    Trump Takes A Dip In The Jewish Swamp
    By Brother Nathanael Kapner

    He made it.

    After all the flak he caught, Trump’s in the White House.

    He’s been signing executive orders, one of them sucking the life out of ObamaCare.

    But Jared Kushner, Trump’s Jewish son-in-law, made it too.

    Netanyahu got his mole in the White House, an ‘Israel Firster’ for sure.

    I don’t recall anyone voting for Kushner, but I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade…even though it did rain at the inauguration.

    And Chuckie Schumer, Jewish senator from New York, drizzled away with the usual Jewish line.

    [Clip: “Whatever our race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, whether we are immigrant or native-born, whether we live with disabilities or do not, in wealth or in poverty we are all exceptional in our commonly held, yet fierce devotion to our country, and in our willingness to sacrifice our time, energy, and even our lives to making it a more perfect union.”]

    Same old slop. Stitching together the mismatched and calling it a ‘perfect union’ is why Hillary lost.

    The fed-up majority refused this Frankenstein of ‘identity groups’ and rallied around a nationalist vision instead.

    [Clip: “We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power. From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only America first, America first.”]

    “Oh, that’s anti-Semitic,” moaned the ADL last spring when Trump first used the phrase. “That was Charles Lindbergh’s banner when blaming Jews for pushing war against Germany. Trump must stop!”

    He didn’t. Trump’s waging his own war.

    [Clip: “For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land. That all changes starting right here and right now because this moment is your moment, it belongs to you.”]

    Who is this “small group” that stiffed the people? What’s their names?

    Is it the hacks that shill for Israel like Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham, who grovel before AIPAC and kiss the feet of Sheldon Adelson for election bucks?

    He got prime seats for Trump’s speech, you know.

    Is it Gary Cohn, or Steven Mnuchin, Goldman Sachs boys, who got top jobs on the Trump team?

    Under Trump, Goldman is still “protected” territory.

    Or is it hawks like McCain and Cruz who bash Russia and keep the military budget and arms companies souped up?

    Trump wants an even bigger military, you know. It’s on his White House.gov website:

    “We will pursue the highest level of military readiness.”

    That’s good news for the arms industry, Israel too, joined at the hip with the Pentagon and the CIA.

    And with Jared Kushner by Trump’s side—day after day, with intelligence reports in his hands—even if America doesn’t become great…IsraHell surely will.

    Dear Bro Nat.

    What you have said is 100% accurate.

    I only hope it registers with Trunp that the Jews are, and have always been, the world’s greatest problem and that only he, if he isn’t shot first (and they will try), can correct the problem.

    I hope he has the right people around him to keep him from getting killed befor he recognizes the collection of utter human garbage that he faces and that one he sees what he is up against (hope he has read von Ribbentrop) that he drops the hammer.

  9. Mr. Pedro Aja January 25, 2017 @ 2:23 pm

    The war that Trump is waging and the ‘group’ he is fighting were anticipated in an article written for The Economist 30 years ago. As you know that magazine is owned by the Rothschilds among others. Enjoy the flashback.

    COVER: “GET READY FOR A WORLD CURRENCY”
    Title of article: Get Ready for the Phoenix
    Source: Economist; 01/9/88, Vol. 306, pp 9-10

    THIRTY years from now, Americans, Japanese, Europeans, and people in many other rich countries, and some relatively poor ones will probably be paying for their shopping with the same currency.

    Prices will be quoted not in dollars, yen or D-marks but in, let’s say, the phoenix. The phoenix will be favoured by companies and shoppers because it will be more convenient than today’s national currencies, which by then will seem a quaint cause of much disruption to economic life in the last twentieth century.

    At the beginning of 1988 this appears an outlandish prediction. Proposals for eventual monetary union proliferated five and ten years ago, but they hardly envisaged the setbacks of 1987. The governments of the big economies tried to move an inch or two towards a more managed system of exchange rates – a logical preliminary, it might seem, to radical monetary reform.

    For lack of co-operation in their underlying economic policies they bungled it horribly, and provoked the rise in interest rates that brought on the stock market crash of October.

    These events have chastened exchange-rate reformers. The market crash taught them that the pretence of policy co-operation can be worse than nothing, and that until real co-operation is feasible (i.e., until governments surrender some economic sovereignty) further attempts to peg currencies will flounder.

    But in spite of all the trouble governments have in reaching and (harder still) sticking to international agreements about macroeconomic policy, the conviction is growing that exchange rates cannot be left to themselves.

    Remember that the Louvre accord and its predecessor, the Plaza agreement of September 1985, were emergency measures to deal with a crisis of currency instability.

    Between 1983 and 1985 the dollar rose by 34% against the currencies of America’s trading partners; since then it has fallen by 42%. Such changes have skewed the pattern of international comparative advantage more drastically in four years than underlying economic forces might do in a whole generation.

    In the past few days the world’s main central banks, fearing another dollar collapse, have again jointly intervened in the currency markets (see page 62).

    Market-loving ministers such as Britain’s Mr. Nigel Lawson have been converted to the cause of exchange-rate stability. Japanese officials take seriously he idea of EMS-like schemes for the main industrial economies. Regardless of the Louvre’s embarrassing failure, the conviction remains that something must be done about exchange rates.

    Something will be, almost certainly in the course of 1988. And not long after the next currency agreement is signed it will go the same way as the last one. It will collapse. Governments are far from ready to subordinate their domestic objectives to the goal of international stability.

    Several more big exchange-rate upsets, a few more stockmarket crashes and probably a slump or two will be needed before politicians are willing to face squarely up to that choice.

    This points to a muddled sequence of emergency followed by a patch-up followed by emergency, stretching out far beyond 2018 – except for two things. As time passes, the damage caused by currency instability is gradually going to mount; and the very tends that will make it mount are making the utopia of monetary union feasible.

    The new world economy

    The biggest change in the world economy since the early 1970’s is that flows of money have replaced trade in goods as the force that drives exchange rates.

    As a result of the relentless integration of the world’s financial markets, differences in national economic policies can disturb interest rates (or expectations of future interest rates) only slightly, yet still call forth huge transfers of financial assets from one country to another.

    These transfers swamp the flow of trade revenues in their effect on the demand and supply for different currencies, and hence in their effect on exchange rates. As telecommunications technology continues to advance, these transactions will be cheaper and faster still. With unco-ordinated economic policies, currencies can get only more volatile.

    Alongside that trend is another – of ever-expanding opportunities for international trade. This too is the gift of advancing technology. Falling transport costs will make it easier for countries thousands of miles apart to compete in each others’ markets.

    The law of one price (that a good should cost the same everywhere, once prices are converted into a single currency) will increasingly assert itself. Politicians permitting, national economies will follow their financial markets – becoming ever more open to the outside world.

    This will apply to labour as much as to goods, partly thorough migration but also through technology’s ability to separate the worker form the point at which he delivers his labour. Indian computer operators will be processing New Yorkers’ paychecks.

    In all these ways national economic boundaries are slowly dissolving. As the trend continues, the appeal of a currency union across at least the main industrial countries will seem irresistible to everybody except foreign-exchange traders and governments.

    In the phoenix zone, economic adjustment to shifts in relative prices would happen smoothly and automatically, rather as it does today between different regions within large economies (a brief on pages 74-75 explains how.) The absence of all currency risk would spur trade, investment and employment.

    The phoenix zone would impose tight constraints on national governments. There would be no such thing, for instance, as a national monetary policy. The world phoenix supply would be fixed by a new central bank, descended perhaps from the IMF. The world inflation rate – and hence, within narrow margins, each national inflation rate- would be in its charge.

    Each country could use taxes and public spending to offset temporary falls in demand, but it would have to borrow rather than print money to finance its budget deficit. With no recourse to the inflation tax, governments and their creditors would be forced to judge their borrowing and lending plans more carefully than they do today.

    This means a big loss of economic sovereignty, but the trends that make the phoenix so appealing are taking that sovereignty away in any case. Even in a world of more-or-less floating exchange rates, individual governments have seen their policy independence checked by an unfriendly outside world.

    As the next century approaches, the natural forces that are pushing the world towards economic integration will offer governments a broad choice. They can go with the flow, or they can build barricades.

    Preparing the way for the phoenix will mean fewer pretended agreements on policy and more real ones. It will mean allowing and then actively promoting the private-sector use of an international money alongside existing national monies.

    That would let people vote with their wallets for the eventual move to full currency union. The phoenix would probably start as a cocktail of national currencies, just as the Special Drawing Right is today. In time, though, its value against national currencies would cease to matter, because people would choose it for its convenience and the stability of its purchasing power.

    The alternative – to preserve policymaking autonomy – would involve a new proliferation of truly draconian controls on trade and capital flows.

