    Let’s face it.

    SCOTUS is a political machine of the Left.

    And the Left’s got their best on the bench: 4 Jews and a modernist Catholic.

    No matter how they slice it with legal sleeze, Ginsburg, Kagan, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kennedy—in making same-sex marriage a constitutional right—have created a new law out of thin air.

    Legislating from the bench is an impeachable offense. Yet Ginsburg flaunts it like an old floozy.

But in recent years, people have, have said, “This is the way I am.” And others looked around, and we discovered it’s our next door neighbor. We are very fond of them. More and more people came out and said, “This is who I am,” and the rest of us recognized that they are one of us.”]

    It’s the Sanhedrin at work. Ginsburg and gang deciding what’s best for the rest.

    But no matter how many say, “This is who I am,” sodomy violates God’s law of marriage.

    Marriage ‘equality’ doesn’t get it either.

    Marriage is ultimately about having children and same-sexers aren’t ‘equal’ to that task.

    They require a sperm bank or a friendly fag. What kind of marriage equality is that?

    But Ginsburg and gang voted against God and created a NEW LAW out of thin air. For the Constitution says nothing about marriage.

    And since it says nothing, the Court has no jurisdiction to rule on it. Their bogus law is null and void.

    Only the people through their elected representatives can legally rule on what civil law is, NOT the Jewish oligarchy at the Supreme Court.

    Even with twisting same-sex marriage out of the 14th Amendment—which only deals with citizenship for former slaves,—Section 5 of the Amendment forbids any entity but Congress to enact legislation on it.

    I now call on Congress to use its Constitutional power to impeach these usurping judges.

    We’ve got a bad system at SCOTUS but we’re not stuck with it.

    Let Obama insult the White House with as many colors as he wants.

    But Ginsburg, Kagan, Breyer, Sotomayor, and senile Kennedy, must be swept off the bench for imposing their will on the rest of us.

    My Day At The Supreme Court

    I woke up today with a sick feeling and felt vital life draining out of me.

    It was confirmed by the news that 4 JEW judges on our nation’s highest bench: Ginsburg, Kagan, Breyer, Sotomayor, voted AGAINST God’s creation ordinance of marriage between a man and a woman for the propagation of the human race.

    After holding high the Holy Cross all day at Pennsylvania Avenue and 9th as well as at Constitution and Pennsylvania, I felt a strong impetus to go to the Supreme Court.

    I arrived at SCOTUS at 3 PM. The rainbow flags were out and the homosexuals (mostly teens, twenty year olds, and, of course, JEWS), were celebrating.

    There was a huge sign, held by Jews, which said, “The Bible discriminates against Gays.”

    I walked up the steps and started slicing the Supreme Court building with the Cross and pronounced an ANATHEMA on it.

    I started preaching from St Paul’s censure of homosexuality in his Epistle to the Church at Rome, Chapter 1.

    “The 4 Jew judges and Kennedy voted against God today,” I proclaimed, “and have brought God’s displeasure on our country.”

    I continued, “Ginsburg, Kagan, Breyer, Sotomayor… the same people who crucified Christ are crucifying America.”

    An ugly Jew in his 60s started opposing me but he could not stop me nor the many who listened to me.

    One homosexual young person yelled out to me, challenging me, “Are you hoping we go to Hell?” “Is America going to Hell?” he mockingly smirked.

    Then all the homosexuals started laughing.

    I got down on my knees and said, “Not if we as a people repent of ALL of our sins.”

    This totally disarmed them, they were silenced, and prople started coming up to me and thanked me.

    All in all, I spent over an hour at the Supreme Court.

    Wow! Judicial activist Ginsburg really was boasting in advance about the unconstitutional actions she and her gaggle of usurping SCOTUS justices were preparing to do, given the right time.

    Speaking of Justice Kennedy, at least one of his law clerks that he’s had since about 2012 is a homosexual, and no doubt fully involved in the asinine LGBTQ circus.

    I tried to read Kennedy’s opinion, subjective and emotional, way off in abstract idealism. He wrote the thing like a philosophical treatise, not as a trained attorney writing a judicial legal opinion.

    According to OSCAR.gov concerning judicial law clerks:

    “The duties and functions of a federal judicial law clerk are determined by the employing judge.

    In most chambers, law clerks concentrate on legal research and writing.

    Typically, the broad range of duties assigned to a law clerk includes conducting legal research, preparing bench memos, drafting orders and opinions, proofreading the judge’s orders and opinions, verifying citations, communicating with counsel regarding case management and procedural requirements, and assisting the judge during courtroom proceedings.

    Some judges also may assign maintaining the chambers library, and other administrative duties to the law clerk.”

    So, who actually wrote the Majority Opinion? Kennedy or his homosexual law clerk? (It’s a rhetorical question, but reading Kennedy’s opinion makes me tend to agree — he’s getting senile).

    I particularly like the special effect morphing the White House into rainbow colors. It just doesn’t get any better than this with Obummer’s talent for trashing the White House.

    Actually, I think it’s time to take back the rainbow symbol, because that is the sign of the covenant that God made with Noah and Creation, not with sexual deviants.

    Thanks for bring up the fact that under our Constitution, We The People have some constitutional remedies that can bring to heel the SCOTUS pack of 9 unelected justices.

    Another remedy in the form of a constitutional amend I’ve read has been brought up by that Zionist toad (I really hate to say this) Ted Cruz.

    The truth is the truth, however, and it cuts right to the core of the survival of our American republic. It’s an idea whose time has come.

    Cruz is proposing an amendment to the Constitution that will require judicial retention elections for the Supreme Court justices.

    “Rendering the justices directly accountable to the people would provide such a remedy.

    Twenty states have now adopted some form of judicial retention elections, and the experience of these states demonstrates that giving the people the regular, periodic power to pass judgment on the judgments of their judges strikes a proper balance between judicial independence and judicial accountability.

    It also restores respect for the rule of law to courts that have systematically imposed their personal moral values in the guise of constitutional rulings.

    The courts in these states have not been politicized by this check on their power, nor have judges been removed indiscriminately or wholesale.

    In order to provide the people themselves with a constitutional remedy to the problem of judicial activism and the means for throwing off judicial tyrants, I am proposing an amendment to the United States Constitution that would subject the justices of the Supreme Court to periodic judicial-retention elections.

    So, We the People, the marginalized majority, have political remedies we can pursue, if Americans across the country have the will to push to get Congress to move either on impeachment, as you’ve brought up, or else legislate a new amendment to the Constitution requiring judicial retention elections for federal judges and SCOTUS.

    It takes a 2/3 majority of Congress to pass an amendment.

    So, there’s hope for us, if Americans pull their head out of the sand. You bring up the truth that we don’t have to live with these judicial tyrants and constitutional usurpers.

    There are several political remedies which can be pursued, impeachment being just one.

    Last but not least, one thing is certain.

    We need to bring back primary education curriculum for the U.S. Constitution, History, and Political Science and get rid of sodomite propaganda in the schools, along with liberal courses on dancing with unicorns.

    Tears started presenting themselves in my eyes when I read of your testimony to Christ and to God, in front of the Supreme Court.

    Such a wonderful moment when one now a Christian, condemns his own former stance in the preaching of the truth that cast light on the awful sin of formerly, his brother Kabbalists.

    Now he is my brother because we are one in Christ Jesus and in Him, ‘There is neither Jew nor Gentile’. We now worship God according to the Spirit.

