As you assumed, it was certainly not my intention to say what I have been accused of saying.
I strongly believe that it is a historical fact that the Romans, not the Jews, put Jesus to death and that fact has been confirmed by the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian denominations.
Although the words I chose did not make this clear, I was trying to reference accusations that have been made against the Jews and how some of those accusations have led to horrors like the Inquisition as they were permitted to go unchallenged.
While as a non-Jew, I can never fully understand the suffering that has resulted from the historically inaccurate deicide charge, as someone with German heritage, I recognize the horrors that have been perpetrated on Jews throughout history and have asked if my ancestors knew what was taking place and looked the other way or how they could not have known of the horrors taking place.

Hyperinflation would be a terrible, dislocating event, especially for the retired, but the worst-hit would be ultra-rich investors with all their wealth in currencies, derivatives and other non-productive assets. The average schmuck, if he managed to survive, would pay off his mortgage with the cost of a sandwich.
Auditing or ending the Fed will not seize, nationalize and reorganize the mega commercial banks, shredding quadrillions in unpayable toxic waste. It will simply remove a weak flank against predatory speculators.
Can anyone suggest how fixing currency to gold, a completely useless yellow metal, will result in high-wage industrial jobs, national health insurance, and a rising standard of living?
I’d be happy to show how “fiat” money makes all those things possible, without inflation.

You’re right, though I’d say if you don’t want taxes, you need tariffs, which created enough revenue to run government when you had them.
The very word tariff (import duties to protect a minimum price of domestically-produced and labor) makes Austrians cringe.
They like to claim that the Smoot-Hawley tariff prolonged the Great Depression, which is negated by the fact that:
1) imports and exports had already crashed several years prior, and the price of tariffed goods rose more slowly than tariff-free goods; and,
2) it was a global depression based on credit restriction and underdevelopment.
Infrastructure and key industries can be built on free public credit, communities can be improved through prudent investment of pensions and bank deposits.
Everything you need is already in the Constitution, Article I, Section 8.