    This course offers governments a splendid time. They could manage exchange-rate movements, deploy monetary and fiscal policy without inhibition, and tackle the resulting bursts of inflation with prices and incomes polices. It is a growth-crippling prospect. Pencil in the phoenix for around 2018, and welcome it when it comes.

    Brother Nathanael and his desire to go to the streets of the cities with the cross he carries, is a bright spot on the horizon.

    Maybe many will lose their delusions as a result.

    It seems there is always the bad and alongside of it the good, with the bad predominating.

    This is the story since Nimrod built the Tower of Babel. As recorded in the apocryphal Book of Pseudo-Jasher, purported to be the lost book referred to in our Old Testament Joshua, it was one world government, by the evil race of mankind. The good came about by destruction from heaven.

    Nevertheless, to this day, the same concepts are hidden somewhere in the hearts of those of mankind who have an apparency of control by the same evil issue as demons of the Giants destroyed in the flood. Bible accounts of men way back in the history of men are not far off the mark after all.

    Here they are, controlling this country and obviously most of the populace of all other nations. This is through descendants in some form of Nimrod, in whatever nation, race, cult or non-Christian religion.

    Even among the latter they appear, totally deceiving millions who would consider themselves to be Bible-believing Christians. Whether they are or not is an individual matter between each one and God to be revealed at the bar of Judgement.

    This scourge on mankind is presently controlling the Halls of Power.

    There the facade erected is one of glitter, glamour, change, reversal of policies, new hope and a restoration of America First, named American Exceptionalism. politics. It has been erected for many of its citizens whose expectations lie in such. All nations share in the domination by the same forces.

    Judaism has always been a power in the world of men. It did not attempt to throttle the early Church until after the last apostle departed this live, viz. John.

    Then came Papias with his myths of a thousand year reign from Jerusalem. It is said he may have been of Hebrew descent but in any case he lived in a city with many of that race and of Judaism, whichever of the two kinds it was – of Moses or of the Oral Traditions of the Mishnah.

    Since then, Judaism particularly of the Mishnah (Talmud) and Kabbalah, has made such inroads into Christianity or Christendom, that it has throttled her nearly to death, through alteration of true doctrine with the exception of the Orthodox Church.

    Is there any hope of a spiritual reversal whole-sale? Personally, I do not think so. The problem then becomes an individual one.

    As for political, right now that is in the hands of descendants of the original European settlers and let us also not forget that the Blacks have contributed in certain areas to building up the nation – and all the migrants.

    There seem to be wars where ever this scourge from Nimrod appears. Bystanders can only gaze and hope.

    This site of our Brother spells out the dangers and the grip from Israel. Kushner in particular comes to mind, and others.

    Many a church member will hope indeed that Israel becomes the head with U.S.A. restored to grandeur as next in line. Of course that is a vain hope as to its alignment. They have supposed Scriptural verses and visionary contents of prophecies.

    The other side of expectancy among many churches is that Russia will come down in a vain attempt to demolish Israel. Toss the coin, which will you have?

    All of this is a bleak but true picture, so what will each as an individual opine. What really matters is not opinions but individual performance.

  13. Eileen K. January 25, 2017 @ 5:25 pm

    @+BN

    I agree with you, Br. Nat. Donald J. Trump shouldn’t have added his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to his White House staff.

    I suspect it was Kushner who suggested moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem; that DJT didn’t come up with this action himself. Now, DJT is having reservations about moving the Embassy, after Muslim nations (and Palestinians) loudly protested.

    In his brief Inaugural speech, Trump reiterated his promises to bring jobs back, secure the southern border with Mexico, deport migrants and illegal aliens to their respective countries, reform the military and prepare it for the fight against Daesh, etc.

    Once in the White House, he signed Executive Orders negating those of Obama and one EO on building the wall on the southern border with Mexico.

    Jewish groups such as ADL are, of course, very upset about Trump’s promise to put America first, which reminds Jews of Charles Lindbergh’s speech against US involvement in WWII, along with the America First Party.

    The majority of US voters voted for Trump, because of the content of his speeches during the campaign.

    And, so far, he’s putting some of these promises into effect.

    He’s beholden only to the American people, not to Jewish and other special interest groups. He’s funded his own campaign and he’s no politician.

    I urge you, Brother, to give DJT time, as he’s only been in office five days. I agree that the US Embassy mustn’t be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, since E. Jerusalem’s Palestinian territory.

    I’m very happy that you’re still preaching the Gospels in cities around the country, and hope that the weather in DC will be cooperative when you arrive next month.

    I believe that you’ll receive a warmer reception from the White House this time around, now that Obama’s gone.

    Remember, Br. Nat, be careful and watch your health very closely. I admire you very much for your courage in preaching around the country, and strongly believe Jesus Christ is right alongside you, protecting you from harm.

    God bless you always,

    Eileen

    God bless you +BN, what a great Video.

    I love the title — Trump Takes A Dip in the Jewish Swamp

    That’s because for him, as Jewed up as he is already with life and high and mighty rolling in Jew York, it’s simply taking a swim in a great big, wonderful, the best, the biglyest and greatest swimming pool of all with all the rest of the gators. He’s just thrashing around fighting the other gators trying to establish that he is King Gator.

    Trump continues to fill out his White House administration with pro-Israel, Russia-hating hawkish Jewish and Gentile neocon Zionist Republicans.

    Nimrata “Nikki” Haley (née Randhawa; born January 20, 1972) who is a first generation Punjabi Indian American anti-Putin Israel-firster hawk has been confirmed by Senate Foreign Relations Panel as Trump’s Ambassador to the UN.

    Nikki Haley blasts UN on anti-Israel bias, funding during confirmation hearing
    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/18/nikki-haley-set-to-blast-u-n-for-israel-treatment-funding-during-confirmation-hearing.html

    She’s a Republican hawk with all of the establishment credentials and seals of approval, and is viewed by many as a rising Republican star with the potential to become president or vice president in the future.

    The Jew-owned, Jewed up Foreign Policy Mag glowingly wrote:

    Pesident Donald Trump has pledged a new era in U.S.-Russian relations. But his recently confirmed U.N. envoy, outgoing South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, is having none of it.

    In a Senate hearing and in written responses to questions from Foreign Relations Committee members, Haley has made it clear that Russia could never be a fully trusted friend of the United States as long as President Vladimir Putin remains in power.

    “The lesson to learn from the failed Russian ‘reset’ is that as long as Vladimir Putin is in charge, Russia will never be a credible partner for the United States,” Haley wrote.

    “I do not see, at present, the conditions that would allow the U.S. to forge a new relationship with Russia” at the U.N. Security Council.

    Far from pledging to rally forces with Russia in the war on terror, Haley vowed to use her U.N. megaphone to counter what she described as “Russia’s malign influence” in the elections of the United States and other Western powers.

    She said she would also rally support from “like-minded” allies to maintain pressure on Russia to reverse its grab for land in Ukraine and to halt its brutal repression of opposition groups in Syria.

    And so forth.

    FP Mag started out with the headline “Can Nikki Haley Change Trumps Mind About Russia and Putin?

    http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/01/25/can-nikki-haley-change-trumps-mind-about-russia-and-putin/

    Now for the Court Jew…Oops!

    Haaretz: Jared Kushner’s Name Removed From Website of Group Raising Money for Israeli Army

    Kushner was listed as a member of the national board of Friends of the IDF until Haaretz submitted questions on the matter.

    Since his appointment as senior White House adviser, Jared Kushner, the Jewish son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, appears to have severed his ties with an organization that raises money for the Israeli army.

    Kushner, who is expected to play a major role in drafting Middle East policy in the new administration, no longer has his name listed as a member of the national board of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, presumably because of potential conflicts of interest.

    FIDF is a New York-based non-profit that raises tens of millions of dollars a year to support a wide array of educational and social programs that benefit Israeli soldiers and their families.

    Kushner’s name appeared on the FIDF website as a member of the national board until just two days ago.

    A day after Haaretz submitted questions both to the organization and to a spokeswoman for the Kushner family about his continued involvement on the board, it was suddenly removed.

    As reported last month, FIDF is one of the pet causes of the Kushner family in Israel.

    According to its tax forms, the Charles and Seryl Kushner Family Foundation has donated more than $325,000 to FIDF over the years.

    Trump’s son-in-law was the only member of the family to sit on the organization’s national board, a position which according to FIDF’s financial statements, required five hours a week of volunteer work.

    Earlier this week, when asked whether Kushner would continue to sit on the FIDF board while serving in the U.S. administration as a senior adviser to the president, a spokesman for the organization said: “As a matter of policy, FIDF does not respond to requests for information about donors, including donors who are or were members of its board.”

    Risa Heller, a spokeswoman for the Kushner family, did not respond to a request for comment.

    Trump has suggested that his son-in-law would play a key role in trying to broker a peace deal between Israelis and Palestinians. “If he can’t do it, nobody can,” the president recently said.

    By continuing to serve on the board of an organization that raises money for the Israeli army, Kushner could have been seen to be compromising his neutrality in such a position.

