    The Wagner Hitler Loved

Everyone’s heard of Richard Wagner unless you live in Israel.

He’s tarred as an ‘anti-Semite’ though not a shred can be found in any of his operas.

His works are banned in Israel, and his name despised by Jews worldwide for being Hitler’s ‘composer of choice.’

But blaming Wagner because Hitler used Rienzi at his rallies is like blaming the Rolling Stones for Trump using one of their songs at the end of his Republican Convention speech.

And just because Wagner believed in the German “volk” doesn’t make him a “National Socialist” which was non-existent in his day.

In his opera, Parsifal, Wagner casts Kundry as the ‘wandering Jew’ – exiled from Palestine for mocking Christ when hanging on the Cross.

“I saw Him and laughed,” sings Kundry, and thus was cursed to roam the earth in unending rootlessness.

Since ‘political correctness’ didn’t exist in Wagner’s day, merging art with history was a laudable enterprise.

But not so with modern Jewry which uses this opera to call Wagner an ‘anti-Semite.’

They run amok with their reproach by citing his pamphlet, “Jewishness in Music,” in which Wagner decried the Jewish corruption of Germanic music.

By directing his criticism against Felix Mendelssohn and Giacomo Meyerbeer, Wagner sought to highlight “the involuntary repellence possessed by Germans due to the nature and personality of the Jews.”

Wagner perhaps had in mind Mendelsohn’s Violin Concerto…

…yes, melodious, but hardly “German,” kind of “Hebraic,” but actually, “Slavic”…totally inimical to Wagner’s ideal, as this:

    [Clip: Excerpt Valkyries March]

You see, Jews have no culture of their own but have adopted the various cultures and customs of The Diaspora.

Witness the Chasids whose garb and hats spring from Eastern Europe.

“The Jew stands solitarily in a soil-less stock,” wrote Wagner.

“Only those who unconsciously grow up within the bond of Germanic historical community can share in its creations.”

It’s creations like Wagner’s Tannhauser where in “Entrance Of The Guests” music and movement sinks below “consciousness” and a nationalist reverie arises.

    [Clip: (music)]

    The scene is very un-Jewish:

A medieval landowner and princess; white knights; hierarchical order; unified ethnicity; aristocratic with religious affect—all constituting a nationalist vision that Wagner expressed, Hitler loved…and Jews despise.

There’s nothing more contemptible in the eyes of the Jew than nationalism rooted in Gentile mythic memory.

Wherever it exists, as it did in post-Weimar Germany, Jews seek to destroy it.

You won’t hear it in Israel where Wagner is banned.

But wherever his heroic vision sounds forth beyond Israel’s borders….

…it reveals—by sharp relief—the sterility of a barren Jewish state of mind.

True as usual. Yet lies have been promulgated stating Hitler and the Nazi were into the ‘occultism of Wagner’. Here is some info I discovered:

‘Wagner spoke of “the historical misery of the Jews and the predatory bestiality Christian Germanic tyrants towards the sons of Israel”. It is all part of Wagner’s regeneration theory that the path towards regaining the lost humanity of the homeless Jews was either through their assimilation to become Germans who could then call their Fatherland home, or through Zionism (the establishment of what Wagner calls a “jerusalemisches Reich”, a Jerusalemic empire).

In this, Wagner fully anticipates Theodor Herzl who also accepted that the Jewish character had degenerated through centuries of oppression, but differed from Wagner in claiming that the only true path to the regeneration of Jewish nobility was through nationhood rather than assimilation. It is even possible that the inspiration for Herzl’s regenerationist Zionism came directly from Wagner himself.

Prior to becoming the father of Zionism, Herzl had strictly followed Wagner along the assimilationist path. Herzl belonged amongst those Jews that Wagner mentions as having properly understood his essay, when he states that rather than merely seeing in it an expression of medieval Jew-hatred, that “the more elevated Jews approved of the matter”.

Herzl clearly considered himself one of these more elevated Jews who shared Wagner’s idea that the Jews had so severely degenerated through centuries of bestial treatment by Germans, that the task of regenerating their lost humanity would be a difficult one. Judaism in Music forms part of Wagner’s Regeneration Scripts (Regenerationsschriften).

The notion that Wagner advocated Jewish assimilation as a path to regeneration might come as a shock to those raised on the usual fantastic Nazi opera conspiracy mythology surrounding Wagner, but we know definitively that this the case because Wagner said so. He uses that exact word “Assimilation” in the German text:

Yet, bizarrely, people continue to read the word “assimilation” as “extermination”. The context of the occurrence of the word “Assimilation” is as follows:

In contrast, if we were to assimilate this element in this way—so that in cooperation with us, it develops the higher education of our nobler human faculties—it is apparent that it is preferable not to conceal the difficulties of this assimilation, but that only the most open disclosure of this would be conducive to it.

The best explanation of this is given to us by historian Joachim Fest:

Even the famous sentence about the Redemption of Ahasvar that concludes the essay about “Judaism in Music” means nothing less than the annulment of the peculiar role of the Jews in society through the transformation of their relationship.

First through revolution, the opposites of Jew and non-Jew are annulled in an aesthetic world-order, where they will emerge “united and without difference” from one another. Seen from the standpoint of predominantly pre-revolutionary thinking, he saw in the Jews, not a biological element, but rather a symptom of the illness of a materialist civilisation, where once it has been overcome, the Jews are freed of the daemonic power that drives civilisation to its decay.

With Hitler it is totally different. He thought of all Jews as being undeliverable from the stigma bound to their ancestry and blood, from which they could never get away.

    From Joachim Fest’s essay.

It is even asserted that Wagner republished Judaism in Music because he wanted to emphasise how he wanted it known how badly he wished all Jews to be exterminated, whereas in fact, in the reprint he has an addendum in which he distances himself from interpretations of his essays as an expression of Medieval Jew-hatred that is “so shameful in an age of Enlightenment”.

Wagner too makes it explicit that he wants Jew and German to become “united and without difference”:

Yet, there is no doubt that from a modern post-Holocaust perspective the sort of aggressive assimilationism demanded by Wagner would tend to be interpreted as being anti-Semitic, rather than just anti-Judaic as Saul Friedländer states, since it denies them the right to a separate ethnic and religious identity.

Nonetheless, however one reads it, it remains simply unallowable to make sweeping black-and-white proclamations to the effect that all varieties of anti-Semitism and anti-Judaism can only possibly be exterminationist, and that no shades of grey along a continuum can ever exist.

While the modern accepted consensus is one of ethnic and religious pluralism, it must further be kept in mind that this was not a view that was widespread in Wagner’s time, where some liberals wanted to totally exclude Catholics, for example, from civil society. Evans tells us that:

German liberals were not so kind to Catholics, the abrogation of whose religious freedoms and civil rights they actively supported and whom they consistently regarded thereafter as primitive, backward and superstitious, in sharp contrast to their much less negative attitude towards Jews.

The difference with Wagner here is that he was equally as hostile to Catholicism as he was to the Jews—even though he counted amongst his friends both Jews and Catholics. But it is as implausible to call Wagner’s anti-Semitism exterminatory as it is to call his vehement anti-Catholicism exterminatory.

However, ideologically opposed to them he may have been, exterminatory elimination of particular religious confessions is something simply alien to Wagner’s staunchly pacifist ideology, in which violence inflicted on any sentient being—even animals—was condemned outright as a form of rapacious barbarism.

That is the reason why Parsifal is called an abject fool, as yet unenlightened by compassion for all sentient creatures, for having killed a swan in the first act of the opera.