    The opportunity had been given her with the angel’s words to that family: ‘Make haste, escape there (another place) for I cannot do anything until you arrive’.

    Yes, this is a dark day for America; SCOTUS ruled in a 5-4 decision the constitutionality of “gay marriage” nationwide. With that ruling in favor of “gay marriage,” the Court launched a bloodless coup d’etat against the nation.

    A Constitutional Amendment would settle this abomination, of course; but this would need not only a 2/3 majority in Congress, but also a 3/4 majority in the State Legislatures for ratification.

    Impeachment of the offending Justices is another remedy, only temporary, since the POTUS would have to appoint five new Justices to replace those removed. And, we know quite well that Obama would only appoint five more Trotskyites who would simply put their imprimatur on this horrific case.

    It looks right now that Sen. Ted Cruz’s proposal of a Constitutional Amendment that would put SCOTUS in its place is the only real solution to the problem of judicial overreach.

    I’m sad that I wasn’t able to see you in action in DC – especially on the Supreme Court steps – but, on the other hand, I’m happy that your mission in the Nation’s Capital was a huge success.

    SCOTUS’ “making law from thin air” has definitely gone way over the top with regard to its ruling in favor of “gay marriage”; thus, putting the Constitution on its head.

    Now, Sen. Ted Cruz has come up with a proposal that may remedy this situation; except that this would require a 2/3 majority in Congress, plus a 3/4 majority in state legislatures to add this Amendment to the Constitution (a feat that has little prospect of succeeding).

    Of course, +BN, there’s also impeachment of the five Justices who ruled in favor of this abomination; but that would only leave five vacancies that would have to be filled (Obama is still POTUS).

    I myself prefer both scenarios; Ted Cruz’s AND impeachment, to send a clear message to SCOTUS that it cannot get away with this coup in violation of the Constitution; and, most of all, of the Laws of GOD and Nature.

    SCOTUS is NOT the Legislative Branch, it is the Judicial Branch hence it is supposed to make NO Laws, it is only supposed to implement them.

    Any Laws issued by it are over-reaching and beyond its Contitutional mandate.

    But the thing is, it’s not just “their will” because, just like virtually all the Presidents and other officials, the members of the Supreme Court are just puppets of our true “rulers”.

    Anyone with half a brain could have predicted this decision, despite the strong argument presented to the SCOTUS that the rights of children (of gay marriages) should come before the desires of gay couples.

    Our true “rulers” were plotting as far back as the 1960’s to not just bring about homosexual marriage but to popularize & “normalize” homosexuality overall, as part of their social engineering agenda.

    Marriage implies the potential for procreation. That should define marriage at its core. As you state, there is no equality due to same-sex couples inability to naturally procreate.

    Amerika continues to curse God and His Word. May a righteous Russia be the instrument of God’s judgement against this fallen nation. Pray that mercy be given to those believers who may be in the line of fire. However, we should be ready to flee into the mountains and hills at a moment’s notice.

    LGBT types make up such a small percentage of the population (except in metropolitan areas) that letting them marry seems more of a novelty than a major political and social movement. This ruling is intended to punish those who would deny service to them for anything related to any matrimonial ceremony.

    The community makes themselves out to be some huge, influential horde of citizens intent of sweeping over communities bringing about change. Financially, they exert a heavy influence on politicians and social causes. As far as body count is concerned, they are barely platoon-sized in comparison to any counterparts.

    Just like the Governor of South Carolina, the Jews on the U.S. Supreme Court condemn any display of Nazi or Confederate flags and objects, but also condemn any censure of Israel by academics and Palestinian activists such as the BDS (Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions) movement.

    But that is a contradiction because the Jews of Israel act just like Nazis and Confederates when they deal with the native Palestinians.

    They put the native Palestinians in giant walled concentration camps and deny them food and medicine. That’s why the Jews have violently opposed the humanitarian flotillas of the past several years bringing food and medicine.

    The Jews also played major roles in the American slave trade and in the Confederacy with many Jews holding military and political positions in the Confederacy during the Civil War. Also, the Zionist Jews used Hitler and the Nazis as a herding mechanism to force Jews to flee to Palestine and establish Israel!

    So when are these crazy Jews on the Supreme Court going to stop contradicting themselves by oppressing the Confederate and Nazi symbols while allowing the Nazi and Confederate doppleganger Jews of Israel to get away with terrorizing the Palestinian people!

    Supreme Court Disasters

    Many people are looking at the recent Supreme Court decisions about ObamaCare and same-sex marriage in terms of whether they think these are good or bad policies.

    That is certainly a legitimate concern, for both those who favor those policies and those who oppose them.

    But there is a deeper and more long-lasting impact of these decisions that raise the question whether we are still living in America, where “we the people” are supposed to decide what kind of society we want, not have our betters impose their notions on us.

    The Constitution of the United States says that the federal government has only those powers specifically granted to it by the Constitution — and that all other powers belong either to the states or to the people themselves.

    That is the foundation of our freedom, and that is what is being dismantled by both this year’s Obamacare decision and last year’s ObamaCare decision, as well as by the Supreme Court’s decision imposing a redefinition of marriage.

    Last year’s Supreme Court decision declaring ObamaCare constitutional says that the federal government can order individual citizens to buy the kind of insurance the government wants them to buy, regardless of what the citizens themselves prefer.

    The Constitution gave the federal government no such power, but the Supreme Court did. It did so by citing the government’s power to tax, even though the ObamaCare law did not claim to be taxing.

    This year’s ObamaCare decision likewise ignored the actual words of the law, and decided that the decisions of 34 states not to participate in ObamaCare Exchanges, even to get federal subsidies, would not prevent those federal subsidies to be paid anyway, to Exchanges up by the federal government itself.

    When any branch of government can exercise powers not authorized by either statutes or the Constitution, “we the people” are no longer free citizens but subjects, and our “public servants” are really our public masters. And America is no longer America.

    The freedom for which whole generations of Americans have fought and died is gradually but increasingly being taken away from us with smooth and slippery words.

    This decision makes next year’s choice of the next President of the United States more crucial than ever, because with that office goes the power to nominate justices of the Supreme Court.

    Democrats have consistently nominated people who shared their social vision and imposed their policy preferences, too often in disregard of the Constitution.

    Republicans have complained about it but, when the power of judicial appointment was in the hands of Republican presidents, they have too often appointed justices who participated in the dismantling of the Constitution — and usually for the kinds of social policies preferred by Democrats.

    Chief Justices appointed by Republican presidents have made landmark decisions for which there was neither Constitutional authority nor either evidence or logic. The first was Earl Warren.

    When Chief Justice Warren said that “separate educational facilities are inherently unequal,” he was within walking distance of an all-black public high school that sent a higher percentage of its graduates on to college than any white public high school in Washington.

    As far back as 1899, that school’s students scored higher on tests than two of the city’s three white academic public high schools.

    Nevertheless, Chief Justice Warren’s unsubstantiated assumption led to years of school busing across the country that was as racially divisive as it was educationally futile.

    Chief Justice Warren Burger, also appointed by a Republican president, gave us the “disparate impact” notion that statistical disparities imply discrimination. That notion has created a whole statistical shakedown racket, practiced by government itself and by private race hustlers alike.

    And now Chief Justice John Roberts, appointed by George W. Bush, gives the federal government the power to order us to buy whatever insurance they want us to buy. With that entering wedge, is there anything they cannot force us to do, regardless of the Constitution?

