    The Great Purge

    Everybody’s heard about FEMA camps.

With 800 of these “Relocation Centers” across America they are prepared to house the distressed whenever disaster strikes.

Now, the cornerstone of FEMA is an underground bunker in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains originally called “Mount Weather.”

Created as an observation point for meteorologists, in 1954 it interlaced with the Pentagon’s bunker at Raven Rock in Pennsylvania, and was renamed “Operation High Point.”

It was expanded by the Army into the nation’s largest underground complex that included its own water source, sewage plant, cafeteria, and hospital.

So in some ways, America is prepared for the impending crisis which I call, ‘The Corona Collapse,’ an apocalyptic coalescence of human disease coupled with economic disaster.

Now*—and this is notable—during World War 2 the government housed 100 conscientious objectors at this “Mount Weather” bunker and pressed them into service as weather researchers to help with the war effort.

Soon we’re gonna need lots of help.

Due to the lockdowns and business closings, we now see municipalities, cities, states, all looking for hand-outs from the Federal Reserve Bank.

Called, the “Municipal Liquidity Facility”—these are not hand-outs—but loans, at interest, of yet more money printed out of thin air in a two year plan by the Fed.

    Then comes repayment on demand.

This is a first in American history where fake money spreads from the federal level to the sovereign state level.

The FED—a consortium of Jewish banks revolving and pivoting around the Rothschild Family Dynasty fulcrum and seat—could then own every nook and cranny of American life including the local police.

Once it’s ‘payment on demand,’ the operation will become the “Municipal Enslavement Plan.”

Unable to pay even the principal, let alone interest, Munis will find their precious assets privatized:

Historic sites, lands, municipal buildings, hospitals, water and sewage plants, lakes, roads, parks, pools, bikeways, hiking trails, all gobbled up by Jewish vultures demanding fees from the hapless goys.

You’re gonna have to pay some Jew to take your kid to the park.

And with the money the FED ’steals into existence’—since it doesn’t represent goods and services—then demanding its ‘corona loans’ be repaid with real wealth, their Federal Reserve notes–dollar bills–won’t even buy you a wad of bubble gum.

The Corona Collapse leaves two groups of people: Producers and Parasites.

The Producers—historically of white European Christian stock—keep the economy going by creating wealth for the country through their work.

These are typically entrepreneurs, engineers, farmers, and laborers.

The Parasites can be divided into two groups: Lazy Parasites and Professional Parasites.

Lazy Parasites live off of government assistance, sometimes for generations.

[Clip: “I need my food stamps. I need them.” “I am here to get some benefits. I mean, I’m here to get checks.” “Food stamps. It’s just food.” “When was the last time you actually worked?” “Awhhh, I would say about half a decade.” “Any intention of going in to get a job? Or are you just here to get the food stamps?” “Not here looking for a job.”]

Professional Parasites—also for generations—bleed the work of the Producers by financing their labor with worthless, yet legally-tendered, money.

These Professional Parasites are better known as Jews.

Now America is presently in ‘Chapter 11′ of bankruptcy.

This bodes ill for the Lazy Parasites since the welfare state is on respirator mode and will soon croak.

But it bodes well for the Professional Parasites, who seeing currency in decline, will use their fake cash to buy real assets like farmland.

With demand for farms consequently rising, prices for the land will soar.

Hyperinflation throughout the food supply chain then creeps in, fleecing the wages of the common goy.

We must repeal the Federal Reserve Act ASAP and let local banks issue their own currency based on commodities of their choice.

Now the Lazy Parasites hanging around could present a challenge.

    But not a big one.

Just stock the FEMA camps with fries and wide screen TV’s, throw in some Cheetos, and put the Lazy Parasites to work for the recovery effort, just like the government did with “Mount Weather.”

A great purge is upon us.

Like Noah in his day, let’s make another purge great again.

    Hi Brother Nathanael,

Can I ask you something? Are we truly living in the end? Is Jesus, His return close?

I mean these are seriously messed up times and the apostasy is just insane.

Can I have your opinion on this subject? What do you think?

Greetings, from an Orthodox Christian brother in Europe.

  6. Citizenfitz April 16, 2020 @ 3:03 pm

The host is being bled white(r) by the parasites.

But in a mystery future ages will struggle to decipher, the host DEFENDS its parasites – and responds negatively when others point out that it is allowing itself to be killed.

Maybe Freud was right after all.

  7. Orthodox Christian from Europe April 16, 2020 @ 3:10 pm

    One more thing Brother Nathanael,

Pleae clear this up for me once and for all. Is the coronavirus a hoax or not?

I know they want to push their pathetic satanic new world order, but what if the virus is real, a man made one? Or is it fake, created by 5G, or is it real, but its not so bad, that it’s just exaggerated by the jews? I need answers!

There TRULY are (Orthodox) christians who believe this virus is REAL, others believe it’s a hoax. Jesus said pestilences in the end times, but what if 5G is the pestilence? I need an answer please!

    God bless you!

Yes – lets make a another purge great again.

And the middle class is stuck in the middle of all this evilness. Obama tried to do away with the middle class.

Now it looks as if the middle class is the main obstacle to these wormy jew overlords and their monopoly money.

I see Robert F Kennedy is helping expose Bill Gates and 5G on his Instagram page.

I see he wrote a comment to someone regarding the New York Times being owned by Carlos Slim.

I looked up who owns the Times and apparently the Sulzberger family owns a smaller percent.

    Did something change?

  11. Brother Nathanael April 16, 2020 @ 6:17 pm

The Sulzberger family owns the NYT in a two-class ownership structure, 90% privately, and the other half publicly traded.

The Sulzberger family owns 90% as its privatly-owned proprietors, but they split “ownership” into the remaining 10% as public stock shares diveed up where Carlos Sims owns 17%, Sulzberger 12%, Vanguard 8%, and others.

CONTROLLING interest still belongs to the Sulzberger family in their 90% privately-held proprietorship. +bn

Excellent analysis plus an excellent plan.

“These Professional Parasites are better known as Jews.”

The disconcerting part in all of this is just how few parasites (on both ends) exist and yet their control over the rest of us is extremely burdensome.

And then we have “the money the FED ’steals into existence’” being so true.

    Re “Blacks”

I recommend an excellent book by Myron Magnet: “THE DREAM AND THE NIGHTMARE: THE 60S LEGACY TO THE UNDERCLASS.

The black community has been and will continue to be kept on the reservation of liberalism.

The culture of excuse, evasion and victimhood that started in the 1960s is the reason why a genius like Louis Armstrong has been replaced by Snoop Dog and hoodlum gangster rappers, tone-deaf felons.

THAT is the cause of their demise. From Reconstruction until the “Great Society” (which Daniel Patrick Moynahan criticized and was labeled a racist) when the “experts” took control of the debate, the black family had caught up and even surpassed the white family in household income.

Out of wedlock births and nonsense propaganda like the series “Roots” was just the beginning of their and the nation’s downward spiral.

America has been dreaming up a way to rid the world of the “blacks” along with other deplorables ever since…and as outlined by Bro Nat above, they finally figured out a way.

Good luck to everyone. Stay strong and keep the faith.

Our flesh returns to the earth but our spirits are immortal.

Thank you for coming up with a powerful and sobering Video.

East Coast and West Coast governors, mostly Democrats, had already announced forming regional governors’ consortia to open their economies.

Miffed, Trumpus Caesar announced that only he has the authority to decide when to reopen the economy, which is extremely unconstitutional, to say the least. It didn’t take long for him to drop this nonsense, probably on the unanimous advice of the White House lawyers, and perhaps a friendly email or two from SCOTUS Justices.

Trump has no direct authority over the governors, or deciding when to reopen the state economies.

Of course Trump had to come up with something to restore his brand. And given the growing momentum of #FireFauci, disgraced Fauci would prefer not to have his head served up on a platter, and gave the Guidelines his imprimatur.

Trump’s guidelines are merely recommendations and don’t carry the weight of executive orders, which are only applicable to the executive branch anyway. Nevertheless, the guidelines do make practical sense.

Apparently the governors had no objections to the recommended stages criteria.

At least We The People have something in the way of what to expect instead of the extreme model projection chaos and fear-mongering the past 6-8 weeks.

Trump’s Guidelines to Reopen Economy Put Onus on Governors

    Wall Street Journal

By Andrew Restuccia and Catherine Lucey

    April 16, 2020

WASHINGTON—President Trump outlined broad new federal guidelines for opening up the country that will put the onus on governors to decide how to restart the economies in their states amid mounting fallout from the coronavirus outbreak.

The new guidelines come as lawmakers and business leaders press the administration to expand virus testing, and days after Mr. Trump said that he—not governors—was the final arbiter on when to reopen the country.

“America wants to be open, and Americans want to be open,” Mr. Trump told reporters at the White House on Thursday, adding later, “We must have a working economy, and we want to get it back very, very quickly.”

The new guidelines, formally known as Opening Up America Again, outline a three-phase process for opening up the country based on the scope of the outbreak in individual states.

“We are not opening all at once, but one careful step at a time,” Mr. Trump said.

The guidelines don’t suggest specific reopening dates. Instead, they encourage states to base their decisions on data.

The White House’s plan says states should move to the first phase of reopening after exhibiting a downward trend of documented cases or positive tests over a two-week period. States could move onto the other stages after showing that cases aren’t surging.

Under the first phase, movie theaters, restaurants, sports venues, places of worship, gyms and other venues could open with strict social-distancing guidelines in place, though bars would stay closed. Schools and day-care centers that are closed would remain shuttered.

The plan recommends that vulnerable individuals remain at home during the first phase, and prohibits visits to nursing homes and hospitals. Some people could return to work in phases, though telework is still encouraged under the plan.

In the second phase, nonessential travel could resume and bars could open with some restrictions. Schools and youth activities could reopen.

Vulnerable individuals would still be told to stay home and visits to nursing homes and hospitals would still be barred. Telework would continue to be encouraged.

For phase three, there would be no restrictions on workplaces and vulnerable people could resume social interactions, but should seek to follow social distancing.

Visits to hospitals and nursing homes could resume, and bars could increase their standing-room capacity.

The president said some states with few cases could proceed to the first phase as early as Friday if they meet the criteria.

He declined to name any specific states, deferring to governors, but said there are as many as 29 states that could soon begin the process of opening.

But officials stressed that the virus could make a comeback in some states.

“There may be some setbacks. Let’s face it,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, the administration’s top infectious-disease expert, cautioned. “We may have to pull back a little, and then go forward.”

The president told governors during a videoconference earlier Thursday that they will make the final decision on opening their states.

“You’re going to call your own shots,” Mr. Trump told the governors, according to a recording of the call reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. “We’ll be standing right alongside of you and we’re going to get our country open.”

Mr. Trump praised the guidelines and said he wanted to get the country running again. He told the governors that some states were in “good shape” to open quickly, even before May 1 if they want, though other states may need to take longer.

He also said the country’s testing capabilities are excellent, adding that the testing process has improved from early versions that involved sticking a swab into the nasal cavity.

“I was a victim of the first test, meaning I had to go through it and I didn’t like what was happening when they tell you that it goes up your nose and they hang a right at your eye and it goes right to your eye,” Mr. Trump said. “You’ve got to be kidding. I called it an operation, not a test.”

Mr. Trump said the new guidelines have been approved by the administration’s public-health advisers, including Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus coordinator, and Dr. Fauci.

“The dominating drive of this was to make sure that this is done in the safest way possible,” Dr. Fauci told reporters on Thursday.

Lifting the restrictions has been the subject of fierce debate both inside and outside the Trump administration, at times pitting economic-policy makers eager to reverse massive job losses against public-health experts concerned about a resurgence of cases.

It will ultimately be up to individual governors to formally lift state stay-at-home orders. While some governors are looking to the federal government for guidance and may feel political pressure to follow Mr. Trump’s lead, most governors will make the decision based on evolving conditions in their states.

Some states have already extended restrictions past April 30. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, said Thursday that nonessential businesses in his state would remain closed at least through May 15.

Mr. Cuomo is part of a coalition of East Coast governors consulting each other on coronavirus guidelines. A similar group exists on the West Coast, and a bipartisan group of seven Midwestern governors said Thursday it would do the same.

In a news briefing after the call with Mr. Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said a task force he created to plan for a reopening would meet for the first time on Friday, and he hopes to announce a plan within a week.

“The first phase is a gradual reopening, and then if the trends continue good, then you do a larger reopening,” said Mr. DeSantis, a Republican.

In recent days, Mr. Trump has touted his relationships with governors, stressing that he will work closely with them as they weigh plans to reopen.