Before anyone goes and calls Wagner’s rejection of ethnic and religious pluralism proto-Nazism, it should be recalled that in those days even socialists envisioned a society in which religious pluralism would be supplanted by a common secular and socialist humanism where religion would be relegated to the past as the “opiate of the people”.

Assimilationism, whether that of the Social Democrats or Wagner, could hardly be argued to be exactly the same thing as exterminationist anti-Semitism. In those days, assimilationism was a doctrine widely held by the progressive and liberal side of politics. That said, it must be admitted that assimilation, as much as extermination, would result in the Untergang of Judaism, and the disappearance of a unique Jewish ethnic and religious identity.

This is why Wagner goes on and on about the supposed degenerate state of the Jews resulting from centuries of mistreatment, and presses the importance of urgent cure (“regeneration”) for their fallen state.

However, that is exactly the point of the Ahasver metaphor which Wagner ends Judaism in Music with: the salvation of Jews through an Untergang or downfall of Judaism and their assimilation into the body of Christ through their acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah. It is a view that Wagner clearly persists with right till the end of his life when he writes:

The blood of the Saviour flowing from his head, from his wounds on the cross—who would commit such an outrage as to ask whether it might belong to the white or any other race?

In the same essay, Wagner welcomes the prospect of all races becoming ever the same through intermixing : . . . a possibility of the sameness of all people through the intermixing of ever similar growing races . . . a oneness only conceivable through a commonly agreed moral ground, just as we must think that the True Christianity calls us to carry out.’

What has happened is that the MANY monthly-recurring donations that came in automatically via PayPal is OVER.

This is a BIG BLOW. (I was teetering at the edge when I had PayPal, but now that it has BANNED me, I need to recover my funding base.)

It’s a real shame that Israel bans any music/operas written by Richard Wagner. There’s nothing anti-Jewish in any of this composer’s works, so it has to be that he’s Adolf Hitler’s favorite composer.

Naturally, a good deal of Wagner’s compositions are martial in nature, especially regarding the Valkyries. I’m glad you wrote an article about this composer and set the record straight, even though Israel won’t be allowing Wagner’s music to be played by orchestras anytime soon .. It’s Israel’s loss, nobody else’s.

I’m still sad to hear that you’re still having financial difficulties due to your banishment by PayPal. The service, naturally, is owned by a Jew, and he hates the fact that you’ve been preaching the Word of Jesus Christ, both in missions across the country, and in your Articles/Videos.

This Jew wants to destroy you financially, and banning you from PayPal’s his only way to do it. However, I’m glad you’re standing up to him and doing God’s work in spite of his efforts to stop you.

I pray every day that you’ll be able to continue your work unimpeded and will be sending a donation to you within a week.

God bless you now and forever.

Funny coincidence that just the other day I watched an old TV show from the 50’s with Leonard Bernstein explaining the differences between the musical styles of Jewish Felix Mendelssohn and Richard Wagner.

As I’m sure you already know, Gustav Mahler, was a Jew who converted from Judaism to Catholicism. When When asked by an exasperated Jewish friend how he could do such a thing, Mahler simply shrugged and said – “I’ve just changed my coat.”

Mahler was a superstar conductor Vienna in no small part due to his sensational interpretations of Wagner operas.

He (Mahler) is my all time favorite composer by the way.

The head of the State Department Division of Near Eastern Affairs, Gordon P. Merriam, on the staff of President Truman, warned against the partition plan on moral grounds… U.S. support for partition of Palestine as a solution to that problem can be justified only on the basis of Arab and Jewish consent.

Other wise we should violate the principle of self determination which has been written into the Atlantic Charter, the declaration of the United Nations, and the United Nations Charter…a principle that is deeply embedded in our foreign policy.

Even a United Nations determination in favor of partition would be, in the absence of such consent, a stultification and violation of the U.N.’s own charter. Merriam, added that without the consent, “blood and chaos” would follow, a prediction proven true.

An internal State Department memorandum accurately predicted how Israel would be born through armed aggression masked as defense: “The Jews will be the actual aggressors against the Arabs. However, the Jews will claim they are merely defending the boundaries of a state which were traced by the UN.

“In the event of such Arab outside aid the Jews will come running to the Security Council of the UN with the claim that their state is the object of armed aggression and will use every means to obscure the fact that it is their own armed aggression against the Arabs inside which is the cause of Arab counter attack.

    Dear +BN,

God bless you for a truly stunning Video commentary on what is a very important aspect of Western cultures and societies, and the preservation of classical learning and the folklore of a nation.

I very much enjoy the music of both Wagner and Mendelssohn for different reasons.

Wagner, besides being an innovative musical genius, to me epitomizes the essence of 19th century German Romanticism.

Wagner’s importance stems not only from the greatness and originality of his music but also from his influential concepts about the role of art in society and the nature of opera as he envisioned it.

Wagner contended that art generally, and opera in particular, must be more than just a diversion, and he deplored the popular operas and operettas turned out by some of his contemporaries.

Instead, Wagner said, opera should emulate the ancient Greek dramas in treating themes of universal psychological and spiritual importance.

The Ancient Greeks took their entertainment very seriously and used drama as a way of investigating the world they lived in, and what it meant to be human. Wagner, giving more than a nod to the importance of classic Greek drama, in fact preferred to call his operas “music dramas”.

Romanticism, a constellation of ideas and attitudes originating in philosophy and literature, dominated Western culture during the nineteenth century. In the most general terms, Romanticism prized heroic striving, larger-than-life figures, and fantasy over mundane reality.

Romanticism was fascinated with the supernatural and questions pertaining to religion and the human spirit. And it looked to both art and love not merely for fulfilling experiences but for transcendent ones.

No artist expressed the ideals of nineteenth-century Romanticism more vividly and originally than Richard Wagner.

With his “music dramas” created epic works relating epic stories derived from old European myths and medieval romances, telling of great heroes, brave women, and dark villains, of virtue, falleness, and miraculous deeds performed in a world where magic and supernatural occurrences are common.

Yet Wagner did not merely bring Romanticism to the opera stage, he lived out its ideals, and made it larger than life. No quiet artist confined to his study, Wagner participated energetically and publicly in the ideas and events of his time.

Wagner became embroiled in revolution and consorted with royalty. He saw himself as a heroic figure advancing German Romanticism, a visionary laboring mightily to create transcendent works of art. He demanded such heroism and stamina from singers and musicians to bring the transcendent art to life.

He was one of the most innovative theater artists of his era, and his ideas about stagecraft influenced many theater designers and directors since then.

Your excellent cultural commentary so reminded of a talk that the late Fr. Seraphim Rose gave back in the early 1980s, shortly before his repose.

In his talk, he underscored the importance of exposing children to secular Western classical music, literature and art, drama, and poetry, which had Christian underpinnings, as many of the Russian elders and spiritual fathers had emphasized, as it helped prepare the child’s soul for receiving Christian spiritual impressions.

And while he was speaking to an Orthodox Christian audience at that time, it’s relevant to all traditional Christians now thirty-five years after Blessed Fr Seraphim Rose’s repose. The times have only become worse since then.

    The Orthodox World-View

by Father Seraphim Rose of Platina

Before beginning my talk, a word or two on why it is important to have an Orthodox world-view, and why it is more difficult to build one today than in past centuries.

Still, it is not necessary to view the world around us as all bad. In fact, for our survival as Orthodox Christians we have to be smart enough to use whatever is positive in the world for our own benefit.

Here I will go into a few points where we can use something in the world which seems to have nothing to do directly with Orthodoxy in order to formulate our Orthodox world-view.

The child who has been exposed from his earliest years to good classical music, and has seen his soul being developed by it, will not be nearly as tempted by the crude rhythm and message of rock and other contemporary forms of pseudo-music as someone who has grown up without a musical education.