    Can the Republicans — or the country — afford to put another mushy moderate in the White House, who can appoint more mushy moderates to the Supreme Court?

    Wow am I confused, I Just had lunch with a group of Orthodox priests one from my church and a couple of people that teach religion at a community collage.

    It seems everyone was in agreement that the Gay thing is ok and Obamacare is good and even the Mexican invasion is ok and that the Russians are a mess.

    I know I am in a liberal area of the country but this just seems strange to me. They Despise Republicans (lately so do I) and are liberals, are most Orthodox Liberals?

    I want to care for all people, but they seem to look past all this immoral bizzare behavior. Its a OCA church but seems it started Russian Orthodox but has been diluted over time. Like I said, confused, is it because we are in the Northeast?

    Am I supposed to Martyr myself to the invaders and the Gays? WTH?

    There is a difference between having compassion for lost people and approving immoral behavior. Man I am lost.

    Somehow I failed to recognize that this SCOTUS decision represents legislating from the bench, something strictly forbidden in the Constitution.

    Thanks for reminding me of that. We need to remind everyone else, particularly our Congress critters, that such actions should never be tolerated.

    The offending justices (4 Jews and a modernist Catholic) need to be impeached for violating their oaths of office.

    I also like Ted Cruz’s constitutional amendment proposal to vote out judges that overstep their bounds. As it presently stands, there doesn’t seem to be any way for the Supreme Court to be overruled, which puts them in a dictatorial position.

    So marriage equality for gays and straights alike is here. I disagree with the court’s decision as well but no Christians should obsess over this single issue.

    The court’s reasoning is ridiculous and Brother Nathanael is absolutely right in his blistering takedown of Kennedy’s majority opinion.

    But the evangelical Christian Right has made condemnation of homosexuality their biggest priority here in America for too long. They have alienated sensible Christians and created more atheists.

    Why?

    Just like the Roman Senate in the times of the emperors these people *do* still have some power and word is definitely getting around, in DC at least, that there are a lot more Americans who think like we here do than there were even five years ago.

    The numbers are heading in our direction and this isn’t lost on the policy makers. If enough of us start raising a shout Jews will be forced to back off.

    That and make a committment to God of some value. Going meatless on Fridays as just one example I could give.

    What Do We Do Now?

    Conservatives are reeling after two outrageous decisions last week by the Supreme Court. In one case they reinterpreted Obamacare so that “established by the state” magically meant “or the federal government.”

    In another, they redefined marriage—even though nothing in our Constitution gives the court the authority to do that.

    What do we do now?

    The Obamacare case is the simpler of the two when it comes to next steps. While the court refused to enforce the plain meaning of the text, Congress can still vote to repeal Obamacare and replace it with patient-focused, market-based healthcare reforms that will truly serve all Americans.

    Obamacare remains unworkable, unaffordable and unpopular. Congress must act to repeal it.

    Responding to the marriage decision will be more complicated. It will require a commitment to the long haul. This bad decision cannot be remedied in any single bill, or vote or election cycle—though all of those can certainly soften the blow.

    The problem is that right when American citizens were in the middle of crucially important deliberations about marriage policy, five unelected judges shut down that democratic process and declared the conversation closed.

    In many ways, we are in a similar situation as the pro-life movement was after Roe v. Wade.

    Roe didn’t change the truth about unborn children or about our Constitution. And for 42 years the pro-life movement has been reminding us of that—and working to build a culture of life.

    We must do the same. We can’t allow the judicial usurpation of politics to go uncontested.

    We have to commit now to bearing witness to the truth about marriage—a permanent and exclusive union of man and woman, husband and wife, father and mother—and work to restore our constitutional authority as citizens to make marriage policy that serves the common good by reflecting this truth.

    How do we do that? Here are five steps.

    First, elections have consequences. The marriage ruling was 5-4. Two of the justices voting to redefine marriage were appointed by President Obama.

    The next president is expected to have the opportunity to appoint as many as four Supreme Court justices.

    If you care about the rule of law and our Constitution, you can’t afford to sit out this next election.

    It is very likely that the court will soon take a religious liberty case deciding whether citizens who do not believe in same-sex marriage will have their constitutional rights protected. Better justices, better outcome.

    The next president will also determine which legislation is signed and which is vetoed—and how to exercise leadership in the executive branch in a way that either continues to undermine, or begins to rebuild, the meaning of marriage in law and culture.

    Second, policy matters. We The People, and our elected representatives in Congress and state legislatures, can make policy that prohibits the government from violating our rights.

    This is why the First Amendment Defense Act is so vitally important. If passed and signed into law, this act would prohibit the federal government from ever discriminating against any citizen, charity, school or business because they embrace and act on the belief that marriage is the union of a man and woman.

    Just as the pro-life movement ensured that no pro-life citizen would ever have to pay for an abortion or perform an abortion, so too must we work to ensure no one is coerced to act against their conscience on the matter of marriage.

    Rather than go to court suing for religious liberty exemptions, this bill would prevent the government from ever acting unjustly in the first place.

    Third, the states matter. If you are concerned about faith-based adoption agencies shutting down, or bakers and florists and photographers being fined thousands of dollars simply for declining to celebrate a same-sex wedding, then you need to also be concerned about state and local policy.

    In each of these cases, it wasn’t the federal government acting on federal law that brought the burden; it was state and local government. We need good policy at all levels of government.

    Governors have an opportunity right now to issue executive orders preventing state agencies from discriminating against or otherwise penalizing citizens and organizations that continue to believe marriage is the union of a man and a woman.

    State legislatures can pass laws doing the same.

    Fourth, ideas matter. The judicial redefinition of marriage has no basis in our Constitution, but it didn’t come out of thin air.

    For the last 50 years, we have not done enough to combat the faulty liberal ideology that has wreaked havoc on America’s families.

    Redefining marriage is only possible in a culture that has accepted the results of the Sexual Revolution, like non-marital childbearing and no-fault divorce, and so many other bad ideas about human sexuality and the family.

    Already some “progressives” are using the court’s redefinition of marriage to go further.

    On Friday, the same day that the court redefined marriage, Politico ran an essay titled, “It’s Time to Legalize Polygamy: Why group marriage is the next horizon of social liberalism.”

    With few notable exceptions, far too many leaders have been silent on these issues. Far too few scholars have been willing to tell the truth. We need to speak up if we are to win these arguments.

    Fifth, our lives matter. Ideas go only so far, but the beauty of lived witness is what moves people the most.

    It’s not just that for 50 years we’ve bought into a lie about marriage; it’s that we haven’t lived out the truth.

    Even if government policy tells a lie about marriage for a time, we must refuse to believe the lie when it comes to how we live our lives and what we teach our children.

    Raising children and grandchildren to believe the truth—and, more importantly, live out the truth—must be done with all diligence, and we must form communities of virtue to help one another do that.

    Of course, communities of virtue will not be allowed to exist in the United States if some activists on the left get their way.

    These ideologues want to use the force of government to treat ordinary Americans who believe marriage is the union of man and woman as if they are racists.

    We must not allow them to succeed. We must work on policy and culture, ideas and actions, to ensure our rights are protected and we have the long-term ability to rebuild a strong marriage culture.

    America is in a time of transition. The court has redefined marriage, and beliefs about human sexuality are changing.

    Will the right to dissent be protected? Will the right of Americans to speak and act in accord with what the United States had always believed about marriage—that it’s a union of husband and wife—be tolerated?