At the same time, the president has emphasized that states have responsibility for obtaining crucial medical supplies and coronavirus tests, positioning the federal government, which has faced criticism for its response to the outbreak, as a backup.

The president has criticized some governors, including Mr. Cuomo, with the two men publicly trading barbs in recent days.

Public-health experts, including some in the Trump administration, have warned that reopening the country too soon could prompt a second wave of coronavirus cases, undercut ongoing mitigation efforts and overwhelm the health-care system.

Dr. Fauci said this week that the country lacked the testing and virus-tracing capabilities needed to reopen. Some business executives raised similar concerns during a teleconference with Mr. Trump on Wednesday.

Mr. Trump held phone briefings on Thursday with House and Senate lawmakers. The White House announced a coronavirus advisory group made up of elected officials, part of a broader task force of more than 200 business executives that Mr. Trump established this week.

The bipartisan group includes all Republican members of the Senate, except Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, who voted to convict Mr. Trump in the impeachment trial in February. Twelve Senate Democrats will serve on the committee, alongside 32 House members—22 Republicans and 10 Democrats.

The president opened a call with several House lawmakers by touting his response to the coronavirus pandemic, saying he had done a lot of things right, according to people who were on the call.

Lawmakers from both parties repeatedly told the White House that testing for coronavirus needed to be expanded to reopen the government, as well as contact tracing.

On a separate call with senators, Mr. Trump again heard bipartisan calls to ramp up testing. He said the country’s testing system had steadily advanced, according to a person familiar with the matter. He pointed to a newly developed saliva test, arguing it would make it easier for people to determine whether they have the virus.

The U.S. has conducted more than 3 million tests for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, since the start of the outbreak. Experts say the level of testing would need to increase to millions of tests a week before Americans can return to work in large numbers.

Dr. Birx said on Thursday the U.S. has the capacity “for at least a million more tests per week.”

“We have a whole team working lab by lab to see what it would take to turn on all of those labs that aren’t running the pieces of equipment now,” she said.

Mr. Trump is eager to reopen the country as soon as possible, according to White House officials, who are closely tracking the ailing economy. Another 5.2 million Americans filed for unemployment benefits last week, bringing the total seeking aid in a month of coronavirus-related shutdowns to 22 million.

    Interesting vid, dear Brother.

I find it surprising that the Barron’s article you cite is honest about the Fed not granting a bailout, but a loan with repayment due after two years.

And like the IMF, privatization kicks in when the debt is unpaid:

“You’re gonna have to pay some Jew to take your kid to the park.”

Jewish vultures are like real vultures, they feed on the dead.

    There’s one difference.

Jewish vultures do the killing before they start feeding.

Many doom and gloom scenarios with this event.

Sure the potential for things to get real bad are possible. There will be a percentage of casualties and failures but there are successes too.

It only took about a month to tank the market, and send millions into unemployment. However every terrible event in the past, as a country we have recovered and carried on.

It’s the End of the World Economy as We Know It

Experts suggest there will be “a rethink of how much any country wants to be reliant on any other country.”

    New York Times

    Neil Irwin

    April 16, 2020

When big convulsive economic events happen, the implications tend to take years to play out, and spiral in unpredictable directions.

Who would have thought that a crisis that began with mortgage defaults in American suburbs in 2007 would lead to a fiscal crisis in Greece in 2010?

Or that a stock market crash in New York in 1929 would contribute to the rise of fascists in Europe in the 1930s?

The world economy is an infinitely complicated web of interconnections. We each have a series of direct economic relationships we can see: the stores we buy from, the employer that pays our salary, the bank that makes us a home loan. But once you get two or three levels out, it’s really impossible to know with any confidence how those connections work.

And that, in turn, shows what is unnerving about the economic calamity accompanying the spread of the novel coronavirus.

In the years ahead, we will learn what happens when that web is torn apart, when millions of those links are destroyed all at once. And it opens the possibility of a global economy completely different from the one that has prevailed in recent decades.

“As much as I hope we are able to get ordinary economic activity back up, that’s just the beginning of our problem,” said Adam Tooze, a historian at Columbia University and author of “Crashed,” a study of the extensive global ripple effects of the 2008 financial crisis.

“This is a period of radical uncertainty, an order of magnitude greater than anything we’re used to.”

It would be foolish, amid such uncertainty, to make overly confident predictions about how the world economic order will look in five years, or even in five months.

But one lesson of these episodes of economic tumult is that those surprising ripple effects tend to result from longstanding unaddressed frailties. Crises have a way of bringing to the fore issues that are easy to ignore in good times.

One obvious candidate is globalization, in which companies can move production wherever it’s most efficient, people can hop on a plane and go nearly anywhere, and money can flow to wherever it will be put to its highest use.

The idea of a world economy with the United States at its center was already falling apart, between the rise of China and America’s own turn toward nationalism.

There are signs that the Covid-19 crisis is exaggerating, and possibly cementing, those changes.

“There will be a rethink of how much any country wants to be reliant on any other country,” said Elizabeth Economy, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.

“I don’t think fundamentally this is the end of globalization. But this does accelerate the type of thinking that has been going on in the Trump administration, that there are critical technologies, critical resources, reserve manufacturing capacity that we want here in the U.S. in case of crisis.”

Consider just a few pieces of evidence for the weakening underpinnings of globalization.

France’s finance minister directed French companies to re-evaluate their supply chains to become less dependent on China and other Asian nations.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has said it will seize exports of certain medical supplies.

And on Friday, Senator Lindsey Graham suggested that the United States should punish China for failing to contain the virus by canceling debt the Chinese government owns — a step that would risk the role of U.S. Treasury bonds as the bedrock of the world financial system.

Even before the coronavirus hit, the limits of globalization were becoming clearer.

Trade as a share of global G.D.P. peaked in 2008 and has trended lower ever since. The election of President Trump and the onset of a trade war with China had already made multinational companies start to rethink their operations.

“I think companies are actively talking about resilience,” said Susan Lund, a partner at McKinsey who studies global interconnectedness. “To what extent would companies be willing to sacrifice quarter-to-quarter efficiency for resilience over the long term, whether that’s natural disasters, the climate crisis, pandemics or other shocks?”

She envisions not so much a full-scale retreat from global trade as a shift toward regional trade blocs and greater emphasis on having companies build redundancy into their supply networks.

Governments will probably insist that certain goods, like pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, rely more on domestic production given the current global scramble for those items.

China has reoriented its economic strategy, aiming to be not a low-cost manufacturing hub for the world but the maker of technologically advanced products like aircraft and telecommunications equipment.

That has made Americans, Europeans and the Japanese all the more reluctant to have major operations in China, for fear of intellectual property theft.

Under the Trump administration, the United States has experienced strain with even traditional allies in Western Europe. Put it all together, and a more every-nation-for-itself mentality was already becoming ingrained before Covid-19, in ways the pandemic seems to be reinforcing.

“What typically happens after you get a crisis like this is people talk about new eras and how the post-pandemic world will be different,” said Ruchir Sharma, chief global strategist at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. “This time I think the trends that were already in motion before this pandemic will be accelerated.”

In a past episode of de-globalization — the unwinding of global commerce that took place amid World War I and the 1918 flu epidemic — there was also a remaking of the global financial system, with the British pound losing its pre-eminence.

That kind of thing could plausibly happen this time too, but initial signs point the other way: toward the dollar’s becoming even more entrenched at the center of the global financial system.

The U.S. Federal Reserve has opened swap lines with 14 overseas central banks — which enables them to pump dollars into their domestic banking systems — and started a novel program that lets other countries obtain dollars by pledging Treasury bonds as collateral.

Those moves are helping ensure that a global dollar shortage doesn’t paralyze the world economy.

European officials have been reluctant to take steps that would make the euro more central to the world currency system, such as issuing bonds that are jointly guaranteed by the countries of the eurozone.

And China has, if anything, been reluctant to remake its financial system in ways that could enable the renminbi to become more crucial to world commerce, such as allowing free capital flows in and out of the currency.

Mark Carney, the former governor of the Bank of England, delivered an influential speech to fellow central bankers last August arguing that the current international monetary and financial system, with its deep dollar dependence, was unsustainable. But the pandemic may be entrenching that flawed system.

“The dollar system is inherently unstable, but so is a bicycle,” said Mr. Tooze, the historian. “They’re unstable, but if you’re a skilled rider of them, they’re great. And the Fed has demonstrated it’s a skilled rider of the dollar hegemony bike.”

At times over the last 12 years, it has felt as if the world were reliving the period of 1918 to 1939, but as if told by a forgetful student who was getting the events out of order.

That era also featured a global financial collapse; a rise of authoritarian governments; the emergence of a new economic superpower (the United States then, China now); and a pandemic, though not in that sequence.

We may not know exactly where this crisis will lead, for the world economy or anything else. But one thing seems clear: History sure can be scary when you don’t know how it ends.

Sanctioned-to-the-hilt, war-torn Syria, which currently has a very small COVID-19 breakout, whose crippled and ruined hospital infrastructure, medical and public health systems began mobilizing weeks ago to prepare for a possible epidemic, and which is blockaded for imports, including medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, has managed to “officially released our own ventilator that was designed & built from scratch by a special team at the Aleppo Chamber of Industry” in just 16 days.

They were able to engineer a working prototype “from materials culled from local manufacturers. A key challenge was to design the shape to fit the existing parts.”

How’s that for national manufacturing self-reliance?

  21. Ed April 17, 2020 @ 10:55 am

I wonder how this supposed contagion is primarily spread.

Could it be done by drones? If it was, one could expect another attack before the next election.

Well, without mentioning those who cannot be named, Paul Craig Roberts pretty much expands on +BN’s theme of the Rothschild-owned Fed’s financial and economic mayhem of America.

Actually, in answer to PCR’s questioning headlines, out here in California, we’ve been living under a Silicon Valley Democrat techno-neoliberal neo-feudalism under the 1% for years.

That’s why, those who would be considered middle to upper middle class professionals anywhere else but perhaps the East Coast, are living out of their cars, RV’s and in shipping container housing in the metro-urban sprawl of the Bay Area.

Are We Brewing a New Feudalism?

    April 16, 2020

    Paul Craig Roberts

The answer to the question is “YES.” The large bailed-out creditors will end up with the property of the non-bailed-out debtors who are being pushed deeper into debt with “bail-out loans” and fees and penalties for missed debt payments. Write-offs for the One Percent, and more indebtedness for everyone else.

Turn your mind to the economy. The US has a work force of 164,000,000. The unemployment forecast from the work closedowns is 30%. That would mean 49,000,000 people who are potential rioters. (We are half way there with today’s report of a 16% unemployment rate with 22 million unemployed).

Many of these people were already living paycheck to paycheck, could not raise $400, and their debts leave them no discretionary income.

As they could barely service their debts when employed, how do they service them when unemployed and when their small businesses are closed and incurring costs but have no revenues?

Loans further indebt them. The cash payouts to the unemployed might cover food and housing but will not service their debts.

Fast food franchises and stores in malls are saying they are not paying their rents for three months. Mall owners won’t be able to pay their creditors.

The bailout works for no one except those who caused the problem. As they are being bailed out, they will have the money to buy up or foreclose on the bankrupted businesses. More property will be concentrated in fewer hands.

The bail-out scheme concocted by the New York banks and Trump’s Treasury Secretary, who earned the name “the foreclosure king” during his Wall Street career, leaves creditors whole and debtors deeper in debt.

The more debt is concentrated in fewer hands and the more indebted everyone else becomes, the less consumer purchasing power there is to drive the economy. The foreclosed assets become less valuable as their profitability declines with consumer purchasing power.

The destruction of the US economy has been underway since global corporations moved middle class jobs offshore.

It has been underway since the financial sector diverted a larger share of consumer income to the service of debt.

It has been underway since corporations invested their profits in buying back their own shares instead of expanding their production capabilities.

It has been underway since Quantitative Easing inflated stock and bond prices beyond realistic values.

It has been going on since the rules against concentration were set aside and the Glass-Steagall Act was repealed. It has been going on since endless wars crowded out infrastructure investment and social safety net expansion.

Is this a plot or stupidity? Whatever the answer, the economy is being destroyed.

The economic problem is that private sector debt, both personal and corporate, is too great to be paid. This problem existed prior to the closedown.

The closedown means that there is even less income with which to service the unsustainable level of debt. This is not a problem that can be fixed with more debt.

The problem is that banks lend to finance the purchase of existing financial assets, not to exand the economy’s productive potential.

The problem is that corporations use their profits and borrow money in order to buy back their own equity instead of investing in their businesses.

