The Long Distance Runner
All I know is that you got to run.
Run without even knowing why.
You can run against the wind or with the wind at your back.
Don’t slack.
Every runner’s gonna take some flak.
The fork in the road says take the road less traveled.
But whether snowed or graveled the long distance runner shuns the road less tracked.
He runs straight ahead and never looks back.

So I’m sitting (alone) in my small apartment this morning, thinking, and wondering how things could get so crazy in politics and even science.
And it occurred to me that once the Jews were emancipated during the horrific French Revolution, which spread throughout Europe thanks to the campaigns of Napoleon, the analytic rigor imparted to the study of natural phenomena by European Christians fell prey to the same absurdities manifested by Marx and his idiotic ideologies: paradox and contradiction, and even mystery, were assimilated into the disciplines and even lauded.
And it continues to this day.
As you know, I am an historian of science and math, and reading the primary sources in the European sciences I began to realize something strange happening, and it seemed to happen at the same time period of the French Revolution.
I was studying Boyle and his meticulous experiments, that aided in the finding of the atomistic theories. Some 19th century scientists, like Faraday and Maxwell, and many many others were rigorous in their analysis and experimentation, but there no Jews among them.
And another thing that occurred to me, was that it wasn’t until the Muslims came across ancient classical Greek and Roman writings and philosophies that these were translated eventually into Latin and made available to European Christians.
What were the Jews doing all this time? Certainly not increasing knowledge of the natural world. Maybe the mystical world, vis-a-vis the Qabalah.

But Protestants fail to realize that the Church condemned heretics, and disallowed reading of Scripture by the uneducated, for very good reasons.
One was that the interpretation of Scripture could lead to vastly illogical and non-rational doctrines, like the Cathars, the Bogomils, and the Calvinists, who believed that an individual’s fate in the after-life was determined at his birth.
Catholics do not have the idiotic pre-millennialism and post-millenarism and the End Times and the Rapture that seems to abound here in America, when America got ‘woke up’ in the later 19th century.
To continue my previous comment, perhaps the sense of being especially chosen, set apart from other people (to the extent that the Jews should be responsible for guiding and ‘blessing’ all other nations), gives them carte blanche for the acceptance of absurdities. There is no other ‘guideline’ in their history that would prevent this type of arrogance.

Citizenfitz, as long as there are no severe consequences of either protestant or catholic doctrine I can be very tolerant. A person has the ‘belief system’ that he thinks fits or suits him, and there certainly enough to fit or suit anybody.
But sects like the Gnostics, Cathars, Bogomils and now that which happened in America in the latter part of the 19th century, the ‘dispensationalist’ and premillenialist movements that resulted in the adoration of everything Zionist should not be tolerated.
Why did this occurrence in the southern United State following Reconstruction, take place and invite so many, including the ‘born again’, into this irrationality?
Perhaps it was a result of the humiliation served up to the white Christian Confederate veterans and civilians during the Reconstruction, along with a naive and gullible people recently emancipated.
I’m still working on the ‘chosenness’ mindset of the J-Ws.
And I am reminded of a very primitive and savage tribe of peoples living in the norther part of South America, in the Amazon region, known as the “Yamamomo”. These people, in their very immature mentality, not yet adult in its character, believe that those who are not of their ‘tribe’, are subhuman.
Reading and hearing of various teachings in the Talmud that anything goy, or gentile, or non-J-Wish (especially Christians) are not human like the J-Ws are, and therefore are treated with contempt and immoral actions, tells me that Judaism is still stuck with the same mindset as the primitive Yamamomo, and even given two thousand years of exposure to a more moral, spiritual and mature religion–Christianity–they not only remained primitive, but seemed to have intensified it.
Perhaps that has been their ‘gut reaction’ to a religion that not only took over the Jewish sacred writings for themselves, but took over the entire Roman Empire, so that Christianity became the dominant religion, even though J-Wish tradition considered themselves the ‘chosen’.

Jesus calls them out for about seven items, all true. And he says “You sit in the seat of Moses”, perhaps meaning it is the Pharisees and Talmudists who make the laws, not God. “You sit in the seat of Moses”.
I just now figured out why the Jews in the early Dark Ages (late classical period) didn’t bother to translate ancient Greek texts into Latin, as the Muslims did, once they were exposed to them.