    Trump himself reportedly made a big pledge to FIDF, which is known for its star-studded gala fundraising events, 10 years ago.

    According to The Jerusalem Post, he promised to donate $250,000 to the organization back then.

    A follow-up in The Washington Post revealed, however, that he never followed through and that another person, who was unnamed, fulfilled the pledge for him.

    The most famous of the totally bad ass Prophets of the Old Testament did as the Donald.

    Daniel voluntarily ventured into hostile territory, and not only laughed at hungry lions, but then became the King’s voice of reason, all the while knowing he was on a mission from God. If Trump had it easy, why the h$@k would the Lord Almighty be taking such an interest?

    The Creator of the Human Race imbued US all (even atheists) with Free Will, so getting directly involved is not a trivial matter.

    The entire purpose of real meditation is to shut yourself up enough in order to see these type of events as they really are, and a quiet and watchful mind can see that this US Presidential election was pure Magic.

    Donald Trump not only invigorates my faith in Life itself, but is going to give US all Biblical entertainment.

    Daniel was taken involuntarily as a royal hostage to Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian court in his childhood:

    Daniel 1

    1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.

    2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

    3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king’s seed, and of the princes;

    4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

    5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

    6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

    7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

    Daniel could very easily have joined a rebellion and slaughtered all those godless bastards, but the Creator of the Human race told this true Lion, to enter the den of vipers, and use the Powers bestowed upon thee to smite thy enemy.

    Daniel is my favorite prophet, and he most reminds me of Trump.

    Trump could easily have rode off into the billionaires sunset, but put his ass on the line for US.

    Whatever great prophet he should be compared to is irrelevant, Donald Trump is truly a great man, a son of God through and through. What is transpiring is Biblical and the ride will be intense.

    All Trump is there for is because certain segments of the country were getting very angry at the government. So what is the solution?

    Oh, build a wall, give them some jobs again to make them busy so they won’t care about all the rest of the looting. Trump is the same game, with a different face: it’s a different strategy by the deep state on the people.

    It’s really that simple yet too complex for many to understand. He was placed in there by the deep state on purpose. It will give Americans hope that he is for real when really he’s going to con them in the end. Don’t tell anyone I didn’t warn you.

    Half of all American foreign aid since WW2 has gone to support Israel, a jewish state, and Jews are per capita the richest people on earth.

    If Trump just took that money he could have his wall up in no time at no inconveinece to those Americans who have been milked for decades to support a terrorist state that attacks them whenever it pleases with no payback of any kind.

    You can build alot of Mexican wall for $16 Billion as Israel, the world’s foremost organized crime Headquarters (and welfare state) has proven building cement cages for Palestinians, that are already paid for by American tax payers.

    If cement walls are to be built it would be a good idea to funnel the $billions (by some estimates 35 to 100 $ Billion dollars) per year spent by Americans to prop up the Jewish welfare state and Keep the rightful landowners, the Palestinians in cement cages.

    SYRIA: “There are NO Moderates”, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard’s Report from Syria

    21st Century Wire says…

    Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has recently returned from an “under-wraps” fact finding mission to Syria where she met with Syrian people across a wide spectrum of Syrian society, including those recently liberated from Nusra Front-led terrorist occupation in East Aleppo.

    What she found, confirmed that the corporate media, NATO-aligned NGOs and the US interventionist coalition have been misrepresenting the facts on the ground in Syria for the last six years, funding terrorism and fanfaring an illegal regime-change programme.

    The globalists are not happy!

    Gabbard had already caused major shock-waves in Congress with her “Stop Arming Terrorists” bill that exposed Washington’s violation of anti terrorism laws by providing money, weapons and intelligence to terrorist organisations working on their behalf inside Syria to topple the Syrian government.

    This is the interview with Jake Tapper of CNN who starts the programme rolling with the familiar corporate media child exploitation tactics, introducing us to Bana Alabed, a child who has been co-opted into the war effort. Watch ~

    Tulsi Gabbard’s Report from Syria ~ The Syrian People Desperately Want Peace

    As much of Washington prepared for the inauguration of President Donald Trump, I spent last week on a fact-finding mission in Syria and Lebanon to see and hear directly from the Syrian people.

    Their lives have been consumed by a horrific war that has killed hundreds of thousands of Syrians and forced millions to flee their homeland in search of peace.

    It is clear now more than ever: this regime change war does not serve America’s interest, and it certainly isn’t in the interest of the Syrian people.

    I traveled throughout Damascus and Aleppo, listening to Syrians from different parts of the country. I met with displaced families from the eastern part of Aleppo, Raqqah, Zabadani, Latakia, and the outskirts of Damascus.

    I met Syrian opposition leaders who led protests in 2011, widows and children of men fighting for the government and widows of those fighting against the government.

    I met Lebanon’s newly-elected President Aoun and Prime Minister Hariri, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard, Syrian President Assad, Grand Mufti Hassoun, Archbishop Denys Antoine Chahda of Syrian Catholic Church of Aleppo, Muslim and Christian religious leaders, humanitarian workers, academics, college students, small business owners, and more.

    Their message to the American people was powerful and consistent: There is no difference between “moderate” rebels and al-Qaeda (al-Nusra) or ISIS — they are all the same.

    This is a war between terrorists under the command of groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda and the Syrian government. They cry out for the U.S. and other countries to stop supporting those who are destroying Syria and her people.

    I heard this message over and over again from those who have suffered and survived unspeakable horrors.

    They asked that I share their voice with the world; frustrated voices which have not been heard due to the false, one-sided biased reports pushing a narrative that supports this regime change war at the expense of Syrian lives.

    I heard testimony about how peaceful protests against the government that began in 2011 were quickly overtaken by Wahhabi jihadist groups like al-Qaeda (al-Nusra) who were funded and supported by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, the United States, and others.

    They exploited the peaceful protesters, occupied their communities, and killed and tortured Syrians who would not cooperate with them in their fight to overthrow the government.

    I met a Muslim girl from Zabadani who was kidnapped, beaten repeatedly, and raped in 2012, when she was just 14 years old, by “rebel groups” who were angry that her father, a sheep herder, would not give them his money.

    She watched in horror as masked men murdered her father in their living room, emptying their entire magazine of bullets into him.

    I met a boy who was kidnapped while walking down the street to buy bread for his family.

    He was tortured, waterboarded, electrocuted, placed on a cross and whipped, all because he refused to help the “rebels” — he told them he just wanted to go to school.

    This is how the “rebels” are treating the Syrian people who do not cooperate with them, or whose religion is not acceptable to them.

    Although opposed to the Assad government, the political opposition spoke strongly about their adamant rejection of the use of violence to bring about reforms.

    They argue that if the Wahhabi jihadists, fueled by foreign governments, are successful in overthrowing the Syrian state, it would destroy Syria and its long history of a secular, pluralist society where people of all religions have lived peacefully side by side.

    Although this political opposition continues to seek reforms, they are adamant that as long as foreign governments wage a proxy regime change war against Syria using jihadist terrorist groups, they will stand with the Syrian state as they work peacefully toward a stronger Syria for all Syrians.

    Originally, I had no intention of meeting with Assad, but when given the opportunity, I felt it was important to take it. I think we should be ready to meet with anyone if there’s a chance it can help bring about an end to this war, which is causing the Syrian people so much suffering.

    I return to Washington, DC with even greater resolve to end our illegal war to overthrow the Syrian government.

    From Iraq to Libya and now in Syria, the U.S. has waged wars of regime change, each resulting in unimaginable suffering, devastating loss of life, and the strengthening of groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS.

    I call upon Congress and the new Administration to answer the pleas of the Syrian people immediately and support the Stop Arming Terrorists Act.

    We must stop directly and indirectly supporting terrorists — directly by providing weapons, training and logistical support to rebel groups affiliated with al-Qaeda and ISIS; and indirectly through Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, and Turkey, who, in turn, support these terrorist groups.

    We must end our war to overthrow the Syrian government and focus our attention on defeating al-Qaeda and ISIS.

    The U.S. must stop supporting terrorists who are destroying Syria and her people. The U.S. and other countries fueling this war must stop immediately. We must allow the Syrian people to try to recover from this terrible war.