    Most Americans say yes, they want to be a tolerant, pluralistic nation. They want peaceful coexistence.

    We agree with them. But far too many ideologues and activists want to sow the seeds of disharmony by having the government coerce those with whom they disagree. We must work together to protect these cherished American values.

    While Americans are free to live as they choose, no one should demand that government coerce others into celebrating their relationship.

    All Americans should remain free to believe and act in the public square based on their beliefs about marriage without fear of government penalty.

    After all, protecting religious liberty and the rights of conscience does not infringe on anyone’s sexual freedoms.

    The First Amendment Defense Act is one way of achieving civil peace even amid disagreement.

    To protect pluralism and the rights of all Americans, of whatever faith they may practice, this act is good policy. Liberals committed to tolerance should embrace it.

    You really must read the four dissenting opinions in the case. Even I am shocked by the bracing quality of the rhetoric and the analysis.

    If these justices are correct, this is a dark day for American democracy, and for the practice of traditional religion in America.

    Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the lead dissent. He says that he does not, in his dissent, take a position on whether or not we should have same-sex marriage.

    His contention is that the Constitution doesn’t say anything about it — yet the five-justice majority have invented a right to gay marriage out of whole cloth. Excerpts:

    “Although the policy arguments for extending marriage to same-sex couples may be compelling, the legal arguments for requiring such an extension are not.

    The fundamental right to marry does not include a right to make a State change its definition of marriage. And a State’s decision to maintain the meaning of marriage that has persisted in every culture throughout human history can hardly be called irrational.

    In short, our Constitution does not enact any one theory of marriage. The people of a State are free to expand marriage to include same-sex couples, or to retain the historic definition.

    Today, however, the Court takes the extraordinary step of ordering every State to license and recognize same-sex marriage.

    Many people will rejoice at this decision, and I begrudge none their celebration. But for those who believe in a government of laws, not of men, the majority’s approach is deeply disheartening.

    Supporters of same-sex marriage have achieved considerable success persuading their fellow citizens—through the democratic process—to adopt their view.

    That ends today. Five lawyers have closed the debate and enacted their own vision of marriage as a matter of constitutional law.

    Stealing this issue from the people will for many cast a cloud over same-sex marriage, making a dramatic social change that much more difficult to accept.”

    More Roberts:

    “The majority’s decision is an act of will, not legal judgment. The right it announces has no basis in the Constitution or this Court’s precedent.

    The majority expressly disclaims judicial “caution” and omits even a pretense of humility, openly relying on its desire to remake society according to its own “new insight” into the “nature of injustice.”

    As a result, the Court invalidates the marriage laws of more than half the States and orders the transformation of a social institution that has formed the basis of human society for millennia, for the Kalahari Bushmen and the Han Chinese, the Carthaginians and the Aztecs.

    Just who do we think we are?

    We think we are autonomous, willing creatures, who owe nothing to nature, to God, the past, or the future. More Roberts:

    The majority’s understanding of due process lays out a tantalizing vision of the future for Members of this Court:

    If an unvarying social institution enduring over all of recorded history cannot inhibit judicial policymaking, what can? But this approach is dangerous for the rule of law.

    The purpose of insisting that implied fundamental rights have roots in the history and tradition of our people is to ensure that when unelected judges strike down democratically enacted laws, they do so based on something more than their own beliefs.

    The Court today not only overlooks our country’s entire history and tradition but actively repudiates it, preferring to live only in the heady days of the here and now.

    Religious liberty and the future of orthodox Christianity is at stake — and the Chief Justice is not sanguine about it:

    The majority graciously suggests that religious believers may continue to “advocate” and “teach” their views of marriage.

    The First Amendment guarantees, however, the freedom to “exercise” religion. Ominously, that is not a word the majority uses.

    Hard questions arise when people of faith exercise religion in ways that may be seen to conflict with the new right to same-sex marriage—when, for example, a religious college provides married student housing only to opposite-sex married couples, or a religious adoption agency declines to place children with same-sex married couples.

    Indeed, the Solicitor General candidly acknowledged that the tax exemptions of some religious institutions would be in question if they opposed same-sex marriage.

    There is little doubt that these and similar questions will soon be before this Court. Unfortunately, people of faith can take no comfort in the treatment they receive from the majority today.” [Emphasis mine — RD]

    Justice Antonin Scalia, in his dissent, sets the house on fire.

    As in his past opinions on issues related to homosexuality, Scalia affirms that he does not take a position on whether or not laws liberalizing homosexuality are right or wrong.

    Instead, he focuses on the right of the judiciary to subvert the political process and impose its own views on the country. Excerpts:

    “So it is not of special importance to me what the law says about marriage. It is of overwhelming importance, however, who it is that rules me.”

    Today’s decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court.

    The opinion in these cases is the furthest extension in fact— and the furthest extension one can even imagine—of the Court’s claimed power to create “liberties” that the Constitution and its Amendments neglect to mention.

    This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine, always accompanied (as it is today) by extravagant praise of liberty, robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776: the freedom to govern themselves. [Emphasis mine. — RD]

    Note this sentence:

    A system of government that makes the People subordinate to a committee of nine unelected lawyers does not deserve to be called a democracy.

    Scalia points out that the justices who imposed this politically charged decision are drawn from an elite, unrepresentative class:

    “Judges are selected precisely for their skill as lawyers; whether they reflect the policy views of a particular constituency is not (or should not be) relevant.

    Not surprisingly then, the Federal Judiciary is hardly a cross-section of America.

    Take, for example, this Court, which consists of only nine men and women, all of them successful lawyers who studied at Harvard or Yale Law School. Four of the nine are natives of New York City.

    Eight of them grew up in east- and west-coast States. Only one hails from the vast expanse in-between. Not a single Southwesterner or even, to tell the truth, a genuine Westerner (California does not count).

    Not a single evangelical Christian (a group that comprises about one quarter of Americans), or even a Protestant of any denomination.

    The strikingly unrepresentative character of the body voting on today’s social upheaval would be irrelevant if they were functioning as judges, answering the legal question whether the American people had ever ratified a constitutional provision that was understood to proscribe the traditional definition of marriage.

    But of course the Justices in today’s majority are not voting on that basis; they say they are not.

    And to allow the policy question of same-sex marriage to be considered and resolved by a select, patrician, highly unrepresentative panel of nine is to violate a principle even more fundamental than no taxation without representation: no social transformation without representation.”

    This is the language of revolution, pure and simple. That’s how serious this is to Justice Scalia. Boy, is he outraged at the gasbag Anthony Kennedy, author of the majority opinion. Read on:

    “If, even as the price to be paid for a fifth vote, I ever joined an opinion for the Court that began: “The Constitution promises liberty to all within its reach, a liberty that includes certain specific rights that allow persons, within a lawful realm, to define and express their identity,” I would hide my head in a bag.

    The Supreme Court of the United States has descended from the disciplined legal reasoning of John Marshall and Joseph Story to the mystical aphorisms of the fortune cookie.

    Pow! More:

    “Of course the opinion’s showy profundities are often profoundly incoherent. “The nature of marriage is that, through its enduring bond, two persons together can find other freedoms, such as expression, intimacy, and spirituality.”

    (Really? Who ever thought that intimacy and spirituality [whatever that means] were freedoms? And if intimacy is, one would think Freedom of Intimacy is abridged rather than expanded by marriage. Ask the nearest hippie. Expression, sure enough, is a freedom, but anyone in a long-lasting marriage will attest that that happy state constricts, rather than expands, what one can prudently say.)