The executives indebt the corporations while decapitalizing them, and they are rewarded for doing so with “performance bonuses.”

The problem is that global corporations thinking short-term moved high-productivity, high-value-added US jobs to Asia, thus reducing earned income in the US, impairing state and local tax base, and causing the Federal Reserve to substitute a growth in consumer debt in place of the lost consumer income growth.

The people in charge of the fix are only fixing it for themselves and in a short-sighted way.

There is only one way to fix the situation, and that is to write down private sector debts to levels that can be serviced.

As the creditors are being bailed out regardless, their loan losses don’t matter.

The bank and corporate bailouts are an opportunity to fix the economy in other important ways. In effect, the bailouts amount to nationalization.

The government should accept the ownership that it is purchasing. Then the government can break up the “banks too big to fail” and separate investment from commercial banking without having to pass new Glass-Steagall legislation and without having to battle against financial lobbying in Congress.

Once broken up, the banks could be sold off. This would take enormous vulnerability out of the financial system and restore financial competition.

With corporations in government hands, the jobs could be brought home from overseas. The middle class would be restored.

These measures together with a debt writedown would restore consumer purchasing power. Pent-up demand would propel the economy to higher growth as occurred following World War II.

This is a real solution to a real problem. But with the One Percent in charge of the problem, we are not going to get a real solution.

We are going to get more money used to push up prices of financial assets and paper over unsustainable debt and a dying economy with an artificially-inflated stock market.

The elite have failed us too many times. It is time to dethrone them.

Time to take the pitchforks and torches in hand, and go have a little chat with the lairds.

Will the UN come to the aid of the Jewish bankers? It sounds like WW3 to me with world wide civil unrest.

From memory of 2008, I watched live as the market crashed. The results were:

    1. Gold increased in value to about $1,900/oz over a few months from around $300 a few years before.
    2. Property values dropped due to foreclosures along with property tax over a five year period.
    3. Civilian hiring was flat. Gov hiring freezes and rolling furloughs. Pay cuts.
    4. COLAs nonexistent, three years of 0%.
    5. Gov legislation to cut budget in backs of retirees.
    6. Increased healthcare cost.

This is going to be bigger. Now big ZOG has wiped out the working class and turned to wiping out savers and retired by devaluing the dollar (money printing).

Everyone in office should be voted out for this. But, it’s time to ready your mind for the reality that is to come.

Our faith in God and Jesus Christ will be a blessing and comfort to us.

I do not agree with you for your perception of “Lazy Parasites”.

Lazy parasites are not really parasites.

They may be the disabled, old, racially disadvantage, and sexually disadvantage people, who depend on benefits from the U.S. government.

Some of them can be useful when they find something to do.

They can’t be blamed because of too many jobs are waiting for the illegal immigrants to take, as Professional Parasites are busily destroying some producers’ jobs and firing some others, so H-1B workers could take their jobs.

A good example is corrupted Boeing. Many of its latest planes (737 Max) are seriously flawed, because many experienced engineers were laid off and replaced by the inexperienced H-1B workers.

A victim is Southwest Airlines, which bought 34 planes that wound up grounded. That totally cost $828 million.

Message for Donald Trump: You should not hide the Federal Reserve under the U.S. Treasury’s rug, and then put BlackRock, Inc. in charge of them. Stop busily turning the U.S. government into a private entity.

The U.S. government belongs to the U.S. public/taxpayers, not the Rothschild family, central banks, Israel, and Zionists.

According to Bloomberg’s article (posted only hours ago), BlackRock Inc. was involved in providing an insight to Trump and promoted to take a much bigger role in helping the Federal Reserve to keep the market stabilized.

A connection between BlackRock Inc. and George Soros is found and verified. George Soros’ son, Robert, stepped down as an investment chief for Soros Fund Management in July 2007. His replacement was a BlackRock co-founder named Keith Anderson.

BlackRock filed a lawsuit to sue 16 banks for currency market rigging (Forex Price rigging) in November, 2018.

Banks being sued were Bank of America, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Japan’s MUFG Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Scotland, Societe Generale, Standard Chartered and UBS.

People should remember what happened in the E mini futures /ES ( same as SPX ) overnight trading during the very first overnight trading session after the evening announcement that Trump had won the presidential election.

That particular overnight market started out by quickly dropping a tremendous amount for just one day, but when the day time trading finally opened in the morning, the market had completely recovered before the morning open, and from all of the daytime trading appearances nothing of significance seemed to appear as having happened overnight.

This shows how some very powerful and very influential money people have certain particular thoughts about Trump.

Here are today’s CV19 statistics from Gibraltar (a small British colony on the tip of Spain and at the entrance of the Mediterranean sea) with a population of 30,000 persons

This is one of the few governments that releases detailed statistics.

    No tested = 1859, results pending =60, results received =1799, confirmed cases =132, recovered cases = 111, active cases =21, covid hospital ward = 0 (was 4 before), covid hospital ICU = 0 (was 1) ERS =0

Half of the 147 hospital beds were kept open for this crisis and a new temporary makeshift hospital with 194 beds was opened to assist. All non-urgent medical appointments are cancelled.

Unlike large nations where people depend on CNN-SKY-BBC for their information here it is impossible to lie since the place is so small that everyone knows someone who knows someone who knows what is going on

The neigboring Spanish towns shows an equal lack of crisis which Spanish M.S.M. tells us is because this area does not have much contact with other areas of Spain–complete tosh!!–this is a major tourist destination all the year around because of its temperate climate

CV19 is a media hyped scam—in the case of Gibraltar we are having to listen to a Dr Ferguson from Imperial college LONDON who told the British government to expect 500,000 deaths

I looked, and there was a pale horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades followed close behind. They were given authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill by means of war, famine, disease, and wild animals. – Rev 6:8

Considering the Federal Reserve Bank, the IRS, WW1 & 2, the JFK assassination, pornography, the USS Liberty, 9/11, immigrant invasions, transgender madness, the fake Covid Pandemic, etc, it looks like the disasters foretold in Revelation are led by the children of the devil.

Authority over war, famine, disease, and wild animals means somebody is in charge of it, has authority over it. Satan is the ruler of this world and he rules through his children. Bankster Jews controlling puppet politicians are at the top ranks of Satan’s power structure.

#War – Lots of jew-wise articles document the Jewish role with instigating the French Revolution, the beheading of King Louis XV1 and his wife Marie Antoinette, in overthrowing the government of France. Was there any major war since then that wasn’t instigated by Jews?

#Famine – Bolshevik Jews led in the starvation and death of millions of Russians after the murders of Czar Nicholas Romanov and his family in the Jew Coup of 1917 and WW1. The current squeeze on farmers, ranchers, and food producers seems headed in the same direction – famine.

#Disease – Bio-warfare labs exist for the express purpose of infecting people with deadly diseases. Although the “Covid Pandemic” is fake, a dry run, real pandemics are likely to follow after the trial runs are finished.

#Wild Animals – In the 1950s there were no grizzly bears, wolves, mountain lions, alligators, being “re-introduced.” Common sense and Christianity prevailed. As alligators, cougars, bears, are repopulated, they kill people. The Jewish led violation of civil rights to keep and bear arms means no defense against such wild animals.

In the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Jews documented their plans for using terror to gain rule over the world –

  46. KathJuliane April 18, 2020 @ 2:53 pm

Dear R. Richardson & Ted Gorsline,

+BN isn’t lumping every welfare recipient who are legitimately on social welfare programs who are low income elderly, and/or have serious chronic medical issues and/or seriously mentally impaired, and/or are permanently disabled, nor the working poor with families to feed, as “Lazy Parasites”.

If you go back and actually look at the people interviewed in the clip, they are young, able-bodied, and admit that they do not want to work. That’s part of the parasite “stereotype” he’s presenting, the behaviors and attitudes of a certain type of people, not the race.

If you saw only the skin color (and there was one white face) and not the behavior, then you’re missing the point.

And there are plenty of conservative black and Hispanic thought leaders who speak out about this welfare entitlement mentality as well within the black community.

+BN’s not attacking the elderly, frail, or disabled who legitimately need welfare to get their basic needs met, nor is he attacking race.

Nor is he attacking the 36 million Americans (before COVID’s unemployment explosion) on food stamps including the working poor, unemployed (because they did previously have employment and are looking for work), and even working families on the lower end of the ever-shrinking middle class.

It’s no joke that out here in California, especially on the San Francisco Peninsula, that still employed qualified professional singles and married couples, like teachers and IT techs, making $60,000-100,000 a year, and so solidly white collar middle class, are homeless and literally living out of their cars and RVs because even rentals are through the roof.

Then there are the underemployed and unemployed professionals and white collar types, too.

400-600 sq ft studio apartments in Berkeley, CA across the Bay from San Francisco? On the average, $3,000 month. Buy a house? Forget about it. Studio apartments in San Jose, in the South Bay Area, range from $1500 to $2000 a month. Oh, and studio apartments in San Francisco run $3000 to $5500 a month.

Even smaller, 160 sq foot converted boxy container homes are kind of trendy and may offer some help to the homeless, but for the most part, cities set up a lot of obstacles to box housing rentals.

A single person in the $60,000-$100,000 taxable income range falls into the 22% and 24% federal income tax brackets. The first $9875 of income is taxed at 10%, $9876-40125 taxed at 12%, $40126-85525 is taxed at 22%, and $85526-166301 is taxed at 24%.

And, the federal income tax is withheld from the paycheck, as are the state, local, Social Security and Medicare taxes. That $60,000 or $5000 a month gets whittled down by the accumulated taxes to net take home pay which is probably closer to 2/3 than 3/4 of gross earnings.

The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the shrinking middle class get kicked to the curb. Search for “middle class homeless.”

Besides, most of the elderly, the “Boomers”, worked all of their lives, and paid payroll taxes in the form of income taxes, unemployment taxes, and deductions for Social Security and Medicare taxes, additionally employers paid taxes separately based on the employee’s wages.

Just shy of 13% of adults aged 65 and over are drawing some type of government benefit now. So if we and our former employers paid into the system beforehand, then we (including me) are not, by definition, parasites.

The “Lazy Parasites” as shown in the video clip are young, able bodied people who refuse to work, and the last guy even admitted to it, all with a serious case of entitlement mentality regardless of race, that is, the world owes them, so gimme, gimme, gimme.

I’ve talked with some millennials with college degrees, (some with rather useless ones in liberal arts, especially feminist studies) who’ve said in effect,”I won’t start at the bottom. I won’t work until somebody gives me a career.” But this is nothing new with millennials, my own nephew had this attitude 25 years ago.

In fact, I’ve located what I believe is the longer video that +BN’s clips came from, as well as a sequel vid, both titled “Entitlement Mentality”.

They’re published on a YouTube channel titled ‘Get A Job’ owned by Jesse Lee Peterson, a Black conservative Christian minister, commentator, political figure, and author, and former independent small business owner, and now president of BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny.

Peterson is very critical of “poverty mentality” gripping the black community, the ruination of Black America and black families by liberals starting with L.B. Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ expansion of the welfare state designed to keep blacks in poverty, and the race-baiting, race-hustling Black liberal leadership such as Jesse Jackson, certainly exploiting the misery of his own black folk.

Peterson authored ‘SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America’.

His Christian oriented, modestly run organization, BOND, is “dedicated to ‘Rebuilding the Family by Rebuilding the Man’ with comprehensive social programs including church services, men and women’s forums and counseling, family counseling, a private school for grades 1-12, a home for young men, and an entrepeneur academy.

Peterson had some choice things to say in a blistering editorial about “Moral poverty cost blacks in New Orleans” after Hurricane Katrina back in 2005:

[Quote] Say a hurricane is about to destroy the city you live in. Two questions:

    What would you do?

What would you do if you were black?

Sadly, the two questions don’t have the same answer.

To the first: Most of us would take our families out of that city quickly to protect them from danger. Then, able-bodied men would return to help others in need, as wives and others cared for children, elderly, infirm and the like.

For better or worse, Hurricane Katrina has told us the answer to the second question. If you’re black and a hurricane is about to destroy your city, then you’ll probably wait for the government to save you.

This was not always the case. Prior to 40 years ago, such a pathetic performance by the black community in a time of crisis would have been inconceivable. The first response would have come from black men. They would take care of their families, bring them to safety, and then help the rest of the community. Then local government would come in.

No longer. When 75 percent of New Orleans residents had left the city, it was primarily immoral, welfare-pampered blacks that stayed behind and waited for the government to bail them out. This, as we know, did not turn out good results.

Enter Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan. Jackson and Farrakhan laid blame on “racist” President Bush. Farrakhan actually proposed the idea that the government blew up a levee so as to kill blacks and save whites.

