Brother Nathanael

PS Origen is NOT recognized as a Father of the Orthodox Church as his teachings were condemned by the Fifth Ecumenical Council in 553 AD.

The hundreds of Protestant sects which Brother Nathanael refers to are, and historically have been the primary supporters of of Jewish interests in what was once known as America.

They have supported every war instigated by die Juden and consider themselves heroes and partriots for having committed fratricide in the two global wars instigated by Jewry.

Henry Ford warned us about those who serve as jockstraps to International Jewry.

Those of you passing by here who consider yourselves as supporters of “God’s Chosen” need to wake up and find the courage to critically think.

Critically thinking does not mean that you tune in to Bill O’Reilly and the rest of the Fox News shills for obtaining a truthful and realistic world view.

You have long been deceived in betraying note only your country, but Christ himself.

You do not need to be an expert in Mathematics and Physics, in order to know that matter of any kind, including human bodies, does not just disappear.

Have been practicing science on a high level for over thirty years and have never observed that phenomena before, it has never been reported to be possible (except for Hiroshima and Nagasaki), and where exactly do these folks believe they are being transported to?

If you are still spiritually the same person inside, then wherever you might be swept away to, you will still suffer the same pain you feel now, as only inner transformation alleviates internal pain (duh).

Have traveled to many places and my spiritual mess follows me, as it transcends physicality and only more Life lessons, faith and meditation can heal me, because that is how Life works for everyone, without exception.

It also upsets me to hear anyone state that your Soul, which is a part of the Infinite Creator, can die. It is formless and (therefore) timeless, because time is the conscious perception of a sequence of events, so it was never born and can never die.

We are all children of God, who gave us all Life and Free Will, and loves us completely, regardless of whatever mistakes we might make. We will all suffer horribly for our mistakes, but the Lord Almighty always forgives us until we figure it out.

The beautiful aspect of Life is you need not go anywhere to be with the Ultimate.

Dave Phillips: “I put my trust in no man, but the Word of God.”

Does God speak directly to you?

    No?

Do you believe St. Paul got it right?

    Yes?

    Was St. Paul a man…?

My point Dave, is that in order to be a Christian you definitely DO have to put your faith in other men. Have faith that men like Sts. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, James, etc, etc, etc, got it right.

And not just them either. The men who translated the Bible you’re reading need to have gotten it right. Then there are the printers….

Parts of the Bible are very exceedingly difficult to comprehend. As Brother Nate points out, the Ethiopian Eunuch needed someone to explain holy scripture to him. God sent him St. Philip….

While you’re headed in the right direction you’re not on the correct path - or you wouldn’t have said something so incorrect.

Nativity According to the Flesh of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

At Christmas we celebrate the birth as a man of the Son of God, the one who together with the Father and the Holy Spirit is truly God from all eternity. Thus, we sing in the Church:

“Today the Virgin gives birth to the Transcendent One, and the earth offers a cave to the Unapproachable One!
    Angels, with shepherds, glorify Him!
The wise men journey with the star!
Since for our sake the Eternal God is born as a little child” (Kontakion).

The celebration of the feast of the Nativity of Christ in the Orthodox Church is patterned after the celebration of the feast of the Lord’s Resurrection.

A fast of forty days precedes the feast, with special preparatory days announcing the approaching birth of the Saviour. Thus, on St Andrew’s Day (November 30) and St Nicholas Day (December 6) songs are sung to announce the coming birthday of the Lord:

    “Adorn yourself, O Cavern.
    Make ready, O Manger.
O Shepherds and wisemen, bring your gifts and bear witness.
For the Virgin is coming bearing Christ in her womb.” (Vesperal Hymn of St Nicholas Day)

On the eve of Christmas, the Royal Hours are read and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil is served with Vespers.

At these services the Old Testament prophecies of Christ’s birth are chanted, emphasizing the prophecy of Micah which foretells Bethlehem as the birthplace of the Saviour, and the prophecies of Isaiah about the appearance and character of the Messiah:

“The Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel, which translated is, God with us (Is 7:14-15).