    Rights, we are told, can “rise . . . from a better informed understanding of how constitutional imperatives define a liberty that remains urgent in our own era.”

    (Huh? How can a better informed understanding of how constitutional imperatives [whatever that means] define [whatever that means] an urgent liberty [never mind], give birth to a right?)

    And we are told that, “[i]n any particular case,” either the Equal Protection or Due Process Clause “may be thought to capture the essence of [a] right in a more accurate and comprehensive way,” than the other, “even as the two Clauses may converge in the identification and definition of the right.”

    (What say? What possible “essence” does substantive due process “capture” in an “accurate and comprehensive way”? It stands for nothing whatever, except those freedoms and entitlements that this Court really likes.

    And the Equal Protection Clause, as employed today, identifies nothing except a difference in treatment that this Court really dislikes.

    Hardly a distillation of essence. If the opinion is correct that the two clauses “converge in the identification and definition of [a] right,” that is only because the majority’s likes and dislikes are predictably compatible.)

    I could go on. The world does not expect logic and precision in poetry or inspirational pop philosophy; it demands them in the law. The stuff contained in today’s opinion has to diminish this Court’s reputation for clear thinking and sober analysis.”

    Scalia ends ominously:

    “With each decision of ours that takes from the People a question properly left to them—with each decision that is unabashedly based not on law, but on the “reasoned judgment” of a bare majority of this Court—we move one step closer to being reminded of our impotence.”

    This decision does not surprise me, or, I suspect, anybody. What I was looking for is some sense in the majority opinion that religious liberty was important to the decision, and would be safeguarded.

    I had hoped that the libertarian Justice Kennedy would appreciate the importance of this issue.

    He did not — and Justice Alito, in his dissent, highlights the dangers facing orthodox Christians:

    ALITO:

    Today’s decision usurps the constitutional right of the people to decide whether to keep or alter the traditional understanding of marriage.

    The decision will also have other important consequences. It will be used to vilify Americans who are unwilling to assent to the new orthodoxy.

    In the course of its opinion, the majority compares traditional marriage laws to laws that denied equal treatment for African-Americans and women.

    The implications of this analogy will be exploited by those who are determined to stamp out every vestige of dissent. [Emphasis mine. — RD]

    More:

    Perhaps recognizing how its reasoning may be used, the majority attempts, toward the end of its opinion, to reassure those who oppose same-sex marriage that their rights of conscience will be protected.

    We will soon see whether this proves to be true. I assume that those who cling to old beliefs will be able to whisper their thoughts in the recesses of their homes, but if they repeat those views in public, they will risk being labeled as bigots and treated as such by governments, employers, and schools.

    The system of federalism established by our Constitution provides a way for people with different beliefs to live together in a single nation.

    If the issue of same-sex marriage had been left to the people of the States, it is likely that some States would recognize same-sex marriage and others would not.

    It is also possible that some States would tie recognition to protection for conscience rights.

    The majority today makes that impossible. By imposing its own views on the entire country, the majority facilitates the marginalization of the many Americans who have traditional ideas.

    Recalling the harsh treatment of gays and lesbians in the past, some may think that turnabout is fair play. But if that sentiment prevails, the Nation will experience bitter and lasting wounds.” [Emphasis mine. — RD]

    Another ominous ending by a dissenting justice:

    “Most Americans—understandably—will cheer or lament today’s decision because of their views on the issue of same-sex marriage.

    But all Americans, whatever their thinking on that issue, should worry about what the majority’s claim of power portends.”

    I will have a lot more to say about the decision later, but I’ll post this now so you readers can start commenting.

    I will say this: Though the result was expected, the sweeping character of the Obergefell decision, and its unwillingness to do more than nod and smile at the First Amendment, and tell religious believers to hope for the best, is even worse than many of us will have anticipated.

    The warnings of the dissenting justices about the radical challenge to our democracy, and the threats now faced by religious believers, are absolutely chilling — and indeed, prophetic.

    This is not the end of something. For Christians, because of the text of the decision and the means by which the Supreme Court majority arrived at it, this is only the beginning of some very dark and difficult days.

    It is time to confront this soberly but realistically, and prepare for the resistance.

    Gay Marriage and the Houston Gay Rights Ordinance

    We, the Orthodox clergy of Houston and Southeast Texas, are compelled by our responsibilities before God to speak out plainly against the rebellion against God’s created order that we see being waged on both the local and national level.

    It is God who created the two sexes, and established marriage at the time of creation, as our Lord Jesus Christ tells us:

    “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” (Mark 10:6-10; cf. Genesis 1:27; 2:24; 5:2).

    The so called “Houston Equal Rights Ordinance,” is nothing of the sort; but rather gives a man who wishes to consider himself a woman, on a given day, the right to use women’s restrooms in the city of Houston.

    Such a man need not have even had a “sex change” operation, or even dress like a woman, since “gender” is considered to be a state of the mind rather than a biological fact.

    After the City council approved this unjust law, Christians of all races, denominations, and political affiliations organized a petition drive, which resulted in far more than the required number of signatures to get the issue on the ballot.

    But Mayor Annise Parker, disregarding the law, simply chose to disregard the will of the people and their right to vote in accordance with the law.

    She also used the occasion to unconstitutionally subpoena the sermons and private pastoral correspondences of pastors who were not even a party to a lawsuit that is seeking to force the Mayor to simply obey the law and allow the citizens of the city of Houston their right to vote.

    We wish to express our support for the fight against this unjust law, and the unlawful actions of Mayor Annise Parker, and we call upon her to cease ignoring the will of the people — which she clearly knows does not support her actions, or else she would not fear leaving the matter to them.

    The question of “gay marriage” is also before the Supreme Court, and it is feared that they will impose “gay marriage” on the entire United States.

    We want our parishioners, fellow citizens, political leaders, and our nation’s judges to know that if this is done, it will be a violation of the letter and the spirit of the United States Constitution.

    More importantly, it will be an act of rebellion against “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.”

    We have laws respecting marriage because only heterosexual relationships are capable of producing children, and those children are best provided for and properly raised within the context of traditional marriage.*

    Homosexual relationships cannot possibly produce children, and so cannot possibly fit the meaning of the word “marriage,” neither should the state concern itself with recognizing such relationships.

    Homosexual couples also cannot provide both a mother and a father to a child, and so should not be allowed to adopt children.

    The Declaration of Independence correctly states that our rights come from God, not from the state. The state can either justly protect those rights, or unjustly violate them.

    No government, much less an unelected court, can justly proclaim something to be a right which violates God’s natural order.

    The only way society can accommodate the demands of homosexual activists to call their relationships “marriage” and to allow everyone to pick which restroom they desire, is to ignore that men and women are different and have unique characteristics, and to pretend that there is no difference between a mother and a father.

    This can only be accomplished if we all deny that which we know to be true, and “suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).

    Let it be known that we will never recognize such laws or judicial decrees to be either right or just, nor will we be intimidated into silence, but will continue to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29), and proclaim the whole counsel of God on these issues (Acts 20:27).

    *Infertile heterosexual couples are still capable of providing adopted children with both a mother and a father. Also, having children, while a primary purpose of marriage, it is not the only purpose for marriage as far as the Church is concerned; however, having children is the only reason why the state has a legitimate interest in marriage.

    There were also 38 abstentions.