Such a musical education, as several of the Optina elders have said, refines the soul and prepares it for the reception of spiritual impressions.

The child who has been educated in good literature, drama, and poetry and has felt their effect in his own soul—that is, has really enjoyed them—, will not easily become an addict of the contemporary movies and television programs and cheap novels that devastate the soul and take it away from the Christian path.

The child who has learned to see beauty in classical painting and sculpture will not easily be drawn into the perversity of contemporary art or be attracted by the garish products of modern advertising and pornography.

The child who knows something of the history of the world, especially in Christian times, and how other people have lived and thought, what mistakes and pitfalls people have fallen into by departing from God and His commandments, and what glorious and influential lives they have lived when they were faithful to Him—will be discerning about the life and philosophy of our own times and will not be inclined to follow the first new philosophy or way of life he encounters.

One of the basic problems facing the education of children today is that in the schools they are no longer given a sense of history. It is a dangerous and fatal thing to deprive a child of a sense of history. It means that he has no ability to take examples from the people who lived in the past.

And actually, history constantly repeats itself. Once you see that, it becomes interesting how people have answered problems, how there have been people who have gone against God and what results came from that, and how people changed their lives and became exceptions and gave an example which is lived down to our own times. This sense of history is a very important thing which should be communicated to children.

In general, the person who is well acquainted with the best products of secular culture—which in the West almost always has definite religious and Christian overtones—has a much better chance of leading a normal, fruitful Orthodox life than someone who knows only the popular culture of today.

One who is converted to Orthodoxy straight from “rock” culture, and in general anyone who thinks he can combine Orthodoxy with that kind of culture—has much suffering to go through and a difficult road in life before he can become a truly serious Orthodox Christian who is capable of handing on his faith to others.

Without this suffering, without this awareness, Orthodox parents will raise their children to be devoured by the contemporary world. The world’s best culture, properly received, refines and develops the soul; today’s popular culture cripples and deforms the soul and hinders it from having a full and normal response to the message of Orthodoxy.

Therefore, in our battle against the spirit of this world, we can use the best things the world has to offer in order to go beyond them; everything good in the world, if we are only wise enough to see it, points to God, and to Orthodoxy, and we have to make use of it.

    The Orthodox World-view

With such an attitude—a view of both the good things and the bad things in the world—it is possible for us to have and to fire an Orthodox world-view, that is, an Orthodox view on the whole of life, not just on narrow church subjects.

There exists a false opinion, which unfortunately is all too widespread today, that it is enough to have an Orthodoxy that is limited to the church building and formal “Orthodox” activities, such as praying at certain times or making the sign of the Cross; in everything else, so this opinion goes, one can be like anyone else, participating in the life and culture of our times without any problem, as long as we don’t commit sin.

Anyone who has come to realize how deep Orthodoxy is, and how full is the commitment which is required of the serious Orthodox Christian, and likewise what totalitarian demands the contemporary world makes on us, will easily see how wrong this opinion is. One is Orthodox all the time every day, in every situation of life, or one is not really Orthodox at all.

Our Orthodoxy is revealed not just in our strictly religious views, but in everything we do and say. Most of us are very unaware of the Christian, religious responsibility we have for the seemingly secular part of our lives. The person with a truly Orthodox world-view lives every part of his life as Orthodox.

Let us, therefore, ask here: How can we nourish and support this Orthodox world-view in our daily life?

The first and most obvious way is to be in constant contact with the sources of Christian nourishment, with everything that the Church gives us for our enlightenment and salvation: the Church services and Holy Mysteries, Holy Scripture, the Lives of Saints, the writings of the Holy Fathers.

One must, of course, read books that are on one’s own level of understanding, and apply the Church’s teaching to one’s own circumstances in life; then they can be fruitful in guiding us and changing us in a Christian way.

But often these basic Christian sources do not have their full effect on us, or don’t really affect us at all, because we don’t have the right Christian attitude towards them and towards the Christian life they are supposed to inspire. Let me now say a word here about what our attitude should be if we are to obtain real benefit from them and if they are going to be for us the beginning of a truly Orthodox world-view.

First of all, Christian spiritual food, by its very nature, is something living and nourishing; if our attitude towards it is merely academic and bookish, we will fail to get the benefit it is meant to give. Therefore, if we read Orthodox books or are interested in Orthodoxy only to gain information—or show off our knowledge to others, we are missing the point; if we learn of the commandments of God and the law of His Church merely to be “correct” and to judge the “incorrectness” of others, we are missing the point.

These things must not merely affect our ideas, but must directly touch our lives and change them. In any time of great crisis in human affairs—such as the critical times right in front of us in the free world—those who place their trust in outward knowledge, in laws and canons and correctness, will be unable to stand.

The strong ones then will be those whose Orthodox education has given them a feel for what is truly Christian, those whose Orthodoxy is in the heart and is capable of touching other hearts.

Nothing is more tragic than to see someone who is raised in Orthodoxy, has a certain idea of the catechism, has read some Lives of Saints, has a general idea of what Orthodoxy stands for, understands some of the services, and then is unaware of what is going on around him. And he gives his children this life in two categories: one is the way most people live and the other way is how Orthodox live on Sundays and when they are reading some Orthodox text.

When a child is raised like that he is most likely not going to take the Orthodox one; it is going to be a very small part of his life, because the contemporary life is too attractive, too many people are going for it, it is too much a part of reality today, unless he has been really taught how to approach it, how to guard himself against the bad effects of it and how to take advantage of the good things which are in the world.

Therefore, our attitude, beginning right now, must be down-to-earth and nominal. That is, it must be applied to the real circumstances of our life, not a product of fantasy and escapism and refusal to face the often unpleasant facts of the world around us.

An Orthodoxy that is too exalted and too much in the clouds belongs in a hothouse and is incapable of helping us in our daily life, let alone saying anything for the salvation of those around us. Our world is quite cruel and wounds souls with its harshness; we need to respond first of all with down-to-earth Christian love and understanding, leaving accounts of hesychasm and advanced forms of prayer to those capable of receiving them.

But the true Christian life, even since the time of the Apostles, has always been inseparable from communicating it to others. An Orthodoxy that is alive by this very fact shines forth to others—and there is no need to open a “department of missions” to do this; the fire of true Christianity communicates itself without this.

If our Orthodoxy is only something we keep for ourselves, and boast about it, then we are the dead burying the dead—which is precisely the state of many of our Orthodox parishes today, even those that have a large number of young people, if they are not going deeply into their Faith.

It is not enough to say that the young people are going to church. We need to ask what they are getting in church, what they are taking away from church, and, if they are not making Orthodoxy a part of their whole life, then it really is not sufficient to say that they are going to church.

Likewise, our attitude must be loving and forgiving. There is a kind of hardness that has crept into Orthodox life today: “That man is a heretic; don’t go near him;” “that one is Orthodox, supposedly, but you can’t really be sure;” “that one there is obviously a spy.”

No one will deny that the Church is surrounded by enemies today, or that there are some who stoop to taking advantage of our trust and confidence. But this is the way it has been since the time of the Apostles, and the Christian life has always been something of a risk in this practical way.

But even if we are sometimes taken advantage of and do have to show some caution in this regard, still we cannot give up our basic attitude of love and trust without which we lose one of the very foundations of our Christian life.

The world, which has no Christ, has to be mistrustful and cold, but Christians, on the contrary, have to be loving and open, or else we will lose the salt of Christ within us and become just like the world, good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden underfoot.

A little humility in looking at ourselves would help us to be more generous and forgiving of the faults of others. We love to judge others for the strangeness of their behavior; we call them “cuckoos” or “crazy converts.” It is true that we should beware of really unbalanced people who can do us great harm in the Church. But what serious Orthodox Christian today is not a little “crazy”?