    Thank you,
    Tulsi

    ~~~*~~~
    Gabbard meeting with Assad draws disgust from fellow lawmakers
    Democrats and Republicans appear equally rattled at Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s decision to meet this month with Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.
    “There’s a pretty unanimous feeling of shock and disgust,” said a Democratic aide who works on national security issues. “Everybody I’ve talked to on both sides of the aisle, I think people are just stunned.”
    Republicans appeared more willing than Democrats to go on the record in ripping Gabbard (D-Hawaii), an Iraq War veteran and a prominent member of both the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs committees.
    “An elected official, a representative of the United States, went on a secret trip to meet with the brutal dictator who had murdered nearly half a million of his own people — it’s reprehensible and cannot be justified,” Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), another Iraq War veteran, said Thursday in an email. “The actions of Congresswoman Gabbard have put our nation’s reputation and foreign policy concerns at high risk and I couldn’t be more disgusted.”
    Our nation’s reputation is in the gutter and our belligerent, aggressive foreign policy “concerns” is morally outrageous. [And so is your Judaizing “faith-based” Christianity, your mutual admiration for Senator Lindsey, your affection for Netanyahu, and your worship of Israel and Zionist Nationalism, which really is America’s only foreign policy problem in the Middle East].
    Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, is also seething.
    “Assad has exterminated hundreds of thousands of Syrians,” a committee spokesman said Thursday. “This trip was not authorized by the committee, and it was just wrong.”
    Rep. Eliot Engel (N.Y.), the senior Democrat on the Foreign Affairs panel, offered a similar rebuke of Assad in a statement that did not explicitly criticize Gabbard or her decision to meet with Assad.
    “Mr. Engel’s position on Assad is well established: he’s a war criminal and a murderer, he has supported and benefitted from terrorism, he has close ties to Russia, and he cannot have a role in Syria’s future,” spokesman Tim Mulvey said in an email.
    Not everyone is blasting Gabbard, who backed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the Democratic presidential primary and harshly criticized former President Barack Obama’s policies on Syria.
    Rep. Brad Sherman (Calif.), the second-ranking Democrat on the Foreign Affairs panel, defended Gabbard’s trip, arguing that legislators have every right to examine the foreign policy they influence, even if it puts them face-to-face with loathsome people.
    “Congress has an equal role in the conduct of American foreign policy even if Congress doesn’t negotiate directly on behalf of the United States,” Sherman said.
    “Sometimes we have to hear from and meet with leaders that are detestable,” he added. “I have my disagreements with Tulsi on Syria policy, but knowing Tulsi, I am confident she comported herself admirably on this trip.”
    Gabbard said she had “no intention” of meeting with Assad as part of her clandestine trip to examine the state of Syria’s brutal civil war. But she grabbed the opportunity when it arose, she said, in an effort to expedite a peaceful resolution to the years-old conflict.
    “I think we should be ready to meet with anyone if there’s a chance it can help bring about an end to this war, which is causing the Syrian people so much suffering,” she said Wednesday in a statement.
    Gabbard gave no warning to congressional leaders that she was going — a stealth that’s clearly agitated her own leadership.
    “I have no knowledge of the trip,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told reporters curtly on Wednesday. “I don’t know any of the particulars of it. I don’t know the basis of the invitation, I don’t know the auspices under which she went.”
    But Gabbard’s office defended that decision Thursday, saying the trip was approved by the House Ethics Committee — “the only House rules requirement,” a spokeswoman said — and kept secret from the public “for obvious security reasons.”
    Gabbard returned from her trip — a seven-day venture to parts of Syria and Lebanon — bearing a stark, two-pronged warning to Congress and the White House.
    One: The U.S. intervention in Syria’s civil war is not helping “moderate” freedom fighters take on the Assad regime, but is actually propping up terrorists associated with al Qaeda and the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. And two: The U.S. should end its “regime change” war against Assad and focus its military might on al Qaeda and ISIS instead.
    “From Iraq to Libya and now in Syria, the U.S. has waged wars of regime change, each resulting in unimaginable suffering, devastating loss of life, and the strengthening of groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS,” she said in her statement.
    The argument, however, is ringing hollow with many on Capitol Hill.
    Critics say the thrust of her message — that those fighting Assad are all terrorists — sounds like it was pulled from a page of Assad’s own propaganda machine.
    “The talking points she’s using about how there is no moderate Syrian opposition, and that everyone the Assad regime has been carrying out this campaign of violence on, that they’re all terrorists, I mean, that sounds like something you hear on RT,” said the Democratic national security aide, referring to the state-funded Russian news organization.
    No one is questioning Gabbard’s patriotism, the aide emphasized, “but on this issue, she finds herself well out of the mainstream.” [She’s a rebel against group-think and double-speak!]
    Gabbard’s office responded by pointing to a past statement: “There is no actual debate about the fact that ISIS and al-Qaeda are the most powerful opposition groups,” she said in 2014.
    Gabbard’s decision to sit down with Assad has infuriated some human rights advocates.
    “No one is against a political solution,” Mouaz Moustafa, executive director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force, said Thursday by phone. “What the harm is in meeting with him is, it empowers him. This is a guy who believes that he can militarily win. He doesn’t believe in a political solution.”
    Moustafa, who said he’d previously accompanied Gabbard to the Turkey-Syria border, said her meeting was “beyond shameful.”
    “What she’s saying is, ‘This is a legitimate president, everyone he’s fighting is a terrorist, and we should empower him to continue to kill his own people,’” he charged.
    Joining Gabbard on the trip were her husband; several peace advocates; and former Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) and his wife. The trip, she said, was “led and sponsored” by a group called the Arab American Community Center for Economic and Social Services of Ohio (AACCESS).
    After several attempts, The Hill contacted AACCESS on Thursday. After learning the topic, the person answering the phone took a reporter’s name and number and abruptly hung up. The group did not call back.
    A Defense Department spokesman, Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, said Thursday that the Pentagon knew of the trip but had no hand in managing it.
    “We were aware as it was happening,” Davis said.
    “We refer you to her to find out about how she got there and who sponsored her visit,” he added, “but it was not us.”
    Mondoweiss (2013): Shady PR operatives, pro-Israel ties, anti-Castro money: Inside the Syrian opposition’s DC spin machine –
    During the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Syria on September 3, Secretary of State John Kerry and Senator John McCain both cited a Wall Street Journal editorial by Elizabeth O’Bagy to support their assessment of the Syrian rebels as predominately “moderate,” and potentially Western-friendly.
    “She works with the Institute of War,” Kerry said of O’Bagy. “She’s fluent in Arabic and spent an enormous amount of time studying the opposition and studying Syria. She just published this the other day. Very interesting [Wall Street Journal] article, which I commend to you.”
    Kerry added, “I just don’t agree that a majority are al-Qaida and the bad guys.”
    What Kerry and McCain neglected to mention was that O’Bagy had been recently hired as the political director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), a little known outfit that functions as a lobbying arm of the Syrian opposition in Washington.
    Until today, O’Bagy had failed to note her role as a paid Syrian opposition lobbyist in her Wall Street Journal byline and did not note the position in her official bio at the Institute for the Study of War.
    Only after a storm of criticism did the Wall Street Journal insert a note in O’Bagy’s recent op-ed disclosing her paid position at SETF. O’Bagy was also compelled to amend her bio with a lengthy clarification about her work at SETF.
    But her work at the Institute for the Study of War should have been enough to set off alarm bells.
    “Logrolling for war”
    The Institute for the Study of War’s (ISW) board of directors is led by William Kristol.
    Kimberly Kagan, the group’s president, was on General Stanley McChrystal’s strategic review team in 2009, advocating for a dramatic expansion of the US presence in Afghanistan.
    Her husband is Frederick Kagan, the AEI fellow who is the uncle of fellow neocon Robert Kagan.
    In its 2011 annual report [PDF], the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) detailed its close working relationship with Palantir Technologies, a private surveillance firm contracted by Bank of America in 2011 in an unsuccessful plot to dismantle Anonymous and sabotage Glenn Greenwald.
    The report listed New York Times reporter Michael Gordon as “ISW’s journalist in residence.” Back in January 2013, Gordon published an article pushing claims that Syrian army forces had used sarin gas, thus crossing Obama’s “red line” and triggering a US intervention.
    Noting that the State Department could not confirm the information in Gordon’s report, former Defense Intelligence Agency officer Pat Lang accused Gordon of “logrolling for war in Syria.”
    Despite his past affiliation with a think tank dedicated to pushing for US intervention in Syria, Gordon remains on the Times’ Syria beat.
    Rebel marketing
    When O’Bagy took to Twitter to boast about McCain’s “shout out” to her during the Senate hearing on Syria, the conservative writer Charles C. Johnson (who recently reported on O’Bagy’s lobbying) asked her if she was in fact employed by the Syrian Emergency Task Force.
    “Yes I do humanitarian aid work through the organization,” O’Bagy told Johnson. “Can’t go to Syria frequently and not help the people.”
    But O’Bagy’s work has less to do with tending to the needs of war-stricken refugees than it does with leveraging the media to agitate for US intervention.
    Indeed, she has been among the most prominent and widely cited commentators marketing the Syrian rebels as a bunch of America-friendly moderates.
    As she said during an August 26 appearance on Fox News, “What I’ve tried to show through this research and by traveling around with many of these rebel groups is that there are actually a majority of the opposition that would be aligned with U.S. interests.”