The two demanded massive governmental spending to rebuild New Orleans, above and beyond the federal government’s proposed $60 billion.

Not only that, these two were positioning themselves as the gatekeepers to supervise the dispersion of funds. Perfect: Two of the most dishonest elite blacks in America, “overseeing” billions of dollars. I wonder where that money will end up.

Of course, if these two were really serious about laying blame on government, they should blame the local one.

Responsibility to perform – legally and practically – fell first on the mayor of New Orleans.

We are now all familiar with Mayor Ray Nagin – the black Democrat who likes to yell at President Bush for failing to do Nagin’s job.

The facts, unfortunately, do not support Nagin’s wailing. As the Washington Times puts it, “recent reports show [Nagin] failed to follow through on his own city’s emergency-response plan, which acknowledged that thousands of the city’s poorest residents would have no way to evacuate the city.”[Unquote]

Here are Peterson’s two videos of “headache-inducing assemblage of narcissists, malcontents, and gimme-gimmes,” not all of them black.

Entitlement Mentality Compilation – Entitled Welfare and Food Stamp Users

Entitlement Mentality Compilation 2: Entitled Welfare and Food Stamp Users

Then there are the “welfare mothers” who deliberately have child after child after child after child in order to collect their children’s benefits. Then there are the petty drug dealers who make more money “off the books” than they would make working a minimum wage job. Then there are the multi-generational families stuck in the “welfare trap” since the 1960s who know nothing else but living on the system.

These Lazy Parasites are examples of what in another context of solely making a living off of social welfare programs can be called “professional welfare parasites,” are masters at deceit and manipulating government services, fraudulently milking the system for benefits, and they are very skilled at doing so.

The greatest cause of poverty in America today is the current welfare system itself. That is because the incentives of the flawed welfare system lead able-bodied people to take the counterproductive actions that cause poverty in the first place – not working, or non-work, and single mothers bearing children outside of marriage taking money from a system which penalizes fathers, to name a couple.

Despite nearly $15 trillion in total welfare spending since Lyndon Johnson declared War on Poverty in 1964, the poverty rate is perilously close to where we began more than 40 years ago, and blacks on the whole are no better off, and as an economic class, even worse off than they were in the 1950s and ’60s, with a solid rising middle class all across America, even in the segregated South.

Then there’s the more sophisticated Social Security Disability Insurance fraud, even performed to the point of successfully faking early-onset dementia.

All too often, the Social Security Administration fails to weed out legitimate disability claimants from those who are capable of working and are attempting to defraud the system by receiving regular income without having to get a job.

As a result, countless Americans are scamming SSDI by collecting taxpayer-funded disability benefits improperly, and worse these scammers cheat and rob the legitimately disabled.

There are various factors that can make it very difficult for those who earnestly want to work to actually secure employment; age, disability, history of substance misuse, criminal record, homelessness, lack of skills, education or experience.

How about age, and ageism? A friend of mine, a white male in his 50s, spent two years working hard at a technical college to get his associate degree and certificates in Computer Assisted Drafting and Design, and came out with top marks, and has an obvious talent for designing stainless steel products.

It took another 18 months for him to finally land a job with a machining company. Why? Because he’s in his late 50s. He said as soon as he walked in the door, he could tell from the interviewer’s expression at first seeing him that he wouldn’t get the job, and the only reason had to be because of his age.

In the larger picture, crypto-ageism creeps in to Big Tech as well. Middle aged people more or less forced to get retraining for new professional occupations after their manufacturing jobs folded, don’t get hired, because it’s cheaper to outsource and offshore, and to import young, temporary foreign workers on H1B Visas than to pay benefits, especially employement health insurance, the employer’s costs of which steadily rise as a person ages.

I could go on and on. But the the plain truth is, +BN is ‘stereotyping’ a certain segment of society with a certain mentality (which includes whites), not all black people, and not all blacks who are on social welfare programs because they do have legitimate needs, including probably nutritional or genetically based chronic medical conditions which occur at a higher rate among black men than among whites, Asians, or Native Americans.

It’s as true for blacks as it is for the Jews — if you don’t want to be stereotyped, then stop acting like the very stereotype you object to as being “racist”.

That’s certainly Jesse Lee Peterson’s attitude, and he has the chops as a stereotypical ‘poor, disadvantaged Southern black man from a broken family’ to back it up, making his way in world the hard way. His advantage was that he was given a Christian upbringing in strong family values and discipline especially by his grandparents.

[Quote] Born in 1949 in the sleepy little town of Comer Hill, Alabama, he grew up on the former plantation where his great-grandparents had labored as slaves. His father would not acknowledge him, and his mother had moved north to start a family with another man.

Peterson was raised by his grandmother and frequently disciplined by his grandfather, who managed the old farm for its white owners.

But despite the fact that his great-grandfather had been murdered by a white mob, and despite the Jim Crow world in which they lived, “Not once did I hear them blame white folks or say that it was because we were black,” he tells me.

“They understood that it was wrong, but they understood that it was a moral issue, it was a spiritual issue. And so they taught us not to hate.” [End quote]

Peterson is very outspoken in his opinion that “most black Americans are suffering not because of racism but the lack of moral character.”

He decries the transformation of the civil rights movement from a principled appeal to the American creed, to a politicized shakedown of guilt-ridden whites.

The fact is, Republicans were early leaders, and more unified in supporting the civil rights movement starting in the 1950s, and more Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act as a percentage than Democrats did.

But, today you wouldn’t know that because the Democrats, especially the Jews who have historically been the worst exploiters of blacks and anyone in impoverished circumstances, now take all the glory. In fact, as I recall the leadership of the NAACP for decades were predominantly Jews.

“Peterson condemns the government subsidies of single motherhood that have helped set loose a plague of black illegitimacy and its attendant plagues of generational poverty and crime. And he bemoans the black culture of dependency on government support that he said even welfare workers privately call “welfare psychosis.” [Ibid]

Probably meaning welfare entitlement mentality. So is Peterson spouting “canards” about irrelevant “stereotypes” or does he know this problem from the inside out, from within the black community?

Peterson, soft-spoken, who does not preach hate, but forgiveness and reconciliation, works to build up better men, so they can be productive in their own right, better fathers and husbands to families of their own, lives and works in modest circumstances including his mission outreach to young black men and families in Mid-City West Los Angeles neighborhood, the BOND offices located in a shabby storefront.

Jesse Jackson, the biggest mouthed, greatest race-baiting hustler of all, always pushing to the front of any black issue, is filthy rich, and his organizations receive multi-millions of dollars from Democrats and even grants from the government every year.

Which of the two, Peterson or Jackson, fits the stereotype of a “parasite”?

  47. Ted Gorsline April 18, 2020 @ 3:02 pm

The problem with the parasites is they have far more money than you can possibly imagine.

If you have a dog you will know the most important thing in his life is food. With humans it is money.

The jews have all the dog biscuits and they know it and know how it works.

The jews are like a fat, well fed sow pig, and the goy boys are like the piglets fighting with each other to get hold of a life supporting tit or food stamp whatever the case may be.

  48. Rick April 18, 2020 @ 4:11 pm

Great video! It just gets to the heart of the matter.

You have a very special, unique, and detailed inside view of the Jewish psyche.

So, I was wondering if I could ask you a question?

What do you think about the Jewish tendency to “securitize” everything under the sun (i.e., everything from computers, to the avionics in airplanes, to all these cellular signals, and everything having to do with radio signals intelligence or technology)?

There’s a lot going on in Tel Aviv, with everything from robotics, to laser weapons, to cryptology, mathematics, biotechnology, all of these things, and (if I’m not mistaken) for the Jews, as a people, this gives them a leg up on dominating and controlling the non-Jews.

As a Gentile, let’s just say what if I wanted to adopt a “life strategy” of passive defense (for a number of common-sense reasons) so that I would not contemplate ever being the aggressor, but would maintain some kind of defense, to mitigate, repulse, or deflect these domineering encroachments by various overbearing, especially militant Jews — how would that be implemented, in terms of technology?

Because as I see it, whomever has the highest technology, is inevitably going to dominate any other groups (that it feels threatened by). And since the Jews (especially Israelis) love high-tech, we gentiles are really stuck in a rut, unless we adopt the same strategies.

I think that’s why they “securized” all the airports, to keep the pesky Goys and gentiles, and other dreamers out, because, they want us below them, like ants or insects or something.

They want us stupid, compliant, not asking questions, not thinking, not challenging their growing authority, and always psychologically off-balance, hungry, uncertain, and afraid.

Jews don’t want goys having big thoughts, or aspirations. Same thing with medicine, all the new graduate students who want to earn their M.D. diplomas and licensure in medicine are now being fingerprinted, and having ridiculous background checks, and having to jump through a million hoops

This extremely arduous and vexatious process serves The Tribe well, because conservative Christian white males can be weeded out.

They are pushing the non-Jewish men (who are much harder to control than our females, who have smaller brain masses on average, and who are usually more docile and compliant, due to a range of factors, like hormone levels, how their brains are ‘wired’, etc.) out of any respectable and prestigious professions, and out of the technology sectors, because in their characters, Christian males flying airplanes, becoming doctors, and studying high-tech, is implicitly threatening to their thirst for dominion.

On another note, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Jews and Israelis have a list or database of their purported enemies, of individuals who make them feel threatened, and I think there are millions of people on that list.

I think that they cross-check it regularly, and as a ‘service’ to the goy police agencies in the U.S., which have basically become little more than shills and front organizations for hardcore Jewish extremists and Israeli supremacists, they are passing on those names, along with illegally-obtained on-site intelligence (about those individuals).

Of course, despite their incontrovertibly violent and indeed, routinely murderous tendencies, they themselves never appear on those lists.

And I also wonder how many Jews are in jail? Almost none. Is it .001 percent? It’s just about unheard of.

Sure, there’s the big names (the ‘trifeca’): Epstein, Weinstein, and Madoff, but almost no Jew ever goes to jail. They basically operate with impunity, knowing the judge’s palms are already greased. Which judges? All of them. All.

So, wrapping it up, the big problem with securitizing everything, is that it never ends, and it wastes all of our time. Yes, some security is good, especially when it’s decentralized, and based on accurate knowledge, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

I’m talking about plainclothes police on buses and airplanes, and armed men with barking vicious dogs at the train stations, and the endless investigations, which are invariably political or retaliatory in nature (both illegal!).

We simply cannot have the Tel Aviv and New York City-based Jews pulling the strings of federal, state and local police–in additional to all the other fields, sectors, and domains that they have seized control of, over the years, here in the U.S.

It’s untenable. Anybody with a brain, who can fog up a mirror, by breathing, should realize that it’s not working, and it won’t work or be settled ever.

At last, real SARS-CoV-2 population infection data rates are beginning to be published after antibody testing research recruited from the general public, and the outlook is rosy.

Keep in mind that Dr. Ioannidis is not saying that SARS-2 is a flu virus, it is not. He is talking about its infection rates and epidemiology as being like the flu, not comparing virus to virus.

It has different characteristics and infection behaviors that medical researchers are still trying to sort out.

For example, SARS-2 virus has been increasingly observed over the past several weeks by clinical physicians in ICU to cause two forms of ARDS in patients – the ‘classical’ pneumonia created ARDS of SARS-1 in 2002-3, and an atypical ARDS which as best that I can tell, has more hypoxemia characteristics in common with altitude sickness.

In the meantime, it’s time to junk epidemic projection models, they’ve never worked.

Also, a ‘preprint’ is not a peer-reviewed journal article.

See – What is an unrefereed preprint?

…authors use the medRxiv service to make their manuscripts available as “preprints” before certification by peer review, allowing other scientists to see, discuss, and comment on the findings immediately.

Readers should therefore be aware that articles on medRxiv have not been finalized by authors, might contain errors, and report information that has not yet been accepted or endorsed in any way by the scientific or medical community.

BREAKING: Dr. John Ioannidis Releases Study

BREAKING: Dr. John Ioannidis announces the results of his serology study in Santa Clara, California. The study is attached below.

“Our Santa Clara seroprevalence study is now out. It shows 50-85 times underestimated number of infections, therefore 50-85 times overestimated infection rate fatality. True infection rate fatality is in the ballpark of seasonal influenza.”

COVID-19 Antibody Seroprevalence in Santa Clara County, California

Addressing COVID-19 is a pressing health and social concern. To date, many epidemic projections and policies addressing COVID-19 have been designed without seroprevalence data to inform epidemic parameters.

We measured the seroprevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in Santa Clara County.

On 4/3-4/4, 2020, we tested county residents for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 using a lateral flow immunoassay.

