\n“JEWS HAVE BOUGHT OUR COUNTRY!”<\/font> <\/strong>is the chief rallying cry<\/a><\/font> of the Nationalist “Jobbik” Party of Hungary. <\/p>\n

As Hungary’s third-largest party holding 44 of 386 seats in parliament, Jobbik<\/em>\u2014Movement for a Better Hungary\u2014describes<\/a><\/font> itself as a “patriotic Christian party whose purpose<\/a><\/font> is the protection of Hungarian values and interests.” <\/p>\n

Closely allied with Jobbik<\/em> is the “Magyar Garda”<\/a><\/font> or Hungarian Guard, a growing militia and paramilitary group<\/a><\/font> dedicated to “rescuing” and “arming” Hungarians in order to “challenge” the state’s monopoly of force.<\/p>\n

With Christian rhetoric<\/a><\/font> such as, “Jews have desecrated our national symbols,” Jobbik<\/em> captured the attention of Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League<\/em> who calls<\/a><\/font> the group an “openly anti-Semitic and racist party.”<\/p>\n

Outraged<\/a><\/font> by the strong showing in the 2010 Hungarian parliamentary elections in which 1 in 6 Hungarian voters cast their ballots for Jobbik<\/em>, Foxman described voter enthusiasm as a “vote for hate.”<\/p>\n

And alluding to the never-ending ‘Holocaust’ hokum, Foxman said,<\/a><\/font> “The Jobbik<\/em> party’s appeals to racism, xenophobia and anti-Semitism have their antecedents in modern European history and no one wants to see that history repeated in Hungary.”<\/p>\n

<\/center><\/p>\n

DESPITE FOXMAN’S CENSURE,<\/font><\/strong> Jobbik<\/em>\u2014”The Movement for a Better Hungary”\u2014is one of the most powerful political forces in Hungary.<\/p>\n

Stirring<\/a><\/font> patriotic fervor throughout Hungary last week, Marton Gyongyosi, a leading MP of Jobbik<\/em>, called<\/a><\/font> for a list to be drawn up of Jewish politicians and government members who pose a “threat to national security.” <\/p>\n

Although provoking<\/a><\/font> outrage among Hungary\u2019s 80,000-strong Jewish community and liberal politicians, Gyongyosi justified his demand saying<\/a><\/font> that it was due to increased tensions following Israel’s latest assault on Gaza.<\/p>\n

Regarding Jobbik’s<\/em> charge<\/a><\/font> of Jews “desecrating national symbols” … one wonders if perhaps the same charge<\/em> (and backlash<\/em>) can be made against the Jews in America?<\/p>\n

FOR AFTER ALL,<\/font><\/strong> American Jewry wages unrelenting war<\/font> <\/a>against Christian symbols in the public square, education, and in the general culture.<\/p>\n

Hungary has indeed launched an impending<\/em> global backlash<\/em> against the Jews. <\/p>\n

Still, the nation upon which Jewry holds a deadly grip\u2014America\u2014must lead the way if we are ever to see the end of Jewish devastation and rule.