We don’t fit in with the ways of this world; if we do, in today’s world, we aren’t serious Christians. The true Christian today cannot be at home in the world; he cannot help but feel himself and be regarded by others as a little “crazy.”

Just to keep alive the ideal of other-worldly Christianity today, or to get baptized as an adult, or to pray seriously, is enough to put you into a crazy house in the Soviet Union and in many other countries, and these countries are leading the way for the rest of the world to follow.

Therefore, let us not be afraid of being considered a little “crazy” by the world, and let us continue to practice the Christian love and forgiveness which the world can never understand, but which in its heart it needs and even craves.

Finally, our Christian attitude must be what, for want of a better word, I would call innocent. Today the world places a high value on sophistication, on being worldly-wise, on being a “professional.”

Orthodoxy places no value on these qualities; they kill the Christian soul. And yet these qualities constantly creep into the Church and into our lives.

How often one hears enthusiastic converts especially, express their desire of going to the great Orthodox centers, the cathedrals and monasteries where sometimes thousands of the faithful come together and everywhere the talk is of church matters, and one can feel how important Orthodoxy is, after all.

That Orthodoxy is a small drop in the bucket when you look at the whole society, but in these great cathedrals and monasteries there are so many people that it seems as though it is really an important thing.

And how often one sees these same people in a pitiful state after they have indulged their desire, returning from the “great Orthodox centers” sour and dissatisfied, filled with worldly church gossip and criticism, anxious above all to be “correct” and “proper” and worldly-wise about church politics. In a word, they have lost their innocence, their unworldliness, being led astray by their fascination with the worldly side of the Church’s life.

In various forms, this is a temptation to us all, and we must fight it by not allowing ourselves to overvalue the externals of the Church, but always returning to the “one thing needful”: Christ and the salvation of our souls from this wicked generation.

We needn’t be ignorant of what goes on in the world and in the Church—in fact, for our own selves we have to know—but our knowledge must be practical and simple and single-minded, not sophisticated and worldly.

    Conclusion

It is obvious to any Orthodox Christian who is aware of what is going on around him today, that the world is coming to its end. The signs of the times are so obvious that one might say that the world is crashing to its end.

What are some of these signs?

—The abnormality of the world. Never have such weird and unnatural manifestations and behavior been accepted as a matter of course as in our days. Just look at the world around you: what is in the newspapers, what kind of movies are being shown, what is on television, what it is that people think is interesting and amusing, what they laugh at; it is absolutely weird.

And there are people who deliberately promote this, of course, for their own financial benefit, and because that is the fashion, because there is a perverse craving for this kind of thing.

—The multiplication of false Christs and false Antichrists. The latest candidate just this summer spent probably millions of dollars advertising his impending appearance on world television, promising to give at that time a “telepathic message” to all the world’s inhabitants.

Quite apart from any occult powers that might be involved in such events, we already know well enough the opportunities for presenting subliminal messages by radio and especially by television, as well as the fact that this can be done by anyone with the technology for breaking into normal radio and television signals, no matter how many laws there might be against it.

—The truly weird response to the new movie everyone in America is talking about and seeing: “E.T.”, which has caused literally millions of seemingly normal people to express their affection and love for the hero, a “Saviour” from outer space who is quite obviously a demon—an obvious preparation for the worship of the coming Antichrist.

(And incidentally, the movie editor of the official Greek Archdiocese newspaper in America, an Orthodox priest, has heartily recommended this movie to Orthodox people saying that it is a wonderful movie which can teach us about love, and everyone should go see it. There is quite a contrast between people who are trying to be aware of what is going on, and those who are simply led into the mood of the times.)

I could go on with details like this, but my purpose is not to frighten you, but to make you aware of what is happening around us. It is truly later than we think; the Apocalypse is now. And how tragic it is to see Christians, and above all Orthodox young people, with this incalculable tragedy hanging over their heads, who think they can continue what is called a “normal life” in these terrible times, participating fully in the whims of this silly, self-worshipping generation, totally unaware that the fool’s paradise we are living in is about to crash, completely unprepared for the desperate times that lie just ahead of us.

There is no longer even a question of being a “good” or a “poor” Orthodox Christian; the question now is: will our Faith survive at all? With many, it will not survive; the coming Antichrist will be too attractive, too much in the spirit of the worldly things we now crave, for most men even to know that they have lost their Christianity by bowing down to him.

Still the call of Christ comes to us; let us begin to heed it. The clearest expression of this call today is coming from the enslaved atheist world, where there is real suffering for Christ and a seriousness of life which we are rapidly losing or have already lost.

One Orthodox priest in Romania, Fr. George Calciu, is now near death in a communist prison for daring to challenge young seminarians and students to put off their blind allegiance to the spirit of the times and come forward to labor for Christ.

After speaking of the emptiness of atheism, he tells today’s young people: “I call you to a much higher flight, to total abandonment, to an act of courage which defies reason.

“I call you to God. To the One that transcends the world so that you might know an infinite heaven of spiritual joy, the heaven which you presently grope for in your personal hell, and which you seek even while in a state of non-deliberate revolt….Jesus has always loved you, but now you have the choice to respond to His invitation.

“In responding, you are ordained to go and bear fruit that will remain. To be a prophet of Christ in the world in which you live. To love your neighbor as yourself and to make all men your friend.

“To proclaim by every action this unique and limitless love which has raised man from the level of a serf to that of a friend of God. To the prophets of this liberating love which delivers you from all constraint, returning to you your integrity as you offer yourself to God.”

Fr. George, speaking to young people who had little inspiration to serve Christ’s Church because they had accepted the worldly opinion (common also among us in the free world) that the Church is only a set of buildings or a worldly organization, calls them and us to a deeper awareness of Christ’s Church and of how our “formal membership” in it is not enough to save us.

“The Church of Christ is alive and free. In her we move and have our being, through Christ Who is her Head. In Him we have full freedom. In the Church we learn of truth and the truth will set us free (John 8:32). You are in Christ’s Church whenever you uplift someone bent down in sorrow, or when you give alms to the poor, and visit the sick.

“You are in Christ’s Church when you cry out: “Lord, help me.” You are in Christ’s Church when you are good and patient, when you refuse to get angry at your brother, even if he has wounded your feelings. You are in Christ’s Church when you pray: ‘Lord, forgive him.’ When you work honestly at your job, returning home weary in the evenings but with a smile upon your lips; when you repay evil with love—you are in Christ’s Church.

“Do you not see, therefore, young friend, how close the Church of Christ is? You are Peter and God is building His Church upon you. You are the rock of His Church against which nothing can prevail….Let us build churches with our faith, churches which no human power can pull down, a church whose foundation is Christ….Feel for your brother alongside you. Never ask: ‘Who is he?’ Rather say: ‘He is no stranger; he is my brother. He is the Church of Christ just as I am.”

With such a call in our hearts, let us begin really to belong to the Church of Christ, the Orthodox Church. Outward membership is not enough; something must move within us that makes us different from the world around us, even if that world calls itself “Christian” and even “Orthodox.”

Let us keep and nourish those qualities of the true Orthodox world-view which I mentioned earlier: a living, normal attitude, loving and forgiving, not self-centered, preserving our innocence and unworldliness even with a full and humble awareness of our own sinfulness and the power of the worldly temptations around us.

If we truly live this Orthodox world-view, our Faith will survive the shocks ahead of us and be a source of inspiration and salvation for those who will still be seeking Christ even amidst the shipwreck of humanity which has already begun today.

Let us not forget that the US coalition is operating illegally inside Syria to begin with.