    The vote came after months of headlines about student-run Israel divestment resolutions on university campuses, particularly in California.

    The United Church of Christ, a mainline U.S. Protestant denomination, has a long history of activism in the United States, and was a leading advocate for African American civil rights in the 1960s.

    The church’s engagement with the Israeli and Palestinian conflict first came up at its national meeting in Atlanta in 2005; Tuesday’s vote came on the heels of similar votes by the U.S. Presbyterian Church and the United Methodist Church, the Huffington Post reported.

    The Jewish Council for Public Affairs and the Israel Action Network issued a statement in response to what it termed a “deeply skewed” resolution.

    Speaking about Jewish tyranny in the U.S.; here’s a good one for you.

    I talked to someone associated with the “National Underground Railroad Freedom Center” in Cincinnati.

    They focus mainly on what happened to slaves in the U.S. just before and just after the Civil War and the “Jim Crow” laws but also have other exhibits involving human rights violations.

    Right now, they have an exhibit that’s very large involving human trafficking in the world which is very important and they also had an exhibit about the persecution of Jews by the Nazis at Auschwitz.

    I asked this person if Israel has ever been mentioned in any of the exhibits that she knew of. She said she didn’t know of any mention.

    I asked her if there was ever any exhibit about the persecution of Palestinians by Israel. She said NO.

    I asked her if there was ever any exhibit about the persecution of Blacks that come to Israel from Ethiopia and the Sudan. She said NO.

    I asked her if there ever was any exhibit about “free blacks” owning their own slaves in the U.S. before the Civil War. She said NO.

    To me, it looks like the focus needs to be on gentiles and White Christians in the U.S. as being the villains and we must leave those poor innocent Blacks and Jews alone.

    So what are the betting odds in Las Vegas given for Jews being the biggest promoters and financiers of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and that as part of the deal Jews and Israel must never be mentioned in any negative way?

    6,000,000 bodies x 3.5 hrs = 21,000,000 hrs.

    21,000,000 hrs divided by 24 hours = 875,000 days.

    875,000 days divided by 365 days = 2,397.3 years – using MODERN crematoria.

    Thus, it would take one modern crematorium chamber working around the clock – without any down time – over 2,400 years to cremate 6,000,000 bodies.

    It would take 1,200 modern crematoria, going non-stop, two years to cremate 6,000,000 bodies.

    I am not surprised in the least about what you have said about the OCA church in NE. I humbly submit that the lies which abound in this world are so rampant that even some Orthodox Christians, especially the American ones can be deceived.

    In the OCA church, I have run into a lot of what I call “eastern rite protestantism”. It is sickening.

    I think Americans who wallow in wealth and comfort are incapable of understanding the suffering Orthodoxy of the heart, as described by Orthodox Christians of the Middle East, Russia, etc.

    Father Seraphim Rose would be an exception to this, yet the OCA disregards him, just as they disregard so many saints and even martyrs, and even make fun of pious Russian Orthodox and Greek Orthodox Christians who actually live their faith.

    In one OCA church, the priest, a converted Jew, always talks about the ideal political situation as “anarchy”. He loves Isrealhell and thinks all Muslims are evil and that they did 9/11. At religious discussions, he quotes what he calls “rabbinical literature” and we know what that is.

    He, like most of the deacons, say that Israel “is surrounded by enemies and must defend itself”–in reply to the bombing of Gaza.

    This is anti-Christian of course. Christ is a King “He is robed in Majesty”. It is the Kingdom of heaven, not a democracy or republic.

    In fact, today is the feast day of the Royal Martyrs of Russia–he does not mention it.

    In this same OCA church, nominally Orthodox gays are treated like royalty when they show up for a funeral, though they do not attend services even on Holy Days. One Lesbian introduced “her wife” to mourners at such an event, in church.

    A Deacon made a joke about humility(!) in sing song imitation Yiddish intonation crediting the pederast and wife killer Dershowitz for it–and this happened during a Lenten meeting after pre-sanctified gifts, not in a parking lot.

    There is a lot more and worse–too painful to write, really, and the only reason I am writing this to you now is that I am certain that if you stick with Patristic theology, immerse yourself in the lives of the saints and martyrs, participate in the Divine Liturgy, obey the commands of Christ, live according to the beatitudes, repent and pray, you may retain the grace of your baptism, for many in these days have lost theirs.

    Turn away from the heterodox and those who seek to take from the Truth–which is Christ. As Orthodox Christians,we are in the world now, but certainly not of the world.

    Please read any of Father Seraphim Rose’s books or articles and especially his excellent biography by Heiromonk Damascene.

    We are so blessed that our wonderful Brother Nathanael–a true Orthodox Christian–has the courage to rail against evil, and enlighten anyone who seeks to know.

    Orthodox life in America is not easy. This is part of our cross we are called to this generation. Laskarina is correct.

    While there are many very sincere and spiritual people in the Orthodox Church of America, it also suffers from a number of internal problems, including the problem of some Protestants, evangelicals and Catholics, not to mention ethnic Jews, who bring their own heterodox baggage to conversion including Zio-christianity, and insist on keeping it.

    I know during my conversion, I came to the humiliating point where I realized that just about everything I knew about Christ and Christianity was wrong, and that the Fathers, the Patristic “mind” of the Church and Holy Scripture and Tradition were right.

    However, these problems are not exclusive to OCA.

    Orthodox life has never been a utopia. Even in our own Church history, we faced persecutions at times by “our own” such as during the Iconclastic Controversy by our own nominal emperors, his episcopal sycophants, the shallow, materialist nobility.

    At those disasterous and painful times, the monastics and the laity stood firm with minority eikono-doulos (iconodule) bishops and clergy.

    The glorious preacher, St. John Chrysostomos, Patriarch of Constantinople and Bishop of Antioch, who fearlessly spoke truth to corrupt powers, was exiled several times by emperors, nor was he the only hierarch or priest to be banished.

    If you’ve not made a pilgrimage to a monastery and spent a little time in the real heart of Orthodoxy, off the top of my head I would suggest either St Herman of Alaska of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North California or else the Monastery of St Anthony is Florence, AZ.

    Brother Nathanael could probably recommend more.

    Perhaps this next from an Orthodox realist will be of some consolation and spiritual food for thought. It gives the convert a true picture of the struggles, the obedience as well as the rewards he/she can expect.

    Above all, are you prepared to accept all things as from God?

    If we are meant, always, to be “happy,” why the Crucifixion? Are you prepared, whatever happens, to believe that somewhere, somehow, it must make sense?

    That does not mean passive endurance, but it means constant vigilance, listening, for what is demanded; and above all, Love.

    Poor, old, sick, to our last breath, we can love. Not sentimental nonsense so often confused with love, but the love of sacrifice – inner crucifixion of greed, envy, pride.

    And never confuse love with sentimentality.

    And never confuse worship with affectation.

    Be humble – love, even when it is difficult. Not sentimental so called love – And do not treat church worship as a theatrical performance!

    The boycott of Israel appears to have been successful in the domain of the artistic creation.

    Each year since 2003, an International Short Film Festival is held during a whole week in Bulgaria. It is funded by the European Union and opened to students from the whole world. I have seen the competitions of 2011, 2014 and 2015.

    This year, due to their usual strong arm tactics, Israel has pushed about ten movies into the competition. Last year there was only one movie and 4 years ago two movies, all three being of a reasonable quality.