    Last summer, I encountered an exceptionally talkative young Syrian man at a tweet-up of Middle East-oriented activists in Washington DC’s Woodley Park area.
    Having learned that I was a journalist, he struck up a conversation, telling me eagerly about his work on behalf of the Syrian opposition through something called the Syrian Emergency Task Force.
    About thirty seconds into our chat, I could tell that the young man was not the most sophisticated operator. “We’re really trying to get in with the Jews,” he told me. “We feel like the Americans really listens to them the most, so we’re working with them all we can.”
    “We prefer to be referred to as the yahood,“ I responded in a deadpan tone, prompting nervous laughter from a few friends who were listening in on the conversation.
    Unfazed by the sarcastic aside, the activist told me about meetings at WINEP and entreaties to AIPAC.
    He mentioned Radwan Ziadeh, director of the Syrian Center for Political & Strategic Studies, as a key emissary between SETF and pro-Israel lobbyists.
    Ziadeh appeared at the American Jewish Committee’s 2011 Global Forum to make the case for Western intervention in Syria.
    Ziadeh was among the self-proclaimed “foreign policy experts” who signed an August 27 open letter to Obama calling for military intervention in Syria.
    Other “experts” lending their names to the letter included Karl Rove, Elliot Abrams [Neocon Jew now being considered by Trump for No 2 at State Department], Governor Tim Pawlenty, and veteran anti-abortion activist Gary Bauer.
    As our conversation continued, the Syrian activist revealed to me a recent training session SETF had arranged between Syrian opposition figures and Cuban exiles in Coral Gables, Florida.
    Florida’s Republican Gov. Rick Scott attended the seminar, he said with pride, greeting a who’s who of hardline anti-Castro activists who had spent decades pushing for the overthrow of Cuba’s socialist regime.
    When I returned home, I searched for details of the meeting and discovered a single press release posted on the anti-Castro web portal Directorio. I could find no coverage of the seminar in any US media.
    According to the press release, participants in the seminar pledged “To coordinate all of our political, diplomatic, logistic and humanitarian efforts in pursuit of the liberation of Cuba and Syria; hence constituting a United Front for Freedom and Democracy; Therefore, the Cuban Resistance and the Syrian Revolution jointly declare: The people want the overthrow of the dictatorial regimes of Assad and Castro.”
    On its website, SETF cites as one of its landmark achievements securing $1 million in humanitarian aid “from the Cuban-American community.”
    WINEP ties, pressing for regime change
    At the helm of the SETF, which is registered as a 501 c-4 lobbying organization, is a previously unknown activist named Mouaz Moustafa.
    Back in May, Moustafa arranged a meeting between John McCain and a group of Free Syrian Army fighters.
    The photo-op quickly transformed into a public relations disaster when Lebanon’s The Daily Star reported that one of the man posing with McCain had kidnapped 11 Shiite pilgrims a year before.
    Since emerging as SETF’s Executive Director, Moustafa has forged close ties with WINEP, the neocon-oriented think tank founded as an ancillary of AIPAC.
    Formerly listed as a WINEP “expert” – his page on the think tank’s site has disappeared – Moustafa spoke at WINEP’s Soref Symposium this year.
    By Moustafa’s side at the conference was Louay Sakka, the founder of the Syrian Support Group, the only organization licensed by the US government to send financial and supposedly non-lethal support to the Free Syrian Army.
    In soliciting donations, the group notes, “We leave it up to the people on the ground to judge how financial assistance can best put to use.”
    With Congress set to vote on a resolution authorizing the US to strike Syria, SETF has issued an action alert on its website urging supporters to light up congressional phone lines urging “yes” votes.
    In a call with the White House, SETF urged much broader action in Syria than the “limited strikes” Obama has asked Congress to authorize. The group is dedicated to regime change, and is pressing for any and all military measures to accomplish the mission — even, apparently, boots on the ground.
  48. Who is "the Anti-Christ?" January 27, 2017 @ 10:05 pm
    The Bible defines anti-christs as those who deny Jesus, won’t acknowledge Jesus, claim that Jesus was phony.
    1 John 2:22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the Antichrist, denying the Father and the Son.
    1 John 4:3 if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist.
    2 John 1:7 I say this because many deceivers have gone out into the world. They deny that Jesus Christ came in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an Antichrist.
    1st and 2nd John are the only books in the Bible which have the word Antichrist.
    There is only one group of people which the scripture above fits, the Jews of Zionism/Judaism who are obsessed with destroying Christianity.
    The leading Jews of Judaism – the high priest and Sanhedrin – murdered Jesus, Stephen, had Peter and John lashed with whips, and tried to destroy Christianity. Some of them tried to kill the apostle Paul. Other like minded Jews stoned Paul and left him for dead.
    Their progeny, the descendants of these Jews are still trying to destroy Christianity now.
    The Zionist Jews are anti-Jesus and anti-Christian. They are the only people in the world who hate Christ and His followers. The Zionist Jews are opposed to Jesus with a devilish obsession.
    These are the Anti-christs who St John warned about. The Jews of Zionism and Judaism are the Antichrists. These are the only people obsessed with denying Jesus and destroying Christianity.
    The Antichrists are the Zionist Jews. The Zionist Jew is the Antichrist.
    There is a very good YouTube video about the take over of Las Vegas by Jewish organized crime.
    Its called “Mob on the Run – The 1987 Documentary.
    Interesting to hear about the involvement of the ADL and Bnai Brith, and the Central States Pension Fund. Tells alot about Moe Dalitz, Frank Rosenthal, Myer Lansky (founded Murder Incorporated), a crooked Chicago union and how its money was used.
    It does not focus on Jews, but as the names are named it becomes clear the video is about Jewish organized crime.
    Its long and detailed and I only watched 2/3rds of it. It seemed to be leading in a direction implying the Problem had been solved, but with People like Trump’s friends Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynne in charge in Las Vegas today, I doubt it.
    South Front: Rebel Civil War Blazing in Syria’s Idlib
    The so-called “rebel civil war” is blazing in the Syrian province of Idlib where Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, a branch of al-Qaeda) backed up by Jund al-Aqsa and Nour al-Din al-Zenki continues attacks against Ahrar al-Sham and its allied militant groups.
    The main reason for the local civil war is competition for power in the province and control over flows of military and humanitarian supplies.
    Jabhat Fatah al-Sham fighters, supported by tanks and artillery, seized Jaish al-Mujahideen’s local HQ in Sarmada. Clashes were also reported in Kafranabl, Marat al-Numan, Marshurin, Hurbnish, Al-Dana, Ehsem, Hreitan, Al-Halzoum, Batabo, Saraqeb, Ariha, and Deir Sunbul.
    Reports say that up to 100 militants from both sides have been killed in the fighting so far.
    A number of groups, for example Liwa al-Haqq, refused to help Ahrar al-Sham and its allies in the battle against Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, claiming that they remain neutral.
    Both sides of the rebel civil war push a hardcore Islamist agenda far away from any kind of democracy.
    So, in general, the only difference between them is that Jabhat Fatah al-Sham is described as a terrorist group on the international level for its links with al-Qaeda.
    The Anti Christ
    1) will be a Jew.
    2) will come to the Jews.
    3) will be accepted by the Jews.
    One of Antichrist’s first objectives will be to attain popularity among the Jews: “He will succeed in completing the organization of the Jewish government and will set about realizing the age-old dream of the Jews–the restoration of the temple of Solomon.”
    With the help of mass media and advanced communication technology, Antichrist will rapidly achieve world-wide renown, and his appeal will be irresistible: “When the many classes and the people see such virtues and power, suddenly all will conceive the same thought, and with great joy will proclaim him king, saying among themselves: ‘Can another man so good and righteous be found?'”
    During this second period when Antichrist will work to consolidate his popularity, God will send two prophets to warn people against the deception encompassing them.
    This confirms the Saviour’ s unspeakable love for man, for even at this darkest hour, “He will not leave the human race without His preaching, in order that all will be without answer at the Judgment” (St. Ephraim).
    The two prophets understood to be Elias and Enoch who did not taste of death but were received up into heaven. And these prophets “shall turn again the heart of the father to the son, and the heart of a man to his neighbor” (Mat. g:5).
    Blessed Theophilact interprets this to mean that they “shall return to faith in Christ all the Jews who are found to be obedient, remaining faithful, as it were, to the paternal heritage of those who had fallen away there from.”
    For three and a half years (Rev. 11:3) these two prophets shall work to fulfill their mission without the interference of Antichrist. His power, however, will already be such that many of the Jews will disregard the prophets’ warning and will be first to proclaim Antichrist as their ruler, the true Messiah.
    In imitation of the Lord’ s entry into Jerusalem, Antichrist will reveal himself as the (false) Messiah in his own triumphant entry into Jerusalem where he will take up his seat in the temple.
    This will herald the third and final period of his life when he will attain the fulfillment of his three-fold ministry — as Prophet, King, and High Priest.
    http://www.roca.org/OA/51/51g.htm
    After that period he will proclaim himself God almighty.
    Death of the Syrian ‘Moderate’ Fantasy
    Exclusive: Neocons and liberal hawks sold the fantasy that Syrian “moderate” rebels were a viable option when all they did was help arm Al Qaeda jihadists and worsen the bloodshed, as Jonathan Marshall explains.
    By Jonathan Marshall
    The neoconservative and liberal interventionist case for arming Syria’s rebels lost its last vestige of credibility this week with the routing of Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces by Al-Qaeda-linked Islamists in northwestern Syria.
    U.S.-backed Syrian “moderate” rebels smile as they prepare to behead a 12-year-old boy (left), whose severed head is held aloft triumphantly in a later part of the video. [Screenshot from the YouTube video]
    Washington think-tank warriors and editorial writers have long looked to the FSA as America’s natural allies in the Syrian conflict — so-called “moderates” unblemished by the Assad regime’s cruel record of repression, or the Islamists’ preference for cutting the throats of apostates.