    South Front:

On Sunday, a US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet shot down a Syrian Air Force Su-22 warplane near Ja’Din in the western part of the province of Raqqah. Ja’Din is located in the area south of the town of Tabqah controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The Su-22 was supporting the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advance towards the ISIS-held town of Resafa located at the Ithriyah-Resafa-Raqqa road.

“At 6:43pm, a Syrian regime SU-22 dropped bombs near SDF fighters south of Tabqah and, in accordance with rules of engagement and collective self-defense of Coalition partnered forces, was immediately shot down by a US F/A-18E Super Hornet,” the US-led coalition said in a statement on the issue.

In turn, the Syrian Defense Ministry said that the attack was attempt to undermine the SAA effort against ISIS.

The US attack came amid the rapid SAA advance in the Resafa area. With the liberation of Resafa, the SAA controls one of the important roads heading to Deir Ezzor besieged by ISIS terrorists.

In this case, the US move is another attempt to draw red lines for the internationally recognized government of Syria.

Washington sees successful SAA operations against ISIS as a threat to the US influence in the war-torn country.

Following the incident, the Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched medium-range ground-to-ground missiles at ISIS targets in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor.

According to the IRGC, the missiles were launched from the western Iranian provinces of Kermanshah and Kordestan, flied through Iraq’s airspace and hit terrorists targets in Syria. Iran reportedly used Zolfaqar missiles.

The IRGC statement said that the missile strike was a response to the recent ISIS-claimed terrorist attack in Tehran. However, it’s clear that this missile strike was a message to the US-led coalition and US-backed forces in Syria.

The missile strike shows that Iran is capable to conduct a missile strike on joint garrisons of the US-led coalition forces and US-backed militant groups located near the villages of At Tanf and al-Zquf at the border with Iraq.

Meanwhile, according to some sources, sporadic firefights appeared between the SAA and the SDF south of Tabqah after the SDF had opposed government forces attempt to conduct a pilot rescue operation in the area.

Reports also appeared that US-led coalition forces are setting up a military facility in the town of Tabqah.

US forces are reportedly aiming to build a command center and residential buildings for its troops. According to opposition sources, the US wants to adopt the new base as a long-term base in Syria.

Despite tensions with the US-led coalition, the SAA continued operations against ISIS in the eastern Hama countryside where government forces liberated Jab al-Saad, Rasm Amoun, Hanita and Hassou al-‘Albawi and continued advancing with aim to shorten the frontline in the area.

The recent events show that the US and its allies lost a tactical initiative in the conflict and now they are attempting to stop ongoing or prevent expected SAA operations in the provinces of Raqqah and Deir Ezzor, and along the border with Iraq.

South Front: Any Aircraft of US-Led Coalition Discovered West of Euphrates River Will Be Followed By Russian Air and Ground Defenses as Targets

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the US aviation attack in Syrian airspace may be considered an “act of aggression,” and announced that is halting all interactions with the US within the framework on the memorandum of incident prevention in Syrian skies.

Now, Russian missile defense will follow any aircraft of the US-led coalition west of the Euphrates River.

“In areas where Russian aviation is conducting combat missions in the Syrian skies, any flying objects, including jets and unmanned aerial vehicles of the international coalition discovered west of the Euphrates River will be followed by Russian air and ground defenses as air targets,” the ministry announced.

The Russian military added that the US-led coalition command didn’t make an attempt to avoid the incident via the deconfliction channel with Russia.

“We consider such actions of the US command as an intentional violation of its obligations in the framework of the memo on avoiding incidents and the safety of aviation flights during operations in Syria signed on October 20, 2015.”

According to the ministry, the US action against the Syrian Air Force is an act of military aggression against the sovereign state.

“The repeated hostilities of US aviation against the legitimate armed forces of a UN member state under the guise of ‘combating terrorism’ are a gross violation of the international law and de facto a military aggression against the Syrian Arab Republic.“

On June 18, the US-led coalition downed a Syrian Air Force Su-22 jet in the western part of the Raqqah province. The Su-22 was fulfilling its mission against ISIS.

This time, the communication channel with the US is terminated, not suspended.

TASS: Russia cuts deconfliction channel with Washington after US downs Syrian jet

    Military & Defense June 19, 14:23 UTC+3

Russia will regard any flights within the area of its air force group’s operation in Syria as legitimate targets

MOSCOW, June 19. /TASS/. Moscow is terminating its communication channel with the United States under a memorandum for preventing incidents in Syria’s skies, as a consequence for the US downing a Syrian Su-22 plane, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.

“As of June 19 this year, the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation has ended its interaction with the US side under a memorandum for preventing incidents and providing for safe flights during operations in Syria and demands that the US command carry out a careful investigation and report about its results and the measures taken,” the statement reads.

“The shooting down of a Syrian Air Force jet in Syria’s airspace is a cynical violation of Syria’s sovereignty.

“The US’ repeated combat operations under the guise of ‘combating terrorism’ against the legitimate armed forces of a UN member-state are a flagrant violation of international law, in addition to being actual military aggression against the Syrian Arab Republic,” the ministry said.

Russia will regard any flights within the area of its air force group’s operation in Syria as legitimate targets, the ministry stressed.

“Any aircraft, including planes and drones of the international coalition, detected in the operation areas west of the Euphrates River by the Russian air forces will be followed by Russian ground-based air defense and air defense aircraft as air targets,” the report said.

The ministry explained the reasons for suspending the memorandum.

According to the ministry, at the moment the Syrian warplane was hit by the US fighter, Russia’s Aerospace Forces were carrying out missions in Syria’s airspace; “However, the coalition command did not use the existing communication line between the air commands of Al Udeid Air Base (Qatar) and Khmeimim Air Base to prevent incidents in Syria’s airspace.”

“We consider the actions of the US command as a deliberate default on their obligations under the memorandum on on preventing incidents and providing for safe flights during operations in Syria signed on October 20, 2015,” the Defense Ministry stressed.

On June 18, a US fighter jet from the international coalition shot down a Su-22 fighter of the Syrian Air Force using an air-to-air missile.

The Syrian warplane was carrying out a combat mission to provide air cover for government troops units, which mounted an offensive against the Islamic State terror group (outlawed in Russia) near the populated locality of al-Rasafeh.

The Syrian jet was destroyed by the attack. The pilot ejected over the area controlled by terrorists, his fate is unknown.

    Hi Brother,

I know the turmoil you are going through, I am struggling in many ways with our situation too. Hopefully we can help you soon.

I would love to be able to sponsor you. I went to a Lutheran church in my neighborhood and I was wondering if you would be maybe their guest of honor?

They were so nice and seemed open to instruction, and were really good people of God.

Thank you and we love you with all our hearts.

This porky baby faced Thatcherite cretin….

Nile Gardiner, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, doubted Moscow would follow through on its threat. Russia, for instance, did not retaliate militarily after Turkey shot down its jet in 2015, he noted.

He called the U.S. military’s decision to shoot down a Syrian jet a “welcome development.”

“Washington has sent a clear message to Moscow that it’s no longer business as usual,” he said. “For too long, the Russians have treated Syria as their own backyard.”

    …..does require `shootin’ down`.

Actually, it should read “Pentagon changes disposition of ISIS air force in Syria”

What was Syria thinking? Flying its jets over Syria like that!

The US-led coalition, for its part, argued that the Syrian aircraft had allegedly attacked Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) positions, adding that the coalition downed the Syrian jet as part of “collective self-defense of Coalition partnered forces.”

However, there’s plenty of online documentation that the location the Syrian Su-22 was conducting airstrikes against ISIS was not in the possession of the US-owned Syrian Defense Forces, as the SAA had completely skirted to the south the contact line of any SDF controlled zones.