Participants were recruited using Facebook ads targeting a representative sample of the county by demographic and geographic characteristics. We report the prevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in a sample of 3,330 people, adjusting for zip code, sex, and race/ethnicity.

We also adjust for test performance characteristics using 3 different estimates: (i) the test manufacturer’s data, (ii) a sample of 37 positive and 30 negative controls tested at Stanford, and (iii) a combination of both.

The unadjusted prevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in Santa Clara County was 1.5% (exact binomial 95CI 1.11-1.97%), and the population-weighted prevalence was 2.81% (95CI 2.24-3.37%).

Under the three scenarios for test performance characteristics, the population prevalence of COVID-19 in Santa Clara ranged from 2.49% (95CI 1.80-3.17%) to 4.16% (2.58-5.70%).

These prevalence estimates represent a range between 48,000 and 81,000 people infected in Santa Clara County by early April, 50-85-fold more than the number of confirmed cases.

The population prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in Santa Clara County implies that the infection is much more widespread than indicated by the number of confirmed cases.

Population prevalence estimates can now be used to calibrate epidemic and mortality projections.

It’s the first time the Holy Sepulchre has been closed since the Black Death ravaged Jerusalem in 1349.

This Easter is different: WATCH Holy Fire descend in Jerusalem amid coronavirus lockdown

As Orthodox Christians celebrate Easter this weekend, the descent of the Holy Fire – a crucial part of the rituals – occurred in Jerusalem without the usual crowds of pilgrims.

The ceremony in Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre was performed by a handful of Orthodox clerics wearing face masks.

The descent of the Holy Fire is a miracle believed by Orthodox Christians to occur every year on Great Saturday. The fire is then taken to Greece, Russia, and other countries where the church has a large presence.

Orthodox Easter celebrations around the world have been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.

“This Easter is different. We will not go to our villages, we will not barbeque in our yards, we will not go to our churches,” said Stelios Petsas, government spokesperson for Greece, one of the largest Orthodox Christian-majority nations.

And of course, we will not gather in the homes of relatives and friends. For us to continue being together, this year we stay apart.

Whether one believes in the Holy Fire miracle or not, its symbolism is indeed very special amid the pandemic – the emergence of the Fire means that the Doomsday has not yet come.

Wow – what a absolute utter failure to ensnare, and rule the U.S.A. in their little germ/panicdemic attempt!

As more time goes by – the fog lifts from the people’s doubt-filled minds to reveal a more reasonable suspicion.

The suspicion of yes, they are certainly this devious and will stop at nothing to get their evil way. Folks, just look at the Kavanaugh case.

How they tried with desperation and deceit to discredit and shame this man before his own family all because of their evil fears for lack of control. Just imagine when RBG is revealed to have died, that is if she isn’t already being weekended at Bernie’s.

For 4+ years all they have done is lied & cried – shamed & blamed. Piglosi and Chucky Jewmer as their pep squad – Goooooooo Team – fart! What total utter losers.

The more they try, the more they die in their attempts. But buzz words create fear amongst thin skinned worms.

Words mentioned here, there, like the word mentioned above jewish “PSYCHE” for instance. Just that word shows a glint of introspection & intelligence and makes paranoid thin skinned worms squirm.

Next they post a “Einstein was correct” story on their MSM to make them feel better. They feel the dire need to be in control of all that is informative/educational for knowledge is power and jew’s don’t like to share, hardly with themselves let alone any goys.

The question is: Are the Jews moving their powerbase to China?

The complicity of Jew-controlled mass media and globalist institutions like the WHO with China is for all to see.

In the past, the International Jew snake moved their power base whenever they needed.

From Spain (until their expulsion in 1492) to England and then to the Soviet Union and USA. Are they now dumping the US and preparing their next move, with China as the battering ram of their last phase?

    Today we remember.

The Qana massacre. One of the most horrific slaughters that were committed by Israel in Lebanon.

The Qana bloodbath is one of the 64 massacres Israel committed in Lebanon since 1948.

116 innocent children and women were butchered in a UN refugee compound!

The attack occurred on 18 April 1996 during an Israeli military aggression called “Grapes of Wrath” in South Lebanon.

The scene from the massacre was too devastating that even journalists were crying like children.

4 UN peacekeepers were also killed in the attack.

Israel’s savagery and brutality against Qana didn’t end here.

During the 2006 Israeli aggression on Lebanon, the Zionist occupation bombed a three-story building in Qana.

Committing yet another Qana massacre killing 28 civilians of whom 16 were children in their sleep!

I never felt more honored that my Masters degree dissertation was aimed to remind the world that Israel’s 1996 “Grapes of Wrath” aggression on Lebanon was a war crime.

It was an honor to dedicate my work to the victims of the Qana massacre.

    Forever in our hearts.

I spent much of 23 years in Africa. The hardest working people I have ever seen are African women who hoe the 3 acres of slash and burn land, they need, to grow enough food to support their families.

They do hard manual labour at mid-day when the temperature is 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

Alot of poor whites and blacks in America don’t have the three acres of land to work to get enough food to eat ever since the bankers moved industry from places like Detroit to China. They are trapped.

  58. KathJuliane April 19, 2020 @ 5:14 am

    This is great news.

There’s a difference of definition between ‘case fatality rate’ and ‘infection fatality rate’.

In epidemiology, a case fatality rate (CFR) — sometimes called case fatality risk — is the proportion of deaths from a certain disease compared to the total number of people diagnosed with the disease for a certain period of time.

The Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) estimates the fatality rate in all those with infection: the detected disease (cases) and those with an undetected disease (asymptomatic and not tested group).

New Data Suggest the Coronavirus Isn’t as Deadly as We Thought

A study finds 50 to 85 times as many infections as known cases—meaning a far lower fatality rate.

    By Andrew Bogan
    April 17, 2020

    Los Altos Hills, Calif.

The Covid-19 shutdowns have been based on the premise that the disease would kill more than two million Americans absent drastic actions to slow its spread.

That model assumed case fatality rates—the share of infected people who die from the disease—of 1% to 3%. The World Health Organization’s estimated case-fatality rate was 3.4%.

Some experts—including in these pages—have questioned this assumption. They argue that known cases are likely only a small portion of the true number of infections, and thus high case-fatality rates could be off by orders of magnitude.

We don’t know what portion of infections have gone undetected for a lack of tests, restrictive qualifications to get tested, and a potentially large incidence of mild illness or asymptomatic infection.

New data support the skeptics’ view—a preliminary study by a Stanford team, released Friday.

They conducted a seroprevalence study of Santa Clara County, Calif., on April 3 and 4.

They studied a representative sample of 3,300 residents to test for the presence of antibodies in their blood that would show if they had previously been infected with the novel coronavirus.

The county, where I live, is home to about two million people in the heart of Silicon Valley, including San Jose, the state’s third-largest city. It has the largest known number of cases in Northern California and saw some of the earliest cases of community spread in the U.S.

The researchers found that the percentage of infections was indeed vastly larger than the roughly 1,000 known positive cases in the county at the time of the study.

The preliminary results—the research will now undergo peer review—show that between 2.5% and 4.2% of county residents are estimated to have antibodies against the virus.

That translates into 48,000 to 81,000 infections, 50 to 85 times as high as the number of known cases.

That may sound scary, but it’s great news.

It suggests that the large majority of people who contract Covid-19 recover without ever knowing they were infected, and that the U.S. infection fatality rate may be more than an order of magnitude lower than authorities had assumed.

Based on this seroprevalence data, the authors estimate that in Santa Clara County the true infection fatality rate (IFR) is somewhere in the range of 0.12% to 0.2%—far closer to seasonal influenza than to the original, case-based estimates.

Outside California as well, preliminary data are emerging to support a more hopeful picture. In New York City, a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine examined 215 women entering two hospitals to give birth between March 22 and April 4.

These patients had a Covid-19 infection rate over 15%. Of expectant mothers who tested positive for active infections, 88% were asymptomatic at the time of admission.

That infection rate is about 10 times the rate of known cases in the city as a whole as of April 17—and New Yorkers have been tested for Covid-19 far more extensively than residents of other states.

This study looked only at active infections, not past infections as in Santa Clara County. So in that population of pregnant women, 15% infected is a lower bound.

Many others may have had a past infection only detectable on serologic tests for antibodies against the virus.

Similar proportions of infections to cases are now being discovered around the world: 30 times in Robbio, Italy; 10 times in Iceland; 14 times in Gangelt, Germany; 27 times in Denmark.

Germany and Denmark are now leading Europe in reopening their economies in the coming week. Sweden, concerned all along with the accuracy of early assumptions, never closed down its economy.

This is not to deny that Covid-19 is more serious than influenza. Its symptoms are sometimes crueler, and it is fiercely infectious—it escaped the draconian lockdown of Wuhan and spread globally in a few months.

In some places, like Northern Italy and New York, it has stretched hospital capacity and endangered or killed frontline health-care workers. Tens of thousands are dead world-wide, and there’s no vaccine.

So a path forward demands continued monitoring of seroprevalence as well as new case testing, identifying and protecting those most vulnerable to more serious or even fatal infections, and supporting hospital capacity to handle surges of respiratory intensive-care patients.

Yet if policy makers were aware from the outset that the Covid-19 death toll would be closer to that of seasonal flu than the millions of American deaths predicted by early models dependent on inputs that now look inaccurate, would they have risked tens of millions of jobs and livelihoods?

The science to support better modeling and decision making is rapidly becoming available. One hopes that it will inform better policy decisions.

Mr. Bogan, a molecular biologist, is managing member of Bogan Associates LLC.

Drug cartels and human traffickers are locked down and hindered. Notice the naval ships in major ports.

Notice chemicals and drug ingredients manufactured in Wuhan are not being made or imported. The pressure is also exposing the worst of the worst in entertainment and politics.

Someone is suspecting that coronavirus was smuggled out of Ft. Detrick lab. he may be right.

Many different countries are probably suffering the global bioterrorism, which is induced by the elites’ agents or/and mercenaries, not the rapidly-spreading virus, Coronavirus.

Coronavirus may be used to cover up the different viruses, toxins, bacteria, and other lethal agents in more than 9,000 missing vials, which probably left Ft. Detrick during late 2000s.

Did elites send the agents or/and mercenaries to different cities in many countries to commit bioterrorism by releasing lethal agents from “some” of Ft. Detrick’s vials? Then, will they keep releasing more in near future, until people become submissive enough?

Then, we must search and catch those criminals in many different countries. FBI and CIA may know, because they are both criminal organizations.

I believe that stopping and abolishing FBI and CIA would mostly stop the coronavirus propaganda and stealthy bioterrorism, which can push the for-profit vaccination program closer to reality.

Americans have two choice: (2) Fight to win right to take a safe medicine, known as Hydroxychloroquine (2) Become submissive to take an unknown vaccination, which is approved by the criminal elites.

I typed and entered “Ft Detrick vials” on a search engine. I got a few matched results. I was shocked to discover that more than 9,000 vials of “material” (virus?) were uninventoried at Ft. Detrick during 2000s.

In 2009, after four months of searching 335 freezers and refrigerators at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (Ft Detrick), the investigators found that more than 9,000 samples failed to be included in a database of 66,000 items.

In 2006, construction of a massive biodefense lab was begun at Ft Detrick. Barry Kissin, a Frederick lawyer, strongly opposed this new lab and feared that it could be used to create biological weapons (Washington Post article on October 23, 2008).

A review of The Dream and the Nightmare: The Sixties’ Legacy to the Underclass. By Myron Magnet.

    Dec 10, 1994

    Encounter Books, 1993.

Myron Magnet’s book is an excellent example of why 1960s leftists should be having second thoughts.

In a nutshell, he argues that the mindset and the values of the sixties are largely responsible for America’s urban underclass.

The sixties counterculture and the sexual revolution both put in place a set of values and beliefs that for many turned poverty into a way of life.

The liberations promoted by the counter-culturalists – sexual, personal, political, economic – did not liberate. Instead, they enslaved people.

Says Magnet, the no-fault way in which the counter-culturalist conducted his personal life was “mirrored by his no-fault social policy, all rights and entitlements without responsibilities”.

These counterculture values had a very real bearing on the issue of poverty.

The traditional values that either prevented poverty or helped one escape from poverty – thrift, hard work, responsibility, deferral of gratification, sobriety – were eschewed.

In their place were enshrined the values of hedonism, sensualism and selfishness. These values can only entrap, not liberate. As Irving Kristol put it, “It’s hard to rise above poverty if society keeps deriding the human qualities that allow you to escape from it.”