    In her memoir Hard Choices, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recounted her hope that “if the United States could train and equip a reliable and effective moderate rebel force, it could help hold the country together during a transition . . . and prevent ethnic cleansing and score settling.”
    In much the same way, the Reagan administration hoped — and failed — to cultivate “moderate elements” in Iran’s army through its covert arms deals with Tehran in the mid-1980s.
    The truth of the matter — exposed again this week — is that the FSA and other “moderates” never had the popular support or the grit to take on more fanatical warriors in Syria.
    On Tuesday, the Nusra Front, an Al Qaeda affiliate that rebranded itself last year as Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (JFS), attacked the FSA in Idlib and Aleppo provinces with heavy artillery, suicide bombs, and even cyber attacks. Within a day, they largely succeeded in wiping out local FSA forces.
    JFS explained that it was punishing the FSA for “trying to divert the course of the revolution towards reconciliation with the criminal regime” of President Bashar al-Assad. The FSA recently joined other non-extremist rebel groups in Kazakhstan for inconclusive talks with the Syrian government.
    If Washington had provided the FSA with portable anti-aircraft missiles, as advocated by influential interventionists like Charles Lister of the Middle East Institute, those dangerous weapons would now be in the hands of one of the most extreme and lethal factions fighting in Syria with the possibility that they could be used for terrorist purposes such as shooting down civilian airliners.
    Similar debacles, complete with weapons transfers to extremists, have taken place many times over the past few years.
    In September 2013, FSA forces in the northern city of Raqqa surrendered abjectly to Islamists, despite outnumbering them. One top rebel commander said, “There is no such thing as the FSA [here]. We are all Al Qaeda now. Half of the FSA has been devoured by ISIS, and the other half joined Jabhat al-Nusra.”
    Collaborating with Al Qaeda
    Many FSA commanders learned their lesson and began to collaborate with Nusra Front, essentially fighting under Al Qaeda’s command. Those that steadfastly remained “moderate” paid a heavy price.
    In September 2014, the Washington Post’s national security columnist David Ignatius described visiting the commander of Harakat al-Hazm, the largest CIA-vetted (i.e., “moderate”) rebel group in Syria. They had just been “chased from their headquarters” by Nusra Front, and forced to abandon their U.S.-provided anti-tank missiles and other lethal equipment.
    “At some point, the Syrian street lost trust in the Free Syrian Army,” the despondent commander told Ignatius.
    He explained, as Ignatius put it, that “many rebel commanders aren’t disciplined, their fighters aren’t well-trained and the loose umbrella organization of the FSA lacks command and control. The extremists of the Islamic State and Jabhat al-Nusra have filled the vacuum.”
    An Arab intelligence source confirmed to Ignatius, “the FSA is a kind of mafia. Everyone wants to be head. People inside Syria are tired of this mafia. There is no structure. It’s nothing.” Based on this experience, Ignatius declared flatly, “The problem is that the ‘moderate opposition’ that the United States is backing is still largely a fantasy.”
    His conclusion was borne out a month later when Nusra Front vanquished the Western-backed Syrian Revolutionaries’ Front in Idlib province. Worse yet, the following summer, the Pentagon graduated 60 rebels, hand-picked and trained at a cost of half a billion dollars, only to have them fall apart and flee when attacked by Nusra Front.
    One month after that debacle, another group of rebels handed over their U.S.-supplied trucks and ammunition to Nusra Front in exchange for safe passage — repeating the process of U.S. taxpayers arming Al Qaeda in the name of promoting “moderates.”
    That pattern continues. Citing FSA officers, the ardent think-tank interventionist Thanassis Cambanis admits that “Nusra routinely harvests up to half the weapons supplied by the Friends of Syria, a collection of countries opposed to Assad, and has regularly smashed FSA factions that . . . Nusra thought were getting too strong or too popular.”
    A Strategy That Backfired
    In 2015, former Ambassador to Syria Robert Ford, who has long advocated a more muscular policy of arming moderate rebels against the Assad regime, confessed that the strategy had backfired.
    “For a long time,” Ford said, “we have looked the other way while the Nusra Front and armed groups on the ground, some of whom are getting help from us, have coordinated in military operations against the regime. I think the days of us looking the other way are finished.”
    Joshua Landis, the respected Syria expert and head of the Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Oklahoma, goes further and argues that trying to buy moderate allies with money and arms was doomed from the start.
    As Landis told an interviewer recently, “Many activists and Washington think tankers argue that the reason the radicals won in Syria is because they were better funded than moderate militia . . . No evidence supports this.
    “Radicals . . . fought better, had better strategic vision and were more popular. The notion that had Washington pumped billions of dollars to selected moderate militias, they would’ve killed the extremists and destroyed Assad’s regime, is bunkum.”
    Bunkum it may be, but mainstream pundits continue to demand that Washington support anti-Assad forces in Syria — whether in the name of saving lives, fighting tyranny, or making life uncomfortable for the Russians. We can only hope that President Trump ignores them and confines his wars to Twitter.
    Jonathan Marshall is author of many recent articles on arms issues, including “How World War III Could Start,” “NATO’s Provocative Anti-Russian Moves,” “Escalations in a New Cold War,” “Ticking Closer to Midnight,” and “Turkey’s Nukes: A Sum of All Fears.”
    Netanyahu Supports Trump’s Border Wall: ‘Trump Is Right. I Built a Wall. Great Success.’
    Trump recently invoked Israel to justify proposed border wall: ‘The wall is necessary… a wall protects. All you have to do is ask Israel.’
    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voiced support Saturday for U.S. President Donald Trump plan to build a border wall along America’s border with Mexico and praised Trump for referencing Israel in defending his wall.
    “President Trump is right. I built a wall along Israel’s southern border. It stopped all illegal immigration. Great success. Great idea,” Netanyahu tweeted.
    With the statement, Netanyahu thrust himself into the political debate currently raging in the U.S. over Trump’s immigration policies, and to a greater extent also into the severe diplomatic crisis between Mexico and the U.S. which saw the Mexican president cancel a scheduled meeting with Trump.
    In an interview with Fox News on Thursday, Trump invoked Israel to justify his proposed plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border. “The wall is necessary,” the president explained, “because people want protection and a wall protects. All you have to do is ask Israel.”
    Trump explained that Israel suffered from a “disaster” of illegal immigration, but once it built a wall, “it stopped 99.9%.”
    The president was probably referring to Israel’s border fence with Egypt, which was set up in 2013 and has drastically decreased the number of immigrants and refugees from Africa who cross into Israel from the Sinai Peninsula.
    ‘Trump is squeezing Netanyahu hard’
    The former U.S. ambassador to the Israel, Dan Shapiro, who left the position 10 days ago, said in a series of tweets on Saturday that Netanyahu’s remarks undermine the American bipartisan support for Israel.
    “PM @netanyahu’s top aide’s told me a key goal in Trump’s era was keeping bipartisan support for Israel. Now this?” Shapiro tweeted, referring to the prime minister’s statement.
    “Israel’s challenges with Sinai border not similar to US border,” Shapiro said. “Their solution (a fence, not a wall) works for them, would not for us.
    “Hard to explain this intervention on a hotly debated issue in domestic US politics. Unless this endorsement is Trump’s demand of Netanyahu for something Netanyahu wants, the quid pro quo. But for what?” he continued.
    “Canceling the Iran deal? Moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem? Supporting building in settlement blocs? To me, it looks like Trump is already squeezing Netanyahu hard. ‘The Art of the Deal,'” he tweeted.
    http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1.768009
    Trump’s squeezing Bibsy hard? Nope, Bibsy’s playing him.
    And Trump doesn’t want a fence, such as is between the Egyptian-Palestinian border, he wants the Great Bigly Yuuuge Wall of Judeo-Trumpia.
    You know, something you can see from space.
    Regarding your planned trip to NYC around Feb. 16, 2017.
    Is that still a go? If so, bring along many pairs of long underwear and other arctic gear.
    According to the Farmers Almanac, the weather will be turning cold around the first of Feb., with “bitter cold and blustery winds”. From the 8th to the 11th it says “Near Record Cold Temperatures”.
    Now, all this is just leading up to the 16th to the 19th where it says “near record cold envelopes the entire region” and “a small intense storm developed, delivers a heavy snowstorm with strong winds…”, “one to two feet possible accumulation”.
    I do believe it was in the 1800’s sometime when they had record cold, and the Hudson River froze over. Just thought you might like to know so you can prepare or maybe go to a warmer state instead.
    Reuters: Keystone XL pipeline: A ‘Canada First’ energy plan?
    U.S. President Donald Trump’s move this week to revive the Keystone XL oil pipeline marked a major step under his “America First” energy plan to boost U.S. drillers and create new U.S. jobs. But the project’s biggest winners may be Canadian.
    If built, TransCanada’s Keystone XL from Alberta to Nebraska would yield about $2.4 billion (C$3.2 billion) a year for Canada, split between government revenues, shareholder profits and re-investment into the still-recovering Canadian oil patch, according to a Conference Board of Canada research note prepared for Reuters on Thursday.
    That’s because the 800,000 barrels-per-day (bdp) line would provide cheaper shipping and a new outlet for the country’s vast but landlocked oil sands reserves, giving them increased access to the stronger U.S. market.
    Canadian producers could likely command around $2 more per barrel, analysts and investors said.
    For the United States, where environmental opposition to the pipeline had led to its temporary demise under former President Barack Obama, there are also economic advantages. But it is unclear how they compare to Canada’s.
    Trump has said the project would create 28,000 jobs in the United States and pledged to use American steel for the pipe.
    But a 2014 State Department study predicted just 3,900 construction jobs and 35 permanent jobs.
    And steelmakers and analysts say TransCanada’s stringent raw materials requirements may disqualify most U.S.-based manufacturers.
    ~~~*~~~