The town of Ja’din, for example, was allegedly in SDF hands when bombed by the Su-22, but had actually been taken under control and liberated from ISIS by the SAA Tiger Forces some 8 or 10 hours earlier.

Even the notoriously pro-Syrian “opposition” 1 man operation and MI6 asset, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, considered highly authoritative in the West, admitted that the SAA was not at all engaged with the SDF, being outside of its zone of control.

A regime warplane was targeted and dropped in the skies of the al-Resafa area
    19/06/2017

The fate of the pilot of regime’s warplane is still unknown, where its warplane was dropped in the southern countryside of Al-Raqqah, the warplane was shot down over Al-Resafa area of which the regime forces have reached to its frontiers today, and sources suggested to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that warplanes of the International Coalition targeted it during its flight in close proximity to the airspace of the International Coalition’s warplanes, which caused its debris to fall over Resafa city amid an unknown fate of its pilot, the sources confirmed that the warplane did not target the Syria Democratic Forces in their controlled areas located at the contact line with regime forces’ controlled areas in the western countryside of Al-Tabaqa to the road of Al-Raqqah – Resafa.

As the report from the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights implies, the real reason the SU-22 was shot down was because it was supporting a Syrian army offensive to capture the strategically important town of Resafa from ISIS.

Resafa (ancient Sergiopolis) lies south east of Tabqah – the main base of the US backed Kurdish militia in this area on the west side of the Euphrates – and within striking distance of the main highway between Raqqa and Deir Ezzor, the eastern desert city currently besieged by ISIS.

Capturing Resafa means the Syrian armed forces are now in good position to intercept and block columns of ISIS fighters who are fleeing Raqqa for Deir Ezzor.

The Syrians and the Russians have in recent weeks complained that the US and the Kurds have been doing nothing to prevent ISIS fighters fleeing Raqqa for Deir Ezzor. In recent days there have even been reports of movements by Kurdish militia to try to block the Syrian army’s desert blitz offensive to relieve Deir Ezzor.

There are other reports of the SDF cutting deals with ISIS permitting their escape to Deir Ezzor via ratline corridors south from Raqqa across the Euphrates, the city itself sits on the east side (left bank) of the Euphrates.

The F-18 which attacked the Syrian Su-22 was launched from the USS George H W Bush in the Mediterranean. I’d read that the US aircraft carrier was in waters off the coast of Israel at the time of the launch.

The USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier is scheduled to dock in Haifa Bay for the first time in 17 years for four days starting July 1.

Russia announced yesterday that Russian missile defense will follow any aircraft of the US-led coalition west of the Euphrates River.

“In areas where Russian aviation is conducting combat missions in the Syrian skies, any flying objects, including jets and unmanned aerial vehicles of the international coalition discovered west of the Euphrates River will be followed by Russian air and ground defenses as air targets,” the ministry announced.

The MOD added that the US-led coalition command didn’t make an attempt to avoid the incident via the deconfliction channel with Russia.

“We consider such actions of the US command as an intentional violation of its obligations in the framework of the memo on avoiding incidents and the safety of aviation flights during operations in Syria signed on October 20, 2015.”

According to the MOD, the US action against the Syrian Air Force is an act of military aggression against the sovereign state.

Note that Russia did not threaten shooting down any US coalition warplanes unless Russians are directly threatened, but it would sure light them up for the Syrian Air Force.

I assume that this warning as “west of the Euphrates” also means US coalition aircraft flying their ostensible anti-Daesh airstrikes from the Mediterranean.

This means that Russian air and ground defenses will lock onto US coalition aircraft originating in the Mediterranean and tracking them as they cross Syrian air space to and from their targets and/or their assignments serving as the ISIS/Al Qaeda air force.

An aircraft can tell if a radar is simply painting it or locked onto it. For a US pilot flying illegally into Syrian air space for alleged targets west of the Euphrates, it would be like walking naked down a public street during a parade, and everyone pointing at you (and laughing). And Russia will certainly increase its troop presence with Syrian troops and make it clearly known.

It already made US coalition puppy Australia nervous. They suspended air missions over Syria some 10 hours ago.

Pentagon changes disposition of US-led coalition aircraft in Syria

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:40 P.M.) – The United States decided to re-position fighter jets belonging to the US-led international coalition, Pentagon’s spokesman Adrian Rankine-Galloway told reporters on Monday.

“As a result of recent clashes with Syrian pro-regime and Russian forces, we took precautions to change the disposition of the aircraft in Syria in order to continue fighting Islamic State, while maintaining safety of our pilots – considering the known threats on the battlefield,” he told Interfax agency.

Rankine-Galloway did not give a straight answer regarding Russia’s decision to halt participation in the Memorandum on incident prevention in Syria.

According to him, “the U.S. are always ready to work with the Russians on incident prevention to maintain safety of the coalition’s pilots during combat operations.”

“The direct channel on conflict prevention has proved its effectiveness in terms of decreasing the probability of strategic miscalculations and de-escalation of tensions,” said Rankine-Galloway.

In the meantime, the U.S. are going to work with Russia through diplomatic and military channels in order to restore the incident prevention direct line, head of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph Dunford, told the press on Monday speaking at the conference of National Press club.

More Countries Could Follow Australia in Suspending Airstrikes in Syria

In an interview with Sputnik, Russian military expert Leonid Ivashov did not rule out that more non-NATO member states may suspend their anti-Daesh air campaigns following Australia’s relevant decision.

In another development, the US-led coalition against the Islamic State has narrowed its latest airstrikes to the Daesh-held city of Raqqa after Russia declared that it would target all airborne objects west of the Euphrates, according to the coalition’s tally, released earlier this day.

“Near Raqqah, eight strikes engaged seven Daesh tactical units and destroyed 15 fighting positions and a vehicle,” the Combined Joint Task Force of Operation Inherent Resolve said in a press release documenting air operations conducted on Monday.

Hi Ho! Hi Ho! It’s off to Haifa we go!

Haifa is a major port city center for male and female prostitution generating billions of dollars for the Jewish state’s economy.

As an aside, In the 4th century, ancient Resafa became a pilgrimage town for Christians coming to venerate Saint Sergius, a Christian Roman soldier martyred in Resafa during the Diocletianic Persecution.

A church was built to mark his grave, and the city was renamed Sergiopolis. It became, after Jerusalem, “most important pilgrimage center in Byzantine Roman Oriens in the earliest era with a special appeal to the local Arabs, especially the Ghassanids.

Sputnik: US State Senator: Syria’s Assad Will Win 90% of Votes if Election Held Now

State Senator from Virginia Richard Black stated on Monday citing American intelligence sources that Syrian president Bashar Assad would win 90 percent of the vote in the country should the election be held in the nearest future.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Syrian President Bashar Assad would receive 90 percent of the vote if an election took place at the moment based on recent intelligence gathered, State Senator from Virginia Richard Black told Sputnik.

“I have had people that I worked very closely with who gather intelligence from Syria… and several interesting things come out of the reports I’ve received back,” Black noted.

“Right now I would say if you could hold an election in Syria… President Assad would probably be reelected with 90% of the vote and that’s including the terrorist occupied areas.”

Black, who is the elected representative for Loudoun County, Virginia, personally met with Assad during a visit to Syria in April 2016.

The senator said the intelligence also revealed that “people are totally supportive of President Assad and the first lady Asma Assad, who is I think one of the great first ladies of the world.”

“Totally self-sacrificing people,” the senator added. “Unlike many leaders of the world they are not greedy, they are not hoarding national wealth, they are sacrificing themselves for the future of their nation. So the people love them.”