“God is with us, understand all ye nations, and submit yourselves, for God is with us (Is 8:9).

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end (Is 9:6-7).”

Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia conducted the divine services on Christmas Eve in the morning, and at night the Liturgy of the Nativity at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, with Dmitri Medvedev and Svetlana Medvedeva attending.

Vladimir Putin’s tradition is to visit a different church usually in rural areas for the Nativity each year. He can be seen at 1:00:20.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVmBwWoCCXw

This year, Putin was at the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady Cathedral among hundreds of worshippers in Voronezh.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQYf8LsD1dc

These solemn divine services start with the Royal Hours, which are conducted only three times a year. The Liturgy of St Basil the Great is held on Christmas Eve.

The Christmas service talks about the great event when a new era of mankind starts.

Divine services are conducted at night and in the morning in more than 30,000 churches of the Russian Orthodox Church all round the world.

The Georgian, Serbian and Jerusalem Orthodox Churches also mark Christmas on January 7, (December 25 on the canonical Julian Calendar), and the ecclesiastical day of Nativity starting at 6 pm. on January 6.

“Today the Virgin gives birth to the Transcendent One,
And the earth offers a cave to the Unapproachable One!
    Angels, with shepherds, glorify Him!
The wise men journey with the star!
Since for our sake the Eternal God is born as a little child (Kontakion).”

The troparion of the feast making a polemic against the worship of the sun and the stars and calling for the adoration of Christ, the True Sun of Righteousness (Mal 4:2), who is Himself worshiped by all of the elements of nature:

“Thy Nativity, O Christ our God, has shone to the world the light of wisdom!
For by it, those who worshiped the stars were taught by a star to adore Thee, the Sun of Righteousness and to know Thee, the *Orient from on high.
O Lord, glory to Thee! (Troparion).

(*Lk 1:78, translated as Dawn or Day spring).

The Nativity of Christ has long been counted as one of the Twelve Great Feasts of the Orthodox Church.

It is one of the greatest, most joyful and wondrous events in the history of the world.

The angel said to the shepherds, “Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, Who is Christ the Lord.

“And this shall be a sign unto you: you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

“Then suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly hosts, glorifying God and saying: Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Those who heard these things were astonished at what the shepherds told them concerning the Child. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen” (Luke 2:10-20).

Thus the Nativity of Christ, a most profound and extraordinary event, was accompanied by the wondrous tidings proclaimed to the shepherds and to the Magi. This is a cause of universal rejoicing for all mankind, “for the Savior is Born!”

    Christ is Born!

    Glorify Him!

The Jews are planning their rebuilt Solomon’s Temple and the destruction of the Mosques on Temple Mount, thus precipitating WW III.

In the meantime, the Jews are destroying the White Christian civilization of the U.S. which was once great.

What John Hagee should tell his Christian supporters is that the Jews they adore are planning their destruction through wars, poisons and mongrelization and multi culturalism so there won’t be any White Christian majority in the U.S. anymore. What few White Christians are left will be hunted down by the mercenaries controlled by the Jews.

The Bible contains a lot of prophecy, but George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” contains predictions, too, about how the Jew communists (portrayed as pigs) took over the farm and used their black dogs to enforce the rules and to kill off any farm animals that protested.

An interesting dynamic is shaping up in France: leftists still hold the stronger hand there but nationalists like Marine Le Pen are popping up with increasing frequency. Even Bridget Bardot has been put on trial - five times! - for inciting “racial hatred” against Muslims.

The Muslims, so adored by French anti-racism leftists, repay the favor by massacring a group of them. What’s not to like about that?

French nationalists should find their cause fortified.

Dear Tom (and anyone else interested),

This is my understanding of the “second death”:

Revelation 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

I personally believe the “first death”, (if I may call it that) was spent in “hell” and the “second death” is spent in the lake of fire where those who are there have no escape (no resurrection) and are “tormented day and night for ever and ever”.[see also Revelation 19:20, 20:10,15]

Before the resurrection, all the souls who had died physically went to hell. Those souls of the faith went to the upper, good part of hell- Abraham’s bosom. Those who denied the faith went to the lower, bad part of hell. (I also believe personally that even lower than the lowest part of hell was/is the lake of fire- and most probably is the molten earth’s core.)