Take the sexual revolution for example. The reshaped values of the sexual revolution were directly responsible for the breakdown of families, for easy divorce, for illegitimacy, for sole-parent households.

Not that these problems didn’t exist before the onset of the sexual revolution, but they were certainly exacerbated and compounded by it.

The new culture, as Magnet explains, “permitted, even celebrated, behavior that, when poor people practice it, will imprison them inextricably in poverty.

It’s hard to persuade ghetto fifteen-year-olds not to get pregnant, for instance, when the entire culture, from rock music to upscale perfume commercials to highbrow books, is intoxicated with the joy of what before AIDS was called ‘recreational’ sex.”

Moreover, the new culture “held the poor back from advancement by robbing them of responsibility for their fate and thus further squelching their initiative and energy.

Instead of telling them to take wholehearted advantage of opportunities that were rapidly opening, the new culture told the Have-Nots that they were victims of an unjust society and, if they were black, that they were entitled to restitution, including advancement on the basis of racial preference rather than mere personal striving and merit.”

Viewing poverty primarily in terms of a poverty of values is not a new thesis: Other social commentators, like George Gilder and Thomas Sowell, have argued this thesis.

Moreover, earlier commentators like Max Weber have pointed out the connection between values and socio-economic development.

Historical examples can be cited. For example, many historians now agree that the spread of Methodism in England in the 18th Century helped spare England the bloody revolutions taking place around it.

John Wesley’s preaching imbued the English people with a conservative orderliness that helped to avert revolutionary violence and upheaval.

Magnet’s book confirms the thesis that the major operatives in a society are not just economic ones. Moral, religious and cultural values even more strongly determine how a society will fare – politically and economically.

The question of crime also must be seen in terms of values. The use of force and threat – police, courts, prisons – is one way to restrain aggression and crime.

However, “The most powerful curb isn’t force at all: it is the internal inhibition that society builds into each person’s character, the inner voice”.

Instead of worrying about lenient sentencing or cumbersome legal procedures – as important as they are – of more value is ensuring that “inner barriers to violence and aggression are strongly in place.

This is a cultural matter, a matter of how people bring up their children, a matter of the messages that get passed from the community to the parents and thence to the children.

The object is both to transmit the necessary prohibitions against aggression to each individual and to win each individual’s inner, positive assent to the social endeavor.”

And that of course is what is not happening in black urban America. Sixty-eight per cent of all black children are born without a father at home.

Thus it is much harder for positive values to be transmitted. But the tragedy of broken black families is perpetuated by counterculture values: love’em and leave’em is the natural expression of the sexual revolution, and the economic reinforcement of illegitimacy is the logical outcome of welfarism.

As Charles Murray noted, a welfare mother’s child “provides her with the economic insurance that a husband used to represent.”

Thus counterculture values reinforce and perpetuate the crime, poverty and despair of the ghetto.

The poverty of values that emanated from the 1960s counterculture have left their mark. And welfarism simply ingrained the problems.

Best of intentions, we have learned, unfortunately are not enough. Reformist zeal needs to be backed up by hard thinking and common sense. Simply throwing money at a problem will usually not suffice. The less politically tangible route of changing values and belief systems is generally more effective.

The counterculture mindset has had a firm grip on American life for the past three decades.

Fortunately, a little bit of common sense is beginning to dawn. Some Democrats, like Daniel Patrick Moynihan, now claim that America’s biggest problem is welfarism and the values that underpin it.

Even Bill Clinton wants to overhaul the Welfare State. So change might be on the way.

One has to ask, though, whether it’s too little, too late. If change does take place, and if the poverty of values crisis is stemmed, at least in part, this book will have played a role in that process.

    @Ted Gorsline

You are so right. If everyone had their own 3 acre plots to grow their own food, I doubt that any food stamps would be required.

I believe that most people would be more than willing to work, if they had a purpose and something to work for.

The state of the world today leaves most people disillusioned and hopeless. It doesn’t give anyone the incentive to even try. It would be an exercise in futility, since the powers that be want to rob us all of our hard earned labour.

Our only hope is the return of Christ…in the latter days……(Micah 4:3-4)

    1. Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the Lord’s house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
    And shall be exalted above the hills;
And peoples shall flow to it.

    2. Many nations shall come and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
    To the house of the God of Jacob [spiritual Israel];
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.”
For out of Zion the law shall go forth,
And the word of the Lord from [New] Jerusalem.

    3. He shall judge between many peoples,
    And rebuke strong nations afar off;
They shall beat their swords into plowshares,
    And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
Neither shall they learn war anymore.

    4. But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree,
    And no one shall make them afraid;
For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.

Christ is Risen, and you are overthrown!

Christ is Risen, and the demons are fallen!

Christ is Risen, and the angels rejoice!

Christ is Risen, and life reigns!

Christ is Risen, and not one dead remains in a tomb!

+St. John Chrysostom in his Paschal homily, addressing Death (4th Century)

“Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death. And on those in the tombs bestowing Life.”

It is probably the most known and beautiful Orthodox Christian hymn. It is sung at the Feast of Feasts – the Holy Pascha (Easter) that’s the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Let God Arise

Sung by St. Mary’s choir led by Dn. Gregory Ealy.

St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral in Minneapolis.
    4/15-16/2017 Pascha Nocturnes.

Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered. Let those who hate Him flee from before His face.

Choir: Today, a sacred Pascha is revealed to us,
    A new and holy Pascha,
    A mystical Pascha,
    A Pascha worthy of veneration,
A Pascha which is Christ the Redeemer,
    A blameless Pascha,
    A great Pascha,
    A Pascha of the faithful,
A Pascha which has opened for us the gates of Paradise,
A Pascha which sanctifies all the faithful.

As smoke vanishes so let them vanish. As wax melts before the fire.

Come from that scene, 0 women, bearers of glad tidings,
    And say to Zion:
Receive from us the glad tidings of joy, of Christ’s resurrection.
    Exult and be glad,
    And rejoice, 0 Jerusalem,
    Seeing Christ the King,
Who comes forth from the tomb like a bridegroom in procession.

So the sinners will perish before the face of God. But let the righteous be glad.

    The myrrhbearing women,
    At the break of dawn,
Drew near to the tomb of the Life-giver.
There they found an angel sitting upon the stone.
He greeted them with these words:
Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Why do you mourn the incorrupt amid corruption?
Go, proclaim the glad tidings to His disciples.

This is the day which the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

    Pascha of beauty,
    The Pascha of the Lord,
A Pascha worthy of all honor has dawned for us,
Let us embrace each other joyously.
    O Pascha, ransom from affliction!
For today as from a bridal chamber
Christ has shown forth from the tomb and filled the women with joy saying:

Proclaim the glad tidings to the apostles.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Choir: This is the day of resurrection. Let us be illumined by the feast. Let us embrace each other.
Let us call “brothers” even those that hate us, and forgive all by the resurrection, and so let us cry:

Christ is risen from the dead,
    Trampling down death by death,
And upon those in the tombs bestowing life!

    Christ is Risen!

I don’t know for sure about the virus but the he PCR test is bogus as David Icke pointed out here and as the inventor said it should not be used as a test for viruses. 2 hrs.

And Miles Mathis guest writer here, with links – very much worth reading

Real or fake, the Parasites, I’d rather call them hypocritical inhumane hunters and deceivers, parasites can be a burden but not actively engaged in screwing everyone for all they are worth like the organised jewish power we are under are getting their grab bags of Noahide Order in short and easy measure.

They no doubt have many more tricks up their sleeves if this one doesn’t get us all into a THX1138 style dystopian world of pain and Fahrenheit 451 hellstorm heat.

Nobody has died from this in Israel, must be that wall they have, maybe they have not banned hydroxychloroquinone.

  71. KathJuliane April 19, 2020 @ 9:50 pm

According to the Times of Israel, as of today, 172 Israelis have died of COVID-19, and that there are 13,491 diagnosed cases.

It doesn’t distinguish between Jewish Israeli and Arab Israeli citizens, however.

Of course, the Times of Israel can also be accused of passing on disinfo by making up figures in order to cover up the fabulous miracle where no Jew has caught the virus, nor died from it.

On the same hand, no Jew could keep their mouth shut for long about such a miracle of Jews escaping another $hoah.

On the other, if no Jews have succumbed to COVID-19, then they couldn’t get in line for a new shakedown, I mean any reparations, coming down the pike, so Times of Israel is most likely reporting true facts.

As for David Icke, he is off the mark. First of all, the virus is named SARS-CoV-2, and the infectious disease it causes is COVID-19.

Secondly, as far as his claim that “the inventor said it [PCR] should not be used as a test for viruses,” one of the co-inventors from nearly 40 years ago, Dr. Henry Erlich, a senior scientist at Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute, said to WGN9 in Chicago in an interview, “It’s very gratifying to read that these tests which are so crucial in tracking and trying to mitigate this pandemic use a technology my colleagues and I developed over 30 years ago, it’s very gratifying.”

And Icke (remind me which infectious disease institute he works at again?) has it all wrong when it came to lab analysis of “genetic material”, leaving the impression that the Chinese just picked out dabs of genetic material from an infection soup, and called it a virus.

It is true that initially the clusters of patients that were admitted into several Wuhan hospital in very serious condition within a very short time of each other, all exhibiting the same form of unknown pneumonia, meaning the infectious agent couldn’t be identified from existing known viruses, had their lungs lavaged for samples to be sent to labs.

The lavage samples indeed had a mix of “genetic material” inclusive of debris from damaged lung cells, blood, serum proteins and inflammatory proteins, pus, any secondary bacterial infection, as well as the virus itself.

There are standard lab procedures for separating viruses from any other material, and separating different species of viruses from each other, and then cultivating the target viruses in tissue culture medium in order to identify them.

Once the virus was isolated, various Chinese labs began the process of mapping the genome through international viral genome databases.

As the work progressed, the Chinese infectious disease researchers published their sequencing progress reports on international public health and infectious disease portals for the world’s virologists and epidemiologists to review, until China was finally able to publish a complete genome map, sometime around January 3rd, as I recall.

The head of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC), Dr Gao Fu, phoned his US counterpart, Dr Robert Redfield, with whom was always in contact with, to notify him of the dangers of the virus on January 3, shortly after the first case of Covid-19 emerged in Wuhan at the end of December.

To fill in the details a little more, the virus genome was finally sequenced, after a first erroneous lab identification as SARS-1 on December 27, then positively identified as a novel virus in China on or about December 31.

In the above linked Reuters report, now well buried down the memory hole, is the fact that the Trump administration axed back in July a key American public health position in Beijing embedded with the CCDC and partnership network intended to help detect disease outbreaks in China, who could have certainly tightened the information loop between US-CDC and CCDC.

[Quote]“It was heartbreaking to watch,” said Bao-Ping Zhu, a Chinese American who served in that role, which was funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, between 2007 and 2011. “If someone had been there, public health officials and governments across the world could have moved much faster.”

Zhu and the other sources said the American expert, Dr. Linda Quick, was a trainer of Chinese field epidemiologists who were deployed to the epicenter of outbreaks to help track, investigate and contain diseases.

As an American CDC employee, they said, Quick was in an ideal position to be the eyes and ears on the ground for the United States and other countries on the coronavirus outbreak, and might have alerted them to the growing threat weeks earlier.

No other foreign disease experts were embedded to lead the program after Quick left in July, according to the sources. Zhu said an embedded expert can often get word of outbreaks early, after forming close relationships with Chinese counterparts.[End quote]

Even so, our CDC had been following the reports on the cases of “unknown viral pneumonia” cases as soon as they started coming in.

Furthermore, and this is really strange, even before the CCDC itself knew of the then unknown pneumonia which finally broke out in Wuhan, US military intelligence was tracking “a contagion” in the Wuhan region according to ABC:

[Quote]…as far back as late November, U.S. intelligence officials were warning that a contagion was sweeping through China’s Wuhan region, changing the patterns of life and business and posing a threat to the population, according to four sources briefed on the secret reporting.

Concerns about what is now known to be the novel coronavirus pandemic were detailed in a November intelligence report by the military’s National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI), according to two officials familiar with the document’s contents.

The report was the result of analysis of wire and computer intercepts, coupled with satellite images. It raised alarms because an out-of-control disease would pose a serious threat to U.S. forces in Asia — forces that depend on the NCMI’s work.

And it paints a picture of an American government that could have ramped up mitigation and containment efforts far earlier to prepare for a crisis poised to come home.

“Analysts concluded it could be a cataclysmic event,” one of the sources said of the NCMI’s report. “It was then briefed multiple times to” the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s Joint Staff and the White House. Wednesday night, the Pentagon issued a statement denying the “product/assessment” existed.