    American steel unlikely to get Keystone boost despite Trump order (skeptical local workers say “Nice gesture”)

    When U.S. President Donald Trump signed orders to revive two controversial energy pipeline projects this week, he pledged to require new pipelines to use American-made steel, a gesture to workers in the hard-hit industry who helped propel him to power.

    But U.S. steelmakers will receive negligible benefit from the multi-billion dollar Keystone XL project, one of the two projects Trump ordered to proceed, because they have limited ability to meet the stringent materials requirements for the TransCanada line.

    Economists said Trump’s order has many loopholes to enforcement and could violate international trade law.

    Meanwhile, in the quiet prairie town of Gascoyne, North Dakota, deer wander among gleaming stacks of steel tubing intended for the Keystone pipeline. The company bought the material years ago when the U.S. debate was raging over whether the project should go ahead.

    TransCanada tried for more than five years to build the 1,179-mile (1,897 km) pipeline, until then-President Barack Obama rejected it in 2015.

    Since the materials were already purchased for Keystone, Trump’s move to revive the project should not result in new large steel orders.

    The profits for manufacturing that steel were booked by companies with corporate headquarters in Russia, India and Italy.

    Those companies own the steel mills in the United States that made about half of the pipeline for the $8 billion project.

    Much of that steel has sat exposed to the elements in several giant stockyards along the pipeline’s route for more than two years. Analysts said some of it will need to be replaced.

    But that is unlikely to come from U.S. producers, such as U.S. Steel, AK Steel or Steel Dynamics, analysts and traders said, because of the specialized steel required for the big-ticket project.

    Trump’s directive on using U.S.-made steel is likely also inconsistent with long-standing World Trade Organization rules that require imported products to be given the same treatment as domestically produced goods.

    The directive could well become the target of a challenge under WTO rules.

    Trump’s order also runs counter to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), a pact that he said he wants to renegotiate but one that nevertheless remains in effect.

    ‘NICE GESTURE’

    TransCanada resubmitted its application Keystone project on Thursday, two days after Trump signed the orders.

    The line is designed to link existing pipeline networks in Canada and the United States to bring crude from Alberta and North Dakota to refineries in Illinois en route to the Gulf of Mexico.

    Around Gascoyne where the tubing has sat idle in a TransCanada yard, there is little sign among residents of the fierce opposition that stopped Keystone and led to the delay of the other controversial pipeline that Trump pushed forward on Tuesday – the Dakota Access Pipeline.

    But townspeople were skeptical of Trump’s made-in-America order.

    “It’s a nice gesture, but you can’t renegotiate when the pipe’s been bought already,” said Dan Peterson, 47, a contractor from nearby Bowman, North Dakota, who supports the project.

    About half of the pipe was forged in Arkansas, at a plant owned by India’s Welspun.

    [Is India in the ‘America First’ Belt, Trump?

    Indian-owned, American-made, got it.

    But, while you obsess over relatively few refugees specifically from the seven Middle East countries that the US has destroyed or planned to following the Project for the New Jewmerican Century (PNAC), you’ve said nothing about the millions of legal immigrants on work visas, a different immigration legal category and process than those on refugee status, who will continue to come to America for work.

    How many foreigners work at Indian-owned Welspun in Arkansas, for example?

    Besides refugees attempting to immigrate, generally, non-citizens, including green card holders (lawful permanent residents), from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen will be restricted from entering the U.S. for at least 90 days.

    Rather an astonishing coincidence that these are the very same countries that Israel and the Neocons wanted destroyed to make the Middle East safe for Israel. Kj]

    About a quarter [of the tubing] came from a Russian-owned plant in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, and the rest came from Italy and India. [Russian-, Italian- and Indian-owned, Canadian-made, but Canada is in North America, right Trump? North America First

    Alberta-based TransCanada expects to use roughly 821,000 tons of pipe in Canada and 660,000 tons in the United States for the project. TransCanada representatives did not return a request for comment.

    Trump’s order pertains only to sections of pipelines built in the United States, and it said the directive should be followed to the “maximum extent” possible, which gives the administration wiggle room. [Yuuuuge wiggle room, enough to drive a navy fleet through].

    Steel manufacturers and analysts said that TransCanada’s stringent requirements for the pipeline, including thickness and pressure requirements, already keeps most U.S.-based steelmakers out, given current forging and manufacturing processes.

    That includes Nucor and Steel Dynamics, which can make pipeline that is thick enough but may not meet all the pressure parameters. For the main trunk line, experts say that Keystone requires welded line pipe between 36 inches to 42 inches (91 to 107 cm) in diameter.

    Foreign-owned steelmakers with U.S. operations, such as India’s Welspun and JSW as well as Russia’s Evraz, are best able to produce the pipe.

    To be sure, U.S. steelmakers have a large part of their business in producing pipe and tube for the oil and gas industry.

    But, analysts said that to meet Keystone’s requirements, they will need to reinvest and retrofit their plants to reorient production. It’s not clear if other pipeline projects would have the same standards as Keystone.

    “There are people who make (this type of) steel pipe in the U.S., but they’re mostly Indian and Russian” companies, said Charles Bradford, an analyst at New York-based Bradford Research.

    Antimedia:

    President Donald Trump’s decision to move forward with the Keystone XL pipeline may ultimately backfire, as the State Department has estimated the pipeline will only create 35 permanent jobs after the one or two years’ worth of construction work has been completed.

    According to Census.gov, the current population of the United States is over 316 million. Congratulations – Donald Trump has successfully created jobs for 0.000011 percent of the American population.

    Republican supporters have long argued that the pipeline project will be a tremendous job creator.

    In 2012, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce took out a full-page ad in the New York Times warning Barack Obama not to say no to 20,000 jobs (the pipeline company’s estimate.)

    The State Department’s recent estimate means the pipeline could bring in 42,100 jobs in total, but they would all be one-year only contracts.

    What happens to the 42,000 workers after that one year of construction? Do they build a new pipeline? This does not sound sustainable.

    As noted by the Guardian, the proposed Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines will also create an enormity of blowback in other ways:

    “Beyond risking our energy economy on what we now call ‘alternative facts,’ these pipelines pose specific risks to Indian Country – and President Trump ignores those risks at his own political peril.

    Keystone XL would run on top of the Ogallala Aquifer, a vast multi-state underground reservoir that provides water to millions of Americans, including many Native American tribes, across the Midwest.

    Part of the Dakota Access pipeline would run under Lake Oahe, a major water source for the Standing Rock Sioux tribe in North Dakota. Consultation with Native American tribes in the construction of both pipelines has been feeble.”

    This is quite humorous given that publications such as the Guardian and other corporate media outlets refused to report on the protests happening at Standing Rock in its early stages.

    It wasn’t until many alternative media organizations began to break the story, forcing the issue on social media, that these news outlets were willing to take notice of the situation.