At the sound of the last trumpet the resurrection took place and the 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel and those 144,000 souls arose and were taken to Heaven (the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, the holy city New Jerusalem, the tabernacle of God.)*

    * One must realize that Jesus’ ministry was for the lost sheep of Israel and His return in judgment was for Him and His 12 Apostles to finally judge the 12 tribes of Israel [Matthew 19:28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.]

Since I and many others today and throughout history (Justin Martyr, St. Athanasius of Alexandria, J.S. Russell, to name a few, and maybe Martin who has posted here) believe all prophecies to have been fulfilled.

I for one believe that today when a believer dies their soul does not go to hell (the “first death”) awaiting to be resurrected from it like the saints of old did. I believe they immediately inherit God’s Kingdom and go there after their physical death occurs.

I also believe that today when a non-believer (one who has not “overcome the world”) dies physically their soul no longer goes to the lower part of hell awaiting to be judged and condemned but it goes directly to the lake of fire, “which is the second death,” and where there will be no escape from it (i.e. no resurrection from it) and will be “be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Putin attended Nativity at the Protection of Our Most Holy Lady Church in Otradnoye, Vorenzh Region.

Among hundreds of worshipers in Voronezh are refugees and orphans from Ukraine housed in Church-run facilities of the Diocese of Vorenzh.

Pravolslavie.ru reported last July: “The premises built on the territory of Holy Protection Church in Otradnoye Village houses the region’s only church Center of Temporary Accommodation (CTA) for refugees, which exists solely at the expense of the Voronezh Diocese.”

Vorenezh Diocese which borders Donbass, Ukraine, along with the rest of the dioceses of the Orthodox Church, have continuously raised high levels of humanitarian and charitable aid for the Donbass people, apart from the state-sponsored humanitarian convoys, now on their 13th or 14th trip.

Putin spent time with the orphans, too. 48 or so permanently live at the diocese orphanage facility.

Maybe hand-knitted sweaters from local people have become a tradition for him. In 2011, as prime minister, he proudly wore a handmade sweater during the Liturgy of Nativity several years ago at the village church in his ancestral Turginovo.

Putin’s parents were both born in 1911, and both lived in villages near Turginovo, about 160 km northwest of Moscow in the Tversky Region. They were baptized in the village Church of the Protecting Veil of the Theotokos in 1911, the same year that they were born, according to records found in the regional archives.

The problem with leftists is that they have absolutely no respect for boundaries, or for any religion.

My Jewdar is up and I smell a rat. So far as I know, no Muslim group has claimed responsibility for the attack, although supposedly ISIS and Al Qaeda groups approve of the attack.

The perps reportedly told witnesses they were affiliated with Al Qaeda.

Yet, within just a few hours of the incident, despite the perps being very well disguised and reportedly spoke fluent French with no accent, ultra-Zionist Jew deputy mayor of Paris, Patrick Klugman announced that they’ve identified three French-born suspects. Klugman is a human rights lawyer and former president of the Union of Jewish Students of France.

The Times of Israel reports that the suspects are Said and Cherif Kouachi, French siblings of Algerian descent, and Hamyd Mourad.
    http://www.timesofisrael.com/three-identified-in-connection-with-paris-shooting/

One of the police officers killed was Ahmed Merabet (Muslim), of the 11th Arrondissement of the Paris police.

None of the police officers who came in initial contact with the murderers were armed, including Officer Merabet, the one shown seriously wounded and then executed on the sidewalk.

Daily Caller wrote: The magazine has also been critical of France’s Catholic-aligned political right, often expressed through parodies of Jesus, Mary, the pope and other Catholic figures.