    The competition is opened to fiction, animation, documentary and experimental films which last from 2 minutes to 25 minutes. All the greedy Israelis’ movies lasted more than 20 minutes, they have the moronic attitude of considering that the longer the art-show the better.

    The only Israeli movie worth viewing in 2015 was staged during the Sabbath at a hospice, where Arab nurses and Russian doctors take care of the elderly. My own conclusion is that it is the day of the week the most pleasant for all those living in Tel Aviv.

    All the other boring Israeli movies were filled with the superficiality of women and their make-up, sex and the dumbness of the sad fake life of the Israelis who self hypnotize themselves into believing that the Arabs do not exist.

    The decoration in their apartments and their paintings are really ugly. An Israeli documentary is worth mentioning, by viewing it you learn that during the whole time of a soccer match, the supporters of each team shout “WAR” in the Hebraic language at each other nonstop. It is very incantatory!

    Last year the top prize went to a Danish movie in which a teenage girl wanted to be f**ked by an adult, there was a special price for an Italian movie where two elderly f**ked together. I believe that a Polish movie won in 2015, there were three other Polish movies that I personally preferred to that winner.

    Last year French students with Muslim sounding names presented two good quality films, this year the artistic value of a French documentary on a Brazilian transvestite is lost when a fat homosexual says “ce n’est pas dégoutant quand deux hommes s’embrassent” meaning “It is NOT disgusting when two men kiss each other.”

    I can’t be convinced with this use of a negation of an action, because no proper term is likely to ever exist to describe directly this repugnant act in a positive way.

    Last year lesbianism was pushed into Bulgaria in at least 3 movies. This year prostitution was present in 5 or 6 movies. Israelis, Catholic Spaniards and Latin-Americans present the day-long viewing of pornography on the family’s TV as just natural.

    I feel sorry for the students of bad teachers like those from Toulouse, France: a 12-year old Mexican girl finds the ass of her male math teacher pretty (Hollywood has already introduced a similar line more than 35 years ago), soiling of underwear, masturbation (with the metallic sound of keys or coins) of an adult in front of the girl, simulation by this girl of being f**ked some minutes later in a swing set composed of a tire…

    Other than the shameless Catholic West and the parasitic Israel, Central European countries, Russia, Japan, Korea, Qatar (last year), Taiwan, all presented good subjects. The Czechs are very much intellectuals, and each year I feel I have similar ways of understanding with the Slovak movie students even though I am almost pure Celtic.

    The Germans and the Belgians showed us a grandmother sharing a joint of grass or cannabis with her grandson and a father and daughter doing the same.

    Maybe a student from a London school of films will be able to help the Israelis in the domain of art creation.

    She presented a piece of propaganda on Syria with alleged Syrian images of torture victims. Now, many should know that the Americans are the more likely source for such images, because they are so much proud of their own torturing practices.

    Father Victor, please tell us how the Orthodox of America reacted to the decision of the US Supreme Court recognizing the legitimacy of same-sex marriage throughout the country?

    – To tell you the truth, we feel like we are in mourning. Of course, no one was surprised that it happened. We all understood that the majority of the Supreme Court would vote in favor of the decision to register same-sex marriages.

    It all started a long time ago, and over a year ago, the Supreme Court declared the Marriage Protection Act illegal. Now this is the result.

    Of course, homosexuals claim that they are looking for equality in civil life and they want gay husbands and wives to have the right to visit each other in the hospital, inherit property, to have children, and the rights which are provided to traditional couples.

    I think, though, they actually are pursuing other goals.

    Just this morning, I read an interview with a rather famous Russian emigrant, Masha Gessen, who has long been an activist in the LGBT movement.

    She, of course is an anarchist, but they listen to her opinion in America, and she said: “Our goal is to destroy marriage as an institution, so that there is no longer the concept of marriage.”

    Her words need to be taken very seriously.

    I am also very concerned about what will happen next. What group will now demand equality.

    Now someone might say: Why not, for example, legalize polygamy?

    This already occurred in American history among Mormons, and now people are talking about it again. Why can’t a man have several wives, — and a woman a few husbands?

    Moreover, isn’t it, in some sense, more natural than same-sex marriage? So who knows what awaits us — and what will they now teach our children and grandchildren in school?

    It is really disturbing for all of us, because now, homosexuality is considered the norm, it will be introduced into the school curriculum, children will grow up with it, and will get used to it.

    It is still being debated in the school boards of various regions of America.

    In some places they defend the traditional approach to teaching children about gender and others, who are more liberal, have simply told children, that a child may have two fathers, without a mother, and non-traditional families are presented as the norm.

    We know what will then happen. Now that same-sex marriage has been legalized in the country, it has just become a matter of time before propaganda will be promoted throughout the schools.

    Parents who are unhappy and have other views can homeschool children or send them to religious schools, but in ordinary schools, everything will be “under the law.”

    – Are the Orthodox of America united in having a negative opinion of the law?

    – So far they are virtually united, but already in some Orthodox jurisdictions priests are beginning to take positions.

    For example, a priest of the Orthodox Church in America in Boston is talking about the possibility of accepting same-sex couples.

    Unfortunately, over the last 15 years, homosexual propaganda has been being circulated and many have already been influenced.

    Even some Orthodox say: “Well, it is not that bad. Let them do what they want. It doesn’t concern us.”

    That earthquake of sorts that is occurring, though, is changing the order established by God. It is terrible that we are encroaching on the will of God.

    Of course, to a certain extent, we Christians are to blame for what happened. I see that marriage is not revered in Russia or in America.

    Young people are fine to live together, and only after 5 or 6 years decide to have a church marriage, but prayer in the wedding rite is addressed to a chaste couple.

    Can you imagine, we, priests, marrying people who already have children. I am not talking about the older generation that did not know the Church, but about the current generation of young people.

    We do not honor marriage properly as a Divinely established institution.

    That said, of course, Patriarch Iliya of Georgia and the Mid-American Diocese of ROCOR condemned the decision of the Supreme Court, also remembering that we have to despise the sin, but are required to love the sinner.

    There is another danger, though. We recently learned that in the UK, a rich gay couple is suing the Church of England, wanting the opportunity to marry.

    So, an attack on the Church has already begun. In general, people are afraid to say anything bad about the homosexual lifestyle, because anyone who is against it is immediately accused of homophobia and misanthropy.

    Our freedom of speech has already been limited and I am afraid that in time, it will become worse and worse.

    – Have you had such a precedent, so that this sort of couple has come and asked to be married?

    – No, there hasn’t been. There was, however, a so-called Orthodox Christian who leads this way of life and he asked if he could get married in our church.

    Of course, we told him that it is absolutely impossible. This, though, was the only instance — and of course, if such efforts are made in the future, we will flatly refuse.

    Every person is a child of God, and everyone deserves to receive attention and pastoral care.

    After all, we help the infirm and mentally ill and don’t turn anyone away. We all need God’s help, but cannot allow sin.

    – Is such a development in America possible, that eventually pressure will be put on the Church and the Church will be required to accept gay marriage?

    – Yes, it is possible. Nothing surprises me. Of course, I can’t predict this, but could we have expected 15 years ago that same-sex marriage would be legalized? It’s mind boggling, especially so quickly.

    The other day I was listening to an interview with a representative of the gay movement, and the interviewer asked: “What’s next?” – “Next, we are going to set out to other countries. We are going to carry out our policy in other countries where it is prohibited.”

    Last year, I was in Georgia and when gay parades were organized there, the Orthodox were outraged and resisted.