From that warning in November, the sources described repeated briefings through December for policy-makers and decision-makers across the federal government as well as the National Security Council at the White House.

All of that culminated with a detailed explanation of the problem that appeared in the President’s Daily Brief of intelligence matters in early January, the sources said.

For something to have appeared in the PDB, it would have had to go through weeks of vetting and analysis, according to people who have worked on presidential briefings in both Republican and Democratic administrations.

“The timeline of the intel side of this may be further back than we’re discussing,” the source said of preliminary reports from Wuhan. “But this was definitely being briefed beginning at the end of November as something the military needed to take a posture on.” [End quote]

Defense Secretary Esper didn’t know anything about it, and the NCMI, a component of the Defense Intelligence Agency, denied that any such report existed. But the Jerusalem Post published the story as well.

But Reuter’s, in their above article, stated that “The first cases of the new coronavirus may have emerged as early as November.”

As for that legendary wild rascally, web character, Miles Mathis, what can I say about a person who completely overturned all science and mathematics as we know it, by declaring that Pi=4, and not 2+2.

A legend in his own mind, that is. He’s pretty good with his own counter-counterculture misdirection bs himself.

From chuckbaldwinlive regarding the corona virus scare:

Now We Know How Germany Let It Happen

“For as long as I can remember, when freedom-loving Americans would gather in small groups to discuss world affairs, the question would come up, “How did the German people come to allow themselves to embrace totalitarianism the way they did?” Then, after a time of discussion about it, the group would always conclude by saying, “Thank God, this could never happen in America.”

As a small boy, I heard those discussions from my parents and their friends, who were part of “The Greatest Generation.” I heard it from my friends in college. And I heard it all of my adult life in churches, coffee shops and conference rooms all over America: “How could Germany let it happen?” And, “Thank God, it could never happen in America.”

Well, it IS happening in America—and all over the world at the same time. Due to their complete collapse into a state of fear and panic, most Americans seem oblivious to the fact that we are right now—RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE—living in what could easily be the last days of freedom.

It happened in less than 30 days—and it is happening due to mass hyperbole and media manipulation. No, I’m not saying that the coronavirus is not real. Neither am I saying that people have not died from the virus. But I am saying that the fearmongering over the claim that corona has the potential to be a global pandemic akin to the Black Death is pure, unadulterated poppycock.

Here is a list of twelve of the most respected and imminent medical scholars in the world telling us that all of this fearmongering over COVID-19 is much ado about nothing.”

    From OffGuardian:

Dr Sucharit Bhakdi is a specialist in microbiology.

Dr Wolfgang Wodarg is a German physician specialising in Pulmonology.

Dr Joel Kettner is professor of Community Health Sciences and Surgery at Manitoba University.

Dr John Ioannidis Professor of Medicine, of Health Research and Policy and of Biomedical Data Science, at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr Yoram Lass is an Israeli physician, politician and former Director General of the Health Ministry.

Dr Pietro Vernazza is a Swiss physician specialising Infectious Diseases at the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen.

Frank Ulrich Montgomery is German radiologist, former President of the German Medical Association and Deputy Chairman of the World Medical Association.

Prof. Hendrik Streeck is a German HIV researcher, epidemiologist and clinical trialist. He is professor of virology, and the director of the Institute of Virology and HIV Research, at Bonn University.

Dr Yanis Roussel et. al. – A team of researchers from the Institut Hospitalo-universitaire Méditerranée Infection, Marseille and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Marseille.

Dr. David Katz is an American physician and founding director of the Yale University Prevention Research Center.

Michael T. Osterholm is regents professor and director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.

Dr Peter Goetzsche is Professor of Clinical Research Design and Analysis at the University of Copenhagen.

    Chuck Baldwin continues:

“The virus models spawning much of this fear and paranoia that are producing all kinds of Martial Law around the world are themselves fraught with inaccuracies.

And in this analytical report, John Rappoport uses quotes from official sources about their own diagnostic tests to prove that the entire coronavirus scare is an “illusion” produced by “fake science.”

    Rappoport shows:

*A positive test doesn’t guarantee that the COVID virus is causing infection at all.

*Some PCR tests register positive for types of coronavirus that have nothing to do with COVID—including plain old coronas that cause nothing more than a cold.

*The idea of “asymptomatic patients” confirmed by the test is nonsense. And even though a positive test for COVID may not indicate the actual cause of disease, all positive tests must be reported—and they will be counted as “COVID cases.” Regardless.

*All positive tests must be reported to government agencies, and they are counted as COVID cases.

Let this sink in: The corona cold virus has been with us for almost forever.

If we ever had the corona cold virus in our past, a PCR test could show us as being corona “positive.”

And if a person dies from almost any cause—short of a car wreck or bullet wound—a postmortem test that reflects a positive reading for corona would require (by the demands of government) that the deceased be listed as having died FROM corona. But in many cases (if not most cases), the deceased died WITH corona but not FROM corona.

In other words, these tests and statistics surrounding the coronavirus are wildly speculative and exaggerated. But they succeed in keeping the public in a state of fear and panic.

By the way, did you know that more people in Tennessee committed suicide than died from corona last week?”

    From Chuck Baldwin Live:

An Appeal To My Preterist, Postmillennialist, Amillennialist, Reformed & Premillennial Historicist Brethren

“My remarks below are archived on video, and I urge readers to watch the video (only 6 minutes long) and share it far and wide.

This appeal is heavy on my heart. For the benefit of those readers who do not use computers (yes, those people still exist), here is the transcript of my video address:

“We are at a decisive moment in Church history. We stand on the shoulders of the great Protestant Reformers, our Pilgrim forebears, the fearless Black Robed preachers of Colonial America and two Great Awakenings.

Most of us arrived at our current prophetical understandings via circuitous routes. And let’s acknowledge that the nuances of our varied understandings of Biblical prophecy will never be totally reconciled this side of eternity, at which time we will surely discover that none of us was 100% accurate about every jot and tittle of the matter.

But I want to talk about what unites us, not what divides us.

Whatever our disagreements, we all share the illumination from the blessed Holy Spirit to the hellish doctrines of so-called Christian Zionism, otherwise known as Prophetic Dispensationalism.

We rightly understand that the faux State of Israel created in 1948 has blinded and beguiled the vast majority of evangelicals and has taken control of our political, educational, media, entertainment and military establishments to the point that our country stands on the precipice of national disaster.

We also understand that the fascination and intoxication with faux Israel would not be taking place if not for the mass acceptance by pastors, teachers, college professors and televangelists of the false doctrines of Darby and Scofield.

We need a Second Reformation and a Third Great Awakening. We need an awakening to the deception and dangers of Christian Zionism—a term we all understand to be the quintessential oxymoron.

Our disagreements regarding the literalness, allegories, timing and placement of the characters and events of the Book of Revelation pale next to our agreement regarding the finished work of Christ on the Cross, the establishment of the New Covenant, the blessed promise of salvation through Christ alone by faith alone and that Christ has both fulfilled and abolished Jewish law and has broken down the wall between Savior and sinner—between Jew and Gentile.

We stand shoulder to shoulder against the attempts of Christian Zionists to split the singular Body of Christ, comprised of Jew and Gentile (“the Israel of God”) under one Head, the Lord Jesus Christ, into a freakish two-headed, two-bodied Jewish and Gentile monster.

We all understand the significance and prophetic fulfillment of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. We all understand that Christ fulfilled the promises given to Abraham and David. We all understand that the only Jerusalem for New Covenant believers is a Heavenly One.

Christian Zionism—or Israel-based Dispensationalism—has taken our country to the precipice of global war and domestic tyranny. It has divided the Church, obfuscated the truth, enslaved the mind and given false hope to millions.

I believe God has already begun calling a remnant out of the false gospel of Christian Zionism. I’m seeing people by the thousands repudiating Israel-based prophecy doctrines. I truly believe this is the beginning of that Third Great Awakening our country so desperately needs.

I call on Preterists, Full and Partial, I call on Postmillennialists, Amillennialists, Reformed and Premillennial Historicists to agreeably disagree on the nuances of prophecy and understand that none of us is the enemy of Christ.

I call on each of us to unite our hearts and our prayers in working together to help the masses of Christians and unchurched alike, whom God is already moving with His Spirit, and in exposing the fallacies of Christian Zionism—complete with its racial divisions, hatred and warmongering—and in tenderness and boldness bring the wanderers home: home to Peace, home to Love, home to God.”

    [End video text. Continue quote:]

“More than anything else, the false doctrines of Christian Zionism are taking America into a deep, dark abyss—an abyss from which, if not stopped, there may be no return (at least not for hundreds of years).

We will never completely agree on all of the nuances of Bible prophecy, but we should be able to recognize the essential truth we share in rejecting the false doctrines of Christian Zionism and unite together on that basis.

Christian Zionism is a scourge; and it will take the unified efforts of all New Covenant believers to help bring the masses of evangelicals out of this devilish deception. If you agree, please share this video far and wide.”

From Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, to all Brethren who stand fast in the Lord:

    Ephesians 4:1-6
    1. I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
    2. with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
    3. endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
    4. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;
    5. one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
    6. one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

    Ephesians 6:10-18
    10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
    11. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
    12. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
    13. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
    14. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
    15. and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
    16. above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
    17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
    18. praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

  75. Oil Crash April 20, 2020 @ 11:08 am

Have you seen the price of oil today? The price of a barrel of oil has dropped $17.37 to $0.67 per barrel.

Hard to believe but just look on one of the business channels, Fox Business,, CNBC, etc. CNBC showed oil as low as $0.19, maybe lower.

This implies no cars, trucks, planes, and trains using fuel like in days prior to the Covid Scamdemic.

Would be nice if this means engines have been invented which don’t need gas and oil, but that doesn’t seem to be the reason.

  77. Covid Oil April 20, 2020 @ 5:19 pm

The May contract for crude oil plunged to below zero for the first time in history today, settling at minus $37.63 a barrel, a decline of some 305%. Prices set a low of negative $40.32 intraday –

The mass media explanation for this bizarre negative price in which the buyer is paid to take the oil, is that storage tanks are all full of oil with no more room to store more oil.

The Jews Media says that the Covid shutdown of the economy, cars, trucks, fuel use, meant much less oil being sold. The supply continued but the demand was greatly reduced.

The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve will never get a more opportune time to fill up its tanks than this. That probably won’t happen though, because banksters usually direct their puppet politicians to buy at high prices instead of low prices to maximize bankster profits.

Perspectives on the Pandemic | Dr. John Ioannidis Update: 4.17.20 | Episode 4

In this long-awaited follow-up to his interview in late March, Dr. John Ioannidis discusses the results of three preliminary studies, (including his latest, which shows a drastically reduced infection fatality rate); the worrisome effects of the lockdown; the Swedish approach; the Italian data; the ups and downs of testing; the feasibility of “contact tracing”, and much more.

Dr. Ioannidis also discusses the strengths and weaknesses of PCR testing, as well as strengths and possible pitfalls of antibody testing.

His latest: “Closedown vs. No Closedown” @

    PCR excerpt:

“Belief that the best policy is to let the virus spread in order to develop “herd immunity” is undercut by reinfection. There is no herd immunity to common colds or flu. I know people whose winter colds are followed by summer colds and people who get flu every year, flu shot or not.”

    +BN Responds:

The fact is, we do develop long lasting immunity against the virus that causes us a cold or flu today, but the virus that causes us a cold or flu a few months later is somewhat different because of mutation, and the adaptive immune system has to start from scratch.

Herd Immunity (Community Immunity) DOES work. Infectious Disease Doctors verify this. +bn

COVID-19 infections in LA up to 55 times higher than reported

(Consistent with Stanford University’s preliminary research in Santa Clara County as explained by Dr John Ioannidis)

    By Health Day News

An early analysis of antibody testing from Los Angeles County finds a coronavirus infection rate that is up to 55 times the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

According to the researchers behind the study, the vast majority of people infected with the new coronavirus may be going without symptoms or have minimal symptoms.

It’s one of the first in-depth analyses of local population infection rates conducted in the United States.

Los Angeles County’s population totals more than 10 million. As the research team noted, by early April, there were 7,994 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in the county, including 600 COVID-19 deaths.

RELATED New York ramps up COVID-19 antibody tests to gauge scope of outbreak, immunity

But new findings from the first round of ongoing antibody blood testing of county residents showed that about 4.1 percent of adults had antibodies to the coronavirus.

Adjusting for any statistical margin of error, that suggests that between 2.8 percent to 5.6 percent of the county’s adults have antibodies to the coronavirus, which translates to between 221,000 to 442,000 adults in Los Angeles County having already had the infection.