State Senator Calls US Base in Syria a Violation of International Law
Black also stressed that there is “total unity” among the Syrian army.

“There is almost total unity of the religions. The Christians, the Alawites, the Sunnis, the Shiites, the Druze, they’re all fighting together to retain Syria,” he explained.

The Syrian government has been fighting against numerous opposition fractions and terrorist groups in a war lasting for more than six years.

Russia has supported the legitimate governance of Syrian President Bashar Assad, while the United States has backed the varied opposition groups to the government in Damascus.

Antiwar.com: What Did Sen. Richard Black Learn In Syria?

Daniel McAdams Posted on October 26, 2016

Virginia State Senator Richard Black was curious about why the US seemed to be attacking only secular countries in the Middle East. Why attack Libya? Why Syria?

So he decided to go over to Syria and see for himself. After meeting Syrian president Assad and speaking favorably about the situation with Christians under his rule, Sen. Black earned himself a place on ISIS’s “enemy list.”

For not taking the Washington line that “Assad must go” he also earned a place on the Washington Post’s “enemy list.” Are we on the wrong side in Syria? Today, with Sen. Black, on the Ron Paul Liberty Report:

Jewish hate speech against individuals like Richard Wagner is certainly a deplorable part of Jewish culture.

However, they put it all aside when there is a buck to be earned from Wagner.

The Jewish director of Apocalypse Now, whose name just escapes me, used Wagner’s “Flight of the Valkries” in the film.

I am sure he didn’t pay the Wagner Family a nickel in royalties.

  31. Ted Gorsline June 21, 2017 @ 12:36 am

Kevin Barrett has a great story on VT today about how Bnai Brith, the Jewish hate organization and enemy of free speech, is trying to keep him from visiting Canada.

Most disgusting he said they have an”Anne Frank Tree” planted at the new World Trade Center site. Can you imagine how evil that really is?

First the Mossad, organs of the Jewish state, kills 3,000 Americans at the World Trade Center, and then they plant their personal symbol of self pity – Anne Frank.

That is so genuinely evil and sick I can hardly believe it.

Moses brought to all people the Ten Commandments from God.

The Ten Commandments are simple to understand and yet many find them impossible to follow.

Zionists continue to kill the Palestinians and steal their land. How can these sins be consistent with the Ten Commandments from God?

Obviously, the sins of murder of the Palestinians and the thief of their land is incompatible with Judaism, but consistent with Zionism.

Jesus Christ had to die to ‘save’ mankind.

The masses of peoples who idolize the fraud preachings of the Hagees, crooked politicians likes of Hellary, financing them all the way to their purgatory.

It perturbes me to think of +BN’s situation (am I on my own?) — can we not make an effort to ease the undoubted financial problems besetting RJN?

You’ve seen the rest, sustain the best!

I can only conclude Christians, should +BN be forsaken perish the thought, what chance would Christ’s second coming have?

Please forgive me for changing the subject, but this has been on my mind, since it was announced recently.

Am I the only one not buying this Otto Warmbier story? First of all, this kid is/was a Jew. That should automatically raise a red flag.

It seems obvious, and certain to me that the propaganda machine is running full steam ahead, on the path to a new war against North Korea. No lie is too bad, and no lie is too small, when America intends to destroy you.

Would anyone here put it past the Americans, to have a television set in Seoul say, that is made to look like a North Korean court room? Would anyone (especially the average moron in America), know the difference if the so-called North Korean guards, were really just South Koreans in North Korean uniforms?

Hey Warmbier, I hear Haifa is nice this time of year.

    Okay, tinfoil hat off…

The Thieving and Murdering Israeli Jews Never Quit.

Indeed, which of the Ten Commandments of the Law of God don’t Zionist Nationalist Jews (Israel and in the Diaspora) violate routinely on a daily basis?

They are like termites constantly gnawing at and destroying ancient Palestinian lands, culture, peoples, industries, societies, and religions.

Israeli Soldiers Invade Palestinian Lands In Gaza

Several Israeli military vehicles invaded, Monday, Palestinian agricultural lands, in the southern and northern parts of the Gaza strip, and fired many live rounds while bulldozing the lands, close to the border fence.

Media sources said four armored bulldozers and three tanks, stationed in Sofa military base, across the border fence, advanced at least 150 meters into the Palestinian lands, northeast of Rafah.

Military surveillance drones were also flying over the invaded area, while the soldiers placed sand hills and barriers, close to the fence.

The soldiers also fired live rounds into Palestinian lands east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, forcing the Palestinians out of their lands.

Furthermore, several army vehicles and bulldozers, stationed near the Erez terminal, across the border fence in northern Gaza, invaded Palestinian lands in the area, and fired many live rounds.

In related news, Israeli navy ships fired many live rounds at Palestinian fishing boats, in Gaza territorial waters, in the northern part of the coastal region.

[Unarmed Palestinian fishermen working to feed their families are routinely murdered by the Jews and their “most moral armed forces in the world”.

Then we have Israel threatening Lebanon. And no, “southern Lebanon” is not a separate political entity the way the Jews like to portray it, it is a sovereign territorial region of Lebanon. Hezbollah is a legitimate Lebanese political party having a state recognized paramilitary branch as part of its national defense with seats on the Lebanese parliament, and not “terrorists”.

YNET: IAF commander: Israel would go ‘all-out’ if war breaks out again with Hezbollah

At the annual Herzliya security conference, Maj. Gen. Eshel says Israel can carry out same number of strikes it did during the 34 days of the Second Lebanon War—in just two or three days now; IDF chief Eisenkot stresses Israel still sees Hezbollah as its main threat and will keep thwarting its attempts to obtain advanced arms.

Israel’s Air Force commander sent a warning to Hezbollah on Wednesday, saying the IDF’s capabilities have been upgraded since the 2006 Second Lebanon War, allowing it to carry out the same number of bombings it mounted in the 34 days of war in just two or three days.

“If war breaks out in the north [of Israhell] , we have to open with all our strength from the start,” Maj. Gen. Amir Eshel said at the annual Herzliya security conference, pointing to the likelihood of international pressure for a quick ceasefire before Israel can achieve all its strategic goals.

[The Jews covet southern Lebanon since before the Jewish state declared its independence, which they tend to lump together as a annexed part of the Jewish state in their brains as part of “Greater Israel” but not yet formalized with Jewish “facts on the ground” i.e. a victorious invasion and occupation after already conducting several aggressive wars and “interventions” of Lebanon.]

Israeli politicians and generals have spoken often of an intention to hit hard in Lebanon if war breaks out, in an apparent bid to deter Hezbollah.

Eshel said in 2014 that another conflict could see Israeli attacks 15 times more devastating for Lebanon than in 2006.

But at the conference, Eshel noted that “many elements busy achieving their goals” in Syria’s civil war were interested in preventing any fresh hostilities in Lebanon, where Israel says Hezbollah has built up an arsenal of more than 100,000 rockets.

Since early in the six-year-old Syria war, Hezbollah’s energies have been focused on propping up President Bashar Assad in alliance with Iran and Russia, throwing thousands of its fighters into battle against Syrian rebels.

But the Shi’ite group has not altered its view of Israel as its foremost enemy, and Israel’s military has said it regards Hezbollah in the same way.

Although Israel has kept to the sidelines of the war in Syria, Israeli aircraft have targeted suspected Iranian arms shipments to Hezbollah, operations complicated by Russian and US air activity in the region.

“The skies of the Middle East are a lot more crowded than before, with lots of players,” Eshel said, pointing to the need for the air force to operate “surgically” to avoid “mistakes.”