    Now, though, if they want to join the European Union, it will simply require them to hold gay parades legally and to give the country’s homosexuals full rights. Now it’s just a normal requirement.

    So, dear Russia, hold on, for they will soon set out for you too.

    Hackard’s piece struck me as a fitting and most sober-minded reflection for Independence Day about the shabby and demoralized condition of America, and how the parasite Jewmerica the Golem rose in its place, like a heinous cuckoo bird that robbed some other poor bird’s next for its eggs.

    What is destroying America today is not the liberal breed of one-world politicians, or the IMF bankers, or the misguided educational elite, or the World Council of Churches; these are largely symptoms of a greater disorder.

    If there is any single institution to blame, it is, to use the cozy diminutive, “TV”.

    TV is more than a medium; it has become a full-fledged institution, backed by billions of dollars each season.

    Its producers want us to sit in front of its glazed-over electronic screen, press our clutch of discernment through the floorboards, and sit in a spangled, zoned-out state (“couch potatoes,” in current parlance) while we are instructed in the proper liberal tone and attitude by our present-day Plato and Aristotle-Dan Rather and Tom Brokow.

    These television celebrities have more temporal power than the teachings of Aristotle and Plato have built up over the centuries.

    Television, in fact, has greater power over the lives of most Americans than any educational system or government or church.

    Children are particularly susceptible. They are mesmerized, hypnotized and tranquilized by TV. It is often the center of their world; even when the set is turned off, they continue to tell stories about what they’ve seen on it.

    No wonder, then, that as adults they are not prepared for the frontline of life; they simply have no mental defenses to confront the reality of the world.

    What’s interesting is that, up until as recently as 2010 or so, barely any American politician anywhere would publicly defend same-sex marriage.

    Around this time is when the Jewish groups Brother Nathanael mentions elsewhere in his articles poured in with money and influence and then… presto chango! Obama, Hillary, etc. say it is now safe to come out for gay marriage!

    And Obama appoints the unqualified Jewess Elena Kagan and leftist Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. And the “Notorious RBG” Jewess Ginsburg does interviews advocating gay marriage, something no Supreme Court justice has any business doing.

    The unhappy truth for homosexuals is that America is a conservative, Christian country that in their heart of hearts are appalled by the idea of same-sex marriage. That is why the state constitutional amendments were passed in like 30 or more states outlawing the practice. Only Jewish money and influence made this outcome possible.

    “60% of Americans now approve of gay marriage” you’ll hear in the MSM. This is pure BS!! Americans are just afraid to speak what they really feel on this issue for fear of censure.

    This is ruling is obviously symptomatic of America’s decline. But we should not lose hope entirely yet.

    Why do they support gays because they like gays? Obviously not.

    Only good religion is Christianity. But evil can attach to any thing good to suck the energy. Everything needs to balance. if Jews are not doing evil, then someone will occupy the vacant space.

    Jews have not started real criminal activity yet, because they have not achieved the critical mass to come out open say it’s a Jewish empire.

    Article. V.

    The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article;

    AND that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

    The 17th Amendment deprived some States of their sufferage in the Senate.

    We would do well to repeal the 17th Amendment! According to the 10th Amendment , the States are distinct from the People.

    This Article is talking about the State Governments, NOT the people of a State.

    Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Virginia did not ratify that amendment and were deprived of their equal suffrage in the Senate, thereby profoundly effecting the integrity of every Amendment to the Constitution!

    Also, the unseating of the Senators of Southern States for their refusal to ratify Amendment 14 constituted “exactly” that prohibition, “AND that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffragein the Senate.”

    The argument that the Senate shall be the sole judge of the qualifications of its members, used to justify their expulsion, flies directly in the face of Article V. The North nitpicked a small section of the powers of each House to justify the complete overthrow of the Constitution of the United States. They did not realize that it invalidated every Amendment to the Constitution, or they did not care.

    People always say, Congress intended… Congress intended to enslave every Southerner born for the eternity available to the Federal Government, even though they are duty bound to cease and desist with the Civil War Amendments once the offending generation dies of.

    “No Corruption of Blood” which I would interpret as the powers of self government being part of the property, the bequeathment of the Southerners to their children. Our liberty and rights are our property as well as our slaves and our investments in Confederate War Bonds. The Congress certainly intended nothing good for any Southerner ever born again. The same can be said when attempting to balance the assertion that attainders of treason are legal with other lines in the Constitution that declare that no attainders of any sort are legal.

    Please notice that whan the Constitution proclaims with great bombast that it is Supreme over State Laws and Constitutions, it has no jurisdiction over State laws and Constitutions.

    I also would like to show you a few other things in the Constitution that I am sure you will find to be very interesting.

    Article 1. Section 9.3} No bill of attainder or ex post facto law shall be passed.

    The 14th Amendment fails these basic tests of Constitutionality. That amendment is a bill of attainder and it was passed ex post facto. Article 1. Section 9.3 is probably the reason that the Antebellum South so confidently seceded. Seceded or not, the North was and still is bound by that limitation of power.

    The North had no power over slavery in 1861, and it still had no legal power over slavery in 1865. The history of the 14th amendment has been well documented, and it truly is a testimony to the failure of Constitutional government.

    Article 3. Section 3.2} The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attained.

    Article 1.Section 9.3} declared that Congress may not pass Bills of Attainder or ex post facto laws. Now we see an exception or a mistake. The Constitution contradicts itself here.

    Attainders of treason are permitted with some very serious restrictions on them to protect the descendants of the traitors. That is us, by the way. The primary problem is the 14th Amendment.

    The value of the slaves and Southern war bonds concern us here. That value is the forfeiture that is Constitutionally bound to be returned to the Southern people, as we shall not suffer Corruption of Blood or lose our property EXCEPT during the lifetimes of the Confederate Politicians and Soldiers. They are now all dead.

    Also, the theory known as the Incorporation Doctrine is defunct. The application od the 14th Amendment to the States and the people is illegal. The traitors are dead!

    The application of the Incorporation Doctrine is Corruption of Blood and is Unconstitutional. We, the Southerners living now, are not and have never been Traitors to the United States. We are thereby under the jurisdiction of the original Constitution.

    Corruption of Blood is being allowed to function as the Supreme Law of the Land rather than the Constitution of the United States. This cannot continue.

    I propose that any one of the Southern States expelled from Congress to force their ratification of the 14th Amendment, simply repeal their states ratification of the 14th Amendment. That alone would tie EVERYTHING up in the Federal courts for the next 20 years. Liberty would blossom again.

    Further, in black and white, Amendments are NOT Unconditional. They are a delegated power to the Federal Government, and are vested as a privilege. Notice the Articles of Confederation had no such delegation. It has been abused time and again by the Federal Government, going so far as to destroy the entire social system of the creators of the Federal Constitution. Necessary and “Proper” indeed!!!

    I would like to propose what we shall call, The Doctrine of the Perpetual Negative. When the Constitution says that no power shall be exercised by the general government, that negative cannot be repealed or overridden in any way Legislative, Executive or Judicial under this Constitution except through the next Constitutional Convention.

    The reason is that when the Constitution says, for example, that there may be NO direct taxes, the the proposal to override it, to repeal it, violates the prohibition. The proposal, though it later be an Amendment, is itself at all times Unconstitutional, thus illegal, and null and void! Negatives may not be repealed.

    I submit that the 10th Amendment supports this view as well and would want to see it debated.