That estimate is 28 to 55 times higher than the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the county by the time of the study in early April, said researchers from the University of Southern California and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

“We haven’t known the true extent of COVID-19 infections in our community because we have only tested people with symptoms, and the availability of tests has been limited,” lead investigator Neeraj Sood, professor of public policy and senior fellow at the Center for Health Policy and Economics at USC, explained in a university news release.

Now that the true, and much wider, penetration of coronavirus within the general public is known, “we might have to recalibrate disease prediction models and rethink public health strategies,” Sood said.

Dr. Barbara Ferrer directs the L.A. County Department of Public Health. Speaking in the news release, she said the antibody test results “indicate that many persons may have been unknowingly infected and at risk of transmitting the virus to others.”

The study also highlights the need for expanded polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing, she said, so infected individuals “can be isolated and quarantined, while also maintaining the broad social distancing interventions.”

The antibody test can help detect past coronavirus infection, but a PCR test is required to diagnose current infection, Ferrer explained.

According to study co-leader Dr. Paul Simon, chief science officer at L.A. County Department of Public Health, “Though the results indicate a lower risk of death among those with infection than was previously thought, the number of COVID-related deaths each day continues to mount, highlighting the need for continued vigorous prevention and control efforts.”

The researchers plan to test new groups of people every few weeks over the coming months to assess the pandemic’s spread in the county.

Emergency room doctors facing pay cuts and understaffing during pandemic

The financial fallout of the pandemic is affecting some of the most vital health workers in the country. CBS News spoke with ER doctors in at least half a dozen states who said they’re taking pay cuts of up to 40%.

The American College of Emergency Physicians said cutting benefits and shifts could force some emergency rooms to shut down.

Dr. Leslie Simon, the chair of the emergency medicine department at the Mayo Clinic, sees patients with COVID-19 symptoms daily.

“You go through the stages of grief when you get a pay cut,” Simon said. “And we all did, but I think they understand why it happened. And there’s very much the sentiment among our department that we’re all in this together. And we understand that it was necessary.”

Simon and her team just took a 10% salary reduction — a consequence of the hospital’s anticipated $3 billion revenue loss.

“We still have student loans. We have kids to send to college. We have mortgages,” she said.

The Mayo Clinic is among thousands of hospitals across the country losing money fast.

According to JP Morgan Chase, most hospitals make half or more of their revenue from elective procedures, which have been put on hold.

Add to those losses at least a 30% decline in emergency room visits since the pandemic started due to patients staying at home out of fear of contracting the coronavirus.

“I think it’s possible [some emergency rooms are so inadequately staffed lives may now be at risk,]” Simon told CBS News. “I also think a lot of them are at risk for closing.”

One ER doctor who would not speak on camera told CBS News her hours were cut by about 50% and that she now is the only ER doctor during her shifts — down from four — making her responsible for up to 40 beds.

Dr. Natasha K, who tested 17 patients for COVID-19 just yesterday, agreed to speak if CBS News didn’t use her last name.

“We’re afraid to go into work in the ER,” Natasha said.

And now she said she is also afraid to lose her job. “We feel like our jobs are more valuable now than ever,” Natasha explained.

“It’s a little difficult to really digest what happened. It doesn’t really change our attitude going to work.”

Fauci Backpedals on Vitamin C and D Recommendations

    Dr. Mercola

–Vitamins C and D are finally being adopted in the conventional treatment of novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. This fortunate turn of events is likely to save thousands of lives, while keeping health care costs down

–Seriously ill coronavirus patients in New York state’s largest hospital system receive 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C three to four times a day, in conjunction with other conventional treatments
Vitamin C at extremely high doses acts as an antiviral drug, actually killing viruses

–In recent articles, former CDC chief Dr. Tom Frieden and Dr. John C. Umhau, a public health specialist at NIH, highlight the usefulness of sun exposure and/or vitamin D supplementation to reduce your risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection

–Although vitamin D does not appear to have a direct effect on viruses, it does strengthen immune function, thus allowing the host body to combat the virus more effectively. It also suppresses inflammatory processes

As reported in my April 7, 2020, article “Vitamins C and D Finally Adopted as Coronavirus Treatment,” the largest hospital system in New York, Northwell Health, has been giving COVID-19 patients admitted into intensive care 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C three to four times a day in conjunction with the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine and the antibiotic azithromycin, both of which have shown promise in coronavirus treatment.1

According to Dr. Andrew G. Weber, a pulmonologist and critical-care specialist affiliated with two Northwell Health facilities on Long Island, “The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C. It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.”2

NIAID Director Backpedals on Vitamin C and D Recommendations

Curiously, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the face of the White House coronavirus response team, is now saying life probably will not go back to normal until we have the ability to vaccinate the entire global population against COVID-19.3

I say “curiously,” as just four short years ago, in a Washingtonian article,4 “How to Avoid Getting Sick When You’re Around People All Day,” Fauci touted vitamins C and D as being good for boosting your immune system and fighting infectious disease.

Vitamin C “can enhance your body’s defense against microbes,” he said — a statement backed by recent research showing vitamin C supplementation lowers your risk of the common cold.5 At the time, Fauci said he was taking 1,000 milligrams (mg) of vitamin C, himself, every day. “Many people also do not get enough vitamin D, which affects a lot of body functions, so that would be helpful, too,” he added.

Yet, in a March 26, 2020, interview with RealClear Politics,6 he changed his tune, saying there was “no definite proof” that the vitamins work, even though some studies show they do. What changed? Why did he say vitamins C and D help boost immune function and ward off infectious disease four years ago, only to deny it now?

    Global Vaccine Plan in Action?

Is Fauci simply promoting Bill Gates’ vaccine agenda? It’s not an implausible idea, considering Fauci is on the Leadership Council board responsible for putting together Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Vaccine Action Plan — a collaboration between the Foundation, NIAID, UNICEF and the World Health Organization.7 As explained in a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation press release:8

“The Global Vaccine Action Plan will enable greater coordination across all stakeholder groups — national governments, multilateral organizations, civil society, the private sector and philanthropic organizations — and will identify critical policy, resource, and other gaps that must be addressed to realize the life-saving potential of vaccines.”

It’s quite feasible that one “gap” that would need to be addressed “to realize the life-saving potential of vaccines” would be the elimination of inexpensive patent-free competition such as nutritional supplements.

Considering the fact that many reports from medical professionals treating COVID-19 patients are showing favorable results using old medicines and supplements such as IV vitamin C and zinc, there’s absolutely no reason to announce the end of normalcy unless we vaccinate billions of people.

In fact, zinc is currently looking like one of the most important remedies against COVID-19. Compelling evidence suggests the reason the antimalarial drug chloroquine appears so useful in the treatment of COVID-19 is because it acts as a zinc ionophore (zinc transporter) so it improves zinc uptake into the cell.

Zinc is crucial for healthy immune function9 and a combination of zinc with a zinc ionophore was in 2010 shown to block the replication of SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV-1) in cell culture within minutes.10 Many of the symptoms of COVID-19 are also near-indistinguishable from those of zinc deficiency.11

In the featured Liberty Report video above, Dr. Ron Paul, former GOP congressman, also points out that Fauci’s “doom and gloom predictions” of 2.2 million deaths from COVID-19 in the U.S. alone12 have completely collapsed, “with the new official prediction coming in under the normal flu numbers for 2018.”

Indeed, April 8, 2020, a new model referred to as the Murray Model13 predicts COVID-19 will kill 60,000 in the U.S. by August14 — a far cry from 2.2 million! “Was it ‘social distancing’ that saved us?” Paul asks. “Let’s look at the states and countries that did not lock down — they should have massively higher deaths. Do they?”

Listen to his report to find out (hint: No. For example, South Carolina, which did not shut down its economy, had only 63 deaths as of April 9, 2020, while Colorado, which did shut down, had 193).

Dr. Faustus, you keep forgetting to mention this little issue.

“…[I]t is unclear what the legal ramifications would be if the virus was indeed leaked from a Chinese lab, but as a result of a research project that was outsourced and funded by the US government.

“Also, if there was a government ban in 2014 on federal funding being used for GOF research, what are the federal compliance and ethical issues surrounding the fact that the NIH still gave federal funding instead of private funding to the Wuhan lab to continue the experiments?”

Why US outsourced bat virus research to Wuhan

US-funded $3.7 million project approved by Trump’s Covid-19 guru Dr Anthony Fauci in 2015 after US ban imposed on ‘monster-germ’ research

    Asia Times

    APRIL 22, 2020

The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded bat-coronavirus research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China to the tune of US$3.7 million, a recent article in the British newspaper Daily Mail revealed.

Back in October 2014, the US government had placed a federal moratorium on gain-of-function (GOF) research – altering natural pathogens to make them more deadly and infectious – as a result of rising fears about a possible pandemic caused by an accidental or deliberate release of these genetically engineered monster germs.

This was in part due to lab accidents at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in July 2014 that raised questions about biosafety at US high-containment labs.

At that time, the CDC had closed two labs and halted some biological shipments in the wake of several incidents in which highly pathogenic microbes were mishandled by US government laboratories: an accidental shipment of live anthrax, the discovery of forgotten live smallpox samples and a newly revealed incident in which a dangerous influenza strain was accidentally shipped from the CDC to another lab.

A CDC internal report described how scientists failed to follow proper procedures to ensure samples were inactivated before they left the lab, and also found “multiple other problems” with operating procedures in the anthrax lab.

As such in October 2014, because of public health concerns, the US government banned all federal funding on efforts to weaponize three viruses – influenza, Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

In the face of a moratorium in the US, Dr Anthony Fauci – the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and currently the leading doctor in the US Coronavirus Task Force – outsourced in 2015 the GOF research to China’s Wuhan lab and licensed the lab to continue receiving US government funding.

The Wuhan lab is now at the center of scrutiny for possibly releasing the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and causing the global Covid-19 pandemic.

It is understandable that the Chinese lab likely struggled with safety issues given the fact US labs share similar problems, and indeed in January 2018 the US Embassy in Beijing sent cables warning about the safety of the Wuhan lab and asked for help.

Additionally, the embassy warned that researchers “showed that various SARS-like coronaviruses can interact with ACE2, the human receptor identified for SARS-coronavirus,” meaning bat coronaviruses can be transmitted to humans to cause SARS-like diseases.

Now, the US is up in arms to hold China accountable for the global coronavirus pandemic, filing class-action lawsuits domestically, as well as building a coalition with allies internationally.

Lawsuits have been filed within the US and the International Criminal Court alleging that China used the virus as a bioweapon, and other suits are under way at the International Court of Justice.

Republican lawmakers such as Senator Tom Cotton and Representative Dan Crenshaw have also introduced legislation that would allow Americans to sue China in federal court over the deaths and economic damage wrought by the virus.

US spy agencies are also investigating whether the virus originated in the Wuhan lab, and seeking evidence that is needed to support the bio-WMD theory promoted by Republican lawmakers.

If evidence is found that Covid-19 is a biological weapon, some pundits such as Fox News host Lou Dobbs have called for the US to declare war on China.

Nonetheless, it is unclear what the legal ramifications would be if the virus was indeed leaked from a Chinese lab, but as a result of a research project that was outsourced and funded by the US government.

Also, if there was a government ban in 2014 on federal funding being used for GOF research, what are the federal compliance and ethical issues surrounding the fact that the NIH still gave federal funding instead of private funding to the Wuhan lab to continue the experiments?

Moreover, could some strains of the coronavirus have originated in US labs, given the fact the US government lifted the ban in December 2017 on GOF research without resolving lab-safety issues?

For now, President Donald Trump’s administration is investigating the $3.7 million in taxpayer money that went to the Wuhan lab, while Republican Representative Matt Gaetz called for an immediate end to NIH funding of Chinese research.

Since the federal ban on GOF research has been lifted, US labs can continue creating these monster germs domestically and would no longer need to outsource to China.

Nonetheless, there still needs to be better oversight on the dangerous experiments and regulations over biosecurity of labs.

Currently, the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) – a US government interagency panel that advises the NIH’s parent, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) – conducts risk assessment of GOF experiments that pose a significant threat to public health.

The NSABB has given the HHS a framework to assess proposed research that would create pathogens with pandemic potential, such as research on genetically altering a virus to infect more species, or recreating a pathogen that has been eradicated in the wild, such as smallpox.

However, vaccine development and epidemiological surveillance do not automatically trigger an HHS review. In the postmortem of the Covid-19 pandemic, this is likely a dangerous loophole that could be exploited with no oversight, and should probably be brought under HHS review in order to protect public health better in the future.