On the other hand, such strikes, he said, also act as a deterrent to Hezbollah, whose missile capabilities could mean that the air force and the rest of the Israeli military will fight any future Lebanon war with their own bases under attack.

Eshel cautioned residents in southern Lebanon, a Hezbollah stronghold, to leave their homes if a new conflict erupts, saying the Iranian-backed group uses civilian homes as “launching bases for missiles and rockets.”

About 1,200 Lebanese, mostly civilians, and 160 Israelis, most of them troops fighting Hezbollah, were killed in the 2006 war, which displaced a million people in Lebanon and up to 500,000 in Israel.

    Hezbollah expanding warfare capabilities

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, who spoke at the conference on Tuesday, said the Lebanon-based terror group remains the main threat to the State of Israel.

“Hezbollah is expanding its warfare capabilities, it is grossly violating (UN Security Council) Resolution 1701, and if we look at southern Lebanon, we see this organization deployed in 200 villages and towns,” he said.

“There are tens of thousands of rockets there. We have a clear interest in preventing the transfer of advanced weapons over to Hezbollah. As was reported, there were actions made to prevent the transfer of advanced weaponry aimed at harming Israel, as was the case in recent years, and as will be the case in the future.”

While reiterating that Israel has no wish to interfere in the civil war in Syria, Eisenkot noted it still provides humanitarian aid to the war-torn country and its refugees, explaining that doing so is “our duty as Israelis and as Jews.”

The chief of staff also spoke about Iran’s influence on the region. “We see the efforts of Iran in Lebanon, but not only there,” he said, noting this influence is prominently felt in places like Syria and the Gaza Strip.

“Iran perceives itself as a regional power,” Eisenkot explained, and in thinking so, it acts as one, giving Hezbollah “more than $800 million a year” to advance its cause.

The IDF chief stressed that “stopping the development of Iran’s military industry is a security objective for the entire region,” and not just for Israel.

“The global effort should be that Iran is not the next North Korea,” he said. “Two days ago, there was a shooting from Iran to targets in Syria. It was meant to make a point.”

Lebanon formally declared Israel an enemy state in 1949, with which it currently has an armistice treaty, and nothing has changed since then.

Israel–Lebanon relations have never existed under normal economic or diplomatic conditions.

Israeli citizens or any other person who holds any passport bearing stamps, visas, or seals issued by Israel are strictly prohibited from entry to Lebanon and may be subject to arrest or detention for further inspection.

In 2008 A Pew Research Center survey found that negative views concerning Jews were most common in Lebanon, with 97% of Lebanese having unfavorable opinion of Jews.

In a 2011 survey again by the Pew Research Center, on the Muslim-majority Middle Eastern countries polled held strongly negative views of Jews.

In the questionnaire, only 3% of Lebanese reported having a positive view of Jews.

The recent Judaized Wonder Woman remake starring Israeli Jewess Gal Gadot, who served in the IDF during the Israel-Lebanese War of 2006, has been blocked from being released at cinemas anywhere in Lebanon by the government’s Ministry of Economy and Trade,

The film is directed by Patty Jenkins [Shabbos goy], with a screenplay by Allan Heinberg [Jew] and a story by Heinberg [Jew], Zack Snyder [Jew], and Jason Fuchs [Jew].

Poached from Wikipedia: On June 7, Variety reported that a Tunisian court suspended the theatrical release of Wonder Woman after a lawsuit brought by the Al-Chaab party and the Tunisian Association of Young Lawyers to have the film blocked due to Gadot’s Israeli citizenship, military service, and public comments in support of the Israeli military during the 2014 war in Gaza.

Jordan was reportedly also considering a ban of the film and suspended screenings pending a decision, but on June 11, Al Bawaba reported that the government decided not to do so, as there was no legal precedent for it.

I see we’re going off topic here… But I agree Wagner is a legend.

The Jews seldom produce anyone of true stature in any of the arts, sciences, etc. Einstein is known to be an overrated scientist though the Jews have succeeded in turning him into a phony icon in popular culture and the mass media.

Bob Dylan is another Jewish fraud finally being exposed as a career plagiarist…

    http://www.nationalreview.com/article/448806/bob-dylans-nobel-speech-plagiarism

For many decades Jewish icons and actors in America like Howard Stern and Adam Sandler have promulgated filth on American airwaves. If some Jews have actually contributed genuine talent to the arts it is mostly in spite of (and not because), their Jewishness.

Jews in the arts that contributed most to American culture tend to be assimilated Jews (Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel and others) who embraced their native country’s culture and customs, and not those of Judaism.

And where are the many Christian philanthropists and millionaires who could contribute much to this website?

Why don’t Christians act united in the cause for Christ as the Jews do for themselves?

RT: Russian Su-27 warns off NATO [unk which country] F-16 trying to approach Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu’s passenger aircraft over Baltic (VIDEO)

A NATO F-16 fighter jet has tried to approach the Russian defense minister’s plane above the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea. The plane was warded off by a Russian Su-27 escorting the minister’s aircraft.

Russian plane was en route to the city of Kaliningrad, a western Russian exclave between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea, where Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu is scheduled to discuss security issues with defense officials on Wednesday.

The incident was first reported by journalists of Russian state news agencies on board Shoigu’s plane.

While one NATO aircraft tried to approach the Russian airplane, a Russian Su-27 fighter jet got in its way and tilted its wings, apparently showing its arms. The F-16 then flew away.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that he has no information about the incident.

“It’s probably better to ask the Defense Ministry,” Peskov said in answer to journalists’ questions.

The Alliance was not aware that the Russian Defense Minister was on board, a NATO representative told TASS, stating that the F-16 made a “standard” check as Shoigu’s plane did not identify itself.

“We consider the actions of Russian pilots during the encounter as safe and professional,” the representative said.

On Shoigu’s way back from Kaliningrad, his escort was bolstered by several Su-34 jets, according to reporters.

A number of NATO planes followed the Russian Defense Minister’s plane at a distance without making attempts to get any closer.

On Monday a US RC-135 spy plane flying toward the Russian border made a “provocative turn” toward a Baltic Fleet Su-27, which had been scrambled for an interception mission.

The encounters of Russian and US warplanes over the Baltic Sea waters have apparently become more frequent lately.

A Russian fighter jet intercepted a small group of US warplanes, including Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker military refueling aircraft, two B-1 bombers and one B-52, during the BALTOPS (Baltic Operations) annual training exercise on June 10.

Earlier in June, the Russian military intercepted another B-52 bomber in the same area, and escorted by an Su-27 fighter away from Russian territory.

Wagner was a pacifist. Never forget.

Can’t we enjoy his music and keep the ethnic politics out? Appreciate beauty instead of smut.

Let’s face it: most of the great composers were German. Schubert, Bruckner, von Weber, Mozart (Austrian born), Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Wagner, et. al. France and Italy have Bizet, Verdi, and Puccini. Russia has Tchaikovsky and Korsakov.

Georg Solti and Leonard Bernstein conducted his music with Solti being the first to conduct the entire “Ring Cycle.” They were Jewish and conducted for the paycheck.

Jascha Heifetz (Jewish) was beaten with an iron bar for playing Richard Strauss’ music. For playing music someone didn’t like! He never played his violin again and went into teaching his craft.

Jews are truly vindictive. That’s how I describe the religion, I mean cult, cough, cough.

For good measure, buy the Wagner Operas conducted by Herbert von Karajan. Ha ha.

Last point. Wagner was a prodigy from the time he was a kid. Listen to his one and only “Symphony in C Major” written at age 19. It sounds like a mature Schubert symphony. Too bad he didn’t write more symphonies.

The only reason Wagner gets a bum rap here and there is because Hitler loved his music.

    Nothing else. It’s silly.