    Now that it is Trump ramping up these proposals, however, the media is suddenly on the side of the people again.
    http://theantimedia.org/keystone-xl-pipeline-35-permanent-jobs/

    Newsweek Business:

    STATE DEPARTMENT: KEYSTONE XL PIPELINE WOULD ONLY CREATE 35 PERMANENT JOBS

    When the State Department released their report on the Keystone XL pipeline last month, news media focused on the report’s conclusion that the pipeline would not significantly worsen carbon pollution.

    The finding was broadly declared a win for advocates of the project, who are now imploring the White House to approve it.

    But buried in the 11-chapter report was a less sunny detail: the Keystone XL would create only 35 permanent jobs after the one or two years of construction jobs dry up.

    “Once the proposed Project enters service, operations would require an estimated 50 total employees: 35 permanent employees and 15 temporary contractors,” the State Department wrote.

    The latest State Department report, which also defines a “job” as a position filled for one year, estimates that the project would create 16,100 jobs directly related to Keystone XL. Another approximately 26,000 year-long jobs would created indirectly (restaurant and store workers, for example, needed to accommodate the temporarily increased population along the pipeline).

    That brings the State Department’s total to 42,100 year-long jobs.

    Included in that number, the report estimates that about 10,400 seasonal workers would be recruited for construction of the pipeline for jobs lasting four to eight months. If those short stints are calculated into an average annual jobs, that works out to 3,900 jobs over one year of construction, or 1,950 jobs each year for two years, the State Department wrote.

    After one to two years, the vast majority would leave, and 35 people would be permanently employed, according to the report.

    Now there are the journalists telling surely fake stories of their families’ loses and a supposed Holocaust. Most would believe them just as millions believe the fake story of Anna Frank. Her uncle makes a fortune it is claimed as he is really the author.

    It all matches the fabrication by Ellie Wiesel, the named ‘High Priest’ of the Holocaust that really disappeared into nothingness.

    The victimization of Germany into a state of belief in the lies about Hitler and their national guilt, many having been told stories that were false, by departed relatives in their ignorance.

    One has met such people in different parts of the world. Some realized their feelings of guilt were a blight on the nation.

    The raping of its finances still continues. Trump is furthering this in a country to which he has vowed to do good.

    It would appear we are all marionettes dancing to their tune of enslavement. Yes, it is partially true but the outcome is set to be glorious for those who know and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, who are slaves or servants of Him, as was the Apostle Paul.

    Some day the evil knees will bow to Him and their tongues will confess albeit in the after life destiny being hell, that Jesus Christ is Lord.

    Telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump

    Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.

    January 28, 2017 22:55

    Vladimir Putin congratulated Donald Trump on taking office and wished him every success in his work.

    During the conversation, both sides expressed their readiness to make active joint efforts to stabilise and develop Russia-US cooperation on a constructive, equitable and mutually beneficial basis.

    Mr Putin and Mr Trump had a detailed discussion of pressing international issues, including the fight against terrorism, the situation in the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli conflict, strategic stability and non-proliferation, the situation with Iran’s nuclear programme, and the Korean Peninsula issue.

    The discussion also touched upon the main aspects of the Ukrainian crisis. The sides agreed to build up partner cooperation in these and other areas.

    The two leaders emphasised that joining efforts in fighting the main threat – international terrorism – is a top priority. The presidents spoke out for establishing real coordination of actions between Russia and the USA aimed at defeating ISIS and other terrorists groups in Syria.

    The sides stressed the importance of rebuilding mutually beneficial trade and economic ties between the two counties’ business communities, which could give an additional impetus to progressive and sustainable development of bilateral relations.

    Mr Putin and Mr Trump agreed to issue instructions to work out the possible date and venue for their meeting.

    Donald Trump asked to convey his wishes of happiness and prosperity to the Russian people, saying that the American people have warm feelings towards Russia and its citizens.

    Vladimir Putin, in turn, emphasised that the feeling is mutual, adding that for over two centuries Russia has supported the United States, was its ally during the two world wars, and now sees the United States as a major partner in fighting international terrorism.

    The two leaders agreed to maintain regular personal contacts.

    The conversation took place in a positive and constructive atmosphere.

    Dear Brother and friends:

    Great article, yeah what I’ve noticed is that Donald Trump sold himself as a sort of anti-war progressive populist of the economically oppressed classes, he said that 9-11 was an inside job, and that USA doesn’t need any more wars and doesn’t need to be a puppet of Israel in the pre-elections campaigns.

    He said that he wasn’t going to touch the social programs that keep poor people alive, medicare, medicaid and food-stamps. But after a couple of days in power, he already is showing his true colors. He will be like George W. Bush and Obama (but on steroids).

    Here is a couple of parts of an article about how Donald Trump is preparing the military for more imperialist Zionist wars on behalf of Israel, the upper classes that benefit from wars, and big corporations:

    Trump orders military to prepare for world war

    Full article: http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2017/01/28/pent-j28.html

    By Tom Eley
    28 January 2017

    During a visit to the Pentagon on Friday, President Donald Trump issued an executive action calling for stepped up violence in Syria and a vast expansion of the US military, including its nuclear arsenal, to prepare for war with “near-peer competitors”—a reference to nuclear-armed China and Russia—and “regional challengers,” such as Iran.

    “I’m signing an executive action to begin a great rebuilding of the armed services of the United States,” Trump said during the signing of the document, entitled “Rebuilding the US Armed Forces.”

    During the visit, his first to the Pentagon, Trump signed a second order, “Protecting the US from Terrorist Attacks by Foreign Nationals,” that freezes visa and immigration applications from predominantly Muslim countries.

    The order threatens to block refugees from finding sanctuary, workers from taking jobs, students from attending school, and the unification of families (See, “White House to issue executive order on ‘safe zones’ in Syria, ban on Muslim immigrants and refugees”)

    The military order directs Defense Secretary James Mattis, who was sworn in at the ceremony, to complete a 30-day “readiness review” designed to prepare for the destruction of ISIS in Syria and Iraq, along with “other forms of Islamic terror.” Last week, Mattis was confirmed by the Senate in a 98-1 vote.

    The order further instructs Mattis, in the words of the Washington Post, which obtained a copy of the order prior to its formal release, “to examine how to carry out operations against unnamed ‘near-peer’ competitors, a group which US officials typically identify as China and Russia.”

    And it commands the Pentagon and the Office of Management and Budget to develop a “military readiness emergency budget amendment” that would increase military spending in the current year and increase the budget for 2018 and thereafter—increases to be offset by cuts to social spending.

  68. Michael Jenkins January 29, 2017 @ 4:01 pm

    Another thing that I was thinking about, is how Donald Trump is betraying his friend Vladimir Putin, Bashar Al Assad and the other leaders who thought that Donald Trump was going to be an anti-war president.

    What a crook, what a liar, Donald Trump.

    Well maybe he needed to be a liar, because that’s the only that casino owners can get rich quickly, by fixing the casinos so that players that gamble in his casino never win a dollar

  69. Michael Jenkins January 29, 2017 @ 4:08 pm

    Another thing that we have to point out is that the real problem is not Donald Trump, Obama, Bush, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton.

    They are just workers and representatives of the class that they work for (The imperialist Zionist oligarchic class).

    What we have to do to save USA is overthrow the whole ruling oligarchic imperialist Zionist plutocratic class and replace with a brand new ruling class, a class representing the 315 million US citizens of the country.

    But for that the oppressed, the great majority of Americans average low-income people have to be united. And the US society has been divided for a long time.

    We have to destroy the whole US government, the US Constitution, all the laws of USA, and create a brand new anti-war government, a new Constitution for poor Americans, and new laws for poor people (without special treatments for celebrities, baseball players, and special treatment for evil corrupt military people and zero lobbying firms).

    But like I said for that we need a positive united population, and you know how divided and sectarian the whole society of USA is.

    Maybe praying to God for a unity among poor Americans can lead to a positive change.

    I suspect Trump made a deal with the Federal Reserve the night of the election as stock futures were down nicely more than 4%.

    A miraculous manipulation occurred before regular trading hours the next day and then up another 15 or so percent since on top of the markets being 3-4X overpriced per historical measures for an economy in the toilet.

    Real GDP growth upon proper accounting has been deeply negative for 8 years running. View where I show it was negative 5% recently:

    There is no fundamental reason why the added surge should take place.

    For those who think the economy has recovered, shame on you.

    KJ – This remark is made more generally:

    Whenever there are improvements to make life more efficient, there will be a short-term gain in jobs but a net decrease in jobs over time as that’s what is created by the improved efficiency.

    It’s basically an axiom that our failed overpaid leaders can’t figure out.

    The solution is to cut the salaries of overpaid government employees, get the cost of living down through ways I speak of on:

    Get rid of the illicit Federal Reserve, and when all this is done, reduce the legal workweek.

    It should be so obvious but since it is not to the masses, I had to be the one to stand up to spell it out.