Last week’s cover promised “The True Story of Baby Jesus,” based on infancy narratives from outside the Biblical canon. In the cartoon, the holy infant appears in a flash between the legs of his mother, spread apart as if in gynecologist’s stirrups.

One of the cartoonists killed on Wednesday, known professionally as “Charb,” had said that the magazine’s goal was to make “Islam as banal as Catholicism,” so it is acceptable to scrutinize and ridicule it.

Charb (Stéphane Charbonnier) had been under police protection ever since appearing on a “wanted” list in Inspire, the digital magazine of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula.

He was famously quoted during the 2012 controversy as saying “I would rather die standing than live kneeling.” Besides Charb, three other cartoonists were reportedly killed in Wednesday’s attack.

The Daily Caller pointed out that the men in this attack were far more well-trained and and orderly than the more commonly disorganized and “often improvisational style of recent Islamist attacks in the West”.

The shooters shouted “Allahu akbar” and “The prophet is avenged” while carrying out their attack.

Terror analysts also noted that they made a one-finger hand gesture, signifying Islam’s emphasis of God’s oneness, that is often featured in propaganda videos of the Islamic State terror group.
    http://dailycaller.com/2015/01/07/this-is-why-jihadis-massacred-writers-and-cartoonists-at-a-french-humor-magazine/

RT.com at 00:04 GMT reported that “the majority of officers taking part in the anti-terror operation in Reims have left the scene of the raid, French media reported, adding that it was a search operation.

“Conflicting reports said that two suspects have been arrested and one killed. Neither officials nor local media have confirmed this information.”

Then at 00:27 GMT, RT.com reported via their Ruptly Newsroom Twitter that a “2nd major anti-terror operation underway in Charleville Mézières.”
    http://rt.com/news/220523-deadly-attack-french-newspaper/

So, after conducting a well-disciplined and obviously pre-planned attack on the magazine’s offices, they drive up in a black Citreon with the license plates clearly visible?

And the French authorities quickly ascertained the identity of the shooters because one of them left his identity card in the getaway car? How convenient.

I grew up attending Catholic Church and when I was 16 I started attending Pentecostal type churches. Within the first weeks I didn’t buy the rapture doctrine.

The problems I saw is that rapturist teach that Christians will be taken before the tribulation, but they also teach that the church will be persecuted during the tribulation and that a Christian can not take the mark of the beast.

If all Christians are raptured, then why or how would they persecute them in the tribulation, since they’re all gone?

If Christians are all gone how can then can they take the mark of the beast?

I’ve got Christians I’ve known for 35+ years that I still have arguments about the rapture with.

When I asked the basis questions, I’ve gotten a lot of I don’t know and no real answers, but it doesn’t seem to stop them from believing.

Part of the senseless stupor the church is in.

1 Thessalonians 5:6 “So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.”

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Those who are “dead in Christ” are those who have picked up the cross and followed Him to the death (of self), therefore they are in Him and He is in them and they “rise up to meet Him in the air” (the spirit realm), functioning as an empty vessel (formed on the wheel of the potter) so that the kingdom of God can manifest here on earth as it is in heaven.

God is spirit and all thing concerning Him are spirit and truth.

How much have you died so that the risen Christ in you is alive and showing Himself to the world in and through you to the glory of God the Father? The bride, makes herself ready for the bridegroom, arrayed in white, spotless and without wrinkle.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

The book of Revelation is the revealing of Jesus Christ, it is spirit.

Let those who have ears to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the church I pray.

    Love and Peace
    In Christ

Thanks for exposing this, but actually the people to come up with the rapture theory were the Jesuits, who used it as a counter-attack to the Reformation.

It was a way of misdirecting the protestant’s view of the Catholic church as the beast power, which is clearly revealed in Daniel and Revelation.

The Jesuits came up with the “rapture” idea?

    Please.

    And the evidence?

So this guy Hagee is telling non born-again protestants who do not believe in the Rapture to always check at the check-in desk that the flight crew are non born-again protestants, so you will not be caught out by something you don’t believe in, and therefore are not going to bother doing in the first place.
